Of the ones I've played
RSE>DP>Legends Arceus>FRLG>HGSS>XY>USUM>ORAS>BDSP>BW>RB
My first was Blue and I didn't get the hype, thought Final Fantasy was much better, didn't play again until Sapphire and I finally got it. Fantastic game. Because of it I got Leaf Green, which is a MUCH better game than Blue. Forgot about Pokemon for a while then got back into it when I got a 3DS and got X, which was fun, actually quite enjoyable, and I still play it sometimes. It also got me back into Pokemon. After that I got Ultra Moon which I was told was the better version of Moon. It's ok. I don't hate it but I don't play it much and don't plan on beating it any time soon. The presentation is fantastic though. Because I was bored with UM I decided to give Pearl a try and, man, that's a frickin great game. It takes everything I enjoyed with Sapphire and puts a fresh spin on it. A while later I decided to get SoulSilver because I found a great price on eBay, ($65cad, but I live in the US so it was like $47, complete and in great condition, I jumped on it.) While I admittedly haven't played much I do like what I see, better than some others. Around this time I also found a copy of White for a decent price too so I got that. I honestly tried to give it a fair chance but I hated it. It was awful. There's just something in it that's missing. Maybe the setting, I don't know. I just recently sold it, it wasn't worth me playing any further. Legends Arceus was a gift and is a very fun game, though a very different type of game. Alpha Sapphire was next followed by Shining Pearl. I'm lumping them together because, from what I've seen, they are both very faithful remakes of the original, but it also feels like it's missing something. Like something was lost during the remake to 3D. Like rather than being a careful update they're a forgery. Plagiarism but by the same company, if that makes sense. Thinking about this makes me wish I still had my copy of LeafGreen.
i like platinum, emerald, hgss, and frlg cause that's what i grew up with
The best reason
You need to work on articulating your thoughts better; nowhere in your post do you actually detail what you like or dislike about any of these games. Also I’m not inclined to care about the opinions of somebody who admittedly doesn’t finish the games.
Sorry for no 50k word essay, autist, but the character limit is 2k. What more do you want to know?
wats u favorite pokemon song
Hau'oli city night theme and SoulSilver's battle theme.
>Sorry for no 50k word essay
You already wrote a lot just to say nothing of value. You can remove all the text after your meme ranking and nothing would change.
When did you quit BW? 4th gym?
On the route between the first and the second before I even made it to that town. It was boring and tedious, the design of the world, the characters, the Pokemon, even the music was unappealing to me. I'm not the type to just slog through games hoping I get to a good part, if it's not enjoyable to me then I don't play it. I've quit a lot of games for that.
Lmfao even more embarrassing than expected
I honestly think it's more embarrassing to waste time on a videogame that one doesn't like, but whatever makes your little penis hard, big man.
>that one doesn't like
You didn’t even play the game.
Holy shit finally some good fricking opinions that don't look like some Poketuber/Twitter personality tier garbage that the npcs here just copy/paste.
Based and correct.
Thanks anon, that's one of the reasons I made this thread, I keep seeing regurgitated opinions and wanted to give my take on what I've played without sounding like I got my reasoning from someone else.
>People who like XY/USUM - people who don’t play the games
>People who hate BW/2 - people who don’t play the games
I find this poetic.
The entire fricking appeal of Gen 5 was that it was for people who didn't play Pokemon prior, moron kun
Go play an actual story based rpg and shit up another fandom.
yeah i don't know how you could like gen vii but not like gen v. alola is just muttmova on steroids, bland shitty linear region, gay cutscenes everywhere, never ending tutorials
many people found bw a slog that was a struggle to finish, myself included
you have a fricking disability
First impressions are dire. If a game bores me right off the bat then why is it worth my time. I need to be captivated immediately. I can understand why another person would give a game that doesn't capture their interest another chance, but if you don't agree that first impressions matter then you're a liar to me, the thread, and yourself and you should have a nice day, because you're a subhuman.
Bro he meant be more concise not even more long winded
Where is Kyogre?
I am not reading that. Nice picture.
The artist has done a few more, I'll be glad to post them.
This is the last I could easily find.
I suppose it is rather clam/scallop -like
thanks, I like the marine ones
>got X
>It also got me back into Pokemon.
many people have said this
Because it's simply a damn good game. Not just a good Pokemon game, but a good overall game. Great balance, great world design, fun cast of characters, overall just a perfect game. I considered ranking it higher, honestly.
I couldn't stand it, and I can't really point a finger as to why. Maybe the seasons gimmick. They were too short and rotated too often. Maybe, as I said earlier, the world. I want nothing to do with New York. Hell, maybe I just said "Frick it" too early and didn't give it a fair shake. But I do know that I just wasn't enjoying myself so I got rid of it.
>Great balance
NPC mons literally don't even have full movesets
>great world design
what about the literal hallway route
>what about the literal hallway route
Which one?
i fricking kneel.
What a frickin moron
>USUM
>It's ok.
>didn't beat it
You are a fricking moron
>Rates FRLG as the 4th best and RB as the worst
So fricking stupid
you're a fricking troll not reading the rest of this post
