I hope they've learned from blizzard's successes and failures, at least, anyone watching blizzard frick it all up certainly has a lot of information and a prime seat for learning both what to do and what not to do with an RTS.

you could have scouted around the area like every good zerg would do with overloards. Camping the science vessel like that is just lazy
Overlords are inexpensive units that get spammed out.
Science vessels are expensive late game units with mana bars you want to cook before combat.
Also the arby can just put your vessel in stasis
