Reviewers nowadays give more value to depth and moment to moment gameplan than scale and graphics alone. Starfield should have launched with like 45 to 50 major cities but instead it's mostly wasteland. Skills are cookie cutter. Less than 7000 guns. Etc.

Idk about all this score business but I watched my favorite youtuber review kinos covering the game and it sounds really good and I was pleasantly surprised that most characters really do look a lot better.
Skryim is like 10 years old. For it's time it was sort of impressive. Very few games had a map that big with that much content and freedom to do what you want. But by todays standards, Skyrim isn't anything special. Games frequently have bigger more detailed worlds with better gameplay, content and writing.
Might be time for Bethesda to fire Todd, get a new director and lead writer, and find another engine to use. It's simply not working for them anymore.
