but i have to admit that the game has a lot of soul and is fun
there are some aspects i dont like such as the talking flowers, the new mario catch phrases, and the badges
but overall its another fun 2d mario game
we've waited 11 years for this and i am happy with it

I don't understand why devs can be forced to make Fifa 17, Call of Duty 14 and Assassin's Creed 11 and that's fine but they can't be forced to make something good.

i just played psuedoregalia and it was fricking amazing, its pretty much my final hope for 3d platformers

I cannot believe all these middle of the road reviews. for every decent level there is a shitty one, all of the bosses are a slog, the special stage and the sonic 1 special stages are not fun, and the music sucks
for the record, i pirated both sonic and mario because I hate sega and nintendo at this point. I havent gotten very far enough in wonder to have a solid opinion, but the last few mario games really bored me and im reluctant to play more than 4 stages.
the last time I really liked a mario game was like...nsmb DS. but I have played the shit out of sonic games, so my attention to detail and effort is way more critical. god why cant they just try the partner system from advance 3 again, it was so good
