I stopped playing because:
The fricking characters are so ugly. I thought "who gives a shit" but somehow it got into me.
The UI and lack of fricking weapons.

he's wrong. They disabled rewasd with a patch pretty quickly and controller got a massive AA nerf along with the fact that you can just disable crossplay.
The game has a competitive mode, other things are a skill issue.

I pretty much never encounter players that can beat me in an aim duel and my aim isn't even really that good. I play mouse and keyboard with no third party tool except a crosshair from my monitor.

People just want Call of Duty deathmatches. Hardcore if possible. Destructible terrain was cool but it got instantly into a meta where destroying a whole building and fighting in the rubble became a thing which was extremely dogshit.
The ranked mode was 3 matches back to back which was ULTRA AIDS. Totally not fun. People felt too tanky. The whole aesthetic was horseshit too. It had good stuff but it had more bad stuff. Class system is what ultimately ruined it

Literally has the best gameplay of any shooter out right now and the balance problems are absolutely fricking miniscule compared to most shooters.
Current LTM is basically just a meta switch up and is pretty fun.
The general got murdered by an angry sperg who would just sit in there and seethe out of his mind and samegay all fricking day about some new topic every few days.
Devs have been pretty good addressing balance issues without straight up sledgehammering them into the dirt (recon should be sledgehammered harder though)
Apex has gone for years letting controllers dominate and rewasd operate as normal, the finals addressed them within a few weeks. Now controller AA is weak, rewasd can't give you aim assist, and recoil scripts work like shit because of recoil smoothing.

i'd love the current LTM more if it didn't give heavy his meta pick weapon and every other class gets fricked up the ass with the worst weapons respectivley. A single round Tournament mode is what Quick Cash SHOULD have been
The game just has a massive lack of content, you can finish the BP and carreer rank in record time and all that's left to do is ranked ladder climb with REQUIRES a full stack of meta picks with zero flex
Every class kit just has a meta loadout with very little reason to deviate from that
They absolutley need to balance the game more though, FCAR is still undisputed king, Light is still a massive deadweight to any team, M60 is STILL trash when compared to every other weapon in his kit
they most definetley are not miniscule issues, especially if you plan to reach diamond consistently

The Finals easily has some of the best game play from a shooter in years. Nine times out of ten when you're better than the other player, you will win the fight. That's incredibly refreshing compared to dog shit like unga bunga CoD. Truly a shame that Apex pulls the consistent numbers that it does while The Finals appears to be on deaths door.
