How the fuck do I level up efficiently my MC is level 30 and everyone else is level 20-23

use rare candies
Do the chapters recommended for level 30+ anyway. They're not that bad and I'd imagine it's way more fun than doing them on level.
im still at a loss at this girl in crackridge
what
the girl that stands outside the inn at night and fucks off when you try to talk to her
i also found a certain scrivener while investigating
iirc it's just a clue for you to go find something there after you finished everyone's story. It's not a proper sidequest or anything just go to the temple east of there after finishing everyone's last boss - not the true last boss- to find some notes explaining the story
Would you?
she looks like the joker
>nerfed the Hunter's bow while ignoring the most broken skill in the game
>bring galdera down to half health
>party members start to stay dead when they die
All it took was one mistake for everything to start falling apart
>the entire sequence with the house out by Timberain
I hate being such a bitch.
>no music, not even in battle or victory screen
>creepy laugh when you get close to the ghost
that poor girl. is there more history to it besides the journal that shows up outside?
Seems like only that. What I wonder is if the journal is actually relevant to another sidequest or just more lore for world building.
i think i've done all the sidequests besides secret superboss so looks like it's just extra random lore
I hope not, that is what makes that part so interesting, you go there, do the quest, get the reward, feel the complete uneasiness of the area, leave and find the entry relating to what occurred. So many questions, not many answers, just a cursed event that you had an impact on.
>do 80k to Dreadwolf with concoct of all things
What the fuck is this
She’s supposed to heal people not annihilate them
does concoct scale off of Matk or what
EATK
Optimal setup lets it do ~65-70kx4 to endgame bosses
neat
Where's the best place to get almighty soulstones?
lv 45 dungeons and steal from elemental spirit dudes
>How do I level the character permanently in my party at the same pace as characters rotating in and out
Play a well designed game tbh
just level them all to 99 then they'll be the same level
They're not permanently in your party.
until you finish their story, they are though...
The one thing i wish they fixed, but sadly didn't
Tressa best girl
She's great but partitio objectively better character
>Tressa is cute
>Partitio is a Chad
Merchant Bros can’t stop winning
What is it?
is this game fun
no
it can be, try the demo, if you like it buy it, else, it is 3 hours for free.
>Cutscene before and after Vide changes depending on your main character
>Feel very vindicated that I picked Temenos as my main as it feels like an extension of his story
We all agree Temenos is the main character, right?
real question did Agnea have any ties to Vide at all? Like Partitio's story didn't but the scrivener ended up being a part of it, but i cannot recall any part in her storyline where anything related to the shadow at all?
Just Tanzy.
Osvald and Harvey
Castti and Trousseau
Temenos and Arcanette
Ochette and Petrichor
Partitio and Ori
Agnea and Tanzy
Throne and Claude
Hikari and Oboro
OCTOPATH/HTAPOTCO
I just did the final chapter today and out of all the journal scraps Ori drops, not a single one mentions anything related to Agnea in the slightest. Kinda stupid as she has literally nothing to do with the story.
Partitio arguably doesn't either besides giving ori hope by being pure
is this game better than pepperoni + jalapeno pizza
should i sell all my doodads
there's a girl in the bar of oresrush you can hire with partitio for 25% sell profit
if you need money yea, i personally won't sell
Alrond's note, he came in clutch for my boi Partitio in the end
>100k
That's oddly low.
Buy it now and we'll throw in Alrond's used silk tissues
Normally in RPGs like this you feel rich as fuck by the end of the game, then when you inquire info from employees on Roque Island, their salaries are like 300k a month.
>everyone who actually works gets peanuts
>security gets 200k
>salesmoron gets 300k for doing nothing
>some dude doing confidential shit is 800k
just like in real life
I still have Agnea’s purse of Hope and Partitio’s lump of silver
Someone post the osvardooo harveeey voice clip I plead
https://files.catbox.moe/uyw6gg.mp3
Thank you
goddamn this never gets old. Best voicelines in the game
For every action, a reaction
i enjoyed the game's english VA for the most part but i think i'm gonna tell my friend to swap to JP VA if only just for how good this scene is
any other scenes that are massively enhanced with the JP VA?
hyahoo
Fastest way to grind? I have the cait powder and the cait ability and the things still barely show up. If the fastest way to grind is "grind the highest level dungeon and hope for caits", don't say anything more.
grind the highest level dungeon and hope for caits or the optional boss
see if you can grab based boi alrond for a fairly high chance of x100 exp/jp
god I love Partitio
As do I. Him and Agnea have made it so I never have to worry about money. Plus I love his aesthetic and music.
t. Alrond
Can also be Ori or Osvald
I don't know if this is common knowledge but
>Get Agnea
>Merchant subclass
>Full Power + Boost-Start + A Step Ahead
>Use Arrow of Fortune with her Latent Power instantly
>???
>Profit
Once I started doing this, I was maxing out all the jobs from my main squad before I finished my MC's story.
Battle on the Sea is the best regular battle theme and you barely get to hear it
>galdera phase 2
>completely has me on the defensive spamming heals and revives knowing if I attack I'd just die
Sealticge Temenos EX skill so you have a billion HP
FUCK YES I WON
I swapped Ochette from team 1 with Hikari in team 2
I needed Ochette to turbo break phase 2 and everyone basically spammed hired help assassins until he died
Nice just beat it myself.
Under 100hrs so I'm pumped
I got carried by Agnea as a merchant and Castti spamming concoctions (when the boss didn't ban them). Then Hikari as a damage dealer whenever it's actually possible. my 4th was Osvald but he just kept dying non-stop so I wouldn't recommend, just get anything else not squishy, a 2nd merchant if possible. The last hired help is just OP and it's a heal the boss cannot ban.
are caits more common in 2? I've been getting super lucky with finding them so far and I haven't even grinded random encounters or anything. myc mc is level 37 while everyone else is 26-30. one time I even got ×5 exp from bewieldering grace after killing one, only time j've ever gotten more then ×2 lol
They're much more frequent in higher leveled dungeons. Or literally on the grassy trail on Roque Island. At night usually.
That's where I caught a Chubby Cait.
Dub or sub?
Anyone got story final boss OST link? Can't find it on YouTube. The song was so damn good for a final boss
https://nyaa.si/view/1643326
Tracks 114-118 are the themes of the area and boss fight
>Gah, where did you come from?
>The scoop hole!
God Ori is too cute.
>just used makeshift catapult
>now my weapon is gone
Uhm please tell me that I just permanently destroyed it...
Can galdy be beat by a group in the 60s or do you have to farm to even stand a chance?
It's possible. Incredibly difficult without the right burst builds and RNG, but still possible.
levels don't actually matter that much that stat gains are kinda crap
you do want battleworn weapons for big dick damage though and spam items for bp
Even if you're level 99 you still need the right burst builds and RNG. The only stat that goes up and matters is HP after at some point, and without killing the things at the proper time you get instantly killed anyway and can never be resurrected.
Personally I killed Galdera at mid 50s to low 60s and I can say my strat is pretty consistent.
if it's like OT1 then there's a hidden level multiplier that affects your damage/healing, which would make you about 50% stronger at lv99 than lv50. still, there's no reason to grind either in this or the previous game to defeat Galdera as long as you haven't spent all your JP on useless builds
I literally just did that. Team was levelled 60 to 66.
Throne beat the absolutely shit out of him since I made her my Armsmaster and fed her every NUT I could find.
The whole strategy was keeping the boss debuffed, Throne maxbuffed, and force-feeding her pomegrates between her turns.
Final boss in OT2 is substantially easier than OT1.
You can, but you need a team composition tuned to abuse buffs, debuffs, turn order, and consistent breaks across both phases. There are several guides out there for setting up what you need to beat this fight. I ended up combining two strats, one for phase 1 and one for phase 2, to beat the Dark God.
Is it not possible to savescum for stealing anymore?
I tried like 50 times for an 8% item and it always fail.s
can't you just buy it with partitio
Some stuff you can't buy like Alrond's promissory note. And I don't know where Alrond is at night to mug/entreat him.
> And I don't know where Alrond is at night to mug/entreat him.
you need to do his butler's sidequest after finishing Partitio's story for him to appear at night
No wonder. I'm saving all of my sidequests until after I clear everyone's final chapters. Maybe that's why I can't find Dolcinaea while Veronica was standing there on New Delsta for me to mug her Battle-Tested Shield.
She’s in the theater after you do Veronica’s quest
It's possible. Took me around 5 resets to get a 8% Lapis Rod from the demo while I stole the 8% Battle-Tested Staff on the first try.
You're just getting bad RNG.
I just started Throne > the cleric with Ishida Akira's voice > the prisoner with Dio's voice
How do I go to the continent on the left?
Directly to the left of the continent is the dock. You pay 2.5k to head to the left one, or Ochette's island.
Also, Joji Nakata is not Dio. You're thinking Takehito Koyasu.
oh yeah Dio is his rival. I was trying to type Kirei
Can you use the nuts before being max level or will you miss out on stats if you use them early?
Hello? Is this thing on?
You're fine to use them Anon. if you're a fucking casual lmao
>jp has an all-star cast
>i prefer the dub
>JP all-star cast
>A bunch of people I don't know talking in a language I don't understand
i seriously thought this was Robbie Daymond when i first heard him. his voice sounds like an even calmer version of pre-psycho Akechi.
You don't speak Japanese
How big of a difficulty spike are later dungeons and fights?
not very
i found some of the story final fights harder
Agnea's threw me for a loop with the charms and life drain and character "deletion" that I flatout lost on the first attempt.
I had to break and burst the boss down asap to not deal with that crap.
Axe first think later!
Ahh. Finally completed OT2 this morning.
Now I can read threads on Ganker about the game.
So I impregnated countless women.
My stats after getting 5th party member (slut dancer).
Am I overleveled?
I saw someone start chapter 2 at level 78 so you're not that overleveled
Phew, I'm good then...because I already did chapter 2. Osvald's.
how important is level recommendations for chapters? All my characters are on their chapter 4's and they're only levels 23 and 24
what is she making?
A cumcoctipn
Sex
sleep powder
pesto
Mustard gas
I wish that throne was real I could fix her
Does anyone have dorkier skill lines than Castti?
POISON SLASH
AXE ATTACK
I KNOW NO CURE FOR EVIL
>How the fuck do I level up efficiently my MC is level 30 and everyone else is level 20-23
You could just let your MC be dead for a while fighting with the rest of the team.
And if you use job abilities such as extra exp, extra exp at night, and the amulet that gives extra exp, and or the garden gnomeel cake consumables (none of these effects stack with themselves, but individually they still stack together), the rest of the crew should get back on track in but a small handful of battles. You really can level up a ton in an instant with all of this stuff.
Personally I recruited my first 4 all at the same level though so it never really became an issue for me. Ochette and Hikari can easily level up on their own through duels though.
>garden gnomeel cake consumables
Not heard of these before. QRD?
>QRD
They're extremely rare so it isn't that surprising that you haven't encountered them.
But if you've ever encountered the rare cats or octopus enemies with funny battle music. If you actually catch the cats with Ochette then she can prepare them into garden gnomeel Cakes. And consuming one in a battle boosts your party's EXP yield for that battle.
NTA
There's an accessory which increases chances of their (cait's) appearances in fights, but I have no fucking idea where I got it.
It's behind the crazy cat lady. In Tropu'hopu.
Is there any item or passive ability which guarantees that equipping character will act first in combat? I don't mean
>raise chance to act first
skill that Ochette has. I mean 100% sure, SURE to act first, every time.
There’s an Inventor skill that does just that, First Step
Sweet. Thank you!
>non moe-e-boi voice Inorin
wow
too bad it looks like her skills SUCK
She's WAY more useful than Primrose was in the first game. She has actual offensive abilities (shield-breaking kick, dagger-all, wind-all) and her followers give echo effects to her dances. Also she doesn't have any of the sucky useless dances anymore.
Literally how does anyone ever reach level 30+ with non-MC travelers I am struggling to keep my party leveled
If you explore every map while traveling you'll be overleveled for every boss. Do people seriously just rush through areas and wonder why they are unleveled?
I have Evasive Maneuvers permanently on and I still feel overleveled
This
I've only beaten 3 chapter 1 and I'm already at level 11-12. Still have 5 more characters to recruit... and they'll be at level 5-6 at the end of their chapter 1. It's too easy to get level and Job Point too in this game.
>be me
>played OT1 so I know I want thief as starting class, because I know what thief can do
>recruit Temenos and Osvald after that
>what I didn't know is how OP Throne's and Temenos' talents are
>''hm, can I try going into higher lv area at night?''
>well, sure
>EXP porn
I also picked Throne but only because she's sexy as hell
Throne's night buff is insanely strong
Osvald auto analyze + multi elements are great too
Temenos... I don't find him very strong at all. against boss maybe since his talent can break shield with any attack, but mobs always die so quickly I never needed it.
I'd probably bench Temenos and Agnea for other characters.
There are so many combinations in this game, but I probably already have a winning combo.
>Ochette's second job is Merchant
>fight at night
>starts the fight with 1 additional BP
>boost, sends her BP to Throne
>Throne booosts, uses Aeber's Reckoning
>she has ''break damage limit'' from warrior class
Have yet to recruit all members and start chapter 2. I swear to god, I didn't look at FAQs. I only asked here if there's an accessory that grants initiative.
>I only asked here if there's an accessory that grants initiative.
Near Throne's town there's an inventor. One of the abilities you can learn from is it One Step Ahead which gives you a free turn 0. Basically every fight is an ambush.
One easy combo is to just have Agnea get the Merchant ability to start with full latent bar as well as start with +1BP, get One Step Ahead from Inventor and find someway to easily destroy the enemy in one single move. Easy, no brain way I've been doing it was using Spirtlord's Staff from Armsmaster. Since that scales on EAttack and her's is fairly high, she can do enough to OHKO most things.
Yeah, I have that class, it was the first one I found (because I started as Throne), but I didn't find materials for his inventions. More like, I didn't visit him lately, maybe I have something that he needs.
I do have 3 ''refined'' weapons tho (from that other side quest with a retired blacksmith.
for me it was Armsmaster Ochette
>have Osvald analyze target to amp that one Axe attack bonus
>dancer buffs Ochette's ATK or Castii can just full-party buff with Concoct
>if I have latent and it's a boss, I use Ochette's Howl to reduce their defense, otherwise have Ochette eat a BP item
>merchant feeds even more BP to Ochette
>easy 50k+ damage that can be used twice in a row, and with Ochette's passive that gives her 50% chance to act again on break, you can sometimes do this twice in one turn
with A Step Ahead and some other passes, I could easily decimate whatever target I wanted, most final story bosses didn't last more than like 3 or 4 turns since they're guaranteed to live until their speeches, and then die the next turn
>explore each map and optional dungeon as I play through the game
>add more ocotos and cait charms onto a character
>massively overleveled for everything
Didn't even use the hunters more rare monsters thing either. You'd have to go out of your way to be under leveled in this game.
im underleveled right now. Best way to play the game. So much harder. just got my shit kicked in by a seahorse.
best skills to learn with hikari?
How does higher tier magic work? My Osvald started hitting twice with spells but he doesn't always do it and he has that skill that gives him another use of advanced magic, But I don't know what triggers it
Advanced Magic makes spells hit twice in a row.
Scholarking's Buff makes spells hit thrice in a row.
Be careful not to apply Scholarking to yourself, and then try to be cute by adding a stack of Advanced Magic. All it'll do is increase your stacks then convert all of them to AM, it won't give you more SK.
I did that this morning and felt like a dipshit.
Use the skill literally named "Advanced Magic" to give you 3 charges. More boost = more charges
She's a WOLF girl not a cat girl. Get it right
It’s astounding. All they did was add in a prepubescent cat girl and the game is already better than the first
…but enough about hunter hikari
underrated
What is astounding is that i can't say if Ochette is actually dumb or not
she came to same the conclusion about Harvey's true magic
Agnea is dumb, Ochette is just not the intelligent kind but still smart.
>Agnea is dumb
she isn't though
ochette has a certified retard moment every now and then but then reverts back to someone not retarded
Ochette is just innocent, she never had to deal with the actual consequences of anything super dire besides her story. No family was murdered, the humans didn't genocide them yet. they were just silly furries that liked to eat.
Agnea is just ignorant, unaware of the real world and how bad it can be, thinking everything can be fixed by dancing... Peaches eventually go bad.
>thinking everything can be fixed by dancing
tbqh Ochette has a similar belief that most stuff can be fixed by just giving people jerky
>most stuff can be fixed by just giving people jerky
I mean, she's nto wrong.
Partitio has a similar belief that most stuff can be fixed by just giving people money
>by just giving people money
That, however, is realistic, same as Temeno's belief of bonking people in the head with his staff.
Am I crazy or was Dancer much more useful and impactful in Octo 1?
Agnea is better than Primrose but there are more ways to get stat boosts now with other characters
Dancer/Inventor is the best support in the game.
Agnea is insane, pair her with merchant and you can manipulate turns and shit out BP everywhere
dancer can no longer buff speed and defence.
>Do the Clocktower quest
>A bell chimes whenever I change the time in Clockbank now
Fucking SOVL
I just realized Throne has 2 Chapter 2 routes.
should I do Father (L16) or Mother(L7)?
You should post throne porn
I don't think any exists.
Do Mother first, then Father. More dramatic that way.
>tfw the only porn for the game I've seen is arcanist osvald and hunter osvald fucking hunter partitio
>Decayed Temple door won't let you pass if you are guiding someone
You know what, I'm not even mad.
>Osvald using the literal ONE TRUE MAGIC further enhanced by the wisdom of a god and focused into an unrivaled force of magic
>does less damage than an apothecary throwing some blusterblooms into a bottle and throwing it at her enemies
I feel cheated
Love is for the weak.
I know I've met the harp player, but now that I'm doing the commerce side quest I can't remember at all where and none of the cities I've checked so far were right. Anyone know where she's at?
The questgiver lists the places where a musician is if you talk to him again.
>harp
ive got bad news for you
well shit, so he does. My fault for not reading I guess, I'd taken the other two musicians on a whim and had it right.
So Temonos means sacred ground around a temple, do the other characters names have meaning?
Throne's last name is a Anguis[h]
Partitio wants to partition wealth
Hikari literally means "light"
Osvald's an offshoot spelling of Oswald which means divine ruler
>Osvald's an offshoot spelling of Oswald which means divine ruler
Lee Harvey Osvald
Anguis is a genus of snake, which id probably the primary inspiration for her name
Additionally Casti’s surname Florenz could be a reference to Florence Nightingale or merely the fact that she uses many flowering plants
Best cross path story?
cute boys
Guys watch out there’s a thief trying to take your money
when can you get a 2nd job?
When you go down to the employment office.
At any time. You just need to find a guild and talk to guildmaster. On your minimap a guild is shown as a shield.
The way the game adds to NPCs stories with their skill names and items on hand is pretty soulful.
etsy shop making octopuff plushies when?
Is the gatcha any fun
Is the Cursed Shield actually cursed? It has one of the highest defense values in the game but the only drawback in the description is the -Evasion
No, "cursed" just means it has one or more negative stats.
Thanks, I was just hoping it didn’t have a secret effect that kills you mid-battle or something
Based Blessingchad, I use one on Throne to pump her Speed with Lost Tribe gear
>It has one of the highest defense values in the game but the only drawback in the description is the -Evasion
Uhm, no sweety, it gives bonus evasion.
I love having one character as full cursed/lost tribe gear with blessing. That makes for a fun character.
Where do you get that thing?
google
Middle of the ocean on an island that looks like a maze.
>Harvey finally FINALLY manages to beat Osvald at something, successfully finding and figuring out how to use the seventh element, and using that to create the strongest magic spell to possibly exist
>Osvald manages to accidentally replicate it without the seventh element entirely, to the point he’s as confused as Harvey as to how he did it
>Harvey’s One True Magic (the true version running off of the seventh element) ends up being weaker than Osvald’s version (which substituted a desire to protect his daughter for the missing ingredient)
>Harvey is so pissed off he literally explodes
>Harvey manages to stumble away alive only to get shived off-screen by a scrivener for his book
What a perfect sequence of hubris
>that spoiler
I know that’s a joke but now I’m imagining Ori being the true main villain and ruthlessly murdering him in cold blood
its not a joke
what
Its funny how Ori shows up around the main cast in the weirdest places all the time isn't it? Enjoy post game
Dont click on spoilers for games you havent finished.
She’s only in Partitio’s story!
Poor anon, doesn't pay attention to background NPCes
okay give me an example
Go watch Osvald's trial.
>check
shes actually there
It can’t be
Not that Anon, and actual spoilers for the end game:
Ori's betrayal broke my heart. I figured out who she was immediately from the first note (not exactly subtle), but I was hoping against hope she wasn't involved in all of this.
At least Partitio is such radiant sun of pure goodness that he manages to turn her away from it at the last moment and she actually comes out alive, unlike the rest
DLC where Partitio tracks her down and hugs the evil out of her fucking WHEN.
you can find her right now. Shes just sleeping.
I found her. There's no option to hug, but I am at peace. Thanks, Anon.
>liked Ori a lot as a side character, thought she was cute and worked will with Partitio
>notice that she appears in a lot of other character's stories
>ohfuck.jpg
>not too surprised that she turned out to be a villain
>but I WAS surprised at how Partitio was so autistic about ending poverty that she realized that maybe she doesn't want to go through with trying to end the world
>she gets to live as a result
I was very happy and pleasantly surprised, I would have been sad to have to kill her
I only caught her cameos in Osvald and Castti
Where else does she pop up
I'm like 80% sure that she's in the city that Agnea has her finale dance battle in
but don't quote me on that but I hear that she appears in everyone's story somehow
for me it was the Ochette finale where she comforts the dying beast that was once the animal she didn't pick, telling them they won't be hurt anymore and that it's okay now
>"If we meet again... let's eat lots of food together, okay?"
>"...Good night."
Yeah. Ochette’s ending went in a completely tragic direction I wasn’t expecting. Was wondering where the little guy went the whole time.
I liked that everyone was just telling her to fight and to kill the beast, then she stops and points out how all the scars on its body mean it was likely tortured and that it wasn't evil from the start, it was made that way from being treated horrifically over years
She was always a kind girl but seeing her treat the fight as euthanizing an abused animal after a life of pain rather than a straight battle really made her stand out to me. I picked her as my starter cause I was going in the OCTOPATH order for party members but she unexpectedly became one of my favorites by the end.
I will agree and say Lostseed was actually really cool and made me interested in whatever the fuck was going on there, definitely one of the better final areas. Father's fight was definitely the peak of her story, I was not expecting him to have such a fucked up backstory.
Harvey being a generic villain I didn't mind as much because a lot of other villains are treated as tragic figures (like Trousseau) or aren't really that evil to begin with (like Dolcinaea), so having a character be so straight-forward in how evil they are is a bit refreshing, he's "fun to hate" if that makes sense. It also sets it up for how Harvey uses blood magic to try to attain the One True Magic while Osvald does it on accident because he just loves his daughter and would do anything to protect her. It's basic, but I appreciate what they were going for and their final confrontation was pretty satisfying. Plus I love how Osvald stops giving a fuck about revenge and just goes full dad mode the second he finds out Elena's alive, it gave him a much-needed answer to the problem of "so you kill Harvey, then what happens?"
did it explicitly say she finished him off? i thought she just grabbed the book and bolted after seeing harvey escape
gotta say I didn't expect them to end up chucking kamehamehas at each other
>That feel when full cursed item build
It does put a smile on my face
4 the record, but maybe you know that already, you can get an accessory which turns minus into plus
Ah, he was faster.
>Advanced Magic doesn't work with Cleric spells
Why
It actually does work with cleric heal, cleric revive and their AOE offensive spell.
Oddly, it doesn't work the single target damage spells.
What exactly is the difference between the Sacred Flame and the Azure Flame?
It seems it only works with the AoE spells, forgive my retardation.
why does Octo always feel the need to make the healer characters the ones who can deal the most damage?
if you can grant life, you can grant DEATH
>expect to get typical goody two shoes cleric story
>get a buddy cop detective story instead
consider my expectations subverted
Ophelia was our good two shoes cleric. And I loved her story so god damned much, it was so refreshing to have a good character who was good, stayed good and didn't fall or otherwise have a murderhobo moment. I made her a thief for most of the game because I liked that outfit better though.
I like Ophelia but half her story was basically filler. Alfyn was the big surprise for me for how good his story ended up being since his initial chapter is kind of boring. He probably ended up being either the best or second best
Alfyn and Castti both surprised me. I went into each game not interested in the apothecary, both times I acquired them as the last party member, and both times they ended up being my favourite characters.
Alfyn because he's a genuinely good man (same reason I like Partitio so much), and Castti because she's the party's mama bear and it's impossible not to love her.
>filler
I don't really think any of the stories of either game is filler. Could argue "not much happened during this part" I suppose, but not every moment has to be super exciting and going at 100%. That's part of why Ophelia's -- and Agnea's for that matter -- story worked. You balance the exciting with the more mundane. If anything, I wish Temenos had more moments where he's being a cleric as well and not just an inquistor. The opening bit where he can't properly teach shows he's human.
You didn't overlevel yourself. I wish I had a challenge; I explored the world and did most of the side quests and stuff before I even started chapter 2s.
They put a pretty nice amount of effort to combine the stories while still keeping the 8 stories as their own thing.
The healers are the grittiest characters. Castti's combat barks in particular are way more extreme than anyone else's, always screaming about how she's draining the poison while she's murdering you and then concluding the battle by remarking that how there's "no cure for evil".
The healers have seen some shit. Castti's line in her chapter... 2 or 3? of "I've been trained in apothecary combat arts" wasn't even delivered exceptionally well but it came off so damned well.
>kamehamehas
Have you used Elemental Barrage? It's literally Vegeta's technique.
When I started Osvald's story I didn't expect it to turn into Dragon Ball Z.
>Castti's line in her chapter... 2 or 3? of "I've been trained in apothecary combat arts" wasn't even delivered exceptionally well but it came off so damned well.
it's cool how they explained the whole combat art of "bottling" in the mercantile manuscript too
>expectation
Ophelia but with amnesia
>reality
Somehow the most fucked up of the eight
Wtf do I do against an octopuff am I supposed to kill or catch them
yes
Damage with Soulstones, capture if possible
magic so you dont miss
>doing Warrior final chapter
>Fucking gauntlet of fights
>Hardest shit so far
>Do Hunter final chapter after
Jesus fuck, I'm not just shit at the game, right?
congrats, you lucked out and did the boss rush story finales back-to-back
I had a real hard time against Partitio's last chapter boss after breezing through three others. Fucker has so many gimmicks it's infuriating when you're consistently just healing and recovering from constant stuns and KOs.
About to start. Should I pick Hikari or Osvald as my main?
You kinda don't want a damage-focused character as your main since they'll end up overleveled and you'll trivialize bosses. If you don't care about that then don't worry about it.
Starting with Osvald gives you full access to info/theft which is more consistently useful than knockout or follower. His story also rocks.
Hikari is kinda your standard jRPG protagonist so if you dig that then go for it.
My recommendation for MC is Ochette. She starts in the middle of the map and can go anywhere after that, and you'll be able to consistently gather monsters for food/blue magic.
Speaking of Ochette, what are some good monster for her?
Basically anything with status effects. The owl covers magic weaknesses, and Ochette gets a good range of weapon weaknesses, so you want to look for critters that will debuff/poison enemies or buff your team.
Chubby Cait. Does random shit, one of them is invincibility.
Covering weaknesses is good, but buffs, status effects, multihits and debuffs are great because they never stop being useful, whereas the damage monsters do is pretty static and ends up hamstrung due to damage caps. The best best monsters are generally going to be some of the bosses, but things like Cait and Octopuffs are nice even if they arent reliable.
Later in the game, most high tier monsters, like King monsters will almost always do damage AND buff/debuff, which is handy.
I mained Cyrus during the first game so looks like we're stickin' to scholars boys.
Your options are:
>Weeaboo swordsman mopes about war
or
>Local wizard literally too angry to die
They're both great. I think Hikari's story ends up being better executed in the end, but Osvald's is still fun.
>too angry to die
How angry we talking? Those are my favorite types of characters.
Locked on a frozen island hell for five years where prisoners regularly freeze to death and the only thing keeping him going is a deep, seething, but calculating hatred.
That level of angry.
I started skipping through Hikari's story halfway through because nothing interesting or surprising happens during it. You can predict every narrative beat, and the prose is pretty boring to read, and Hikari just isn't an interesting character in the least (not that he's bad, but I've seen him a hundred times, he's a walking archetype).
At least Harvey was a fun villain.
>find a guy who causes "curious effect" on Agnea's dance moves
>he just shows up-mid fight and randomly murders me sometimes
I don't know what I expected
>papa Nier is in this game
>voices one side character
Fuck you, Square. You did that shit in Tactics Ogre as well.
just fucking give it to me straight lads
will we ever get a Octopath 3?
You're joking, right? The name alone tells you there will be 8 games in the series.
They fucked up by making this game multiplatform so Nintendo didn't bother marketing it, which meant they didn't sell as well. The series is really well-received though, and the dev team is clearly talented and competent, so I doubt Team Asano will get dissolved.
To be honest, I didn't expect we'd get a 2. I really don't expect a 3, especially after how poorly 2 sold; something like 70k physical vs 110k physical in Japan.
The only saving grace could be that they have the engine made and the games could be made on the cheap if they continue to use said engine as they have for Triangle Strategy. Or if it sold well enough on PC/Gamepass to warrant a 3rd.
Hikari's story is literally Fire Emblem. Osvald's story turns into DBZ.
Surely launching on steam makes up the difference here, right? Can't exactly have physical PC sales anymore.
it's square shitnix, if it didn't sell millions it wouldn't be allowed to exist
maybe it's to the best seeing how they started dabbling into gacha and shit
A lot of people buy digital. Also they can reuse assets like they did in 2 with enemy sprites and textures. I can't imagine it is an incredibly expensive game to produce and ROI is probably pretty decent. Who knows, after huge flops like Forspoken, they could be more inclined to focus on smaller titles.
Squenix hates good games since they remind them about their better times and not making flop after flop with final fantasy title
The engine is the big one. Unlike Konami, SE seems intrested in reusing their engines that they've dunked millions into.
Steam isn't selling that hot; left is OP2, right is OP1. Like I hinted at, Gamepass is a godsend for games like this
>Steam isn't selling that hot
17k vs 6k all-time peak
What?
For SE, no, that's not very good.
Why the everliving fuck is LiS that high?? Jesus Christ this world needs to end.
LiS is essential leftycore
They released a lot of small/medium budget games lately and a lot of them flopped, which makes sense since they aim for the same audience who isn't big in the first place and don't have infinite time/money. They may now focus on only the few games that were actually well received, and I think OT2 is still one of the most successful ones even if its sales are lower than the first game.
>Hikari's story is literally Fire Emblem
Do you think Agnea has a corruption/NTR fetish?
If we do it’ll probably be one of those 3rd entries that tries to radically change the formula and then fails at it
>just beat Castti's Story
>expect to be in tears from what everyone says
>nothing really hits me that hard, it's honestly nice that she and her old team finally get closure
>her theme starts to kick in and the artwork pops up
>mfw
I teared up pretty bad at Temenos' ending screen as well, I gotta admit. Crick deserved better.
Putting them to sleep genuinely got me almost choked up. Then the reporter scene with her theme playing just ruined me.
How do you guys decide which sub jobs to give people? I think I'll make Ochette a warrior, someone also said something about Partitio being a good inventor, is that correct? Not sure what to do with him, he's mostly a BP bot.
Look for synergies is your best bet. Ochette being a warrior works because it lets her have coverage and more damage options, and none of her inherent skills are especially synergistic with other classes.
But stuff like Dancer/Inventor has strong synergies, as does Merchant/Archanist, Cleric/Scholar or vice versa, etc etc.
But how do I make Partitio good?
Merchant is always good. Hired help is busted, even before you get the hired assassins. Merchant is especially effective combined with arcanist which you can get as soon as you can beat the blob monster in the ocean. Party wide steps, autorevive, rest and other hijinks never gets old.
>mother asks to find daughter
>daughter is in dungeon with boss
>boss drops item
>daughter says she went looking for her sister
>says the dropped item is her sister and it must have ate her
>return daughter to mother
>sisters lies daughter went on an adventure
>mother says she is happy since a professor invited her as research assistant
>the professor was Harvey
>the dead sister was the monster
For a jrpg this game has some dark side quests.
>>the professor was Harvey
>>the dead sister was the monster
fuck i hadn't realized this because at the time i did the sidequest i hadn't progressed enough of the story
You go to that town for the last chapter mission for Osvald.
How did you go there before that?
Not to mention that dungeon was rec lvl 50.
did the dungeon at around lv30. you do realize that bar a few exceptions the story doesn't lock you out of going anywhere, right?
Yeah but after playing the first game I figured out the danger level is also relevant to the story since most areas you will revisit if you do them too early.
Guess you're one of those people who made a 4-man party and then recruited the other 4 after completing the first party.
no one else's story takes you to Gravell so that would be irrelevant. but i had recruited everyone and not progressed any of their stories by the point i went there.
>no one else's story takes you to Gravell
Osvald?
we were talking about Osvald, no one else takes you to Gravell. if there is i forgot, the point was just that you can explore and go there without doing any story
In the previous reply I stated that Osvlad has his last chapter quest there.
Lvl 45 areas are last chapter tier.
Same as in the first.
>Lvl 45 areas are last chapter tier.
NTA but that's fucking lame. They never go up?
There's a couple of areas with higher levels including optional bosses.
BTW, Ori is on sale on eShop. Only 4,99 euroinos.
So Roi was that beast you fight in Ochette’s chapter 1 right?
I had a feeling something about those lines were familiar
Bros...........I kinda miss her
Ochette mogs the fuck out of her
H'aanit doesn't know what sex is
my comfy forest wife
>Hughette
My beautiful top tier archer wife
God I wish Octopath and Triangle Strategy had some type of crossover game
Imagine Frederica murdering Galdera since its the actual evil God she hates so much
Benedict would commit war crimes against Ku
>Benedict would commit warcimes
Fixed
She was cool but the translation butcher her for me.
did the first game ever get any story DLC?
Nope.
I just skip of speed read what NPCs are saying.
That ass
More like no ass!
I bet Osvald has better glutes.
Hikari no
You’re literally the king of a country
Don’t fall for a hick dancer
You’ll waste being able to use marriage for political gains
A Gaijin will be the queen of Ku
Mugen was right
What part of "Hikari's story is Fire Emblem" do you people not understand?
Built for Ku Royalty
>That arm and hand
Agnea’s hips
>"I finally have a daughter."
>Father was a troubled man.
I liked Father but man they really fucked up with Claude at the end
I get that they were setting up for the Vide bullshit but that really came out of left field and I didn't care about it nearly as much as I did about Mother and Father going down
There were two things about the game's story I really didn't like.
The first was the hamfisting-in of Claude, though I'll say that the whole of Lostseed was delightfully creepy.
Like you said, he came completely out of nowhere, and whilst I do like how twisted the idea of Throne being the end-result of a centuries-long eugenics program is, the Mother/Father angle was more straightforward and emotionally impactful. I felt things during the Father fight, and loved how desperate and deranged he became by the end of it.
The second is that Harvey was just a shit villain. He was too crazy. Too much like a Saturday morning cartoon villain, even while he was doing some of the most objectively fucked up things in the whole game. I couldn't take him seriously with how much his VA hammed it up and laughed at every little thing. Also the writing for his dialogue was dreadful. I was giggling during parts that were supposed to be super serious because he wouldn't shut the fuck up with "I TOOK EVERYTHING FROM YOU OSVALD!"
Osvald's early chapters had me thinking Harvey was a figment of his imagination.
I thought the exact same thing, when I saw Harvey standing in front of the guard as the house burned down, along with the “Do you have the answer” monologue, I was 100% predicting some Fight Club fuckery where Harvey was just a manifestation of Oswald’s insatiable scholarly ambition.
i thought claude was simeon
>knock oversleeping fisherman out with Throne
>doesn't work
>put him to sleep with Castii
wtf?
>knocking him out at night
Is there any sort of end-game content ?
There's a final chapter with a true final boss, and a few optional bosses. Plus a returning superboss.
>There is a myth in the Wildlands that tells of a mysterious weapon.
>It is said that sealing away a certain evil entity will cause it to transform into a staff.
>That entity supposedly delights in the darkness found in children's hearts and can even take hold of them.
>Any child possessed can be seen wandering nearby at dawn.
>If someone can coerce the darkness from their heart...
>The entity will be sealed into the form of a staff.
>The staff will be free from the entity's evil influence, leaving behind naught but a powerful weapon to be wielded.
>I often heard that story in my hometown of Gravell when I was young.
No need to tell me how to actually get it. Would much prefer it if you didn't.
But please do tell me. Do I actually need to wait for "Dawn" or is night enough?
You have to wait for dawn.
Set the game to night, get off of your chair, do three sets of pushups, a few squats and a few arm curls, a kid will show up on screen, use ya boy Temenos to question the kid.
I finally have more party members than my team can hold and its triggering my autism so much. What is the right way to handle this? Finish everything with first 4 characters and keep others benched until then?
Use 3 characters, rotate the 4th depending on whose story you're doing.
People deal with it differently, some people have one party complete all their stories then swap to the other party since you can't swap out your starter character until their story is finished. I personally just swapped around and took the 3 party members with the lowest levels every time I finished someone's chapter and did all 8 stories concurrently. By the time you hit endgame chapters for characters you can easily grind XP and slap good gear on them so they catch up fast.
to be fair I don't think he could have predicted Harvey surviving whatever the fuck happened to him when he got consumed by the shadow magic, dude straight up disappeared
the rest I can agree with though
leave Harvey alive to escape at the end of it
I'm fairly certain that was a typo and it meant Osvald
>start game completely blind
>pick Osvald
>his VA is Joji Nakata
Same.
I picked him in the demo just to try out a caster and sticked with him till the end.
>Osvald is voiced by Joji Nakata
>Harvey is voiced by Takehito Koyasu
Holy shit this is great.
He's an autist.
He even had to ask what love is after he unlocked love element.
Welp, I'm 2 achievements away from fully completing Octopath Traveler 2.
The thing is, it looks like I have visited every location on the map, besides that one corner west of Hinoeuma that's yellowed out, and the achievement still has not popped. Is there some way to get there, or do I have to manually revisit every location until the achievement pops, or have I missed a temporary location?
cute!
from https://twitter.com/hanpaopaoo/status/1634501463568433152/
Who the fuck uses stimulate when the dancer thot has ability to make everybody act faster than the enemy.
situational I guess for when you want to break a boss before they act that turn, or get an important buff/heal/defend out ASAP. agnea's EX only applies for the next turn
It's come in clutch for me a few times when I needed my healer to act before the boss.
There's also a wind spell attached to the first move, so if the enemy party has a reflect or counter up, Agnie's going to get some blowback.
Yeah, /a/ would freak about Kirei vs. Dio.
Already happened. That was Alucard vs Luke Valentine.
Oh. You learn something new every day.
Is this game any good
no
So Agneas aoe wind spell is basically one big braap right?
Is there any fanart of it?
Asking for a friend.
sometimes I wonder about the people I have to share this website with
Whenever you feel bad, just remember that some people exclusively use /trash/, and take solace in the knowledge that you're better than they are.
must be hard experiencing a site that isn't a hivemind
Before I spend tons of SP trying to out, is it possible to make the invincibility buffs of the arcanist last forever with the divine skill?
And also is it possible to make the entire party permanently invincible with arcanist Agnea?
The revive buffs just revive you once and last for a duration but also go away if you die, so no.
I’m doing the Light Revenant farm method because I was struggling to keep my party leveled I feel dirty
Wuzzat?
Whats a light revenant method?
This one: https://youtu.be/tl1iZ1VLTVs
My party was in the low 20’s so this is helping bring them up to at least 30’s, it’s not the fastest but its working for me pretty good
Ah. Decent I guess.
I don't know what is more retarded, grinding for any reason that isn't to get to lv99 for the memes or this stupid unoptimized method that doesn't use A Step Ahead or the lv55 dungeon.
That method is intended to be a gap closer. You don't go straight to the level 55 dungeon, you need some power first.
all you need is merchant and step ahead
I used A Step Ahead, Scholar's encounter reducer, Cleric's better chance to run and Partitio cheese to get into very late game towns. Proceeded to steal what I could and use Partitio's hires for better selling and cheaper buying, then bought way better equipment at around level 18 or so. Now I can pretty much go anywhere and, while it may take a bit to kill some enemies and there's some dungeon bosses I don't have the setups for yet, I haven't had any real issues.
>farming in octopath game
How?
Do you skip optional areas?
Do you recruit only 4 members and leave the rest after you complete chapters with the first party?
Do you run away from encounters?
Scholar in OT3 better be a girl.
>Women
>Scholars
?
he meant irl obviously
is the gatcha even good
If you pay, yes.
fuck no
When does the MC party slot unlock? I chose Hikari and im barely chapter 3
when you beat his story.
For the recent update that nerfed Hunter's Bow, did it also nerf Negotiate Schedule on Galdera?
Hunters bow nerf?
What?
Hunter's Bow used to be a 25% chance to use a skill twice, now it's a slim chance to apply a random debuff. I'm looking for the changes the update did since there isn't really a patch note.
Ok apparently it still works, but not during invulnerability phase. Still broken lmao.
are these guys fucking
>two guys are friends
>MUST BE GAY
have a nice day
genuinely hate that shit. Can't even have two guy characters be cool with each other without a deluge of fujos trying to ship them together
>woman exists
>MUST be a whore who will bear my children
have a nice day first
literally no one says this. Besides, anyone who would bear my children would never be a whore
>literally no one says this
Wrong.
>anyone who would bear my children would never be a whore
Wrong.
have a nice day you dirty smelly fujoshit
I don't think they're actually gay, but you have to be really clueless if you don't see the blatant fujobait they put into their relationship. Fujos love that shit and they know it, you can't blame them for shipping them.
That's a perfect assessment. Since the story is so short and Crick's life is even shorter they need to speed along character interactions and it genuinely seems vaguely romantic in how quick they are to 'get' each other. Especially Temenos, he warms up to Crick really quick. I don't blame the game for this really, it's just part of truncated storytelling.
Temenos is just amused by Crick's naivety. Crick has absolute blind faith in the organization of the church rather than the religion itself and Temenos is entertained by how easy it is to get under his skin by doing things the church wouldn't outwardly approve of. This was likely his attitude before what happened to Roi so Crick reminds him of his younger self.
Anon I get what you’re saying but this game is hardly subtle
Why do you care? do you feel tempted to fuck your friend?
>it's "character starts delivering the final monologue of the chapter before a boss battle" episode
What the fuck i'm supposed to do with little shit in gravell and his posessed soul sucking demon toy?
If you are trying to get the stuffed toy, you can't.
No, the kid related to the staff is a different kid. There is no way to get teh stuffed toy.
i already got the staff
is the kid just more dev trolling and doesn't do anything of actual value?
:^)
Go there at level 5 with no gear and no money and you'll get wrecked. You need something to start with.
ah yes, the lv48 dungeon is surely the place to go then
Where the fuck is the tin toy? Like the only area i haven't yet visited is ku
Wellgrove department store
>night store, specifically so you maybe will forget to check because all night item obtaining methods fucking suck
ebin
So I beat the game and epilogue but still have questions. Do any of these get answered before Galdera?
What was the actual point of Agnea? Nothing ties her to the main story. Partitio is barely tied in by causing Ori some internal conflict.
Roi appears to get turned into the monster from Ochette's first chapter. I assume this is Harvey's doing but what happened to the Darkblood Bow?
What happened to Vados? Did Kaldena kill him and erase him from all records or did she release him?
What happened to Harvey? Really expected him to appear in the final chapter.
They set up Throne as being some sort of Vessel needed for Vide according to the notes about Claude and then this is never expanded upon
Is the extinguishing of the Sacred Flame on Toto'haha what triggered the Scarlet Moon? If so, why didn't similar things happen where the other flames were extinguished?
>What happened to Vados? Did Kaldena kill him and erase him from all records or did she release him?
killed. the blood in the graveyard is his
So was Vados dying part of the Moonshade Orders plan? It seems he had his own mission that was stopped when Kaldena killed him but the still needed her to get the book and perform the rite.
>So was Vados dying part of the Moonshade Orders plan?
Kaldena was never a part of the Moonshade Order since they were the ones who killed her clan. She killed him to screw them over and get hold of Vide's power but you know how that ended for her.
>What happened to Vados?
you literally see him dead mid chapter 4 were you even paying atention?
>What happened to Harvey?
the old ass trope of trying to draw so much power he gets deleted instead
I remember now. Temenos was my main character and I tried to get through him quickly so I could take him out of my party so that was 70 hours game time like 3 weeks ago.
I really need to reread the notes. The flashback scene with Petrichor has that sepia filter so it's hard to say. They should have had it in color or obvious scarlet coloring around the edges or something to emphasize that was during, not before, the Scarlet Moon.
Agnea's actions don't have any particular effect on Tanzy though like Partitio did on Ori, it was literally just a chance meeting. You could make the argument that anyone Tanzy had met since committing to Arcanette filled the same role as Agnea. I'll give you the part about themes though.
I know she wasn't a part of it, but she was being used by them without her knowing so it seems like they valued the purpose she was supposed to fulfill over Vados.
Follow-up question to all of this Did Ori intentionally scatter her notes across Fellsun Ruins in hopes that Partitio and gang would find them? She could say she did her job of extinguishing the flame, but also gave the travelers the knowledge and chance to stop Vide
The vessel for Vide thing is what Claude was created to be, but he decided to make his own vessel to take the role for him. The current iteration of the Moonshade Order went along with it, presumably because their mission changed from "incarnate our god in a mortal vessel" to "ritually kill ourselves to summon our god and kill the world for us".
Harvey's fate feels like sequel, DLC, or mobile game tie-in hook material.
The Night of the Scarlet Moon is independent from the extinguishing of the Sacred Flame. I may be remembering the flashback scene wrong, but I'm pretty sure Petricor was using the chaos of the Scarlet Moon as a distraction so she could sneak into the Flame's location and get the Darkling to kill her near it.
>Harvey
I'm fairly certain he got consumed by the purple stink and died and that journal just has the typo of the century in it. There's no way they would drop something like that and then never elaborate on it.
>not making it your life's duty to mug every NPC in the game
ngmi
>every npc holding anything valuable is stupidly high level and can easily oneshot his frail ass
>by the time you have enough firepower you can just entreat instead
mug is the worst path action
>Also gain experience, JP and money in addition to the items
Mug is the best path action
I got the Forbidden Staff before I even hit level 30 so unironically skill issue
>What was the actual point of Agnea? Nothing ties her to the main story.
Tanzy. Also her plot is the one that's the most tied to the overall themes of the game
>What happened to Harvey? Really expected him to appear in the final chapter.
He died when he exploded against Osvald. The note mentioning he survived was a typo, it should be Osvald
You know what im just going to say it
Decisive Battle II in Octopath 1 sounds better
>end of game
>osvald's damage still sucks
i'm not dedicating a whole team to buffing this guy
Look at Armsmaster and figure it out.
i'm not wasting armsmaster on him
I think his point is that the game favours physical damage over elemental damage in the endgame.
I liked him with armsmaster and the arcanist skill that equalizes elemental and physical atk
Put the ice boosting weapons and the battle tested axe on him as an armsmaster, I saw someone recommend that and now he's retarded
>battle tested axe
Isn’t this a 2% drop? Does the game actually get that hard to necessitate grinding for it
You can steal or mug it off of someone. I forgot who.
Ah thanks, guess the guide I’m using is outdated then. Is there an NPC who has the battle tested dagger too?
Plukk in Winterbloom, post-Castti
Thanks anon
farm the 2% drop from the old man on the second floor of the clockbank tavern
you need one for your whole team, anon. Trust me.
You can get one post-Temenos off the beastling guide.
>i'm not dedicating a whole team to buffing this guy
You just need Scholar Partitio to turn 1 Alephan's Wisdom Osvald and you're good to go
>Throné last chapter
>woman moment
Am I the only one who didn't expect Father's big sprite to be that scrawny and ugly? I thought he would look better
it really feels like they ran out of time/money so some models are fuck like father looking completely unlike its overworld sprite and women bosses having a copypasted base sprite
Father was supposed to be a lesser copy of Claud.
It served it purpose.
where is the Sunken Maw that's supposedly in the "east"?
It takes less time to google search it then posting here, retard.
one of the clockbank roads, go into it with the boat
What was the story of House Wellows again? I vaguely remember an NPC talking about the manor burning down or something of the sorts. Did the mysterious box have any lore to it?
it's a disappointing sidequest
the quest sure. but the place is eerie with the ghost NPCs and battles without music. i like it. i think i also remember the lore implying they were an important House in the region. guess i'll have to go around inquiring again to piece it together.
dont do it
but i NEED to know. i need my lore.
What is the high testosterone/straight male party combination?
The OCTA group.
Osvald, Partitio, Temenos, Throne. Pretty sure Throne has more testosterone than Hikari
3 out of 4 of the males are gay, so no luck there. the only straight guy, Hikari, is also very soft
>gay goggles glued to your head
must be a sad existence
I'm pretty happy dude
>Temenos sucking Crick's dick every night
>Partitio sucking Alrond's dick every night and wanting his used toilet paper
>Osvald sucking Harvey's dick every night while being a cuck
They have no friends, that's why they think two male characters can't be friends, no they have to be gay
found the closet homo
>N-NOO THEY AREN'T GAY THEY AREN'T GAAYY
imagine being mindbroken by fujos and not just playing the game.
>bro just let the gays run rampant and talk about their gross fetishes in public
nah
Rent free
lmao oof
back to twitter LBGTrannies
I'm from /cm/ you're just a lolcow.
Didn't ask.
Partitio loves cock
there's no straight explanation for this
they stimulate each other every night to evaluate their physique
Slutty alcoholic merchant needs correction
The more you complain the more they will post, I hope you know that. Unless you start spamming gore you won't discourage anyone.
Partitio factually takes many penis as an adaptation
Only Hikari is straight, my dude. Him with three girls might be the straightest thing
Just finished Castti 3 and WOOF. I suspected something like that was going on but not the execution
Is there any location where I can BUY BP Energizing Pomegranates?
Yes.
Cool. You want to tell me where?
No.
i really hate posters like you
>throwing away your weapons
You haven’t forgotten her, right?
bootleg Ori
Of course I did, she's shit
Of course I remember you, Ori.
>Octopath 1
>Newfag Fujos who are just starting the story post therion x alfyn art
>No one cares because we're too busy seething about the final chapter.
>Octopath 2
>Same thing
>Literal schizo sperg out and multiple replies
Finish the game you gay.
Am I retarded? Nothing's happening. It worked fine in the last location.
anon I think the glowing statues would be the big hint here
yeah they tell me to use the mirror, and then when I use it it tells me nothing happens and that they gaze upon the dais
Partitio and Osvald need to be in the party together you stupid monkey
I wish Evasive Maneuvers could stack. Bravely Default let you straight up turn off encounters if you didn't want them
I forgot about that feature. I really wish we had it here, the most fun I have fighting chapter bosses are when I'm underleveled and have to scrape out victories.
Honestly what would also help is just straight up doubling or tripling boss HP across the board. It's silly when I can knock off half a boss's healthbar with one cast from Osvald.
Bravely Default also has thief class that doesn't suck balls
>using thief over ninja
>or any other physical
but why outside of meme bow shit?
>better classes is better
no shit
the point was that someone hates thieves and they couldn't even get baseline shit like stealing hp/sp nor stealing is ever useful because you just get more drops you could get by murdering shit faster anyway
They probably just don't know what to do with it.
Is it better to do 2 teams of 4 or just do the chapters in recommended level order?
2 teams of 4 if you aren't a massive pussy
I think I'll try this. Any chars have blatant synergy or can I just use whoever? Main is Oswald if that matters.
lol
Scholar Partitio. Osvald can also suck his BP because of base Merchant, but overall anyone should work.
Really like using Dancer divine skill on Temenos overheal. After that is set up you can just go on the offensive for like 4 turns straight until you need to heal again.
Whichever you want. It's not like this game is difficult
Solo the story with their respective character if you aren't a massive pussy
Uninstall the game if you aren't a massive pussy
Solistia is honestly full of fucking gays, they have an entire tropical resort island filled with cute dumb fluffy wives and this shit is somehow isn't absolutely swarmed by takers
that's mufasa's harem island
Shrouded King is such bullshit
>Osvald's story begins with him PTSDing over his dead family in prison
>Throne's story begins with her killing her childhood sweetheart
>Agnea's story just has her fight a fat boar
Kek, are the western continent stories meant to be more lighthearted?
I don't think war and genocide are lighthearted, but yeah the 2 lighthearted stories are in the western continent
>bases his opinion off of his first character, which happens to be the idol
happy merchant is borderline the same
with enough asspulling muh friends can be lumped into the same category
>Kek, are the western continent stories meant to be more lighthearted?
Nope, it's only Agnea and Partitio. Everyone else is fucked up on some level. Throné and Osvald are probably the most fucked up though.
Oh nice. I wasn't expecting apothecary's story to be serious.
it's the most fucked up one
maybe for this exact reason the supposed to be healer is actually a dps abusing status and debuffs
Hey, Alfyn was an honest, happy guy curing illness and he still dished out completely retarded amounts of damage.
i don't remember alfyn spamming 5 digit damage in like chapter 2
I remember in Octo 1 the Scholar was able to do multiple AEO spells at once, is that not a thing anymore in this game?
Learn the Advanced Magic skill
For Throne's Chapter 2: Father's Route, is there a way to save the Exhausted Woman? Or is she always gone by the time you finish the boss.
You find her dismembered violated and partially eaten body in a cage later on. It's to exemplify to you how easy Throné actually has it
>You find her dismembered violated and partially eaten body in a cage later on
what
I bet you also missed the cutscene where Roque runs over Ori with the train and bisects her
The game gets pretty dark.
is it in chapter 5?
I was honestly pretty surprised to see prostitution in a cutesy JRPG. There's also some of the scrutinize text like the woman who's cheating on her husband.
Feels nice playing a more raw JRPG. The world's usually feel so sanitized.
>Feels nice playing a more raw JRPG. The world's usually feel so sanitized.
You should try playing some other JRPGs besides just Persona
Persona is one of the raw ones though. First chapter of 5 is literal sexual harassment and rape.
>Persona is one of the raw ones
Plus stuff like the catgirl sex slave in one of the *starting towns*.
.
Magic concoct Castti with alp amulet is hilarious.
>try to nerf all the op shit from the original
>concoct is still every bit as broken as it was
