Played maplestory for years and just uncovered the buried memory that my guild got me into sexting. some of those were most likely dudes but met actual girls and skyped them naked, MS forever goated for that.
back when vent was still a thing, one of my guildies in wow had a voice that was pure sex. it got to the point where random people joined our public vent channel just to hear her talk. joke's on them, she was an absolute hamplanet but good lord that voice. also our raid lead for our gdkp runs had the brilliant idea to have her run the bidding. it made me feel dirty how the simps were just queuing up to get fleeced.
its always the chubby girls with the best voices. I rember I was talkign to a voice actor somewhat famous in nsfw works and finalyl got her to send a pic and she was a WHALE

one thing i hate about maple is that if you stopped playing for awhile, you’ll most likely miss out on equips that will never release again.

I was in maybe elementary when this game was big. Don't know what it was like but whats stopping you guys from just playing it again or remaking it or just getting a bunch of you guys together to play on another game like it? I used to play Wizard 101 myself but only stopped cause I lost my email and password but I'm pretty sure if I wanted to I could just join any random online game and have a similar experience. Not trying to insult or anything I'm just curious why the Maplestory crowd doesn't just do it again?

Modern Maplestory is absolutely nothing like mid 2000s Maplestory, both in environmental and mechanical design as well as community.

People aren't nearly as social as they once were twenty years ago, and the few people that are social prefer to stick to Discord (yes, lots of people did that back then with Skype and whatnot, but now it's the norm rather than the exception).
You mentioned Wizard 101. That game is an absolute dinosaur. When it comes to the early areas, almost nothing has changed from its initial release. The same can't be said for most MMORPGs who tend to remake everything in the name of modernization.
