Buriedbornes, Jobmania, Anima ARPG, Shattered Dungeon.
Buriedbornes is so fricking fun
all look like shit
Based pixel graphics filtering zoomie shitters.
Zoomers are the ones who keep still making and playing pixel shit.
Filtered lmao. Any zoomzoom homosexual who doesn't like Buriedbornes should be gunned down for stealing oxygen.
Another vote for buriedbornes, love that game and also I Love Hue for a small and kinda cute but fun sorting game
>buriedbornes
>offline
It is offline unless you have low IQ.
Uh, explain.
Buriedbornes and b100x are both 10/10 games
I liked the first one, how its B100X Dungeon?
I haven't played it that much, it's less complex when compare to Buriedbornes, it's more on the item stat autism instead of schizo builds.
And for some reason, there's a 3D anime girl in the screen.
I play billiards to pass the time
More like homosexualturds
Philistine.
same
>Ascension card game
Deckbuilder, port of the physical game.
>Night of the Full Moon
Picrel, something like slay the spire, based on Dream Quest.
>Emulators
If you emulate, you have top quality gaming in your pocket that overshadows anything ever released on mobile.
Buriedbornes is excellent, and so is Night of the Full Moon, as stated.
Emulators are also good (I really only emulate gameboy games or N64 games). Burrito Bison is also good to pass the time.
NOTFM needs more content.. Less classes more content please...
Full moon is fantastic. Sank a lot of time in that
>you have top quality gaming in your pocket that overshadows anything ever released on mobile
Controls suck though, so I basically only ever play SNES RPGs and Pokemon.
Any tips or solutions for this? I tried bluetooth controllers and such but they're bulky, flaky, and annoying to bring along.
If you're serious about playing emulators, invest in a Razer kishi. It collapses so it's not too bulky and uses a direct connection so there's no lag and you don't need to worry about charging it.
How do i know if this one supports me phone? list of Razer website just says "and many other Android devices". i have a ROG Phone 1 (the original version from 2018).
Doesn't that phone have its own controller that's almost identical?
Requires a USB-C port, plug and play.
>If you emulate, you have top quality gaming in your pocket that overshadows anything ever released on mobile.
So fricking true, anon, i have emulated all console generations till PS2 on my phone
How do you emulate? I hate most mobile games I've come across and just want something good to play.
Download an emulator and find the least sketchy website that lets you download ROM files.Pick a game you want to play, download it.Open your emulator and there should be a load file option, your game should appear there.Tap it and it will boot up.Most systems you can find emulators for on the appstore, juat type in [system] emulator and pick one.
TL;DR The process is exactly the same as on PC
could this work for Chrono trigger and other FF games? I don't want to shell out $10 on old ass game
Yeah you may as well just get a SNES emulator for chrono. That's what I did.
>download emulator
>download romsets from archive.org
>???
>profit
>Night of the Full Moon
This one is real nice. I'm f2p so I only have the knight and magician to use. After beating the secret boss in the final chapter, is there a point in playing in the harder difficulties?
of the Full Moon
pretty fun game, shame im a boomer and don't know how to pirate mobile games.
>notfm
>adds autobattler
>i hate it
>but its fun
>Night of the Full Moon
One of the best mobile games I have ever player, also bought it on steam and 100%ed it there too, it's just fun, hope one day we can reunite RRH and her future-self/alternative-self/sister Black Swan
Yeah I just have an emulated PSP on my phone, and I can bluetooth to a PS4 controller, also Kotor 1 and 2 are both on the playstore, and those work well even without the controller. Most phone games kinda just blow shit when stacked against peacewalker or valkyria chronicles
Should add also that I have PSX and gameboy as well, so I have all the classic RE games, tekken 3, romance of the three kingdoms and a couple others
Simon Tatham's Puzzles is all I need against boredom.
I also have Antiyoy (still over a hundred scenarios to beat) and Inbento (frustratingly hard later on but I'm sure I can beat it eventually).
baba is you
quell
slay the spire
enchanted cave 2
dungeon warfare 2 (best TD in mobile)
Space Rangers on emulator
Nice choice Boris, KGB give you promotion soon.
Thanks bratooha. Heroes 3 hota are also a good choice.
MiniDayz
There’s a symphony of the night port for $3
Controls like shit but it’s the full game
You can use a controller for it and obviously it plays a lot better.
already platinum'd it on ps4
100% it again on your phone, chud
>Digital editions of this game are dirt cheap while the green label for PS1 goes around for over $200 on ebay
The hell. I have two of those sitting around. When did games become so overpriced?
because the ps1 discs are a "collector's item" that are no longer being produced. they are bought by nobody but adult nostalgiagays (who have more money than sense, usually because they have no family or children to spend money on). nobody else bothers collecting old physical videogame media instead of just pirating+emulating (or buying a rerelease)
Speaking of which, pic related is its spiritual successor and also on mobile
rotn is shit sadly
I just play emulated psx on my phone.
How is it on iOS? I know Android can damn near run anything so not too worried about that
Chimera Recollect
Void Pyramid
DATA WING
seconding Void Pyramid, it's really good
how is Chimera Recollect? seen people recommend it before but the gameplay videos on the store seem kinda ehhh
it's very good, if you like vidya stories with thick LORE and cute characters it's a must play
the gameplay itself is also fun since it has lots of RPG elements and customization but it does gets a bit repetitive after a while
Played both DATA WING and Chimera Recollect. I recommend both, for sure
>DATA WING
excellent taste anon
Data wing is phenomenal
is Chimera Recollects story just poorly written or am I just too fricking stupid for mobile game plot? the ending is great n all but I swear it feels like theres so much unresolved shit in there
I am not sure if it was released in pieces or complete, but it absolutely feels like they kept changing who the chimera was in the "real" world every so often.
It's a lore heavy game, except there aren't 20 Youtubers dissecting Zanzibart's bio and backstory so you have to actually pay attention.
I don't think it ever "changes", but I agree this part was poorly conveyed. Through elimination you can just figure Chimera is probably either Mother or Brother, except the ending reveals it can't be neither since Mother turned into the World Tree and Brother is Merchant, so I just assumed he was the dog mentioned in the final memories but yeah it was a bit confusing. The fight with the Dragon in the postgame does seems to support this though, since he says he'll bring back your real form and then gives you Small Animal R.
>I just assumed he was the dog mentioned in the final memories
yep, this happens 5 mins into the game lol
finally after some pestering from /vmg/ got around beating CR
holy fricking shit THAT ENDING, thanks for the recs bros
like data wing
hate the controls
Play Dungeon Maker bro
Its super addicting
miitomo, a lot of people gave it shit and it had no content, but i really did make the most out of it when i played. it helped that there were others with me who did the same. past all that though it was cool to be one of the fancy users who had a miitomo icon who had actual cosmetics on. the snowman mask will always be funny
if nintendo does a miitomo again i'd like them to mix miitopia's total creative freedom of miis with it, but that's a crap shoot in hell lol
If they revive Miitomo they should go the Tomodachi Life route the problem with the original was like you said no content aside from answering questions of course you could always turn it in to shitposting material like /mii/ did when it was around but that was all there was to it there was no reason to go back
there is a private server for it at least
https://kaeru.world/projects/kaerutomo
moonshades is cool
Patrician taste.
I think I like the card game in moonshades more than the actual game itself. Are there other games that have moonshade's card mini game as the main focus?
>gotta sign into your google account to play
the frick is this homosexualry
>dungeon maker
Is possible to crack dlc in any way? No fricking way I'm paying for a extra gams mode that, not only should be in the base game, but also costs MORE than thr game's base price
$42 IAP in a paid game. Fricking lmao
all the actual IAPs are skins, besides the expansion pack. don't tell me you pay to skip unlocks
nethack for mobile?
tinder and facebook
What are some good offline games that also have cute waifus, so far I feel like I need to play gacha if I want that on my phone.
Potion maker if you're ok with minimal gameplay.
Cool I guess I'll check 'em out, thanks friends.
Any cool games that use vertical perspective and dont look like shit at 20:9 aspect ratio? Anime or card game would be nice
This one is neat
WitchSpring series
Also Dungeon Maker if you don't mind more grind than your average '90s MMO
Do I need to play the witchspring ones in order or something? Or can I just jump to the 4th?
Try shining nikki
holy moly this is so girly. call me filtered or anything but, too much waifu on this one. how's the gameplay tho?
Anyone have more cute waifu games that are playable offline? I got cucked by like 5 gachas and I just wanna collect women.
what are they so i know what to avoid
Infinitode 2 is a better TD than Dungeon Warfare and TheoTown is good city builder.
I started to play Infinitode 2 two weeks ago, this game is a blast. I love the simple design and all the upgrades available.
for me, I found it pretty fun until I hit the 6th chapter, after which it's just an endless grind for upgrades
touhou thousand night anamnesis
>going to download it
>realize I have it but in japanese
Ah, God fricking dammit.
Soul knight is my fave
Love that game
day r survival
cataclysm dda
Bloons TD 5/6, Wayward Souls, Goblin Sword, Impossible Game, Monument Valley 1&2, Strategery, Shredder Chess
Caves
Roguelike dungeon crawler
Aside from some good ones already mentioned:
Star Traders: Frontiers
DCSS
Unciv
Uciana
Meteorfall / Krumit's Tales
Pathos: Nethack Codex
Moncage
XCOM
Frontiers art style is hideous, completely killed the game for me
How to people play Nethack or any other hardcore roguelike on a phone keyboard? They're great games but I can't imagine being able to manage the actual commands.
>C:DDA
remembers the 10-15 most used keys in a toolbar-like fashion so you don't have to click that much, or pull out its keyboard every time. Otherwise, it's 2-3 clicks per action. It's all muscle memory after a few hours of playing.
>DCSS
static keyboard is pretty inclusive of most basic actions albeit small (because of numpad). Non-basic actions can be performed in 2 clicks max and macros work well.
>Pathos
full touchscreen and long-press controls. Pretty neat.
Soul Knight
Are there any cute anime-style offline games with actual gameplay? I tried dungeon maker but you barely do anything there, just put troops and let them do the fighting, it is pretty boring and the "player" doesn't really matter much.
Maybe i didn't understood the game (there is no tutorial or guides).
Dungeon Maker gets more involved after a short while as you start getting spells n shit but yeah, it's still a spin on the tower defense genre at its heart
and once you start unlocking spells, you're then hit by the wall of grind you'll be forced to endure to unlock more content
if you don't mind paying Witchspring is probably the best, Chimera Collect is also fine and it's definitely "cute" but not sure if it's "anime" enough for you
some really good ones already mentioned
I also want to mention Cardinal Quest 2, and Grim Quest, for whoever wants to try them
I'm looking for more roguelike RPGs
I also got a BT controller for phone games, anyone knows any good game controller-compatible? So far I've played Minecraft, Terraria, Soul Knight, and Don't Starve with it, but only stuck to playing Minecraft so far (alongside some SK runs here and there).
Chaos rings III
Grimvalor
lat-scroll souls-like
I missed Infinity Blade
>they cancelled the Diablo style spin off
Fricking hell
>just advanced enough to be engaging
>just streamlined enough to not have to justify being mobile
>gameplay
>replay value
>cool story
>DLC
>cool fake Latin language
Fricking Hell I hate Apple and Fortnite
Those motherfrickers I had the first game downloaded but it wouldn't launch, gave me a compatibility warning or some shit. Then I forgot about it and turned on the iOS feature that replaces installed software with a placeholder and a snapshot of its last session, saves configs etc. I cannot get it back just to gaze at bitterly. I paid $21 for this shit.
I understand you can play them on an Android emulator but I'm too lazy to try it.
You can still play them if u have an apple ios device and any laptop. There's a tutorial to safely sideload the games on youtube I think under infinity blade studios's channel.
Looking for hunting or fishing games.
what style? cartoonish, realistic, etc
Realistic
Bump
9th Dawn 3, it’s one sale from $10 to $4
Surprisingly really fun
Cats are Liquid and Namelees cat are both fun platformers. The former is physics based and has a jankier, earlier version available on the app store I don't remember the name of.
Cardinal Quest 2
Soul knight
The game has gotten so much better over the years, even the art has become better
Never played it on phone but star traders frontiers is one of those games where you can easily burn 100's of hours
Star Traders Frontiers is unfortunately not really a mobile game. You can PLAY it on mobile, and its fricking fantastic game barring its atrocious character art, but its not comfortable. Its predecessor however, Star Traders RPG, is a very very good mobile game that I cant recommend enough. I still play it regularly.
Another game by them that I highly recommend is Templar Battleforce. Which is a sort of blend of Space Hulk with Xcom. Its very, VERY good.
A little preview of the tech tree for upgrades and weapons you can give your power armored dudes.
Doodle Jump
Any good sites for pirating these? Particularly the Witch spring series, can't seem to find a non-modded version of those anywhere
Nethack is fun. Along the same lines some guy put out a solid android port of tiles Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup and DCSS Bloatcrawl 2.
powder
Is Elona mobile any good?
Decent but far from the original game. It's still random af though.
What is the best heroes of might and magic 3 HD alternative ? Any thoughts ?
An older game, but it checks out.
>not playing the superior version: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/180Y12cQpKzTJiI3rJAhUBzYCi0guMvpP
thanks anon, I always knew there should be a non shitty version of plants vs zombies 2
What's the difference vetween easy abd official? Which do I usem
official is harder than ez mode. try ez mode then if it's too ez then do official mode ya dummy
Underhand, short on content but a great ride while it lasts
Any recommendations on a good GBA emulator? Looking to play old Pokemon games on iPhone.
Looking for the least sketchy source possible for both emulator and ROMs. Thanks!
Johnemulators has good (meaning simple) premium and free emulators; only problem is recently it has tracked ads. But it's good if you just turn the internet off.
For roms I recall Romsmania being decent
Isn't Johnemulators known for stealing code from better and cheaper emulators for profit? Why should anyone use it if they can get the original instead?
chances are people are stealing the games so i doubt they give a shit who makes what as long as it works.
I remember there was VBA for mobile but I can not find it
I remember it because I was playing FireRed on my phone and my friend was playing Minish Cap
It was years ago
nth for pokemon on emulator
Just use "my boy!"? for GBC it's "my old boy"
Too lazy to list.
On emulators,i mostly play turnbased games like fire emblem, dragon quest, breath of fire etc.
Calm the frick down there ETAPrime. No one is "saying" that your a homosexual or anything.
homosexual.
How well does the 3ds emulator run?
I'm using the one from playstore.
Poco x3 nfc
I wouldn't recommend using it. A bit slow and laggy at times if you want to use internal resolution x2. At x1 setting it runs a bit better. This is how it looks at x1. But if you turn off the audio then there are moments i wouldn't have noticed it on x2.
There wasn't an update for a year now. So i'm it could improve with the next big patch if it ever happens.
If you plan to use Citra the developers reccomd snapdragon 835 or better.
X2 resolution
how do I get plants vs zombies 2 working on android?
I put its obb data yet it stucks on downloading data and google play services
also if ptw mod/fix would be better
Do you have any Java games in mind?
Terraria
Nations in Combat is what I've been playing lately. It's kind of like antiyoy, but with diplomacy and resource trading. Campaigns/play throughs can take days to finish.
based, hard to learn at first but fun once you get the hang of it but icbms ruin the game and it has some bugs, i have bought the full version
There's a game like Orcs and Elves for the (NDS) for andriod?
Deadly dungeons?
To contribute: Clickpocalypse 2 (idle)
Gyro boss (le very hard game)
KemonoRogue (roguelike)
Marginalia Hero ( kind of a timing battle minigame)
Progressbar 95 (idle?)
The dark book (skelly rpg)
Wandroid (Wizardry)
And look up SORAIS publisher, got some touhou mobile ports
Reading the answers we could make an Buriedbornes General
Good. Half that game is in moon runes. I need documentation.
I often play these games:
>Rogue Adventure
Deck builder heavily inspired on Slay the Spire.
>Magic Survival
You need to survive to hordes of weird enemies, gaining levels and learning new skills.
>Card Thief
You are a thief that needs to steal chests on a style card gameplay of stealth.
Galaxy Bird Flight
>A vertical oldschool pixel game which awards you for high scores with content, bosses, and progressively faster birds
Super hexagon
Any other games like Slay the Spire and Night of the Full Moon with good gameplay and lore?
Indies' Lies, maybe.
I play Minecraft. It's manageable on a touchscreen unless you have sausage for fingers. I have no issue, even though I consider myself a big guy. The only issue I have is that using an Elytra is a pain in the ass, shit doesn't render fast enough, but that could just be my old phone, no lag though. Going back to touchscreen controllers, the most recent snapshot or whatever is looking to upgrade them quite a bit, so you won't have to wait long for a rework if it bothers you much. By the way, the buttons on my screen are pretty close to max size, don't fret
>I consider myself a big guy
FOR YOU!!!
Which phone do you use to play Minecraft?
Book Reading Simulator
>tfw can't find a way to play Cinco paus on Android
I guess this is a good thread to ask since /wsr/ is kinda hit and miss.
Does anyone have a good offline game pack? I remember downloading some 1000 in 1 android pack that had apps and asphalt 8, it was one of the best games back then.
I'm mainly collecting j2me so I can use them on emulators for android
Gameloft Classics: 20 Years is the first thing to come to my mind
cardinal quest 2
Can someone remind me name of a 3d fantasy game where you protect your castle from evil forces (undead, orcs, spiders) summoning groups of minions like elves, dwarfs and humans and between waves go capture new lands. You could gear up your character as warrior, paladin or mage and had level system.
I'm asking for my girlfriend because she's tired of looking for games in the play store flooded with candy crush clones.
Similar games she liked:
>project makeover
>smurfs village
>cat & soup
Idle Slayer is pretty entertaining. Not something I would say is worth playing as a 'main' game, but if you have the storage space available I would download it if you want a game you can check in on every once in a while, even like once or twice a day just to spend 15-20 mins doing stuff and then forgetting about it while you play other games. At first I saw a few ads (voluntarily, you can watch like 10-15 sec clips to double up on the coins youve earned while the game was closed) but I havent gotten the offer to do that in the last few days. Def worth looking at as the game is super simple yet goes pretty deep and runs perfectly.
I honestly could recommend kairosoft games even if Some of them cost money.
Small comfy games that could run on any android phone.
dude, I downloaded Dungeon Village 2 yesterday. Really comfy old games.
where did you get your copy from?
apkhere, I think
which is the best one in your opinion? they are fricking shitting them out every 2 days seems like.
It really depends what "idea" you like. I for example play with Dungeon village (making a rpg town that helps characters to defeat the bad guys, kinda idle like just watching them grow stronger) and Beastie Bay (this is kind of like pokemon)
i was looking at pocket clothier because it reminded me of this game i played on the palm pilot from back in the day
fricking hell trying to find the v2.2.2 apk is a pain in the ass tho
I used to play kairosoft games at my last year of high school on my old galaxy grand prime 9 years ago. They literally run on any phone with android.
isn't because these games were made for Galapagos flip phones prior to the touchscreen boom in Japan?
I'm in search of paid games that meet a few criteria:
>no ads
>no IAP (unless the single IAP is unlocking the full game)
>not a port
Why is this so fricking hard? The Play Store is a sea of shit.
Implosion: Never Lose Hope
I'm going on a 12 hour flight next week, looking for games that draw you in to play for hours since it's gonna be a lot of idle time. So far I got Dead Cells, Don't Starve and considering Stardew Valley, any other recs? I'm taking a controller with me so emulators should be fine
As someone who had to often travel between states and SEA
I used to play those FF and DQ remake
Now I just sleep then watch some movies
I like those Kariosoft tycoon game as well like gamedev story
Epic battle fantasy is a good game too if you like turn based rpg.
Idk
Rogue Adventure is a pretty fun Slay the Spire styled game. It can be played offline, but you'll miss on some ad rewards that are pretty much mandatory at higher difficulties.
I played a ton of this and found the meta to involve going hard on strength and resistance. The magic fox and magic cat are too good.
Anyone know any fast paced action games, ideally something you can pick up and play
Candies n curses
This game needs more love and more porn
>character is depicted as early teenager
>shit for brains gives her E cup breasts
I fricking hate fricking moron coombrains so fricking much just die already holy shit.
Surprised no one mentioned Kemco games yet, or maybe not that many played those?
But now is a good time to try, especially for those who enjoys JRPGs like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy
My recommendation would be the Asdivine Dios, and its sequel Asdivine Menace. It got a pretty good lore for a mobile game, and of course there's the dating sim element and 3 heroines you can choose from(or you just can go full harem ending). Battle would be a turn-based 4-man party and you can see yours and the enemies' turn order.
Machine Knight is also good because there's this cool talent tree system and farming for mats thingy
Triglav is a pretty interesting diablo clone for ios
I like its colorful artstyle
>want to play kairosoft games
>oh nice they made like 30
>checks price
>they're $6.99 each
Pirate 'em.
Where's the best place for APKs? I don't know shit about Android piracy.
Mobilism
>could also use Sbenny. But there's a hebrew mechanism there where you have to watch ads just to see the link
>apkmody io
No wait time for downloads, usually have both clean and modded apk versions. I personally use this the most.
>pdalife ru
Similar to apkmody content-wise, both are hit or miss on virustotal's adware detection. Has its own app.
>modyolo com
Only used this recently but all I've downloaded from them are squeaky clean. Could be the best provider atm.
>sbenny com
Used to be great. Requires account and uses point system to "purchase" apks (although there are a lot of free ones); now requires you to enter the game code you "purchased" to play the game. I understand that it's a security/reupload issue, but still feels like bloat and bullshit.
>mobilism org
Used to be the best. Mostly 18+ games now as they stopped caring about regular games, but still useful for spotify and other utilities.
>moddroid co
Pretty good before the "you now need our app to dl games" era. Their own app is riddled with ads and there's no way to scan things now before installing since it installs directly to your device.
>all other sites
Mostly reuploads from one of the sites above.
>telegram groups
modded central channel - just spews all kinds of apps, good stuff
modyolo com - see above
apksapps - more of a community than a provider; people are okayish
>emulation
Just go to /emugen/, get roms from vimm net, theeye ru, or wherever you can.
Remember to always scan before you install.
Why does modyolo have their own installers?
I ask because i downloaded an app from mobilism the other day and it turned out to be a modyolo app with it's own installer which really spooked me
I have not tried that installer; I recommend to just download directly from their site, or their tg channel.
>Remember to always scan before you install.
Complete scrub here, what do you mean "scan"? As in downloading Avast on android and scanning it?
Upload the file to Virustotal. Most will return a false positive because of altered signature, but there are some with trojans, etc. Google whatever gets flagged so you can get an idea which ones are dangerous.
>Got Android.PUA.DebugKey flag and nothing else on Dragonquest 4
I guess that means its safe?
I looked it up and the answear I got was that 99% of the time it's just becuse it failed some signature check against the Google Play Store version of the app or something, but that just means that the APK is cracked, that it's old (the signature has expired) or that the version I scanned was never signed in the first place.
I got it from modyolo which some other anon it his thread recommended
>Scanned Dolphin emu and FF tactics APK
>Both came back completely clean
Ok frick it, I'm not risking it
https://t.me/ModdedCentral
They post everything that lands on mobilism
i've looked for them. have only seen outdated version that won't run and tries to connect to the internet and validate license. feelsbadman
Gonna play 50 hours more BABA
i had fun with kemco's raging loop. it's a pretty far departure from their usual JRPG fare. it's a timeloop VN based on the werewolf social deduction game that goes into meta shit akin to zero escape, umineko, etc. it's priced as a full game at $60, but cracks are out there. also on the switch i think? it's a worthwhile experience, and i hope kemco makes more story games like this.
Tried this out after seeing anon mention it.
I feel like the game won't always be this easy to snowball.
Flow, Simon Tatham's Puzzles, Minesweeper Classic: Retro, and F13: Killer Puzzle. I also remember enjoying the hack run series but haven't touched it in years so might not be as good as I remember
if you like minesweeper, “minesweeper: collector” is the best one there is. coming from someone who has tried many versions
just found out that the Sonic games can't be played offline. wtf
I think any version released before they were put on Sega Forever should be offline:
So for Sonic 1 that's 2017-06-22:
http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_the_Hedgehog_(2013_game)
2017-11-21 for Sonic 2:
http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_the_Hedgehog_2_(2013)
Plus 2018-02-01 for Sonic CD:
http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_the_Hedgehog_CD_(2011)
payback 2. stupid funny game
Warcher defenders, Swipe Casters, Pixel Stars, most of ogre pixel games are good
Anyone got Night of the full moon with all the dlcs? I got mine long time ago from platinmods, it seems like they added a new class, the mechanic or something like that and new areas, pic rel is what I currently have ver 1.5.1.23
I've been debating getting it just because for how nice the game is, it feels limited with one class.
>it feels limited with one class
Yeah, other classes completely change the way you play it's really good
I'll definitely look into it in the next day or two.
Really curious about magic, but it's kind of not feasible to try to fit that stuff in even ignoring how little I've actually seen.
Oh yeah, definitely a lot more fun having options.
Good lord this set up.
i like the picross luna games a lot. relaxing and stuff. i especially love solving the huge mosaics
Hello, OP of
here
Would you guys like to make a general in /vg/ for non-degenerate mobile games like the ones posted in these 2 threads?
These days it seems /vg/ is absolutely flooded with shitposting, probably the worst of all boards I visit. I like that /vmg/ is a bit slower and laid back. Of course that also means that threads can last for months.
would be nice to have a general for GOOD mobile games though, and they dont allow them here
I think them disallowing generals doesn't make sense. That'd be taking the generals from yet another video game board where they're disallowed and pushing them to /vg/. There's too much activity there to maintain niche threads and so it just ends up as a stream of threads with a dozen replies at the bottom of the board.
this is all my games, most of them are/can be played offline
you can't look at the catalog and say with a straight face that they're disallowing generals. we just have to do a better job of pooling all the small recommendation threads together into some sort of non-gacha "general" (again, not technically, but it'll basically be a general)
yeah exactly what i said to OP of the thread with the aqua pic. there are approx. 3 threads active right now discussing about non gacha games or offline games that are fun (or gacha games that are less shitty). we can totally make a general for games like that OP mentioned
why is that a problem? Mods allow the SCP-related general on /vst/
It is more of a self-made containment thread than a general.
Just create a new thread and link whatever you want. That's why you got a whole containment board.
And as if one of these threads are gonna survive a day in /vg/ without getting filled with useless bumps.
Would be awesome if it sticks to being stuff like offline with no casshop or something like that. If it become autistic shit like "no big booba waifu game requests" and/or "please read our fifty guidelines and rules" then I'm out.
JRPGs.
Endless JRPGs.
Please, tell me you didn't pay for those
Which phone?
Night of the Full Moon looks interesting. Is it worth playing the free version or should I just start with a modded one?
start from the free version first, and see if you actually enjoy it.
then proceed to either buy the DLC or pirate it. tho I personally would buy it cause I wanna support the devs.
Knight is a good taste of the game, but it's definitely a better game with access to other classes and the crazy shit they can do.
i like polytopia
played it a fair bit, but after like 5 hours it got stale
someone recommend me a strategy game for $4.99 or less ive got 5 bucks expiring on 27th
Dungeon of the Endless, it should be on sale right now.

psp and gba emulators are fine, but you lack the physical bumps and notches of the button so it may be had to get used to
Survivalcraft 2 has never let me down. 11 years and still going strong, god bless you Kaalus
reviews say that their map gets deleted
He's been very clear about prioritizing people with old version seeds of the game so they can also play with the new updates. I had some fairly old worlds that go many updates back and they never got deleted or corrupted from what I could see. Maybe some kids who played SC1 (free) got confused when SC2 came out, or some people got incredibly unlucky with the second to most recent update where he vastly increased the max possible terrain generation heights and lows. The game runs really smooth for me and I have never had an issues even since I started playing (when SC1 still borrowed its textures from MC, so basically forever) except for the rare dismounting glitch where you leave a boat or try to leap a horse and bonk into the ceiling and get instakilled. But the most recent update fixed it and I am back to playing it again
Regardless this is not going to be an issue if you simply start a fresh new seed. I actually remember now why: he made the world files vastly more efficient with compression and taking up space at one point like ~500mb to ~7mb (this was big because there was a strange pattern where if you were running out of space for worlds the biomes would stop being diverse and keep repeating for longer than they should) and a few must have had issues with their worlds not updating properly around this time
what does this have over minecraft
It was made for the purpose of simulating what people felt in MC pre-hunger/Notch era. Basically everything has been made slower, more difficult, and dangerous and leveling is no longer a fun novelty for making enchantments on weapons but a requirement for making more useful items tools and protection in general.
For me what it has over MC is "satisfaction." Everything gets progressively less punishing and more rewarding the more you expand and get smarter at optimizing the game, strategies and resources as you learn what is a good idea and what is probably not. The world is arguably not nearly as interesting without nether/end but it feels like you can accomplish something by putting the work in instead of teleporting into a fortress with a water bucket you made in three seconds then instantly mining 1000 blocks with a pickaxe you looted.
A good example is finally being good enough to make a permanent mountain peak base. This is because the first time you try to do it, you figure out it is too cold without fire/magma, too dry for food, too steep to easily climb, and far away from most resources. Expansion becomes a necessity rather than being able to sprint past everything with ease, and I like that.
can't stop playing Slice & Dice
Damn bro, great game.
Thanks for the revommendation.
glad you like it, that's a great run on cursed too anon
Thanks for the rec too. I've bought the full version and got the furthest I have ever gotten in curses a few days ago
Is it on iOS as well?
no clue, I'm more of an "iToddlers BTFO" person myself...
Free and Open Sourced Software games on android are up there with the Emulation.
>Mindustry
Factory building + Tower Defense Survival in one game. A Planet to conquer, plus allocation and micromanaging of resources. Where else do you even get that on android? Even expensive paid games won't be able to compete. Though if you just find this game just now then I say hold on for it and wait for the biggest update yet (7.0+). It'll probably take months but in the meanwhile, play another FOSS game
>Unciv
1:1 Civilization 5 God and Kings on your android, sure the development progress is awfully slow but it gets updated every week
have both, both are excellent games thanks for mentioning them.
>unciv
Holy shit I didn't know about that, it's everything I wanted.
And it's even free in all sorts of ways.
Bless you Anon, unless it turns out to be shit, in which case I take it back.
what display mod are u using?
By a stroke of luck I found Life in Adventure. Pretty nice text based/DnD like mobile game where you simply try to be the best adventurer out and can royally frick up.
I recommend it too
Anything similar in gameplay to Steambirds/Steambirds Survival. I sorely miss this game
Downwell, but I'm terrible at it
juicy realm
cosmo player z (jap only but it doesn't take long to figure what the powerup does)
night of the full moon
some of kemco jrpgs are decent, read the reviews first
downwell is just so hard to play there, i beated that game multiple times in pc but i never managed to survive past underwater area in phone.
It's a pity they havent gone back and made it work for newer phone screen resolutions, huge black bars at the top and bottom playing it now
Why will google not let me download elona mobile?
idk could be because of region lock? maybe try with Qoo or Taptap
Are there any good vampire survive like games on android? It feels like it could play on phone quite well.
Magic survival is really fun but i want to try something else too.
Crimsonland is the best one there is for Android
like VD and Magic Surv.
but with bugs instead
>It feels like it could play on phone quite well
It fricking CAN play on phone, perfectly.
If you go to itch.io in your phone's browser, you can play a slightly earlier build of Vampire Survivors 100% flawlessly.
Also, if you ever use Steam Link on your phone for whatever reason, it can play the full version of the game just fine too.
I really have no fricking idea why the dev(s) won't just get a version up on the app stores, unless they just don't like how much of their profits they have to pay the phone platforms, and want the most lucrative deal possible.
Because dealing with fricking apple and google is HELL, especially apple.
Apple double dips and takes like 50% of all money going through their system because they take a cut of all sales, and also take a cut because you use their transaction service.
Suvivor.io
Vampire survivors but with a sort of zoomer twist. It is indeed fun and colorful
Infinity Blade tho that ain't availible in appstore
Every day we mourn its passing.
is fantasian a jrpg that I would like to try
As far as I know, it is pretty good. Both visually and gameplay wise.

any good first person rail shooters on the phone?
Gameloft classic is pretty nice old mobile collection. Free to download and i haven't noticeds ads or IAP stuffs. All games seems to be full versions too.
Checked the game list and didn't see Midnight Pool.
Any other good pool games out there?
It has midnight pool.
Which games don't have 5000 things on the screen at once?
Any good farming game for phones?
stardew valley
tiny tower is the only game with IAPs i will vouch for
Like a lot of other people said, Chimera Recollect is a good one if you're into that genre of game.
I like calculords too, just something to tickle the math/OCD part of my brain even if some of the matches can go on forever.
All my emulators. Mainly Tekken and Ace Combat

I'm afraid to lurk the archives. Too many ghosts of dead anons, trying to latch their last bits of stray consciousness into my brain.
I see the arelgeean spirit in you so literally trust me bro
people were amazed and almost scared of the amount of dedication (autism) he presented during his mobile nethack runs, be he fricking did it and I was there to witness it
it must have been good 5 years ago or something
regardless of that, one of the android nethack ports has a clever way of controlling stuff, you have a swipeable row or buttons bound to keyboard keys, you can customize the hell out of it making it OK to play
can't speedrun it, but it's playable

would you guys recommend any Nintendo Switch emulator? i want to play Animal Crossing NH
where do you download apks?
Any tactical rpg recommendations?
Warband Bushido, warning : it's a dead game and the campaigns other than the default one are absurdly difficult, so play it if you enjoy playing against bots most of the time

Knights of Pen and Paper
is the sequel gud?
Occidental Heroes
Where's a good place to find ROMs and other old games?
I remember a couple of months ago I saw a huge collection of like 1000+ classic J2ME games, but I'm also interested in Game Boy ROMs, Nintendo 64 games and stuff like that.
Most results you find on Google searches are littered with adware and broken download links.
CD-Romance.
Awesome, thank you man
What is currently the best ccg deckbuilder? I really like Ascension, but it would be fun to make my own prebuilt deck.
Likewise, what TD games would you guys recommend?
I don't think ascension is a ccg. It sounds kind you want Legends of Runeterra.
Thanks, I'll give that a try.
Idk

what the frick is wrong with this board
It's a slow board that's full of deadbeats, possibly underaged, who will play anything as long as it's free and sexy. They'll grind away for hours, watch/block ads all day, even spend some neetbux on gems and gambling. They're disgusted by the idea of paying for a mobile game upfront even if they got a complete product without any further IAPs. They're also not into playing anything that doesn't have kawaii cat maids.
Mobile gaming isn't highly regarded to begin with. Anyone serious enough about playing on the go gets a dedicated portable console instead.
I wish you could purchase IAPs externally, i got great games with dlc that stop me from degoogling.
does anybody have a cracked link for into the breach?

oh frick I made a thread without seeing this
I like Fractal Space a lot
altos odyssey is good chill brain rot type game
Going back to adventure is surprisingly not bad. The simplicity is more zen imo.
For those that enjoy magic the gathering, I suggest forge mtg
Any recommendations for incremental games?
Ice Cream Disaster is pretty good
Anybody here tried Soul Vars and Vivid Knight? If so how are they?
Vivid Knight is your average auto-battler with added roguelite mechanics. Fun for the first 2-3 runs but gets REALLY stale fast. I don't recommend buying it.
Can't tell for sure with just that screenshot, but check out Neo Scavenger. It has decent replayability despite having a main quest. Otherwise, try CDDA.

I think he did have a TD cat at one point. For now I'd recc myself OTTTD, Kingdom Rush and Infinitode 2.
Kingdom Rush is kne of my all time favorite games period, and I'm enjoying the hell out of Infinitode 2 based on the recs ITT, I'll go give OTTTD a spin now
Completely forgot abount mindystry. Itcs the closest thing to factorio on Android and it's FOSS.
One of the flash OGs? Yes.
I'm looking this game, 2-D sidescrolling ARPG I think it was called Hunter X or something. I can't remember if it was taken off the play store or if I've got the name wrong.
*Mindustry
Enchanted cave 2 looks good it it worth 6 bucks? Also Labyrinth Legend has a second game now it's pretty decent.
LONEWOLF - A Sniper Story
Paid for the premium after beating it free. Buy 2 of the guns (best snioer and the hk fir fireratel and you can get that no fail all headshot achievment. I nearly had it except for one bit of bullshit.
Dungeon maker.
Love those dark lords.
Nobody cares coombrain.
It's fine but the grind is a b***h and the game gets repetitive real fast if you don't shell up for all the bullshit IAPs
Nobody cares oomerhomosexual
>brain so rotten he can't even spell right
Thanks for proving my point you pointless NPC.
There are no mistakes here. Lurk moar.
Wwait i have to. Buy the game and still having iap stuffs in it? Just to be clear it's not dlc/deluxe upgrade but like buying premium currency?
the IAPs are either skins (aka totally useless for gameplay) or unlocks that you would unlock anyways (aka skipping grind in a game that's basically all about the grind). The premium currency you can buy you also get at the end of each run, and you use it to unlock more features like new room and monster crafting recipes, new ways to torture captured heroes, new relics that might drop in your next run, and so on. Also new dark lords but who needs that when you already have Vampire Mommy by default
it's really hard to pick back up after dropping it for some time, can't remember 90% of the mechanics, also >pc version never ever
Are there any more fleshed out games like pocket zone where you explore different locations and gear up via random events?
No recommendations like this? I'm not sure what to call this type of game.
Not quite but try Day R there's a free version.
NeoScavenger, but you will probably need a tablet because the UI is painfully small for a smartphone and there's A LOT of crafting, dragging items around and other shit
sadly, I had to give up playing this on a 6 incher
anyone actually able to get disgaea working? i used to have it and it was arguably the best version of the game but i moved to a new phone and can't even finish the download.
Alpha Bear 2 and Soul Knight are my favorites.
I just found out that there's a port of Dominion for android by temple gates and no one told me, shame on you thread
>check out /vmg/ against my better judgement
>amongst the gacha trash people are actually enjoying Night of the Full Moon and Slice and Dice
Today /vmg/ was based.
I like the Meteorfall games too, not quite as good as those other two but still fun.
I've been playing the walking zombie 2. Surprisingly good if you buy the ad-off. It's probably the best fps I've seen on mobile. Are there any actual good fps games otherwise?
Dead trigger was a big favorite i played for a while, but i will be honest i haven't installed it in 2 years, but i recommend checking it out if they didn't frick it up in the last two years.
Forgot this was an offline thread but to add on-topicly, the only offline fps I've enjoyed otherwise is netlooter but it's far too simple and runs my phone a bit hot.
It's a good game but the IAPs are super expensive compared to the steam version's dlc deal.
Also it gets kinda shit after the first couple hours. It had potential to be really good but it's a cash grab first and foremost.
I agree. The zombies turn into bullet sponges too even with good guns.
Sucks because I dug the gameplay, style and story. There's some genuine talent behind this wasted by the format. Also didn't expect to see low poly breasts when I first played it.
Yeah I liked some aspects of the game too, but now I'm wary of the dev as a bunch of other games with the same art style have popped up, they seem like cash grabs.
Where can i download it
Nvm found it
do tell sauce please
PepeChopper on the google play store.
The ultimate truth is to not play games on your phone.
Trials of Mana and Dragon Quest Builders are a lot of fun, DQB can get a bit grindy when rising base lvl but its nice going out on adventure to get resources, other than that what are some other good offline/mobile rpgs or ports for android? I know the FFs and DQs, there's also an unofficial Crosscode port for android that works like a charm but controlling is a bit wonky yet serviceable.
Also hoping these kind of trheads get their general too, it'd be nice getting in here and going straight to non gacha waifu coomerbait trheads..
Why would we need to make a thread that hasn't reached bump limit in 260 (two hundred and sixty) days into a general?
>Nuclear Throne on itch.io
What's a safe site for getting cracks of these games?
Has anyone else here played Autumn Dynasty Warlords?

literally S.T.A.L.K.E.R for mobile.
the same old rage, the same old vive and feel, the same old glitches. you gotta love it.
So I tried out apkmody since it's my first time downloading pirated stuff and virustotal gave me 1 alert and it's "A.gray.devicemaster.a".
Google said it's safe for the most part but I'm kinda curious as to what's your thoughts about it.
>he doesnt run questionable apks thru virustotal

Combat Heaven.
Also Trigger Knight.
idk if anyone knows but US:Conflict is probably the closest mobile game to look like COH2, it also has online multiplayer mode. most quests are locked behind IAP tho so might wanna buy it for full experience
I wish Grid Autosport was cracked
Is this using Denuvo for Mobile or what ??
No gacha
Not a card deck game(already have StS)
Possibly a premium game i dont want ads
Not a port(like DQ, Chrono Trigger, etc)
Turn based game so I can pause it to do my job as needed.
What are the best RPGs?
Epic battle fantasy?
Idk if Matt's released the mobile ports already. If not, wait 3 months tops
Does everyone knows about Yukkuri Diary, i loved that shit. How can i find it since GP is moronic.
FYI for people who want 150% cashback for spending $5 on Google Play through PayPal. Recommend me some good games @ $5.
Railbound, if you want a nice, mellow puzzle game.
>Dungeon Maker
Holy shit this is fun. Definitely worth the $3 or whatever it costs
Try nitrome games. They used to make cool flash games and have been in the process of remaking everything in hmtl5 for quite some time now but have been releasing mobile games in the meanwhile. I haven't tried them myself but knowing it's nitrome they must be kino.
leap day, redungeon, and rust bucket are all great.
non-mobile-wise I really enjoyed bombin chicken on switch and I've heard good things about the shovel knight game they put out recently
asking in this bread for bump and because i wasn't answered in the other one yet
is GRID Autosport worth it for the price if I liked RR3?
Is it compatible with bluetooth controllers?
pasting from the other thread for prosperity
i've given in and answered my own question, it's way better than RR3 in basically anything. the gameplay is a little bit more realistic but you can customize the game to hold your hand just as much if necessary, especially with the multiple control schemes.
it seems to be compatible with generic/third party bluetooth controllers just fine, working natively with both an ipega-9025 and a Gamesir T4 Pro(it even supports the latter's "pedal mode" triggers, having gradual acceleration and deccelaration if you dont push RT entirely in).
although the game can be played almost entirely offline, sometimes it'll ask for internet access to validate your key. something you can do very quickly using mobile data.
hard recommend for anyone here looking for proper racing games on mobile.
Survivor.io
Everyone shills Buriedbornes so I gave it a try. Got to my first boss, took him down to 4hp but then he started putting all my abilities on cooldown (including wait and see) so I was stuck burning health potions because it was literally the only thing I could do. Took about 20 moves before my Tackle move came off cooldown so I could finish him off. Is this normal?

Not sure what you want exactly. Can you namedrop some titles you like?

That's like the fifth time someone suggested me fall out shelter. I guess I'll finally give it a try
And thanks for town. I'll give it a go
Any mostly text based rpgs similar to Kingdom of Loathing?
Not many mobile friendly ones as far as I know, have you tried Fallen London?
Seems like the app was discontinued
>fricking kol
goddamn you just reminded me of my account LMAO
I still run mafia every now and then and blow my adventures mining at that 70s volcano, surprised it's still going tbh
which script are you using nowadays?
still using minevolcano.ash from 6 years ago https://github.com/covert-code/KoL-MineVolcano/blob/master/scripts/minevolcano.ash
it just werks, but if you wanna take the time to do it and/or don't have a volcano charter, you're way better off setting up garbage collector https://github.com/Loathing-Associates-Scripting-Society/garbage-collector
i need a script that can play the base quests all the way to the end. i used to use one that was pretty good but i think it was deleted back in 2017 or some shit, hence why i stopped playing. any resource repo where i can read more about this?
Uh you want one of the many ascend.ash forks, I never kept up with that since I thought paying a Mr a for that was dumb as frick. Probably can go on the mafia forums and find the newest easy.
google dino is so cute !
Mathdoku (kenken clone)
Any opinions on Minidayz? The sequel seems to be trash but the first shows some promise.
anything like that? is interesting, but never played minidayz is the game worth?
>is it worth it?
Definitely but you'd be playing the game as a rogue-like. You can build a base of operations but moving from one island to the next is what gets you unlocks and end the game.
Thank you for the recommendations, gentlemen

Cook, Serve, Delicious is a great phone game. The inputs for some recipes are a lot of fun. I like anything with a knife, like the soup or fish.
Stardew Valley is nice. 1.5 should be coming to mobile here soon.
Neon chrome has a great soundtrack and is fun to play.
Rec me some games that I can pick up for 5-20 minutes at a time? Preferably stuff without ads. I don't mind paying for a good game.
Cook Serve Delicious has a phone port?

Played Hopeless in the past, went back to download it again after remembering it, it's...fricking saddening what it became. I do recommend Pirates and Traders, if that's what you're into.
How are the Dragon Quest games on mobile? Any cut content in any of them?
will always be my favorite
frick, I remember playing this years ago
wasn't it grindy as shit tho if you didn't buy cash?
You folks got any recs for cute games? Don't really mind waifus and all that.
not sure if they qualify as "cute" for you but I like Candies n Curses, Meowoof and Chimera Recollect
>Candies n Curses,
That game would always crash for me on level 5.
This shit is better than FTL.
that's like saying night of the full moon is better than slay the spire, lmao
Slay the Spire is the obvious one, also liked cultist simulator but always felt it was a bit lacking or else I didn't play it right which would be fitting for such a game.
VNs work well too, played all of tsukihime on android.
Neko atsume
>Downloaded Night of the Full Moon a few months ago

>>$14 dollars
You put dollars twice and if you want an actual answer that's the wrong unit. Convert that to hours of labor.
absolutely not, it's much worse than slay the spire
Any RPG game recommendations? Questing, adventuring and gearing are things I love. I don't mind ASCII games
One deck dungeon might be up your alley, depending on what you're looking for. I'd say emulate a gba rpg or something though.
What should I take into account to buy a gaming-capable phone? Is it good for emulation ing eneral?
Dunno, my Honor Play serves me fine. I'd consider battery life (some games are quite power hungry) and ergonomics (size, weight, sturdiness, etc).
Depends highly on your use case, but honestly anything that's not more than three or so years old that was on the upper half of the curve at the time is plenty sufficient
frick I'm in mood for some hardcore dungeon crawling after that Dark and Darker alphatest
>all those recommendations for Chimera Recollect
>it appears to be fricking region locked
A clean APK was easy enough to find, but why would the devs do that?
what is the correct way to play tetris on mobile phone these days?
Nes/snes emulator maybe? I think there is an official tetris game too in the store that works nice and back then when i played it wasn't infested with ads or life system (you know like candy crush or energy bar)
thsanks
download Techmino, connect your xbox controller to your phone through usbc-usbc to get rid of bluetooth lag and play
no need for fancy dedicated controllers or emulators, techmino is the best tetris for android and everyone these days has an xbox controller to use on their pcs or, well, xbox

I want a top down shooter with ragdolls and simple controls.
The closest game that fits the bill is space marshals 2
but even then the controls are sometimes unresponsive.
SAS: Zombie assault 4 might be to your liking. do fair alert; it has no ragdolls

Magic Rampage, kino rpg with a weird combat system and story, but is really fun
