Only reason I got all achievements on the 360 was because of my Ninja Gaiden obsession. I desperately needed that Dragon Sword piece. Thankfully the game was so active then that it was easy to setup lobbies for the purpose of helping each other with the more ridiculous ones.

And the armor's in-game name is fricking Hayabusa, which is what everyone called it, knowing that it's the surname of the guy from Ninja Gaiden.

I didn't even complete all the vidmasters (me and my buddies got filtered by the ODST firefight one for some reason) and even I felt kind of bummed that Bungie just gave it to everyone. Went from being something near-mythical to the most mundane shit ever overnight; never even wore it in the end.

Whenever I look it up people just say out their ass its under copyright. Halo 4 was gonna get Hayabusa btw but it was never added. It came back into MCC with no issues, microsoft made toys with the armor. I think Hayabusa will come back into Infinite since Halo 4/5 343 were extremely petty agasint bungie designs and only recently are they added non redesigned bungie armor in infinite.
I got this eventually but never wore it, it just didn’t look like it fit into the game.

if MCC had auto start Big team battles ill play. Right now its simply and utterly unplayable I mostly dabble in 3/Reach with some Halo 2. Starting with the battle rifle/DMR utterly destroys the moronic sandbox as is. The DMR is damn near the best anti tank item in the game in reach too where like 5 guys can turn your scorpion into scrap metal real fast.

The sandbox and unpredictable encounters you can have in Halo is what makes it truly fun of course yeah, scavenging and racing for weapons and fighting over them
And because everyone has the best weapon, they are gonna get it's ammo refilled after each kill.
Which takes away brain power if you can just unload the whole BR magazine into somebody, knowing you'll get more ammo.
When it's a single BR on the map you have to find, you get creative, because you're not wanting to waste it's 3 magazines on their shields, so you look for something else to shred shield and the BR to finish them off.

Not him and I don't complain about sweats in Halo but the answer is obvious. Back in 2007-2010 the playerbase was enormous. There was such a huge pool of users to matchmake with that you were always playing with people of similar skill to yourself because there were just so many to chose from. Now the playerbase has largerly moved on and matchmaking has a smaller pool of people to pair you with, so the closest people to your skill level might not be very close at all. Because the game is also 16 years old now the hardcore players have refined the meta-game in a way that just wasn't possible in the first few years after launch due to lack of experience. This means that there are a lot more resources online and the gap between skill levels get crushed further as decent players have all the knowledge to become excellent players and the excellent players hang around because they've been playing for so long. If you're not trying to become an excellent player and are just looking to goof around and play some Halo like the good old days, your peers from back then are almost certainly going to be doing something else and the players that do want to play with you are going to feel impossible to fight against. It's just the cruel passing of time doing it's thing.
For me it's that I used to be good at it, but moved on years ago. These people never left and now there's this weird skill gap that I don't care enough to git gud again to overcome, but also don't like getting shit on by full teams of these people. So I just stop playing altogether. The team part really annoyed me, even being rusty as shit I could still at least hold my own, but then getting matched against an entire team of sweats in BTB, while the rest of my team is just cannon fodder is not fun.
Every day I wish this game had real ODST shoulders.

You know this is true because Halo mcc has Hayabusa. If it was a copyright issue like using bungie emblems in classic Halo 3 then they couldn't use Hayabusa. I did research on this back in the day and no there is no copyright on the name Hayabusa by Team Ninja and also the one who can override all decisions is Microsoft because they own them as producers. They didnt own bungie so they had no control of using Easter eggs like the destiny reference. If Hayabusa was owned by that other company, forgot the name, they couldn't use it in MCC. Even if it is Halo 3 on mcc, by legal terms mcc is considered a separate game and that why emblems and destiny reference can't be used but if Hayabusa can, it means there is no copyright issue more than likely.

Weird that it seems to be fine for the Hayabusa armor in MCC. Just kind of surprising the license seems to have lasted forever. A lot of games have removed content for expired licenses, so I just didn't imagine it would still be viable.
