Well it all depends on how much you like the characters but personally I wasn't that invested. The fact that it's a prequel and I already knew what happened to John didn't help either, but the actual gameplay is sluggish and definitely designed for graphics obsessed console players.

It takes like a full second to do a 180 because it's a quote cinematic experience unquote. It leans heavily into realism like how gta 4's cars try to control like real cars. Shooting is... fine if you play with a mouse and keyboard, but the game was designed for console players using controllers, and using bullet time/dead eye all the time. Plus the typical auto aim shit for snapping to target when you pull left trigger.
