People choose to live for much worse reasons, anon. There's no shame in sticking it out for something harmless that makes you happy. That's the whole point of living
It was fine. Because whether or not a game exists or doesn't doesn't matter. There are 1000's of other games to play. I've been playing lots of Magic the Gathering and Warhammer for example, at my local game store, and forgot about Dragons Dogma 2 even being announced due to my engagement with other games. I also had a smoothie. From Smoothie King.
>I've been playing lots of Magic the Gathering and Warhammer >at my local game store >I also had a smoothie. From Smoothie King.
it really is true that only extreme weirdos and actual autists still like videogames.
And no, that doesn't mean "there are 1000s of other games to play", it means your standards are so warped by your immense autism that you are fine with playing games that would make a child bored. You are a walking enigma stuck in your own dead, childlike world. Much like weebs and pretend-boomers (the ones who play 20year old games on repeat because their brains are fried by addiction and mental disorders)
I've known it was being made since early 2019 so the confirmation wasn't a big surprise, it was just nice vindication for all the people who doubted me
I have no connection to the industry. just before dmc5 came out itsuno gave an interview where he said he wanted to make either dmc5 or dd2 so he went and pitched them to the head of capcom who told him to do whatever he wanted. then itsuno said he still had ideas for dd2 and he needs something to work on now that dmc5 is complete and then he grinned. it'd be one thing if dmc5 flopped, but it didn't, so there was no reason to doubt he'd make dd2 next. then the capcom and nvidia leaks both cemented it, yet still naysayers remained
>naysayers remained
because for half a decade people prefaced every video games conference and show with THIS TIME YES THIS TIME FOR SURE DD2 IS GETTING ANNOUNCED and then it didn't until almost everyone was so skeptical that it wasn't going to be announced and now you're talking as if no one believed that DD2 was coming when everyone knew since the Capcom ransom leak was proven true by RE8 but they really just wanted the people trying to be the broken clock that was right to be wrong again
i don't get the hype of dragons dogma, i played it almost to completion but dropped it before the end. it feels unfinished, empty, and dull. the world looks like a lifeless garry's mod map. the combat is alright but theres nothing to it once you've done your big epic sword slash or magic explosion a few times.
beyond the weird troony dress up with pawns, what is there thats so special about this game?
I'm tired of explaining it so to make it short; it's like 1/4 of a really amazing game. Bitterblack isle is something else entirely and works a bit better.
You’re the guy who reads every negative aspect of a game on Ganker first, try’s it anyway to see how shit it is, and then agrees with yourself that it is shit. I don’t believe you actually like video games or can have fun playing them anymore. You’ll never be pleased with what you have, you’ll never be happy discovering a secret. You’ll just play along with a guide on gamefaqs then whine that you used a guide and spoiled it for yourself.
It's only 10 seconds. You have to save it for opportune moments, like when an enemy is staggered or knocked down. Augments can help you withstand attacks while you're charging.
Seriously. Warrior should be shown actively tanking blows by successfully blocking shit with his sword or hammer then be able to release that charged up super when they like.
That class seems so much undercooked then the others.
>Warrior should be shown actively tanking blows by successfully blocking shit with his sword or hammer then be able to release that charged up super when they like.
literally arc of vengeance
How does showing your character standing all getting punched in the face for a minute equate to "actively tanking blows by successfully blocking shit with his sword or hammer"? I'm talking about perfect block animations like the fighter, assassin and mystic knight have with their shield.
>I'm talking about perfect block animations like the fighter, assassin and mystic knight have with their shield.
you can simulate this as well with knockdowns. the tackle on the exodus slash combo throws nigs and comes right after your only source of i-frames.

I-frames aren't perfect blocks. Warriors were gyped. Need an upgrade for the sequel.

no it's a trade you mong. fighters don't get the frick huge weapons, we don't get a block. what kind of whimp needs a shield anyway? exodus dance is much more fun and manly.

You don't block with a sword? And not even a giant anime Guts sword that you see him using to block in ever fight he gets into? The frick's wrong with you?
They already have not!fighter moves. I'm 200% all for Warriors getting more things to do and improvements, but I'd rather they're not made even more like Fighters and instead have their own shit. They don't need "your sword also works just like shields"
Nah, that's the whole draw of the move. "Your motherfricking life ends 30 minutes from now."
Give them an alternative sure, but the strongest single attack they have absolutely needs to be an unreasonably long charge followed by an ungodly strong slam
>Give them an alternative sure, but the strongest single attack they have absolutely needs to be an unreasonably long charge followed by an ungodly strong slam
That's fine in theory, but not in the context of the other vocations with similar deletion moves. A long charge during which you're exposed only has value if it's better than anything else you could do during that time, but it isn't. Other vocations can and will easily deal much more damage in the same window. Sorcerers work off the same concept, but at least they warp the universe into an all-consuming hellscape afterwards as opposed to just having a single, easily whiffable swing.
Warriors needed to either charge much faster, be more mobile during the charge, or have some reliability feature on their swings.
Due to the way damage calculation works, hitting 10 times for 1,000 damage is not the same as hitting once for 10,000. And there are only two moves with comparable or better single hit damage than arc of obliteration; great gamle and great sacrifice. Now great gamble is way better than both since you can just eat a mushroom and be fine. But sacrificing a pawn is definitely a lot higher commitment than an arc charge. So it's the second best of the three moves that do that sort of damage.
The only thing underpowered about it is that it will be one of only three skills you have available instead of six like all the other vocations.
i bought dragon's dogma for the 7th time (digital version for ps4/ps5). i did a normal run then once i hit post game, i got the asura armor and used the barrel glitch to get the ring of perseverance from BBI
Didn't really love playing mystic knight until I realized how easy it is to absolutely bully eliminators. If this fails you can always pop ruinous sigil and they get launched.
I like theidea of a spellsword but the actual gameplay of trying to hang arounda great cannon and bait the enemy into walking into it and then attacking me so I could parry was not even remotely fun. Maybe its better when you don't have pawns and the AI is easier to manipulate.
Holy Retribution is alright since it doesn't completely drain your stamina. You can use it then spam Stone Jungle to rape giant enemies that are weak to holy.
Ideally Warrior would have guard points on like half his attacks, including the heavy normal
that would be both cool as shit and different from all the other vocations
warrior does get augments that boost their defenses and knockback resistance during charge moves. you guys are just misunderstanding the vocation. you're not a damage dealer, you're crowd control. the massive slams are just a sick bonus.
I've done three full playthroughs as warrior including one with no non-warrior pawns
It's a fun vocation in part because of its limitations but it's absolutely missing something compared to all the others, more than just 3 skill slots.
like what? as much as I'd like 3 more slots even just 3 makes you nigh unkillable if you know your shit. not having a block is the trade for our stagger/knockdowns.
What would you actually do with 6 skills? Don't get me wrong, there's no reason he should be limited to 3, but it's not like he'd really get that much out of 3 more.
But every other class in the game has multiple things they can do, and do well. Fighter gets sword skills and shield skills and perfect blocks, Sorc gets buffs, quick small spells/focused bolt and big slow spells despite only having one staff, and obviously the yellow/hybrid classes get combinations of stuff.
In terms of stuff Warrior does better than anyone else, he's kind of only got "basic attacks are good." Being decent at knockdown/stagger based CC is basically his saving grace but he's still not better at CC than most of the other classes if they build for it, is much worse at damage, has fewer options, and the options he does have are generally weaker than comparable ones from other classes.
He's still a lot of fun, because it's interesting to get so much use out of basic attacks and the charged hits are really satisfying, and after you've played the game enough times there's really not much difficulty left to make discussing the strength of options particularly important anyway, but Warrior is still working with a toolbelt half the size other the others not just because he's got half as many slots but because he can only do half as many things.
Stuff like War Cry, Savage Lunge and Catapult Blade should've been a second set of skills - anything that either didn't use the weapon, or didn't attack enemies.
>but he's still not better at CC than most of the other classes if they build for it
name a single build that will stun a group of eliminators like ecliptic slash spam.

A single cast of Maelstrom wins that whole fight on its own
too bad stagger/knockdown is pretty much useless vs big monsters and any BBI monster, I remember using augments and nails to improve my stagger and still struggling with black goblins
>finally kill the dragon in DDDA >the "post game" changes a lot of enemies in the world, but there are literally no new quests to do besides escort trash >the main quest is just grindind out wakestones from more recycled monsters in rooms that all look the same
Is Bitterblack Isle better at least? Considering taking a break or just dropping the game after I beat the story.
> NG+
i have over 600 hours in dragon's dogma and have never for even a minute touched NG+, if that's any indicator of how little it has to offer or should ever be given consideration
nah I actually liked the city v2. I never ended up mobbed and my mages did their job on the armors. can imagine it would get annoying for those who grind it but I'm not about that anyway.
There are 2 set of enemies post Daimon.one is eliminators+2 drake+3 living armor another is living armors+1 super drake+ 3 eliminatos. pre Daimon is a bunch of fallen pawns, imo this one is harder...

The pawns can one shot you, sure, but the living armors and wyvern casting is a FRICKING annoying combination.
banwagoning newbie here
i had been playing as a fighter for a little while, so I decided to switch it up and play as a sorcerer
then a griffin got dropped on top of me and uh
>try one anon's checkpoint save reload to see if it does let you reroll cursed items even though I know it wouldn't due to seed >doesn't work as I expected
At this point I just want to mitigate the RC costs rather than the RNG itself.
>20 hours in >level 31 >haven't gotten hired once
is this how it usually goes or am i just shit out of luck?
personally i've hired a frick load of pawns already, gave their gifts and reviews some thought too
Your pawn is in a sea of every other players' pawns that ever played the game. Even when I search for pawns Anons post I have to refresh the list like 20-50 times just to find them.
https://www.4gamer.net/games/131/G013151/20120706059/
dev interview, about 2/3 of the way in
google translated: >Mr. Ituno: As you may know, up to 100 items can be displayed in the in-game pawn search. The order of those 100 cases is the order of new arrivals at the update time. It is a so-called bulletin board thread, which is close to the image displayed in the order of writing. >In other words, the more often you stay at an inn, the easier it is to get caught in a search. Assalamu's liking may increase considerably (laughs).
>figured this out a while ago >still didn't get a lot of rests in throughout my playthrough
Problem for me is I would always rest in bursts where the bumps didn't matter. Fricking Mountebank and his forge time.
I got like one hire during an entire base game playthrough, there are just too many low level pawns and no one cares about their quality. It also doesn't help that anons don't understand that they have to repost their shit once they gained levels and rested because I sometimes have to check a few levels higher than what is posted to hire someone, and it's fricking annoying if you have to do this dozens of times per level.
Post it! I'll take it tonight and go on some adventures.
Haven't rested at an inn though since i've been exploring western gran area
girl, the red leather cap is ugly as hell, but it does the job, also yes she's set to everyone. If you cant find her, I did ding 42 just now and did sleep at an inn so that might be the issue
>Do you have your pawn access set to everyone?
I'm not that anon but i never saw this, maybe that's why no one hired mine in 20 hours, even it's a cute and funny one.
seem to be using her. Weirdly enough strider seems to be a low find on pawns, yet seems to be the best in my opinion unless you got a sorc who shits damage out

First thing I do on any playthough is grab Mummer's Wear from Bloodwater Beach. Every other pawn looks like a begger or DLCgay until level 30, so it means easy hires.
You could but his parents would still die and he'll blame you for it, better to cuck his father by fricking his mother and saving her while adopting the little ungrateful bastard.
My fighter pawn hasn't really gotten hired so I doubt it. I would assume people want yellow vocations or maybe mage, but if I'm going blue it's two sorc spell sync.
back in PC release I rolled a modestly dressed mage e-girl pawn and plenty of summons, I remember using inclination elixirs regularly before the everfall.
Community is full blown coom mode now, all I see in these threads are panty pawns
Just the great mod compilation which has better face textures. I think cleaner female body texture is probably better but you can't use both so i keep the former.
not e-girl pawn but >rolled with mage/sorc pawn for 40 hours, made sure to get all good augments and good equipment zero hires >switched her for fighter, bad stat growth with mediocre equipment >get 3+ hires a day
You know I've seen this idea enough times that what I really want to see is some iteration on it
Pawns that look like Rook but: >Are named "Knight" and dressed like the Vocation change Fighter >Named "Queen," female, and look very regal and are a Sorcerer >"Pawn" and are tiny with shorter hair/no beard
Or some other silly ideas like that
God if you could make more than one pawn at a time I would go nuts and just upload a billion
If you create an alt Steam account then family share with it you can have multiple pawns. You could even level them up pretty fast if you wanted to with the dinput8 mod.
>God if you could make more than one pawn at a time I would go nuts and just upload a billion
This, I want to make an army and a party of only my pawns.
I was going to do this starting with King, but that's going to be on NG++ or something if I do it since I haven't even gone to NG+ to slap on hard mode. BBI will not let me go.
>your hopes and wishes for DD2 that WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
I don't like being restricted to one class/playstyle and never enjoying the most each class due to how leveling work. I wish in DD2 we will have multiple MCs, each one focused on a single class and playstyle. They can all be pawns and you are making an army to fight the dragon, I don't care. Just create variety by restricting. Make me play every style if I want to unlock and see everything.
Just found out that saving of any kind after a pawn death will send the 3star rating.
I thought that if I jumped into the rift and grabbed them back, it wouldn’t. But you save when you go in the rift.
At least the 5stars, cool gifts, and free gear I give all the little lowbie school kids I’ve been taking on a tour of BBI might offset the 3s they’ve been getting from uncle death or daikon’s great succ.
So I guess if you really wanna avoid a three star, you gotta godsbane or an hero.
Riftstones heal and make a checkpoint save. Dip in even if you aren't planning to swap out pawns. This is also why BBI makes repairing them a mechanic.
>Strider over ranger
They are both great, you get tenfold with ranger and brains splitter with strider so just pick your poison >Mage vs Sorc
Both have access to the strongest magical attack, which is Holy Pact + holding down light attack for the holy seeker bolts.
Yeah MK isn't really meant to be using staves as much as the shield, especially since you can get BBI armor that enhances the skills on said shield.
>Strider over Ranger
Yeah Strider is better >Mage over Sorcerer
Halidom, Spellscreen, and Anodyne
[...] >Both have access to the strongest magical attack, which is Holy Pact + holding down light attack for the holy seeker bolts.
Yeah but Sorcerer is still better for that since Archistaves have higher magic
Yeah but at higher levels with full dragon forged gear and demons periapt the difference isn't that noticable
>Yeah MK isn't really meant to be using staves as much as the shield, especially since you can get BBI armor that enhances the skills on said shield.
I figured. I had to test it anyway to see if it was a decent range option, and i just feel like it isn't. I'm back to the stage of just wishing MK had more than sopor. At the very least I will always carry a staff since swapping off to levitate for a few seconds is worth the weight.
Strider wrecks shit in melee if you're into that. Mage is pretty much just a pawn vocation, you shouldn't really ever use it on your MC unless you just need some augments and then I'd argue you should just wait until post-game where you can grind vocation XP without getting levels.
>Strider over Ranger
Yeah Strider is better >Mage over Sorcerer
Halidom, Spellscreen, and Anodyne

Ranger has shit dagger skills and good bow skills, Strider has the best dagger skills and good bow skills.
Ranger is only good for blast arrow or gamble cheese while Strider blows the frick out of every other vocation besides Assassin in terms of damage output, and it's probably better than Assassin when you get skill bands.
If there was a Tenfold Flurry skill band or Ranger equivalent of Cloudburst Volley then Ranger would probably be decent. As it stands it's probably the third worst vocation after mage and warrior.
Remember raw attack isn't the only thing worth having. High stamina is extremely useful for pawns because spamming skills is how they do most of their damage.
Yeah it can be frustrating since people don't know that sleeping updates it. But I still have to search a bunch to find a pawn even if I have the level right.
A big thanks to the anon who hired her for 30k? worth of rift points and the anon who dropped the staff. If anyone want to hire my pawn on PC here's the basic info >Rosina >Healbawd lv 60 >Medicant / Utilitarian >Acuity, Articulacy, Attunement, Beatitude, Conservation, Emphasis
Your pawn is not even in the 48 range, please post her actual level.
She is small and cute dude!
Well she's still level 48 I'm still at the rift finding other anon's pawn you just need to sift to pawns I think but I'll try sleeping in the in for you
how else would you explain it? i think when a pawn gets hired they get lower priority and are harder to find in order to make un-hired pawns higher priority and more visible for hiring

its basically first come first serve type of deal i reckon so you need to be fast when hiring anons pawns before someone else does
>medicant above utilitarian
medicant should never be in the 2 first personalities, it can stop her from doing more worthwhile action. You don't need to be healed as soon as you get damaged.
scather/challenger.
You want utilitarian somewhere in the 2 (or at least 3) firsts once your bestiary knowledge is high enough so he works with your other pawn's strategies.
>not giving his warrior pawn scather and mendicant, then filling their inventory with tagilus’ and conqueror’s periapts and removing all their skills for maximum jump attack slaughter

No es la primera vez que juego DD, ya lo habia jugado en PS3 hace años. No lo voy a negar que el juego a veces te hace consultar la wikia, pero jugar en español (voces en japonès) no me ha dificultado la busqueda de nada
I'm hoping we get more cosmetic customisation when it comes to gear. Things like colours, being able to hide hoods/face coverings and maybe things like patterns or material skins too
Opening/closing robes, putting on hoods, etc. There's already some degree of modularity with equipment when you wear gear that would clip (trophy jacket's sleeves disappearing when you put on certain arm armor, for instance) so it'd just be a question of making those toggleable.
One of the reasons I think Grigori is endeared to players is entirely intentional I think. Greg (and we can assume all Dragons, not including lesser ones) are mostly like mindless beasts until they find and create an arisen. Grigori's eyes are blank until our Arisen tries to harm him, then his eyes gain pupils and he gains consciousness. At this point Grigori doesn't really need to cause excessive colatteral damage, since his only purpose is trying to get the Arisen to face him. He might do it, but only for the purpose of getting the Arisen to fight him. Grigori doesn't hold an ounce of malice in his heart. The worst thing he might do is end your beloved's life, but ultimately that's the choice the Arisen makes. Though I guess it's tough shit for the Beloved.
He intervenes by helping to destroy Salvation because Salvation make themself a nuisance for Gransys and the Arisen, from Grigori's point of view it's delaying both his and the Arisen's role. But here's the rub, Grigori could have just as easily tried burning down Gran Soren to become a more pressing issue for the Arisen but instead he helps you out by ending the rantings of an upjumped Zealot so that you and he can get The Final Battle.
Basically Dragons really are mindless monsters until they get an Arisen, after that point it's really up to the Dragon whether he wants to be a piece of shit or not, or relatively honourable like Grigori is. I'm curious what the character of DD2's dragon will be. Will he be the same? Will he be a complete shithead? (will he even be a he?).
We've got accounts of wider devestation caused by Dragons, apparently the area west of the Greatwall is a waste because of a Dragon attack. Which makes me wonder if that was the Dragon trying to goad an arisen into facing him or if it was just trying to destroy things until it awakened along with an Arisen.
I think they'd be smart to have the dragon in DD2 act in a way that contrasts Grigori, both to help it stand apart and to emphasize that dragons have a degree of freedom in their role. Grigori's brief but memorable appearances, honorable dealings and earnest desire to see you excel and defeat him were his own choices. A new dragon might taunt you constantly, be smarmy and needlessly cruel, but a sore loser who lashes out when it seems they'll lose. Bonus points if the Arisen's Bond in 2 is something you gift to a community and not a person (the Dragonforged implies it appearing as a ring is something particular to you, and that it can appear as something else depending on what the Arisen holds dearest), giving the dragon a reason to threaten scorching an entire town/city/group. And then they'll have a good reason for not wanting you to succeed, like the Seneschel being even worse or something.
The key art dragon having a multicolor crown implies to me at least they've already thought of an interesting and Greg-separate role for the dragon this time around.
The key art dragon having a multicolor crown implies to me at least they've already thought of an interesting and Greg-separate role for the dragon this time around.
Something seems more sinister about the new dragon logo to me, maybe its the long whip tail and the crown. It gives me 'better to rule in Hell, than serve in heaven' vibes. Which is apropos consindering the Seneschal really is just a servant for the world (even the title 'seneschal' means you're a servant of something greater than yourself).
Could be the dragon of DD2 was an Arisen who wants to game the system by abusing his position as Dragon to rule over the world. We've already seen Daimon rules lawyer some shit with his deal with the Dragon where his desire was to break the Eternal Ring... what if there was an arisen with great ambition who could make himself Overlord of the mortal world by being a giant firebreathing lizard? All he would have to do is lose in a fight to the Seneschal deliberately. It would also make him trying to frick with a settlement ingame make more sense, as far as he's concerned all the towns are his property ultimately and he can do what he wants with them.
They could very easily intertwine something like that into the king/duke/queen/whatever being subservient to the dragon and aware of the cycle, leading to an overworld conflict between the player character outside of the actual dragon-arisen conflict that spurs the game forward since showing your hand on the dragon too early could make the midgame feel dull and uninteresting.
But yes, agreed, the new logo looks very grim in comparison to Greg's logo. Dunno if it's intentional or just a modern update for the style.
Yeah, honestly though, I don't know how much emphasis is going to be put on the story. I thing the original was mainly accidentally cool, and it's not like Capcom is well known for their writing, lol.
>Grigori's brief but memorable appearances, honorable dealings and earnest desire to see you excel and defeat him were his own choices.
no that's literally the dragon's dogma.
>lmao even
Either way one cannot disprove the other. It's literally non-canon because it is not possible for each creature we killed, each person that left Gransys or died to reincarnate exactly as it was with the way the game world and lore works.
Savan only THINKS the cycle is unending, because he never even thought or had the will to end things himself. The hints are in the game itself, you're not explicitly told to use the Godsbane on your self, on your questlog or anything like that. If you had a DSP IQ you'd think the end of the game really is just chilling as a ghost in Gransys or sitting in the throne all day.
If you want to take that route for your headcanon that's fine. The epilogue does imply it. The problem is everything else about the ending from the dialogue to the choices to cycle 2 says the opposite. I'm just glad my homie Itsuno will have proper time and funding this time.
I started a new run of DD even though I just played it a few months ago and I have a bunch of other games I got during the Steam sale and that I'm emulating.

I’m on a quest to find the last few lvl3 weapons and am able to do it with just my pawn, but enjoy giving anons pawn knowledge and any spare BBI gear/novelties/armour I find.
Just did symone's quest and got the gold idol so gave it to madison... I could have forged it and hand it to both her and the weaponsmaster guy, right? game just autosaved after handing it in
I'm not sure but I think the forgery completes it but doesn't give the rewards. The real frickup is that you could have kept it for a permanent discount from shops.

Money should literally never be an issue once you start doing bbi.
Forged idols don't give you the merchant's store upgrade. Both forged and real idols give you the discount though I'm not sure if they have to be in your inventory to count, I have mine and the badge of merit in my pawn's.
forged idol is only good for keeping it in your inventory for shop discounts but gold is plentyful anyway
the best outcome is forging the gold idol, giving the gold idol to one of the merchants, giving the silver idol to the other and keeping the fake gold idol for the discount, but you could just forge the silver for a neven lesser discount then
well good to know I didn't frick up completly then, will do that in NG+
Also the idol inventory merchants get can be found elsewhere in the game. You won't lose out really, especially as beating the game gives you better gear than anything they provide anyway.

I actually posted a thread b***hing about melee in BBI and the response I got was that you're always gonna do shit damage without items. So pull those periapts outta storage boyo.

It's been a very long time since I played the save but I didn't have any issues on PS3 when I went into BBI as a ranger/assassin. I never use periapts either, though I did whip out the blast arrows
>you're always gonna do shit damage without items
That's not true. Even on a character with 500 something core attack I was able to brainsplitter through the place without much difficulty and without using periapts.

Hmm, I'm in post-Grigori. The overworld Thunderwyrm and others are simple enough to kill. I tried fighting a cursed dragon, but ended up spending like 30 minutes chipping away before he one-shot me.
Killing a dragon. Regular ones have a very low chance. Grigori will insta dragonforge your equipped gear. The dragon that hangs around the priest boss in BBI has a 75% chance to dragonforge a random piece of equipment
Dragon Priest is near the end of BBI, no?

Yeah dark bishop is late into bbi. Just ng+ and rush the main quest and kill grigori again. With your grigori gear it shouldnt take but max 2 hours especially if you placed crystals in main quest locations.

In theory it sounds easier to kill a Thunderwyrm and pray. I killed one of those on my return to Gran Soren after Greg.
you can do the drakes in gransys but they take 7 days to respawn a piece where you can just do the cursed dragon back to back. that said just do it how you have fun. I bet you could nuke a cursed dragon, I even find them easier than (giga)drakes. you do you though. all the paths work.
I can absolutely not nuke a Cursed Dragon. My sorc pawn's Grand Gicel hardly tuckles it, and so does my sword. I spent 20 minutes trying.

30% resistance. what is your damage stat at with the sword in hand?

My damage stat is like 1.1k. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm hitting it in the heart.

well the damage is flat reduction so his 850 defense is taken out of your 1.1k damage. you should still be chipping at him with that tho.

Yeah, but he has like 11 health bars. It takes me like five minutes to deplete one. My pawns hardly scratch him either.

he has slight resistance to both ice and lightning as well as 690 MD. still sounds like your pawn needs some upgrades as well.

Protip; easiest way to get dragonforged gear is to speed run the main game, but not in speed run mode.
You can happily just skip a bunch of shit like the goblin fortress by killing the commander and “report your failure” and then with clever placement of port crystals just jump from place to place.
Only thing I’d advise is to keep a copy of the wyrmring so you can Insta complete that quest.
Then you can makers finger grigori, or fight him and kill him with whatever class you want to get full dragonforged gear. Then just visit uncle barroch to rarify if you have the materials.

You can also glitch in really early bbi to get the second best short bow in the game

said. It's annoying as frick but it gives you 200k and after that you get them instantly in new game plus when you get to gran soren. Other than that farming the entire BBI gives good rc too. I tend to get more than 200k from an entire run.
iirc if you did all these quests in one playtrhough, then in the ng+ you can instantly complete them by picking the badges from your inventory at the inn
Playing for the first time and it has been pretty enjoyable so far. So many cool little things and details. No-one has hired my pawn yet though. Does anyone wanna take her for a spin? Playing on Steam.
How it works is that you have a set order to what you’ll get. If you say, purify 10 items as red, and get bitter end first, then even if you switched to blue and got a staff and shit, next time you purify a bunch of level 3 shit as red, you’ll still get bitter end.
According to the wiki it advances the item you get for each vocation whenever you purify an item, but maybe my list just had 3 maces in a row like 3 times in a row, cos I switched vocations in order to try to skip the maces, and I still got 3 maces in a fricking row when I switched back to red after doing six as yellow.
If you have weapon 1 that purifies to a bitter end and weapon 2 that purifies to a devilsbane as reds but then switch to blues and purify weapon 1 as something else then the list will have moved to weapon 2. So if you then purify weapon 2 as reds it would be the devilsbane, not the bitter end.
Right. That’s how I thought it worked, cos it says so on the wiki, but then green text happened, so figured I was wrong. perhaps I just had terrible luck though.
>be me >purify 5 items as red, >get mace mace mace shield sword. >reload and switch to blue >purify all of them and switch back >get three more bbi3 weapons >get three maces.
>also your pawns class also effects what you get so have both you and your pawn be the color shit you want.
This fricking true?!? Does only your pawn affect it or the pawns of the other players that you summond do it to (it would be unlogical but I will still ask), also what if my pawn is absent? I fricked up big time
I just purified 6 bbi3s, put both me and my pawn on yellow and got 3 MA bows, 2 longbows, the daggers I wanted, and not the fricking short bow.
I had previously tried those same items as red before godsbaning, and they were all shields, maces, and one handed swords. Sucks that I know I have to churn through that crap before I can find devils nail.
As far as I have seen, the list of shit you’ll get is set, and you will always get the items you get (depending on your colour at the time) in a set order. Makes doing bbi3 runs a real chore.
Wow haha wouldn't it be fun if randomly sometimes you're fighting a ghost just spawns and permakills your pawns forcing you to liftstone back to a riftstone haha wouldnt that be cool ????????? lol lmao
I was very happy when it was announced, although I went to visit my mom afterwards so I couldn't play the original even though I was itching to. Did so when I got back and beat the main story for the first time. Kinda fricked up the post game for myself though. Next time I pick it up I'm doing BBI
3 vs 6 skills aside, I do think it would be good/cool if, in dd2, warrior could block but only as a perfect block. And without anything making that trivially easy like the mystic knight buffs.
I'm using some nice looking grey/blue cloth sleeveless armor and metal vambraces that show the insides of my forearms so and biceps I can perve on my arisen's armpits. Just seems like a waste I'm getting all these items from purification I don't want to use coz they looks like deviantart OC.
HOL UP
If >defeat the seneschal -> become the seneschal >lose to the seneschal -> become the dragon >getting to the seneschal requires killing the dragon
Where does the new dragon come from to continue the cycle, if the arisen kills both the dragon and the old seneschal?
probably just respawn grigs until someone can take his place just like the seneschal will continue his role if you tell him to frick off. some say you might elevate a drake but those guys failed against their dragon so they're not good enough.
mmhh.. might be
other thing i dont get clearly is why the dragonforged is still there, is he just like barroch?
Anonymous
he actually lost to his dragon but not through lack of will. he's "dragonforged" because his spear broke so he tried to beat grigori to death with his bare hands and they got destroyed which ruined his chance at fighting more. makes me think the drakes just got mindbroken in their fights.

He also got more dialogue if you go see him right before Grigori.

the specifics are almost headcanon. him being burned by the dragon he says himself and only his hands are charred.
Anonymous
He is weird. He is some sort of ghost, because no one else sees him, yet he ages and will instantly die when player character gets their heart back. Unless the aging you get from being an arisen is actually not stopped but extremely slowed, I can't really figure him out.
Anonymous
I don't think he's a ghost. Olra has a very similar line and implies she was using magic to project herself in a way only Arisen can see. Aside from his initial line everything indicates he's still very much alive
2 years ago
Anonymous
Olra died though >"I…I died once. Here, in this place. It was scarce a fortnight after I was first lured in. Each day brought new losses. My pawn was slain, then gradually my store of curatives dwindled. I was surrounded, body battered and broken by dark and powerful magicks. As death approached, I lifted my gaze to see the stars one final time. Yet it was not death that engulfed me then, but a strange light, far brighter than any fire of the empyrean. …past that, my memory fails."

But her current body is physical, no? She still had to project a "ghost" that only arisen can see, separate from her actual pawn

the aging sounds like the duke, but why nobody else see him idk
I was actually just thinking about this and, what about the lesser dragons? Drakes, wyverns, and wyrms are seemingly red, yellow, and blue vocation arisen respectively. But how did they get turned into them? I doubt it was by losing to the seneschal or else they'd be like grigori. Is that what happens when an arisen dies to their dragon? In any case, I wonder if, after an arisen is made the new seneschal, they elevate one of those dragons to take the place of the one they defeated?
But then there would be too many dragons. Grigori alone has been a dragon for thousand of years, Savan has been the Seneschal for a lot more. I know dragons get teleported to different worlds and realities, but considering the thousands and thousands of dead Arisens who became dragons, where are they all?
this is probably what DD2 will be about >DD1 kills himself as seneshal >cycle is broken >world is in chaos >DD2 arisen is on a quest to become seneshal without a dragon or a cycle
You don't break the cycle in 1. In NG+ when you beat the game again your previous character is still the seneschal and can show up for other people in online mode
we're talking about inuniverse
there's no NG+ inuniverse
the game ends officially after your pawn becomes you >there's no seneshal anymore >grand soren still has a hole in middle of it >the duke is ded
We break our cycle. Its multiversal cycles and chains but our specific world is broken from the chain. The seneschal guides and directs all life to fulfill the purpose of the chain. Savan didn't release himself and was happy to finally be freed by us. He could have done it himself but chose to keep ruling.
nta but the epilogue text certainly implies that. it's just that everything else about the ending from the dialogue to the next cycles says that's bullshit.
Anonymous
The epilogue doesn't say anything about cutting ties with the rift, it literally just says: >You killed yourself and you are happy >Your pawn wakes at the beach, ready to learn how to live
I'm using logic. The cycles need a seneschal to guide and create.
Anonymous
You are doing a headcanon, all evidence points that the MC becomes Seneschal and stays in position, the godsbane thing is just your true way of starting the job.
The cycle is all about will and volition.
Savan wasn't freed until we came along, because he didn't have the will to end things himself. Only us as the Arisen had the volition to use the Godsbane on ourselves and end things.
The cycle is naught but a metaphor for Dragon's Dogma being a videogame as a whole. "The delightful and ever-novel pleasure of a useless occupation."
We keep the world turning with each step, with each press of a button. Using the Godsbane on ourselves is acknowledging the end of the game, finally "ending" things.
>Using the Godsbane on ourselves is acknowledging the end of the game, finally "ending" things.
No, it's us restarting the cycle. That's why NG+ restarts the game on load and your arisen is added to the seneschal pool.
Anonymous
NG+ isn't canon. You get a random Arisen while offline, and having your Arisen is just an offline mode failsafe. Besides, it can be argued that it's all part of the metaphor, you deliberately chose to continue playing the game past the proper end, so your Arisen awaits you there.
>because he didn't have the will to end things himself
That wasn't just about will. Ending himself before finding a new seneschal would frick things up for the world massively
It wouldn't. We do the same thing after we take over the role, and the world is fine. It's the willpower of the Seneschal that kept the world running to that point, but after our role is done with, it's the denizens of that world, our pawn at end of the game and the other characters, that take over.

No because other people can get your arisen. >Besides, it can be argued that it's all part of the metaphor, you deliberately chose to continue playing the game past the proper end, so your Arisen awaits you there.
maybe if you're a pseud. savan clearly spells out the cycle is unending.
Anonymous
>lmao even
Either way one cannot disprove the other.
If you had a DSP IQ you'd think the end of the game really is just chilling as a ghost in Gransys or sitting in the throne all day.
>because he didn't have the will to end things himself
That wasn't just about will. Ending himself before finding a new seneschal would frick things up for the world massively
>Where does the new dragon come from to continue the cycle, if the arisen kills both the dragon and the old seneschal?
The dragon probably just comes back as a mindless animal, like it was before Grigori 'woke up'.
From another world
Grigori is not from the same world as yours, otherwise you'd hear tales of another Arisen before you like with the dragonforged and the Duke (if he didn't lie).
Its ambiguous if Savan is even from your same world, or the dragon he fought. What another anon said about respawning might also be true, as the dragon Savan fights is also voiced by David Lodge; as opposed to Grette which is voiced by a woman, someone else.
That is the supposed "dragon paradox" that many players have wondered about for a decade now. It has a very simple explanation.
The Seneschal has the power to create life. He most likely can just create a new Dragon on a whim.
that mean you ended the cycle of eternal return
this is probably what DD2 will be about >DD1 kills himself as seneshal >cycle is broken >world is in chaos >DD2 arisen is on a quest to become seneshal without a dragon or a cycle
we're talking about inuniverse
there's no NG+ inuniverse

Savan didn't release himself and was happy to finally be freed by us. He could have done it himself but chose to keep ruling.
You don't break the cycle. Savan literally tells you that there is no end to the endless cycle. When you face the Seneschal he pulls out a Godsbane from his chest, implying that he already stabbed himself with it.
The Seneschal cannot kill himself, that is why he sends out the Dragon in search of an Arisen, because only an Arisen can kill the Seneschal.
When you Godsbane yourself after becoming Seneschal, you start the cycle anew.
Not that anon but you might have just got unlucky. I always reroll the daimon chests when i play solo since i dont get rift crystals from pawn rentals.

With regards to the black cat dlc armor pieces, not the mercedes or julien stuff, they seem to have pretty poor stats even against lower tier armor but very high immunity. How are they when goldforged?
I would, but I’m still wearing the (not fricked) basic starting gear.
I love the dialogue with the chief. It actually changes if you call in at various stages of the game
Anyone know how many pieces of armor there are in the game? I feel like I bought nearly everything from every merchant in the game and I want to know how much more there'd be left so I can fashions dogma.
If you haven’t even finished the game you don’t see everything. Vendors get new shit after story progress. Then there’s BBI...
I have. I just want to know the number available and see how many more are missing. Wouldn't want to forge some good looking low level armor only to later find a piece I don't have yet that also looks good.
I found this while searching for a list of equipment but I didn't validate it.

From Smoothie King.

it really is true that only extreme weirdos and actual autists still like videogames.
And no, that doesn't mean "there are 1000s of other games to play", it means your standards are so warped by your immense autism that you are fine with playing games that would make a child bored. it's saying that if the project is mismanaged the game will be bad no matter how much time they spend developing it
Itsuno doesn't mismanage his projects so I don't know what your point is, homosexual.
Leak gameplay pics or vid clips or gtfo!
You don't have to be an insider to have known the game was coming for years now.
You’ll just play along with a guide on gamefaqs then whine that you used a guide and spoiled it for yourself.
nah none of thats true actually
I forgot it was announced for a couple days
I made a fresh start on DD1 after the announcement.
Got to level 80 and already feel burnt out though.
>I beat the game and feel burnt out
Okay?
Got back into the game. Messing around with Warrior in BBI.
>inb4 Warrior is bad
Watch and learn kids.
man I really hope the second one doesn't make you waddle around for 45 seconds every time you want to use a big move
it's a cannon bro. can't just bust it out willy nilly.
No. I like my ultra violence as a two way street.
They already have not!fighter moves. I'm 200% all for Warriors getting more things to do and improvements, but I'd rather they're not made even more like Fighters and instead have their own shit. They don't need "your sword also works just like shields"
Warrior should allow 6 fricking weapon skills rather than 3 for fricks sake.
The only thing underpowered about it is that it will be one of only three skills you have available instead of six like all the other vocations.
imagine if you could use arc of obliteration with Abyssal Anguish
It is fricking bad, no matter how much you shill it. It is fricking bad.
>t. Strengthlet
Go use your piddly daggers
This is supposed to be the superior A.I?
those aren't pawns
The enemy didn’t miss, the damage was just tanked.

>Daggers get double jumps AND dodge rolls.
It's hard to go back to other melee classes after this.
>he doesn't know how to I-frame and tank with Fighter/Warrior
Oh no no no
It's not about the i-frames, it's about fun. Rolls and double jumps are more dynamic.
double jump maybe, but exodus slash is just a cooler roll.
try perfect blocking with fighter or mystic knight
Bro you gotta como holy and holy with your cannon traps to create chaos.
>this action rpg is like Ikaruga except you play as one of the bosses
Didn't really love playing mystic knight until I realized how easy it is to absolutely bully eliminators. If this fails you can always pop ruinous sigil and they get launched.
Bullying eliminators is the real endgame.
Even warriors can bully eliminators, once you learn to exodus lash them you can easily stagger them back whenever they attack you
damn i only ever used assassin's masterful kill, this looks way more fun
I like theidea of a spellsword but the actual gameplay of trying to hang arounda great cannon and bait the enemy into walking into it and then attacking me so I could parry was not even remotely fun. Maybe its better when you don't have pawns and the AI is easier to manipulate.
The parry moves always seemed to situational to me, so I always went for the enchantment skills and Holy Furor. Holy Furor kinda sux though.
Warrior should have gotten offhand unarmed skills for grappling and wrestling
Stuff like War Cry, Savage Lunge and Catapult Blade should've been a second set of skills - anything that either didn't use the weapon, or didn't attack enemies.
>but he's still not better at CC than most of the other classes if they build for it
name a single build that will stun a group of eliminators like ecliptic slash spam.
A single cast of Maelstrom wins that whole fight on its own
too bad stagger/knockdown is pretty much useless vs big monsters and any BBI monster, I remember using augments and nails to improve my stagger and still struggling with black goblins
I don't know if I would describe it as limited, it just excels at less. But it does excel at what it's made for.
>finally kill the dragon in DDDA
>the "post game" changes a lot of enemies in the world, but there are literally no new quests to do besides escort trash
>the main quest is just grindind out wakestones from more recycled monsters in rooms that all look the same
Is Bitterblack Isle better at least? Considering taking a break or just dropping the game after I beat the story.
BBI is the highlight of the entire game, why are you avoiding it?
heard it's best in NG+
I only just hit level 50
> NG+
i have over 600 hours in dragon's dogma and have never for even a minute touched NG+, if that's any indicator of how little it has to offer or should ever be given consideration
hey frick you the ending is kino
yeah but i just start a new file or shelf the game for another year after seeing it lol
no anon NG+ ending Savan is replaced by your first character if you're offline.
If you’re afraid of being under leveled then farm the offline Ur Dragon in Everfall for wakestones and weapons. Then get your ass in BBI.
define better
This encounter isn't so bad. The one with the living armors later is.
nah I actually liked the city v2. I never ended up mobbed and my mages did their job on the armors. can imagine it would get annoying for those who grind it but I'm not about that anyway.
You can lure the living armor one by one
https://streamable.com/w84d0i
The eliminators in the city get replaced with living armors after killing Daimon's 2nd form.
Same as all the other weeks after I stopped playing DDDA. Release of DD2 is still so far away that I don't really think about it.
Living armors?
and some anon said that ninefold bolt is a weak skill
Theres a reason why half the content shown in this game is from BBI.
BBI is better but it's also copy pasted repeated rooms over and over with more enemy reuse
Bitterblack is messy gameplay wise, but it can be fun if you're wanting a difficulty spike.
You tell me
BBI is literally the same rooms over and over as well, people play it purely for gameplay
pawns
yes
needs fur
banwagoning newbie here
i had been playing as a fighter for a little while, so I decided to switch it up and play as a sorcerer
then a griffin got dropped on top of me and uh
Burnt wings cannot fly!
yeah, felt real good until i got forced to punch a golem to death 10 minutes later
that's what you get for being a nerd
just spam glicel
Let me guess, you used fire?
>try one anon's checkpoint save reload to see if it does let you reroll cursed items even though I know it wouldn't due to seed
>doesn't work as I expected
At this point I just want to mitigate the RC costs rather than the RNG itself.
So just give yourself 5 million RC?
Arguing with analysis-poisoned morons on here who are incapable of appreciating jank kino.
>20 hours in
>level 31
>haven't gotten hired once
is this how it usually goes or am i just shit out of luck?
personally i've hired a frick load of pawns already, gave their gifts and reviews some thought too
I always hire every shota I see.
Do with this information whatever you will.
hire me pls~
true, my original pawn was a cute elf shota and got hired so so much
Dios mio...
For me it's the secret e-girl herder vocation.
Your pawn is in a sea of every other players' pawns that ever played the game. Even when I search for pawns Anons post I have to refresh the list like 20-50 times just to find them.
Your pawn looks like shit, also all pedos should be hanged
every time you sleep at an inn it bumps your pawn to the top of the list as well as updating their level and equipment so try doing that more often.
>every time you sleep at an inn it bumps your pawn to the top of the list
Proofs?
https://www.4gamer.net/games/131/G013151/20120706059/
dev interview, about 2/3 of the way in
google translated:
>Mr.
Assalamu's liking may increase considerably (laughs).
>figured this out a while ago
>still didn't get a lot of rests in throughout my playthrough
Problem for me is I would always rest in bursts where the bumps didn't matter. Fricking Mountebank and his forge time.
Does this mean anyone on the top of the list is the one still playing the game?
I'm 35 hours in and got the same issue with my own pawnit's also a e-girl and even posting it here or the /vg/ topic got her zero invites
Post it.
Haven't rested at an inn though since i've been exploring western gran area
It's useless unless we know the pawn's level when you last rested.
should be 41 as well, I rested then set out exploring, though looking at her exp bar I might hit 42 soon
>might hit 42 soon
Not a problem, your pawn doesn't update in the rift until you rest again.
Do you have your pawn access set to everyone?
Also is your pawn a boy or a girl lol I can't tell.
girl, the red leather cap is ugly as hell, but it does the job, also yes she's set to everyone. If you cant find her, I did ding 42 just now and did sleep at an inn so that might be the issue
Searched 42 and found her.
>Do you have your pawn access set to everyone?
I'm not that anon but i never saw this, maybe that's why no one hired mine in 20 hours, even it's a cute and funny one.
Couldn't find her, and there aren't that many Strider pawns for some reason.
She's level 42 now, both
and
seem to be using her. Weirdly enough strider seems to be a low find on pawns, yet seems to be the best in my opinion unless you got a sorc who shits damage out
Take off the moronic hat and you'll get some hires.
Tried hiring before but she was too low level for the search. Sorry anon.
Head too big looks weird
make a loose shota
Cute shota whats his name and level I wanna hire him
Gib face sliders
>generic e-girl
also in my experience hiring generally picks up around lvl 50+ with decent equipment
First thing I do on any playthough is grab Mummer's Wear from Bloodwater Beach. Every other pawn looks like a begger or DLCgay until level 30, so it means easy hires.
Oh...
Not my problem. I couldn't predict that the Duke was so incompetent he would let half of Gran Soren get destroyed in a world ending event.
You can romance his mother for a different outcome
I suppose you could romance Pip too
Wonder what happens
You could but his parents would still die and he'll blame you for it, better to cuck his father by fricking his mother and saving her while adopting the little ungrateful bastard.
Walking simulator is overrated, DD1 is too little action, too much walking and too slow.
Well, I heard a lot about it here and decided to try out the first one; I'm really enjoying it so far
Stop leaving "Large Nut" on my pawn you fricking disgusting degenerates
Who gonna stop me?
>epilogue
>pawn welcomed by daughterfu as fellow human
>as they walked away, pawn looked at (you) through the screen and nodded
k-kino
>try to find an anon pawn
>see somebody got this name through the filter instead when i've seen a schierke get censored
huh
my pawn called dicky slayie and niggy slayie
someone post a new strider/ranger pawn for me to pick up
gonna send the big orc lass back soon
What level pawn do you want?
oh i totally forgot to include that yeah
I just hit level 54 so anywhere from there to about 60~
oh and I'm on PC jesus christ
>Become Speedrunner
>Reward is a e-girl (Selene) giving you here clothes
This shit writes itself
Meanwhile I'm going to do a hard mode run just to get the Duke's clothes to make a king pawn.
You get the Dukes Clothes for completing the game don't you?
No, they're locked behind Hard Mode specifically. Both speedrun mode and hard mode have unique outfit unlocks.
lmao is everyone rolling with loose e-girl healer pawns now or what?
Try something else if you want hires, fighters are probably in high demand
>lmao is everyone rolling with loose e-girl healer pawns now or what?
But anon, that is all anybody ever rolled with
Then make fighter pawns, what's stopping you?
My fighter pawn hasn't really gotten hired so I doubt it. I would assume people want yellow vocations or maybe mage, but if I'm going blue it's two sorc spell sync.
back in PC release I rolled a modestly dressed mage e-girl pawn and plenty of summons, I remember using inclination elixirs regularly before the everfall.
Community is full blown coom mode now, all I see in these threads are panty pawns
>make a cute healing+ enchanting e-girl with mostly normal gear, but just a hint of lewd like belly showing
>the hires never end
It's that easy
The only e-girl in my party is me
As it should be.
She's very cute.
Just the great mod compilation which has better face textures. I think cleaner female body texture is probably better but you can't use both so i keep the former.
nice, thanks!
>dragon is attacking
>better hide behind this child
Even better, that e-girl protected her from bullies when she was younger.
what mod?
>fighters are probably in high demand
Warriors certainly aren't.
not e-girl pawn but
>rolled with mage/sorc pawn for 40 hours, made sure to get all good augments and good equipment zero hires
>switched her for fighter, bad stat growth with mediocre equipment
>get 3+ hires a day
Started a new game and my pawn was rated 5 stars multiple times and recieved a lot of gifts.
Feels good.
Hire my pawn
>Nice, very nice. Let's see Paul Allen's pawn.
You know I've seen this idea enough times that what I really want to see is some iteration on it
Pawns that look like Rook but:
>Are named "Knight" and dressed like the Vocation change Fighter
>Named "Queen," female, and look very regal and are a Sorcerer
>"Pawn" and are tiny with shorter hair/no beard
Or what if DD2 lets you have pawn wife to impregnate and create your own pawn children army.
Out of all the hundreds of pawns ive seen i think this might be one of the more creative ways to get your pawn hired.
I've seen that pawn
He's level 20 now (rested at the inn)
viewing the hydra vore video once every few days
>1st two weeks
Ive been waiting since 2013
Normal. You know they'll ruin it right?
>your hopes and wishes for DD2 that WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
Make me play every style if I want to unlock and see everything.
also guns
Just found out that saving of any kind after a pawn death will send the 3star rating.
I thought that if I jumped into the rift and grabbed them back, it wouldn’t. But you save when you go in the rift.
At least the 5stars, cool gifts, and free gear I give all the little lowbie school kids I’ve been taking on a tour of BBI might offset the 3s they’ve been getting from uncle death or daikon’s great succ.
So I guess if you really wanna avoid a three star, you gotta godsbane or an hero.
>Just found out that saving of any kind after a pawn death will send the 3star rating.
No, only you sleep
Not him. Thank you I was wondering since I just started spawning them outside the daimon rift when they don't make it past the bridge.
Riftstones heal and make a checkpoint save. Dip in even if you aren't planning to swap out pawns. This is also why BBI makes repairing them a mechanic.
Buffing you party with fire/holy/etc is hard. It never aims at the minion i want. You should have a list with your pawns to make it easier.
Just play MK.
Is there even any reason to use Strider over Ranger or Mage over Sorcerer?
>Strider over ranger
They are both great, you get tenfold with ranger and brains splitter with strider so just pick your poison
>Mage vs Sorc
Both have access to the strongest magical attack, which is Holy Pact + holding down light attack for the holy seeker bolts.
>use HFB as sorc
>it does lots of damage
>swap staff on mystic knight and try it
>it doesn't do lots of damage
I think regular staves just suck.
Yeah MK isn't really meant to be using staves as much as the shield, especially since you can get BBI armor that enhances the skills on said shield.
Yeah Strider is better
>Mage over Sorcerer
Halidom, Spellscreen, and Anodyne
>Both have access to the strongest magical attack, which is Holy Pact + holding down light attack for the holy seeker bolts.
Yeah but Sorcerer is still better for that since Archistaves have higher magic
Ranger has shit dagger skills and good bow skills, Strider has the best dagger skills and good bow skills.
Ranger is only good for blast arrow or gamble cheese while Strider blows the frick out of every other vocation besides Assassin in terms of damage output, and it's probably better than Assassin when you get skill bands.
If there was a Tenfold Flurry skill band or Ranger equivalent of Cloudburst Volley then Ranger would probably be decent. As it stands it's probably the third worst vocation after mage and warrior.
What is the best time to tackle BBI? I'm planning to go after the campaign, I never went there or finished the campaign.
get the hidden musketeer class
its OP but a good entry into BBI
Why do people lie on the internet?
Sounds solid.
He's not lying anon. You unlock the hidden musketeer vocation by actually using your endless supply of throwblasts.
For me it's post game in NG+
Thanks Gay Ben, being able to use hotkeys on a controller is fricking neato.
The more games I play the more I figure out something new that the steam controller settings just let you do. I'm surprised how far they went with it.
>Anon changed his pawn to a boy
Uhhhhh I'm thinking based
>not a reverse trap
picked up, and brined
Level? Vocation?
>final weapon
I will now pray I get the shadow helmet and the grave veil and I am done with BBI. I have nearly escaped this cursed island.
How do I get the final fricking Gransys star for my pawn!? Aaaaaaarggggghhhhh!!!!
start walking around locations in nighttime buddy
Pawn stats grows the same as arisen? I mean, mages get more magick and so on.
yes
Well, then i will change my strider pawn to fighter for some time so she gets more attack. Thanks, kind anons.
Yup
Yes. Keep in mind that they cannot do hybrid vocations so you will have to plan around 2nd best.
Remember raw attack isn't the only thing worth having. High stamina is extremely useful for pawns because spamming skills is how they do most of their damage.
Post your pawns here I'm in need of sorc pawns and yellow pawns preferably 50-60 up
Also hire my pawn please 🙁
Your pawn is not even in the 48 range, please post her actual level.
Anon this screenshot proves nothing. More often than not you have to refresh the search a million times to find the pawn.
Yesterday a anon posted his pawn where the actual level of the pawn was one level above the screenshot he posted.
Yeah it can be frustrating since people don't know that sleeping updates it. But I still have to search a bunch to find a pawn even if I have the level right.
A big thanks to the anon who hired her for 30k? worth of rift points and the anon who dropped the staff. If anyone want to hire my pawn on PC here's the basic info
>Rosina
>Healbawd lv 60
>Medicant / Utilitarian
>Acuity, Articulacy, Attunement, Beatitude, Conservation, Emphasis
Found her dude will make great use of her 🙂
Ty anon
She is small and cute dude!
Well she's still level 48 I'm still at the rift finding other anon's pawn you just need to sift to pawns I think but I'll try sleeping in the in for you
Dude your pawn is impossible to find... do you have pawn sharing set to anyone?
nta but his pawn is probably getting a lot of use right now which means she's busy
Is that actually a thing?
how else would you explain it? i think when a pawn gets hired they get lower priority and are harder to find in order to make un-hired pawns higher priority and more visible for hiring
(continued)
its basically first come first serve type of deal i reckon so you need to be fast when hiring anons pawns before someone else does
Well I didn't know there's a pawn sharing set but give me your main pawn's name and I will add you to my party
Woah! I didn't know that anyone would hire my pawn
My pawn is to strong for you traveler.
Oh ok???
>already trained my pawn as a mage
i might push her to sorc with me and try out your pawn.
She looks really nice btw.
>medicant above utilitarian
medicant should never be in the 2 first personalities, it can stop her from doing more worthwhile action. You don't need to be healed as soon as you get damaged.
On that note, what are the best inclinations for a warrior? Challenger?
scather/challenger.
You want utilitarian somewhere in the 2 (or at least 3) firsts once your bestiary knowledge is high enough so he works with your other pawn's strategies.
Scather
Mendicant
Utilitarian
Free choice (that isn’t acquisitor)
In that order.
Then remove their skills, give them a bunch of periapts and watch them gobble down buffs and frick everything up as you chill nearby.
>not giving his warrior pawn scather and mendicant, then filling their inventory with tagilus’ and conqueror’s periapts and removing all their skills for maximum jump attack slaughter
NGMI
She's a good pawn, I have her favorited now.
>español
suerte cuando quieras consultar algo en alguna guía
Por eso mismo yo juego a todo en ingles.
>guía
ddda tarde o temprano te hace mirar aunque sea una vez la wikia, o en su defecto alguna guía
No es la primera vez que juego DD, ya lo habia jugado en PS3 hace años. No lo voy a negar que el juego a veces te hace consultar la wikia, pero jugar en español (voces en japonès) no me ha dificultado la busqueda de nada
Hey anon thanks you for the bitter gear lv 3, got this ring (Anodyne & Frigor)
My pawn is lv 62 now btw
>analgésico
I keep looking for people's pawns but I can never fricking find them. Two anons have rented out mine though, which I appreciate.
Pls post yellow or blue pawns level 55 or below. I don't mind either getting one of that level or babysitting a much lower one
>that pic
???
What about it
they better make all the endgame armor at least decent to look at instead of what we got on dark arisen
I'm hoping we get more cosmetic customisation when it comes to gear. Things like colours, being able to hide hoods/face coverings and maybe things like patterns or material skins too
Something like transmog would be nice, but I wouldn't even know what the in-game lore would be if they added that shit.
Magick bro. I got some nice gear from Ur-Dragon but it looks lame as frick so I went back to better looking gear.
Bro, the black cat can replicate the godsbane blade and you are wondering how could Capcom implement silly shit like dressing however you want?
Direwolf is based and lets you add a tribal or beastly element to any pawn.
Opening/closing robes, putting on hoods, etc. There's already some degree of modularity with equipment when you wear gear that would clip (trophy jacket's sleeves disappearing when you put on certain arm armor, for instance) so it'd just be a question of making those toggleable.
>Back to back active Dragon's Dogma threads
Unironically one of the best things to come out of this month
Does Ur-Dragon still die relatively fast?
It would add a bit of human drama to a conflict of cosmic scale so it would work.

... Arisen?
Yeah, honestly though, I don't know how much emphasis is going to be put on the story. I thing the original was mainly accidentally cool, and it's not like Capcom is well known for their writing, lol.
>Grigori's brief but memorable appearances, honorable dealings and earnest desire to see you excel and defeat him were his own choices.
no that's literally the dragon's dogma.
If you want to take that route for your headcanon that's fine. The epilogue does imply it. The problem is everything else about the ending from the dialogue to the choices to cycle 2 says the opposite. I'm just glad my homie Itsuno will have proper time and funding this time.
Does anyone have the webm of the intro cinematic zooming on the arisen, with the arisen looking comedically black?
>Delivered in 35 seconds
Thank you, absolutely based Anon
What's a fun class? I've only ever played this game as a ranger, strider and mage.
All of the other ones are also fun.
every class is fun but for me it's assassin
Ranger
If you liked mage sorcerer is it but way cooler. I quite like fighter as well
Can Daimon really only be killed fast with periapts? What class can kill him the fastest without periapts and magic rebalancer.
post her panties
frick off you nonce
>Like playing as both sorcerer and assassin
>Can't decide which one to keep playing as
Nobody told me this game would be hard
play magic archer
light yourself on fire
Nothing's stopping you from playing both. If you've got turbo autism about your stats, just use dinput hook and shift your STR/MAG around.
The difference in minmaxed base damage is like ~200. Basically inconsequential if you have vehemence+clout and good weapons.
Does minmaxing really do much at all after your level 100 and the stat increases drop off? at that point youd be like turbo minmaxing.
>post 100
I personally used that to course correct stats if I was unsure of how I wanted them.
Download the mod that let you use any gear between classes.
I started a new run of DD even though I just played it a few months ago and I have a bunch of other games I got during the Steam sale and that I'm emulating.
>almost done getting what I want from BBI
>all I have to do is keep insta nuking dark bishop and gazer until armor 3 pops the last two 13 cursed pieces
masterworks all
can't go wrong
Gimme some decent sorcerers to run through BBI mkii.
I’m on a quest to find the last few lvl3 weapons and am able to do it with just my pawn, but enjoy giving anons pawn knowledge and any spare BBI gear/novelties/armour I find.
I did Adaro's escort mission before finding Selene, van I unfrick this somehow? With a mod or something?
Just did symone's quest and got the gold idol so gave it to madison... I could have forged it and hand it to both her and the weaponsmaster guy, right? game just autosaved after handing it in
I'm not sure but I think the forgery completes it but doesn't give the rewards. The real frickup is that you could have kept it for a permanent discount from shops.
do you need to have idols in your inventory to get the discounts?
yes
well good to know I didn't frick up completly then, will do that in NG+
Also the idol inventory merchants get can be found elsewhere in the game. You won't lose out really, especially as beating the game gives you better gear than anything they provide anyway.
you won't get a perfect copy
like the wyrmskingring and salomes book
You need to be in new game + to unlock both shops. So you're fine
Money should literally never be an issue once you start doing bbi.
Forged idols don't give you the merchant's store upgrade. Both forged and real idols give you the discount though I'm not sure if they have to be in your inventory to count, I have mine and the badge of merit in my pawn's.
forged idol is only good for keeping it in your inventory for shop discounts but gold is plentyful anyway
the best outcome is forging the gold idol, giving the gold idol to one of the merchants, giving the silver idol to the other and keeping the fake gold idol for the discount, but you could just forge the silver for a neven lesser discount then
>Switch to Assassin because everyone says it's fun
>Beat Grigori with a sword, get the Dragon's Dogma weapon
>Get Dire Gouge because everyone says it's really good
>Try to tackle Bitterblack enemies
>Gouge does zero fricking damage
>My attacks do zero damage
>My sorc pawn, however can annihilate Garms and Elder Ogres with a single cast of High Fulmination
>Every fight devolves into surviving long enough for my sorc to finish her cast
What am I doing wrong? How do I deal not-shit damage with Assassin?
I actually posted a thread b***hing about melee in BBI and the response I got was that you're always gonna do shit damage without items. So pull those periapts outta storage boyo.
It's been a very long time since I played the save but I didn't have any issues on PS3 when I went into BBI as a ranger/assassin. I never use periapts either, though I did whip out the blast arrows
>you're always gonna do shit damage without items
That's not true. Even on a character with 500 something core attack I was able to brainsplitter through the place without much difficulty and without using periapts.
dragonforge that sword. the dragon weapons should carry you until you can get BBI2 weapons.
It's the sword I got from Grigori. It's far stronger than anything else I have.
I know, I'm saying to dragonforge it and upgrade it more with barroch if you can.
How do I dragonforge weapons?
fight a dragon with it in hand when it has at least 1 star upgrade. cursed dragons have the highest chance outside girgori and the ur-dragon.
Does it work on the overworld dragons in the main game?
yes
yeah but the chance is pitiful.
Hmm, I'm in post-Grigori. The overworld Thunderwyrm and others are simple enough to kill. I tried fighting a cursed dragon, but ended up spending like 30 minutes chipping away before he one-shot me.
I can absolutely not nuke a Cursed Dragon. My sorc pawn's Grand Gicel hardly tuckles it, and so does my sword. I spent 20 minutes trying.
>I can absolutely not nuke a Cursed Dragon.
not with that attitude.
>ice
30% resistance. what is your damage stat at with the sword in hand?
My damage stat is like 1.1k. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm hitting it in the heart.
well the damage is flat reduction so his 850 defense is taken out of your 1.1k damage. you should still be chipping at him with that tho.
Yeah, but he has like 11 health bars. It takes me like five minutes to deplete one. My pawns hardly scratch him either.
he has slight resistance to both ice and lightning as well as 690 MD. still sounds like your pawn needs some upgrades as well.
Switch to assassin, get conqueror periapts and blast arrows and the not tenfold fury ability and enjoy an easy kill.
Peripats stack to a maximum of 4
This game is so broken lmao
Early game is having fun exploring and adventuring. Late game is having fun breaking the game over your knee
Then just visit uncle barroch to rarify if you have the materials.
you can do the drakes in gransys but they take 7 days to respawn a piece where you can just do the cursed dragon back to back. that said just do it how you have fun. I bet you could nuke a cursed dragon, I even find them easier than (giga)drakes. you do you though. all the paths work.
You can also glitch in really early bbi to get the second best short bow in the game
Killing a dragon. Regular ones have a very low chance. Grigori will insta dragonforge your equipped gear. The dragon that hangs around the priest boss in BBI has a 75% chance to dragonforge a random piece of equipment
Is it true that in new game plus all the merchants have everything they sell right from the get go?
Yes, everything you unlocked for them. Generally, its worse than anything the dragon gives you.
do discount idols stack?
I run out of RC that I need for purification and im far from getting all the items I need, what do.
Post pawn or farm cursed dragons.
Cursed dragons give you RC? Good to know, how much per one?
aaaaaaaaaaaaa gay aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
do the from another sky quest
What
Leveling vocations on BBI isn't the best idea.
Please hire, will hold hands for RC.
There's a sequel?
ye
Playing for the first time and it has been pretty enjoyable so far. So many cool little things and details. No-one has hired my pawn yet though. Does anyone wanna take her for a spin? Playing on Steam.
dyke hair is a turnoff anon, nobody wants to be repulsed by a pawn
Not sure what dyke hair means but I can slap a helmet on her or something.
Search on google what is a dyke, ESL.
>tomboy = dyke
have a nice day shlomo
If you like "tomboy", you like men.
Back to discord with you
She's biologically female you ape
She looks like a man, you are attracted to a female that doesn't look female, you are attracted to her because she looks like a man.
Because you like man, you are a homosexual.
By this logic, you'll next say traps aren't gay homo.
tomboys are gay
"traps" aka trannies are gay
men are gay
You are gay.
yeah looks like a dyke bro
Can't find her without knowing her level
Oh, I see. She's level 45.
sorry maybe if i was hiring for a softball league
Ganker is trolling me again right, this can't be real?!
what do u mean
Oh shit, I've been busy. I just assumed it was fake after all these years
are there any essencial mods to improve the Dragons Dogma steam version? Graphical and QoL
all the QoL you will ever need
https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/96
ty ill try it
You wouldn't hire a Male Fighter Pawn, would you?
I always do
thats like hiring a Human Male Fighter, what are you based?
If having a male fighter character with a male warrior main pawn, a second male fighter pawn and a sorcerer pawn is based.
sausage fest
And many dragons, griffons, chimeras and garms to "feed"
I would if I was on your platform because I recognize your struggle.
too overly dressed. he’d get sent away
>scrounge together 3 BBI weapon 2's
>pop them all on red vocation
>get the weapons I want
How?
its random as frick luck. also your pawns class also effects what you get so have both you and your pawn be the color shit you want.
How it works is that you have a set order to what you’ll get. If you say, purify 10 items as red, and get bitter end first, then even if you switched to blue and got a staff and shit, next time you purify a bunch of level 3 shit as red, you’ll still get bitter end.
Really? So one could essentially savescum and switch vocation everytime one gets a repeat and hope for better luck on a different color?
Right. That’s how I thought it worked, cos it says so on the wiki, but then green text happened, so figured I was wrong. perhaps I just had terrible luck though.
>be me
>purify 5 items as red,
>get mace mace mace shield sword.
>reload and switch to blue
>purify all of them and switch back
>get three more bbi3 weapons
>get three maces.
I was rather salty, I tell you!
>also your pawns class also effects what you get so have both you and your pawn be the color shit you want.
This fricking true?!? Does only your pawn affect it or the pawns of the other players that you summond do it to (it would be unlogical but I will still ask), also what if my pawn is absent? I fricked up big time
only your pawn
If youre yellow but youre main pawn is blue youll get both blue and yellow gear even if theyre absent
Thank you sirs
yeah, take it from my experience.for the life of me I couldn't figure out why I was gettting nonstop yellow even though I was a fighter.
Honestly 2 is fine. Plus I'm sticking with MK so I like the magic damage of cursed light, especially since holy is great in BBI.
Can we go 1 (one) (O n E) thread without shitters complaining about Warrior and muh 3 skills
For those in need of a Fighter pawn in the early game.
>Lion Spine and other shit you get in your inn inventory
Get out
They're the best you can get early on. I'm not really a fan myself, but hey, stats are stats.
Fashion > stats
3 vs 6 skills aside, I do think it would be good/cool if, in dd2, warrior could block but only as a perfect block. And without anything making that trivially easy like the mystic knight buffs.
You had a similar deal in Severance Blade of Darkness, its a lot of fun.
Holy shit the traitor army is fricking hideous
Pretty sure everyone thinks the lv3 red armor is ugly as frick. Lv2 red is what you want.
I'm using some nice looking grey/blue cloth sleeveless armor and metal vambraces that show the insides of my forearms so and biceps I can perve on my arisen's armpits. Just seems like a waste I'm getting all these items from purification I don't want to use coz they looks like deviantart OC.
the sinner gloves and legs look fine with a surcoat. the chest and helm are ridiculous though.
I hate the purification system so god damn much. Im fine with it returning but make it less bullshit
the game is still dope and holds up you only need to mod it a bit so it looks better
>that one item you want that isn't even lv.2 or lv.3
30 lv.1 armor purifications later and nothing.
>DD2 brings a lot of players in
>no one hires my lvl 20 fighter pawn
>pawn rarely gets hired
>reach lvl 200
>pawn isnt being hired at all
HOL UP
If
>defeat the seneschal -> become the seneschal
>lose to the seneschal -> become the dragon
>getting to the seneschal requires killing the dragon
Where does the new dragon come from to continue the cycle, if the arisen kills both the dragon and the old seneschal?
probably just respawn grigs until someone can take his place just like the seneschal will continue his role if you tell him to frick off. some say you might elevate a drake but those guys failed against their dragon so they're not good enough.
that mean you ended the cycle of eternal return
but anon your arisen is still seneschal in cycle 2.
i think that is only a cool detail they added, i mean you godsbane yourself and then you pawn becomes you, no way you keep being seneschal
savan pulls the blade from his chest to give it to you bro.
mmhh.. might be
other thing i dont get clearly is why the dragonforged is still there, is he just like barroch?
he actually lost to his dragon but not through lack of will. he's "dragonforged" because his spear broke so he tried to beat grigori to death with his bare hands and they got destroyed which ruined his chance at fighting more. makes me think the drakes just got mindbroken in their fights.
from where do you get that? i barely paid atention to his character
He states it himself.
He also got more dialogue if you go see him right before Grigori.
the specifics are almost headcanon. him being burned by the dragon he says himself and only his hands are charred.
He is weird. He is some sort of ghost, because no one else sees him, yet he ages and will instantly die when player character gets their heart back. Unless the aging you get from being an arisen is actually not stopped but extremely slowed, I can't really figure him out.
I don't think he's a ghost. Olra has a very similar line and implies she was using magic to project herself in a way only Arisen can see. Aside from his initial line everything indicates he's still very much alive
Olra died though
>"I…I died once.
>Olra gets called to Bitterblack like all Arisen
>almost dies
>gets saved/possessed by ghost Olra-Grette
>we show up
>kill daimon v1
>spirits leave
>arisen Olra left
the aging sounds like the duke, but why nobody else see him idk
I was actually just thinking about this and, what about the lesser dragons? Drakes, wyverns, and wyrms are seemingly red, yellow, and blue vocation arisen respectively. But how did they get turned into them? I doubt it was by losing to the seneschal or else they'd be like grigori. Is that what happens when an arisen dies to their dragon? In any case, I wonder if, after an arisen is made the new seneschal, they elevate one of those dragons to take the place of the one they defeated?
>Is that what happens when an arisen dies to their dragon?
ye.
But then there would be too many dragons. Grigori alone has been a dragon for thousand of years, Savan has been the Seneschal for a lot more. I know dragons get teleported to different worlds and realities, but considering the thousands and thousands of dead Arisens who became dragons, where are they all?
drakes, not dragons.
1. Drakes, wyrms and wyverns, not dragons.
2. Either in obscure parts of the world where monsters dwell, or in the rift, the space between worlds.
this is probably what DD2 will be about
>DD1 kills himself as seneshal
>cycle is broken
>world is in chaos
>DD2 arisen is on a quest to become seneshal without a dragon or a cycle
>dragon's dogma
>no dragon
Itsuno's a hack
seriously bros, what was the dragon's dogma?
The pawns you brined along the way
the duality of arisen
The real Dragon's Dogma™ was the e-girl pawns we gifted Large Nuts to along the way.
Imaging actually going for that picrel piece of crap instead of the superior Dragon's Sugma greatsword.
>mystic knight with sword
>get dragon's dogma AND dragon's faith
See you later virgins.
that or the DD1 arisen becomes the new dragon
since the new dragon has a crown in the logo
You don't break the cycle in 1. In NG+ when you beat the game again your previous character is still the seneschal and can show up for other people in online mode
we're talking about inuniverse
there's no NG+ inuniverse
the game ends officially after your pawn becomes you
>there's no seneshal anymore
>grand soren still has a hole in middle of it
>the duke is ded
's no seneshal anymore
(You)
soren still has a hole in middle of it
does it? we close the everfall.
>>the duke is ded
not seeing the problem.
We break our cycle. Its multiversal cycles and chains but our specific world is broken from the chain. The seneschal guides and directs all life to fulfill the purpose of the chain. Savan didn't release himself and was happy to finally be freed by us. He could have done it himself but chose to keep ruling.
And what is your evidence for this claims?
these*
nta but the epilogue text certainly implies that. it's just that everything else about the ending from the dialogue to the next cycles says that's bullshit.
The epilogue doesn't say anything about cutting ties with the rift, it literally just says:
>You killed yourself and you are happy
>Your pawn wakes at the beach, ready to learn how to live
I'm using logic. The cycles need a seneschal to guide and create.
NG+ isn't canon. You get a random Arisen while offline, and having your Arisen is just an offline mode failsafe. Besides, it can be argued that it's all part of the metaphor, you deliberately chose to continue playing the game past the proper end, so your Arisen awaits you there.
It wouldn't. We do the same thing after we take over the role, and the world is fine. It's the willpower of the Seneschal that kept the world running to that point, but after our role is done with, it's the denizens of that world, our pawn at end of the game and the other characters, that take over.
*random Arisen while online
My bad
>NG+ isn't canon.
>But my headcanon is.
lol
lmao even
>You get a random Arisen while offline, and having your Arisen is just an offline mode failsafe.
No because other people can get your arisen.
>Besides, it can be argued that it's all part of the metaphor, you deliberately chose to continue playing the game past the proper end, so your Arisen awaits you there.
maybe if you're a pseud. savan clearly spells out the cycle is unending.
>lmao even
Either way one cannot disprove the other.
If you had a DSP IQ you'd think the end of the game really is just chilling as a ghost in Gransys or sitting in the throne all day.
>because he didn't have the will to end things himself
Does save scamming before opening a chest for rerolls still work?
Yes
Why are you lying to him, I did that after beating Daimon and got exctly the same crap after loading the save
I literally did that just yesterday. It works.
rerolling chests =/= rerolling BBI gacha
Not that anon but you might have just got unlucky. I always reroll the daimon chests when i play solo since i dont get rift crystals from pawn rentals.
4 times in a row with 2 chests?
Yup, different thing but i had 10 lvl 3 bbi weapons and it only has 2 blue weapons, staff ot archstaff. I wanted archstaff....i got 10 staffs
Why are you being off topic, are you trying to confuse me? fat chance
Im just saying that chances in Dragons Dogma are fricked. Chest rerolls work they havent patched this game sincec DDDA came out. I play on pc and rerolls work just keep doing it
Which chests? Only the 1st and the 3rd on the links give BBI stuff, the other 2 never do
Rerolling the chests themselves works. Rerolling the gacha doesn't and you can only shift what you get with vocation swaps.
are all female pawns riftbawds?
Mine isn't. But I would like to give her good looking suggestive clothing some day, maybe.
>lvl 32
>Llirianne
>Lillian
>steam
Ur-Dragon is at 3M health on PC, will probably go on grace later today if anyone wants it.
https://ddda.lennardf1989.com/
What do I need to do here? Never done it.
You enter the chamber of Lament in the everfall when you see the dragon is in grace period and just hit him in whatever heart he has remaining once.
posting my dream team
so lanky, is your cycle set on the Persona or Code Geass universes or something?
my contrarian nature made it so I had to make tall women but amazon is also a thing; thus, olive oil.
Why are they fighting Rook?
>Rent out my pawn like three days ago
>Still hasn't returned
Smell that lads?
It's lodsamone.
With regards to the black cat dlc armor pieces, not the mercedes or julien stuff, they seem to have pretty poor stats even against lower tier armor but very high immunity. How are they when goldforged?
>he doesn't exclusively play with the cassardis armor
Did all that Arisen buisness make you forget where you came from?
I would, but I’m still wearing the (not fricked) basic starting gear.
I love the dialogue with the chief. It actually changes if you call in at various stages of the game
this game feels clunky on consoles. but its otherwise the perfect game.
all of the mage classes stink
does assassin have any unique attack skills?
yeah, like one of the best skills in the game called masterful kill
Anyone know how many pieces of armor there are in the game? I feel like I bought nearly everything from every merchant in the game and I want to know how much more there'd be left so I can fashions dogma.
There are over 6 pieces of armor in this game. Try to collect them all.
WHAT
If you haven’t even finished the game you don’t see everything. Vendors get new shit after story progress. Then there’s BBI...
>I bought nearly everything from every merchant i
>He hasn't started the Bitterblack Casino
Oh no no no
I have. I just want to know the number available and see how many more are missing. Wouldn't want to forge some good looking low level armor only to later find a piece I don't have yet that also looks good.
I found this while searching for a list of equipment but I didn't validate it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YFhFneAcpyHLQWxg9yb_R9R8uRrh5vewP3gRuFd0CtI/edit#gid=0
Will we actually kill "G"od in this game? Only being able to shit on the Seneschal and then dying was kinda lame, maybe a NG+++ special boss or something?
Stop making shitty e-girl pawns and expecting invoites when you can make Gaben and get an unlimited supply of crystals.
>can't get any knowledge higher than 2 stars
>Get Dark Arisen after playing the original
>Reach Gran Soren
>Automatically get a dozen new armor pieces in storage
>Won't need to bother with finding new armor until end game
Takes half the fun out of the loot grind
I just sell or discard those.
>DLC armor
insta-brine. have some shame.
Find some normal armor anyway anon. You don't want to wear the costumes.
>e-girl pawn
>DLC outfits
>Party hat
They will be brined. They will make good fuel for my Great Sacrifice.
