Honestly, high schools should be limited to 4 - 5 hours a day and all high schoolers should be working entry level jobs getting them ready for the real world. 1 hour for math, 1 hour for English, 1 hour for foreign languages, 1 hour for history, and 1 hour for science. That's all they need. You could probably cut the foreign language classes and make it a 4 hour day + 30 minutes for lunch + 5 minutes between classes.
Instead it seems we're going in the opposite direction where even college students are being infantilized. I dropped out of college to work full time because I liked money and I realized me getting my degree wouldn't help me any. That being said, I know many of my classmates who went to college/uni until they got their degrees aged 23 without a day of work experience in their life. 2 of my former classmates killed themselves because they had $50k+ in student loan debt and no one would hire them in the fields they had a degree in.

I’m generally not prone to making environmentalist arguments but on this issue I am a strict environmentalist. High school is essentially a prison and “teenage stupidity” is the result of treating what are biologically grown ass adults in their most fertile years like children when they should be out in the world being adults. Modern education systems love to “extend childhood” for as long as possible because it makes them more money.
Honestly, high schools should be limited to 4 - 5 hours a day and all high schoolers should be working entry level jobs getting them ready for the real world. 1 hour for math, 1 hour for English, 1 hour for foreign languages, 1 hour for history, and 1 hour for science. That's all they need. You could probably cut the foreign language classes and make it a 4 hour day + 30 minutes for lunch + 5 minutes between classes.
Instead it seems we're going in the opposite direction where even college students are being infantilized. I dropped out of college to work full time because I liked money and I realized me getting my degree wouldn't help me any. That being said, I know many of my classmates who went to college/uni until they got their degrees aged 23 without a day of work experience in their life. 2 of my former classmates killed themselves because they had $50k+ in student loan debt and no one would hire them in the fields they had a degree in.

I've been having this conversation for years with my friend. From Emiles own words, he hasn't had many jobs and the ones he had were before he became popular. He was living with his parents for a while, and then suddenly he can afford a massive house, several expensive Earthbound toys and memorabilia, and he can afford to buy all his friends presents on a whim.

This has been one of my takeaways as well. The people who talk the biggest game about inclusion seem to be the ones going hardest against an autist who violates social norms that they value. Similar happened to MikeZ with the whole Skullgirls thing, though he was more innocent than Emile with known evidence.
