I'm halfway through Act 2, and in my experience it's not any more buggy than Act 1. Sometimes the camera breaks during dialogues, there are long pauses during dialogues, there are long pauses during fights, my paladin breaks his oath for reasons I don't quite understand. But this stuff happened in Act 1 as well, so...
Same, but Act 3 definitely has bugs with quest triggers getting in a jumble if you explore haphazardly. Just be sure that you save a bit more often than usual.
Didn't find Act 2 to be that buggy, actually it was kind of nice because companions shut the frick up and you can just play

If you have a giga PC you can brute force performance. Chances are journos have the best hardware so they don't even see a lot of the issues normal players do.
They also probably don't stray too far from the main story path so they don't see when things go to shit during a lot of side content.
Even the main path is full of bugs nd bullshit, like the portal to house of hope not working, or going to fight gortash where mob positioning means enemies will auto-counterspell your casts through the roof/floor but not be on the same level to fight you so you end up in combat with 10+ enemies that literally can't reach you and do nothing but waste huge amounts of time every round.
playtesting that fight just ONCE would've exposed that problem and made them fix it, but they haven't for some reason.
I'm convinced PC legit got a beta version and the "real" release won't happen until PS5's launch and the accompanying patch.

The worst of all was the game balance, BotW was already a broken game with damage sponge enemies and linear armor that made everything either kill you in 1 hit or deal 0 damage per hit. Now you kill everything in 1 hit and take zero damage per hit AND get an item that stuns all enemies in a massive aoe for 20 seconds AND gives you free repeateded backstabs on them which is a fricking joke

Respec Karlach with 14 DEX, 17 STR, decent CON. Karlach as Berserker Barbarian, grab Tavern Brawler and get 18 STR. Grab the throwing bonus ring. Toss goblins every turn you can, don't bother swinging your weapon, just throw things. After Barbarian 5, get Fighter 2 for action surge.
She can kill upwards of 5-6 goblins a turn on her own. Add in aoe damage like Cloud of Dagger, Fireball,. Spirit Guardians.
Make your main character Paladin 2, Bard (Swords) the rest. Eat ass all day. Lae'zel as Battle Master Fighter + Rogue will devour anything that moves with a decent bow.
Again, stop eating shit and think.

Have an 18 in your main stat by level 4
Use environmental combos and barrelmancy if you’re dealing with large numbers of shit tier enemies. There’s a large amount of gunpowder in the goblin camp that you can easily steal and send to camp, which lets you essentially delete early level encounters if you can prepare for them
Don't do this. It completely trivializes the game. I would just try multiclassing, there are some fun combos to experiment with

Multiclassing is for when you grasp the system and either don’t care about not being optimal, or know how to make something both interesting and good.

Aggroing them an island away helps but ensuring that everyone is out of the blast radius when they die isn't always possible. Plus you have little consistency with hits early game.
Cloud of daggers is the go to.
Chances are they’ll clump around one sacrificial lamb, who can hopefully tank the explosions, so you can hit 3 of them when the spell goes off and then again during their turn, which will either kill then outright or have them ready to be pushed away and one shotted.

Yea, I miss Shadowrun too, the series had potential. What I liked is the ability to use implants and hacking for (semi)peaceful infiltration and quest solving. In cyberpunk world with all the surveillance and sensors violence should be the hardest way to play. Cyberpunk games should be about stealth. Basically Invisible Inc with deeper RPG mechanics

Less combine the elements more 5E. The game does have a hardcore DOS2 core but the magic is different and less featured for more dialogue choices and melee.
Bg3 has shitty dnd concentration mechanic which sucks all the fun from spellcasting. In Dos games basically every fight started with casting rain and then it quickly went downhill with barrel and poison explosions with everyone pronned and stunned to death being burnt poisoned frozen and electrocuted in steam clouds. Im Bg3 me spam my fire bolt and eldritch blast all day with maybe a fireball when I feel greedy and my concentration goes to twinned spell haste
