>Buriedbornes2 is the sequel to the easy-to-play turn-based dungeon RPG series. The popular series, which has surpassed 2.5M total users, has evolved in a form that is easier to play and more freely enjoyable. Choose between 2 options for the room you want to progress in, decide which items you want to obtain, choose from up to 5 skills to use next, and more... The simple, non-real-time operation allows you to enjoy a serious adventure where death is the only thing you have to worry about.
>The world is on the brink of ruin due to the invasion of the "Ancient Overlord" and his army of corpses, a threat suggested by the most ancient prophecies. You will repeatedly challenge dangerous dungeons by acquiring corpses, altering them, and using the forbidden "Buriedbornes" art of possessing their souls. It is a hopeless battle with no redemption or end, yet mankind has not given up on everything yet. In various parts of the world, communities of survivors, each with their own goals, continue to resist. By helping each other with them, we may find hope.
>At the start of the adventure, character creation is possible by selecting the race, job, and origin of the corpse to be used.
Each legendary equipments that can be found in each dungeon has its own unique abilities.
Up to 5 skills can be held, each of which can be set with up to 5 skill runes that can also be obtained in dungeons.
These elements allow you to build your tactics freely from a myriad of options.
You can build your builds systematically, or you can improvise and discover powerful builds through unexpected coincidences.
also the BB2 section in his blog has more info about changes from BB1
https://nussygame.com/en/category/bb2/
he's changing the season system from BB1 to be always available content in BB2. Also BB1/N100x will keep getting updates for it seems at least 2024.

Big dicking Pandaemonium right from the start, wish me luck.
>died on the final boss because I couldn't find one of the combo pieces
FRICKKK
shame it doesnt take advantage of the bigger space playing on pc gives. would be nice if equipment/parameter/character stats could be seen on the side
IT'S FINALLY OUT LET'S FRICKING GO
Oh, they changed the skill system. You don't get levels for your skills by acquiring the same skill anymore. So now you only want to replace a skill if the one you find is a higher level or has more rune slots.
got fricking busted
any idea of the best way to use this?
Well it won't let you use it as a normal inventory item. Also lost to the final boss in nightmare since I ran out of skill uses
any word on cross play or cross save?
There is but the explanation of it is so bad I'm not sure how to use it.
Is there some way to do cross progression? like, have the same account on my phone and PC or no.
any cookie cutter builds to get started?
High Healing + Heaven's Spear on Cleric carried me through every beta so far, and I used it to clear Pandaemonium.
They're 4* and 5* skills though so you need to get a bit lucky. Once you get them, find a Duplication rune and get 2 of both.
https://nussygame.com/en/bb2/bb2_release/
So...in the end nothing are carried over from BB1, right?
If you press Page Up/Page Down, you can see 4th row of rooms.
Goldshard transfer coming soon. Everything else is different so no point.
>If you press Page Up/Page Down, you can see 4th row of rooms.
It's really annoying that this is not the default view, especially because there is literally zero reason that you need to see the "1 row" room, as that's the room you're "in"
besides the jank and translation which can be ironed out I guess my only real problem is the mobile focused nature of the game (understandably) which means on PC we are missing a lot of qol stuff. like using the dead screen space to show parameters/equipment/character info to the side. maybe always have an option to have that dungeon info tab too. hold down on reroll would be nice.
always seeing the 4th row would be good too. well hope he focuses on some pc specific changes
also had a fight where the enemy was able to keep summoning (2 different types) like 30 times at least jesus frick
>also had a fight where the enemy was able to keep summoning (2 different types) like 30 times
Oh also when you kill a summon it requires a skill usage to like continue (even though it died) so if you don't have a free star skill you can get fricked by that if the enemy is able to spam summons
For this and many other reasons I feel like you ALWAYS need a free skill of some sort.
>when you kill a summon it requires a skill usage to like continue (even though it died)
This is the thing that irks me the most about the game right now, it's impossible for the player to knock out more than one HP stack at once on an enemy, yet enemies are capable of wiping HP stacks from the player as a chance on certain attacks and they can wipe multiple HP stacks per turn. The Blood Spray effect doesn't even prevent it which is moronic.
Players can break through multiple hp stacks at once, it just requires the right job passive.
I also don't know why people have so much trouble with skill remainings. Past the very start of the game you can easily cap the resistance out from ~2 body parts in the midterm (and probably a single one endgame). And the only real issue with it is from petrification, which has another resistance hurdle to get through to even hit you since debuff resistance is also a thing.
All three of the starter pacts come with a race that has a usage discount or refill effect too in either its passives or its starting skill set
>Players can break through multiple hp stacks at once, it just requires the right job passive.
Which one?
Oh, now I realized this is a bug. You can drag around the view if you have Scout, but it works without it by using the hotkeys.
are any unions notably more useful to join first?
assuming that there's nothing better to spend the 300 gold shards on
Seconding this.
Also what's the go to beginner class? I'm trying to figure out the game right now, assume dragoon isn't still the first rushed class
You can easily unlock Paladin and he have Spiky Shield skill as starter. The skill give Thorn buff (reflect dmg, phys property) and the burst ver give Retaliation (reflect dmg, void property) in case of enemies with high phys resist.
I joined the Necromancer union because Halfling and Necromancer seemed like the most useful classes to me. Since unlocking Necromancer, I have not yet lost a dungeon. Summon Dark Knight can be created for 20 Soulstones any time you get to choose a skill, provided that you first unlock the Apprenticeship item in the bottom tree. There's also another union later that lets you unlock the same thing but for Clay Golem, and Clay Golem is fricking OP
Summons feel a bit overtuned to me, summoned a Night Mare and it solo'd 3 floors without losing shield.
All the Burst summons are ridiculous. There's also Clay Golem which as I said before is OP all on its own. Has a shit ton of HP, Thorns, Detox, and regular attacks also
The spanish translation is really, really broken. Is the english version good enough? If that is the case I'll change the language.
its fine, there are some missed translations but its more than playable
Yeah everything was MTL by default and whatever got translated in time by volunteers is what you get.
I think English is like 90% done in terms of gameplay stuff, and 30% with lore/flavor text.
>Is the english version good enough?
Better than the first game's was. The UI is kind of bad at presenting information in general though.
can someone give me a tldr about unions? never really used them much in BB1, I understand you can buy things from them like other classes but since I understand that you can only join one at a time, you're supposed to just buy everything you can from one union and then join a different one?
You can rejoin for free. The fee is one-time.
>you're supposed to just buy everything you can from one union and then join a different one?
Yeah
>Challenge to reach floor 10 on a dungeon that only has 3 floors
There are some ways
alright but how do i get that? i can only get fricked by the minotaur so many times
Pandamonium drops these.
just found out about this and it looks good. should i jump into the first one or just skip it now that the sequel is out?
So far I like BB1 more, but that might just be familiarity talking
just put over an hour in bb1 and i love the game. the art and atmosphere are top notch
I was wondering the exact same thing
Cool, I made a thread about this game but I got 0 replies is there another thread for it and I'm blind or is this game just unknown here?
It's a pretty small game and it hasn't gotten much attention outside of Korea, there's only one mention of it by name in the archive
1 is simple, in a good way
2 is more complex, also in a good way
Fair enough, guess it won't hurt to just give both a try
can i have the same save data on my pc and phone?
>in BB1, when you take the same skill in the same slot multiple times, you get +2, +3, +4, etc
>in BB2, this does not happen
lame
>40 minutes of steamrolling
>die to an enemy to which you do 0 damage for twenty times in a row
i don't get it
Yeah, effects seem fricking weird this time. In 1 it was obvious why you'd do damage to an enemy as soon as battle starts; you picked up a skill with the modifier that makes it activate at the start of a battle. In 2 I still have zero clue why I'm sometimes hitting enemies at the start of battle and other times not.
The only time this happened to me so far was when I unlocked Caterpillar because I didn't realize what "Almighty -95%" meant
>fallen angel boss
uhhh what do
this thing has so much defence that shit I used to oneshot everything are doing less than 100 to it
then it heals for 1000
I just spammed Free Skill until she ran out of charges.
Apparently she's supposed to be able to drain yours, but it seems to be bugged, I didn't even have any Remaining Protection.
So are soulstones only used inside of the dungeons now? And the only way to unlock jobs are through challenge completion and Union progression?
Seems to be that way
Can someone explain what resistance reversal even does. I want to use try using him and get he likes void damage but nothing besides that.
by using him I meant dark knight, my bad
Description sounds like it flips resistances, so if you have +50 it becomes -50, but not sure how to make that useful, at least without a lot of workarounds like Invert on Armor Crush etc.
I can't see any difference between the different levels of skills in 2. Their descriptions are identical so you don't know how much of an upgrade they are unlike in 1.
skill levels only increase rune slots, nothing else
Where do you even see what you got from the chests you picked up during a run?
Once you get out of the dungeon they open instantly, you can check what they had during the mission ending screen.
At the end it shows you what was inside your chests.
You can then use those items at the start of the run.
Ok but where?
Scroll down, it's right after the corpse piece parts.
Talking about chests, i just lost four of 5*
>got stuck in a loop of infinitely dodging/countering/parrying something on myself and then killed myself somehow atthe end
tf happened?
>then killed myself somehow atthe end
Maybe ran out of skill uses
I played 1 for a few hours and I was fine but I don't know what the frick am I doing with 2. Weird because they are mostly the same game.
It took me probably like 10 runs for me to figure out what I was doing in BB2
>t. BB1 "vet"
>cucked by Petrify
Dying when you run out of ability uses feels kinda bullshit
one thing from BB1 I didn't expect to be back are the bullshit petrification deaths
At least in BB1, it "attacked" your HP bar. Petrify in BB2 feels like playing against a Land Destruction deck in Magic: The Gathering
>liked petrification in BB1 because it's my fetish
>it gets ruined in 2
sad
To continue with the Magic: The Gathering analogy:
In BB1, Petrify was like dying to Toxic/Poison damage
In BB2, Petrify is like dying if your opponent is able to destroy all of your lands
Does anyone have any idea what this means? In BB1, Oblivion Gate was an activated skill/ability. I have no idea what this means as a passive
I feel like I'm having a stroke when I'm trying to make any sense of it.
I switched the game language to Japanese and then I used my phone to translate that, and it still doesn't really make sense.
So in BB1, Oblivion Gate was a Demon default ability that caused both the player and the enemy to be invincible for 3 turns or something like that. (There was some Contract ability that allowed you to hit through Oblivion Gate effect). So this sort of makes it sound like you activate "Gate Open", which I assume means that you are invincible, and that you activate this Gate Open effect while you are in Spell Lock. But the thing is, I've beaten all the dungeons and I have only ever been in Spell Lock on single time, so it seems basically useless. Unless it also activates when you Spell Lock the enemy? Which I think is what the "Vain" ability modifier does
But what's even more fricked up is that Demon was my favorite class in BB1, and Demon in BB2 seems to fricking suck. You don't have equipment, and not only is Demon the "Race", but when you select Demon it *also* takes the place of your Class. Maybe I'll test it out later and try to grab "Vain" on an ability and see if it makes me invincible, but overall it seems like a bunch of really bad word salad
If that's of any hope, about 6 jobs got reworked during the beta, so if people don't like it it'll probably get buffed.
whoa yeah this one is going to be useful. always grab this one bros
it's still a very low chance to get the box with this skill, unless it got stealth buffed on full release
Yeah looks like youre right. Used it like 10 times but no captures
Pls post syndicate ids thanxx
Is there any downside to this? Is there a chance that the rabbit can just frick off with your treasures?
Frick succubus queen random encounter is just a run killer especially if its a nonbread floor
I guess I finally reached the part of the game where minions don't work that well anymore. Every fight is like 20 minutes of both of us missing each other, or some fricking vampire steals my minion, or some fricking medusa petrifies me
It gets very reliant on how lucky you got with modification points, runes and equipment. My lame human necro get extremely lucky with those, particularly the absurd 'Remote Possession' equip and absolutely demolished one of those time-limited dungeons with his 11k HP, 380+ Almighty mystery khomies, but my halfling necro on the following runs fared much worse.
>press toggle fullscreen
>when you exit the menu, it goes back to being fullscreen
kek
>permanent record of every time you've picked a class or race
>phone vibrates whenever you die
i hate both of these
Petrification fricking sucks. I was two fights away from the last boss in Spire when some tanky petrification butthole ate up most of my skills. I had a hail mary play to grab a fresh skill off a skill book in the last fight before the boss but GUESS WHAT there was another petrification butthole. Fricking bullshit.
Yeah, it's pretty fricking bullshit. "Remaining Protection" doesn't even really help you. I still got fricked my a Petrification butthole even with 60% Remaining Protection
>mixed on steam
frick...
gaymers being gaymers. skill system is fine
It's mostly chinks and asiatics complaining about game not working in their language.
Body part system feels bad. I know you can change the target but not good. Would have been better to just unlock them for general use
it's happening again
I downloaded it yesterday thinking I'll only check it out for 10 minutes and I ended up playing for about 3 hours
I know summons seem to be the meta now, but how are we feeling about the paladin lycanthrope combo? I want to try it but if it sucks I may as well continue with human paladin and keep upgrading my parts.
Barely played the first game before switching over to the second one but can someone explain me why some of the auto use runes are such high rarity? I initially thought they activated the skill without activating it's cooldown, but that's not the case. So what's the point? Are they just for convenience without empowering the skill at all in any way? That seems weird considering how high rarity some of them are.
>I initially thought they activated the skill without activating it's cooldown, but that's not the case
The cooldown becomes the cooldown of whatever skill you used to activate it. You can make a 10 turn cooldown summon be 1 turn if you put one on a free use skill
That makes sense. Thanks, maybe I will stop sucking now.
How quickly do the high scores for each level update? I should be on multiple of these but I am not on the list at all
Nussy is still making games? what happened to ending days?
It was a mess from what I remember so got dropped at some point
Ah damn that's a shame, I feel like I'm the only one who liked that game
So the only way to actually *get* something in BB2 is to unlock it via the Unions, right? So that means the Treasure Chests that you pick up in the dungeon are useless?
Not useless, but like, I'm probably never going to use a 1 time use consumable that creates an item. That's just not something that's ever going to cross my mind
Oh I thought all that stuff was one time use too
The 1 time unlocks from the Unions are, but I mean like the Contracts and the Jobs and the Races. You can't get any real thing from inside of the dungeons themselves, only as rewards for completing them it seems like
There are subdungeons so I assume they give something unique since it seems they require a one time use key to access. But yeah unions and dungeon clears/scores for unlocks besides body parts obv
How the frick does one deal with the medusas and the like sucking out all your skill uses?
I guess that
>you either kill her quickly
>Speedrun the floor by skipping all the enemies you can so you can rest and recharge
After losing to the angel so many times due to running out of skills and getting fricked over by having no place to rest the floor before, I just Speedrun to the final boss once I am a couple of floors away. You aren't getting much stronger anyway at this point, better play it safe and have max skill uses.
Just answered my own question, the "remaining protection" stat is the one that counters the drain shit. Really should stop skipping the text huh.
You guys came up with any good race/job combos? Honestly the way they changed a lot of the jobs to be races is probably one of my favorite changes, it makes character building a lot more interesting.
Right now I am thinking of joining the union with the angel race to try and get a paladin/angel combo going.
Kinda of an obvious combination but that's also why it works.
I was thinking Caterpillar would be great for Paladin because it gives 95% to all three resistances, and most skills scale with Max HP anyway.
But as I played Human I didn't feel like enemies doing damage to me was that much of a problem so I don't know now.
>You guys came up with any good race/job combos?
The first thing I unlocked (earlier in the thread) was the Necromancer Laboratory Union because both Necromancer and Halfling seemed like the most useful to me. Since unlocking Necromancer, I steamrolled the whole fricking game. That Union also gives you the Contract for Summon Dark Knight, which is really fricking OP. I did unlock Halfling, but I ended up not using it and I just stuck with Ghost. I like Ghost because you can just stack Resist: Physical, and that Resist: Physical turns into every other Resist as well, so you and your summons can become basically immortal. Ghost Necromancer's Summons only really ever die due to running out of ability uses. I've also been playing Automaton Valkyrie recently, still taking Summons, and it's okay. I thought Valkyrie would be really OP for Summons but it seems basically the same as with Ghost. Trying to get better parts using Automaton while farming the Union points I need to unlock Clay Golem
Scoring is a different beast and is often a test of patience, but a lot of ~Top 10 high scores across the dungeons seem to belong to various Executioner builds, so that's probably really good as well. Anyone have any Executioner builds they're playing with?
>Executioner builds
stack crit and sniping, pick copies of backstab or multi hit skills, watch enemies melt.
they're 100% broken, no wonder the leaderboards are filled with executioners. Grab them while they're hot and get your wins before they get nerfed.
Since executioner's second best stat is int, are there any int scaling spells he could theoretically want. Besides sword dance of course.
Whats the point of the health gates on players? Enemies can knock off multiple in one turn but pkayers can't and you can't even health them back.
>but pkayers can't
you can
>and you can't even health them back
you can
okay, how?
Final Blow passive takes extra HP stacks on crit (combine with multi-hitting skills that have increased crit chance)
High Healing skill can restore HP stacks.
Which is better?
right
Anyone know what absorption even is?
Also isn't the dk's dreadnought passive basically useless if blood armor is constantly active (provided you follow the restrictions).
lifesteal
I haven't seen much stuff containing lifesteal so far but makes sense.
Here to declare nuPetrify is absolutely bullshit
What's the point of giving you equipment as rewards for union ranks if it's more or less one-use only and you can't even rebuy it if you lose it
>and you can't even rebuy it if you lose it
Don't lose it 🙂
but yeah, I have no fricking idea what the point of any of it is. The Union rewards (outside of race/job/origin/contract) seem entirely useless. The dungeon treasure chests inside of the dungeon also seem entirely useless. The contracts you get inside of the dungeon also also seem entirely useless. The rewards in this game are just mostly fricking useless across the board. There's no reason to have any of it. I have "Conquest Notices", but if they are also one time uses, why the frick would I ever use it? Unless I can 100% guarantee that I can Catch the monster, why would I ever use that thing? Can you even guarantee you can Catch monsters in this game? The only sort of "extra" items that seem useful are the Bargain stuff, because you can repeatedly buy those for 100 Silver, but even those just aren't very good at all. The only things that have any value whatsoever are the Race/Job/Origin/Contract rewards from the Unions, and everything else in the entire game has no purpose for existing
And Lab Parts are a nightmare to get because it's all fricking RNG. You can't have a targeted farm of the pieces you want with Pumpkin King like in BB1, you just complete the dungeon and hope RNGesus blesses you. And then you once you get a Part that you want, you can't even share it. You put it on a Race/Job combination and it's locked there literally forever, so I hope you like playing that one Race/Job combination. I think there are a lot of things that BB2 does right and I think there are a lot of things that BB2 does better than BB1 (as well as some things BB2 does worse), but the entire "Loot" system in BB2 needs an overhaul. It's literally all useless fricking shit, and the one thing you want (Lab Parts) is entirely fricking RNG
I *think* the idea is that you gather a bunch of one-time use gear and bags and use all of it at once to challenge the harder dungeons. The problem is that it doesn't work, it is a known fact that players will never use consumables if they have any choice in the matter, especially if they're in any way limited, and you don't even NEED it to actually win the harder dungeons anyways.
>it is a known fact that players will never use consumables if they have any choice in the matter
Yeah, pretty much. BB2 is Elixir Syndrome, but like you said none of it's necessary (or even useful) anyway. I actually do not understand why it even exists (in practice). It's a stark contrast to BB1, because in BB1 everything was useful, and everything has a reason for existing. Due to how much completely useless shit exists in BB2, it almost feels like it wasn't even made by the same guy. Or maybe what happened is that since he's just one person, he got lost in the sauce somewhere or previous iterations of systems got changed so that they no longer make sense anymore. Like if the Union items you unlocked where infinite use items, they would actually make sense to have, but they're not infinite use items, so it doesn't make any sense at all why they would even be unlock rewards
The items got reworked every month during beta because nobody was bringing items with them, so I'm not surprised it sucks.
They used to go into your inventory at first (the 5 slots) but that had its own problems so we got treasure chests, at least that helps hoard stuff better.
Items are just very situational, and can't even be made OP like skills so it does feel pointless.
I think the items should refresh when you reach a camp. And I'd make them usable in combat too so you can drink a potion in emergency.
Maybe a "lockpicking" stat too, that gives a chance to see contents of found chests and allow you to take them into your inventory, but that'd probably make the "not bringing anything" problem worse.
I just don't understand why the items aren't infinite use. What's the point of even unlocking them with Union rank rewards if they aren't infinite use?
Let's look at pic related, for example. It's a whopping 2100 Union points (in addition to the price of all the ranks that came before it) to unlock Holy Knight of Scheinenaue. That's super fricking expensive, and you also need to look at the opportunity cost of the time you spent farming this versus farming whatever other Union stuff. So you spend 4k+ Union points on this Sword... and it's just 1 Sword. It's 1 copy of one single one (1) time use copy of this weapon. It's not a Contract to be able to Craft this weapon. It's not an infinite use item to begin the dungeon with this weapon. It's one single one time use item that lets you have this weapon one time... and it costs over 4k Union points. Why? What in the frick is the point of this thing?
The current item system makes it so that the only useful things in the entire game are Job/Race/Origin/Contracts. Unlocking anything more is useless. There's no way to farm targeted items and there's no way to farm targeted Lab Parts, and if you want to use any of these items that you paid 4k+ Union points for, if you get shit on by a random dungeon mob it's gone forever. Why isn't this an infinite use item? Why isn't this at least a Contract to be able to craft this item? What possible reason would there be for making this one single one time use item? You can break BB1 wide open and it's fun to do that. Why is BB2 so fun averse? BB2 is fun averse to the point that an entire core system of the game is functionally useless, which also makes most of the Union rewards useless as well
glad someone else is raging about this; i thought i was just missing something about the game, lol
It seems like it's such an easy fix, too. Just make the items infinite use, or turn the items into Contracts. That will fix the entire issue with the item system (and, by extension, a massive issue with the Union rewards structure). I don't even know how the current item system made it out of beta, it's so fricking bad
Oh, and if you turn the items into Contracts or infinite use items, that will also give you a real reason to pick up chests in dungeons, because currently there's no real reason to do that either
Do enemies that run out of skill points lose as well? Cause if that's the case, this should basically be an unbeatable combo.
There's a Petrify skill/ability that gives +5 Petrify to the enemy, so I'd imagine they'd have to be subject to that loss as well, otherwise that skill/ability would be useless
Yes, just killed a yellow wall with petrification. It also makes Clay Golem superior to Dark Knight because you can just stall out mobs. Esp when you can transfer your regen buffs on it.
>got the red spending runes that adds 75% saving chance
>my uses are going UP from sociability
>finally got 5 creatures
>decide to try out Ominous dungeon with them
>win
>get 400 gold
based
Guess I'm a scrub but fallen angel in the nightmare dungeon just did her full heal at least a dozen times then I exploded.
Oh guess I got really unlucky since my second try I 3 turned her. Progression feels really bad tbh
My summon was stolen.....
Can't have shit in Versiegelt
This happened to me, fricker fallen angel stole my clay golem.
I don't know if this is helpful for anyone, and it's pretty messy, but this is all of the summons stats and their Burst stats (minus Clay Golem) all with the same base character
>Zombie's Burst summon seems like the best bang for your buck, considering Summon Zombie is 5 Soulshards to buy
>Zombie's Burst and Dark Knight's Burst are actually pretty comparable in terms of both stats and skills, and Ghost actually has more total HP/shields than Dark Mage
>Nightmare seems like the worst Burst summon (?)
>none of your character's permanent base resists carry over to the summon, sadly
>only the Burst summons have any notable resists; the base summons have zero Phys resist
I don't have Clay Golem for this picture, sadly, and iirc his Burst is not another summon, it's a spell. Using Free Skills to stall for Zombie's Burst is actually a pretty viable replacement for Dark Mage
Here's Clay Golem stats. Pretty lackluster, honestly, now that I see it. The stat lines seem to be whatever your highest stat is of the casting spell (mine is 140). He just has a shit ton of HP and Thorns. I think Zombie's Burst and Dark Knight's Burst are the best ones of the Summon skills. I know there are some others like that spear modifier that summons an angel or something
Light orb (the one that gives pursuing damage) also has a summon burst. Never used it though. Ghost is good enough. Seems a little shitty a free skill and summon skill are needed for basically every build
>Seems a little shitty a free skill and summon skill are needed for basically every build
Yeah, I agree. I'm having fun so far with the summons, but I literally don't even know how to play the game without them. Even if nothing outright kills you, I think you'd get fricked by ability uses eventually
I swapped from necromancer to executioner and it's been way more successful. 2 or 3 backstabs, pump strength and critical, and try to get All Out as well as Final Blow. I ended up getting 2 backstabs and two shotguns with all out and it was ridiculous.
Ehh, I was doing quite alright with my Paladin making his enemies kill themselves by bashing against him. Well, until I got to those enemies with a ton of health gates that also have retaliation and we killed each other in a murder ping pong.
Shield builds also look pretty interesting, kidna wanna try out something like an Ancient Shild + Shockwave Fairy or Ghost or something, maybe add Ancientmancer into the mix. Looks like an interesting build ability use economy-wise.
There's a few summons on burst skills, like Sword Dance or Holy Bit, might be worth grabbing their stats too.
There is also stuff like this but it doesn't really matter
Sword Dance's Animated Weapon scales off of your weapon stats
what that mrans I do no know
caterpillar crash's' my game 🙁
new patch on steam, they fixed the caterpillar!... now I wait for the phone update.
>nuDemon seems like it sucks
>oldDemon isn't even a costume that I can buy
suffering
Lab sub dungeon ends with a doll that clones your skills. I was using spellmine. Got fricking wrecked
>After the major issues are resolved (after the release of v1.0.5), we will be adding a bonus mission for all users to earn up to 1000 gold shards.
Did I see someone say that he's going to be moving gold shards from BB1 over to BB2 as well? Any word on that?
Around 2 weeks after release last I heard
from trello
chat, which skin should I roll for with my 1000 apologems?
Obviously Bacchus
Question, the rewards you get from fraction rewards, the legendary one time use gear you bring, is that ONE time only? Seems bad as a faction reward
Yes. If you don't die though, or bring a Crow Skull item, you get to use them again.
Those rewards also repeat and you get them again every 10 levels, which is only 15k union points (and you can only earn about 8k per week, IF you do all of the missions).
>which is only 15k union points
ONLY?!
>and you can only earn about 8k per week, IF you do all of the missions
What missions? I'm struggling to get enough pooints to unlock the faction classes.
>and you can dip out of Unions "early" if you simply resolve never to unlock the bullshit useless item rewards
now that I know this I wont be grinding past unlocking the charater and bounty thingy
>What missions? I'm struggling to get enough pooints to unlock the faction classes.
On your Union tab, click the 2nd icon from the left I think it is. That shows you the Union missions, and that orange number inside of the little icon seems to be the total remaining Union points you can still acquire that week
>Seems bad as a faction reward
The whole item system is horribly fricked in BB2. It's strange because nothing seemed out of place to me in BB1, but in BB2 the item rewards from Unions and the Treasure Chests + Contract dungeon events just don't seem to have any reason to exist. Those items clearly should either be permanent Contracts to craft those items, or they should be infinite use. Due to how very little the item system makes any sense at all, I almost wonder if the reason it sucks is because that's where his monetization is, so he's hoping that people will buy Crow's Skulls and Bags. The good news is that you can beat everything without bringing any items, and you can dip out of Unions "early" if you simply resolve never to unlock the bullshit useless item rewards
>And the only contract with this low level skill requires you to go lv.8 in the shitiest path of the shitiest union.
That Union isn't shitty, bro, that same unlock is also how you get Clay Golem
>might be worth grabbing their stats too.
I might try that, but it's a lot of effort to find all the skills that summon and I've also been using Valkyrie lately which kinda fricks up stat tracking, but I'm curious myself about the stat lines and stuff so I'll probably start it at least for myself. Of note, Outer One's Evil God summon on his Burst skill is pretty good because the stats are decent (10x ?) and also he deals void indirect/pursuit damage which seems to not have many resists
The only reason I ever die as ghost necromancer is basically because spell shield keeps fricking evading me despite how common it's supposed to be. And the only contract with this low level skill requires you to go lv.8 in the shitiest path of the shitiest union.
Why is such a low level skill so fricking hard to get...
character customization in BB2 is a big upgrade, matching jobs+race+contracts is fun
progression (lab parts) is not fun: complete rng, locked to one profile, no storage/inventory
items from the unions are pretty shit as well, a slog to acquire and single use unkess you return from a dungeon alive
other problem regarding the ui, statuses and buffs are semi-transparent on the character image and make it harder to read conpared to BB1
summons seem very overpowered, pursuit, reflect, and evil eye indicators get removed from the healthbar interface? those seem pretty important to be aware of dyring combat and aren't there anymore
Yeah lab body parts should be shared. Union system is kinda silly. A pass or pay option to just unlock all your bags to support the dev or something I would have done. Buying consumable bag is obnoxious so I wont do that
>progression (lab parts) is not fun: complete rng, locked to one profile, no storage/inventory
Right now it feels like you may as well just immediately fail five runs on a new job so you can get parts to actually give them a chance first.
adding:
skill uses is poorly implemented
I understand it's to encourage players to swap skills around so you don't rush to get the same build every time, but getting -5 and not being able to use any of your offensive attacks and having to ditch a run because "flee" was changed from a free action to an actual skill is absolutely moronic.
just did the user survey imagining there might be an unmentioned reward
doesn't seem there is, but for those who don't like inventory items there's a question you can give them a low score on
Is there gachashit in this one too?
No.
short answer: no
long answer: yes, if you count loot boxes that gives super low impact single use items that nobody cares about
If having RNG drops made a game a gacha then almost every RPG ever made would be a gacha.
you will not believe what zoomies think is gacha after genshin cane out
Genshin might be the single worst thing that has happened to video games since the advent of the microtransaction
if anything lab parts are the gacha of this game, and I wouldn't mind seeing a friendlist "borrow part" feature
There functionally was zero gacha shit in BB1. You farmed enough Soulstones to buy everything, it was just a matter of pressing the button until you unlocked what you wanted
In BB2, there is no way at all to target which Lab Parts stats you want, so this is much more actual "gacha" than anything in BB1, especially because you also cannot share Lab Parts between builds. Items are also one time use, so acquiring them (if you choose to use them, which is uncessecary) could also be considered gacha. There is significantly more "RNG" type elements in BB2, and there was absolutely zero gacha in BB1
>take Warriors of Honor as my first union since I didn't know how broken summons are
>having decent success with paladin reflect build
>fallen angel boss
i hate it, even if i did come back and win the second time knowing the gimmick
>since I didn't know how broken summons are
I didn't either, I just read all 3 of the first union offerings and chose correctly
>fallen angel
>paladin
you should be stacking remaining prot if you play a defensive class, and then you can just spam free skill to mill her out
Here's Entangling Root's Spirit Wolf. I have Valkyrie + Genius, so it's really hard to discern which stats it's using. Genius doubles it, I think, and Valkyrie uses both stats combined, but then Royal Road uses the highest stat. Due to the Wolf's 1094 stat lines being basically double my base STR of 548 (547 exactly), I think it's only using STR as the value
So if we divide all the Wolf stats by 2, then it's 2188 and 547, and 547*4 is 2188, so the Wolf stats are 4* whichever of the higher stats it's using. It's weird to see that Royal Road and Valkyrie do not seem to stack, meaning that Valkyrie might use either the combined sum of the stats or the single highest stat, whichever value is higher
Oh, and the HP is 25*547
Has anyone tried running shield builds? I sorta blundered into a cookie-cutter one with my ghost necro and it's looking pretty damn busted. Ancient Shield straight up doubles your current shield, doesn't even have a particularly long cool-down and the shockwave burst skill is 1 skill use and 200% your shield.
I did in beta when Spell Shield scaled off of INT, stacked the shit out of it with Hell Contract and it got changed to what we have now.
Are there any skills that give shield based on INT now?
Don't think so, all the shield spells I've seen scale directly off, well, shield.
I've been running a druid elf with auto Ancient Fire + Spell Shield combo but kept getting btfo by random mob with some shit rune that bypass my 100k+ shield.
I picked Lizard as my first unlock, did I frick up
I don't have Lizard unlocked so I can't say for sure. Lizard seemed neat because you can seemingly always run away from every single battle. Does this mean you only actually need to fight Floor bosses and the the final boss? That could be a pretty neat strat, almost like Wererabbit in BB1. It does not seem like a good first unlock, however. Summons are easy mode and possibly borderline necessary, so I feel like new players should unlock Necromancer first, but in the end the game seems to be more about the active skills you bring (and your Contracts) than your Job/Race/Origin combination
I think I'd still recommend new players unlock Necromancer first. Really easy braindead class to get started and help you unlock more stuff
nah, the game gives you enough goldshards to join another union pretty quickly if you aren't satisfied with warriors of honor. i'd say it's probably the worst of the three starting unions though - the sss at least get elves for innate genius/doubled skill power, and why laboratory's so good been posted about a lot already
I have been playing 24/7 since release and this is the first error I have encountered
it happens every time you transform in catapiller, im guessing some other jobs do that to.
Caterpillar crash got fixed in today's patch, which only Android didn't get yet.
I'm mostly playing on android, and upsettingly enough I cant upload my data on the phone version yet.... Bah, I want my bug boy.
oh those missions, it seems very hard to do them all ...
Quick question though, when a skill says it uses something like 100% of your Dex OR str ect. does it randomly pick? or does it always use the highest?
>oh those missions, it seems very hard to do them all ...
In my opinion it seems more annoying and tedious than "hard", but yeah. I think the better play is to use your gold to join several different Unions, and then do the easy Unions quests each week. I think that would result in more overall progress being made than trying to spend all your game time going all in on one by completing the progressively more tedious missions
>when a skill says it uses something like 100% of your Dex OR str ect. does it randomly pick? or does it always use the highest?
It chooses the highest. Valkyrie has a passive that combines them and uses the sum total of those stats for the skill
Then why is there the skill Royal Road?
It seems as if Valkyrie takes either the highest individual stat, or the sum of the stats listed on the ability, whichever is higher
See here:
For clarification of what I mean:
>Valkyrie
Uses the sum of the stats listed on a skill instead of the highest one
>Royal Road (an ability that Valkyrie also starts with)
Uses the highest base parameter
>Entangling Roots - Burst (Spirit Wolf)
Uses 100% of your Dex or Int to Summon a Spirit Wolf
Then as you can see here
, I started as Valkyrie meaning that I have both Valkyrie and Royal Road, however the math for the Spirit Wolf stats works out in such a way that it seems to only be using my STR at the time, so it would seem that if you have both Valkyrie and Royal Road, that it takes whichever the higher value is, either the highest individual stat value, or the sum total of the stats listed on the ability. In my case, STR was a higher value than DEX + INT
interesting,
There's so much stat interaction happening behind the scenes that choosing what skills/armor to take sometimes becomes a reliance on faith.
Yeah, it's the kinda thing where you have to check yourself because there's overlapping interaction shenanigans and then also a pretty shaky translation to boot
So there are skill runes that are negative? In the sense that they hurt you instead of aid you? For example,
"Calm: whenever you use this skill directly you lose Bravery -3".
Seemingly this might be advantageous if you would not like your skils to go into burst correct?
They are not really supposed to be just negative, they are meant to enable weird combos. For example the rune that increases cooldown that enables skills that scale with total cooldowns.
Do any of the Unions have any contracts to help with Final Blow stacking?
Either Darkmoon or Remnants has Throw Blades.
>Uncontrollable
yeah, I don't even want to control them
I meant it in a funny way, them being unstoppable by even you
i see, my bad that is kinda funny
BB1 baby here. The googledocs guide says "Contracts allow your character to be imbued with extra power at the expense of Soulstones". How do I know how much it costs? Nothing in or out of game mentions this.
I think that just refers to paying soulstones to roll in the contract gacha?
That did occur to me, but the thing is to be exact, it says this:
>Contracts allow your character to be imbued with extra power at the expense of Soulstones. There are no default contracts and they must be unlocked either through in-game events or the contract lottery machine.
but it then says this right after:
>Amulets allow your character to select an additional skill to begin the adventure with. There are no default amulets and must be unlocked either through in-game events or the amulet lottery machine. Amulets don't cost Soulstones.
Since amulets are gacha too, that makes it sound like contracts have some other cost.
Frick if I know then, I'm pretty confident there's no hidden costs or anything about them. Maybe it's outdated info?
Like the other anon said, it's most likely either outdated (I don't ever remember Contracts costing Soulstones thought) or it refers to them being unlocked via the "gacha". The reason it might say that Amulets don't cost Soulstones might be because you can eventually reach a point where you own every Amulet and you can no longer purchase the Amulet "gacha", but you will always be able to purchase the Contract "gacha"
Soulstones are a non-issue in BB1 anyway. Just set up a Soulstone farm (and/or autoclicker) and leave him there
I've just passed the 2k soulstone mark. Should I buy a miner now or wait a while? I'm still doing Labyrinth.
Buy the Miner so that you're not tempted to buy something else. Ignore the Moon Queen at the top here and just pay attention the Miner bit. Miner is the easiest to set up soulstone farm for a brand new account, unless you have managed to RNG the Mining Amulet
Then set this up or set up an auto clicker and let it run overnight one time and after that you can buy everything, pretty much. Might need to do it a few times depending on where you park your Miner. Higher tier dungeons give more Soulstones, and sometimes there are game-wide 2x Soulstone events
What a scholastic gentleman.
I found First Aid almost instantly and now I am flush. I thought that was going to be harder. And you can save and load in combat, so I can do it indefinitely.
Actually, the Miner part doesn't really tell you anything besides "Miner can make Soulstones"
Here is my Soulstone farmer. I use Demon because it makes cooldowns of all skills become 0, but this is not for brand new accounts, and you can somewhat replicate this effect with Miner by finding a room that has the "Tailwind" effect
I highlighted in red the things that are necessary. Farm some Soulstones and then start buying Contracts and try to get something with Autoheal +8% and Immobility. No faith makes it a lot safer, and then Golden Cat/Greed just gives you more Soulstones
Seems like the achievement percentages in Steam client are delayed, they're showing what I assume the unlock rates from the last beta (when they got added), if you multiply by 22 you get the rough number.
Kind of sad that nobody really bothered near the end.
Anyone figured out what this rune does?
Skill power +1
It makes High Healing burst restore 2 HP stacks, free skills give 2 Bravery, etc.
>have 600% Savage
>it doesn't seem to increase item rarity or anything like that at all
>it only seems like it makes enemies stronger
sad
You can only find 6* skills and gear while in savage state.
Sure, but not at increased odds. I haven't seen any red items this entire run. You still need item rarity or appraisal or whatever that stat is called in this game
Nothing, I guess. I'm just sad that it seems to do nothing except make monsters stronger, and that increasing the Savage % does not lead to finding better things at a higher rate
What race would you pair executioner with?
I am thinking Lycanthrope. It adds some survivability. And in lycanthrope form all your cooldowns are only 1 so you can spam your longer cooldown skills and get rid of their stacks that much faster.
I honestly can't think of a better race for the job. Other than human I guess if you want to play it really safe or some extremely limiting shit like giant.
Lycanthrope just compliments it well without interfering too much.
Elf (Genius) + Parry (no runes) makes you basically invincible. I haven't played Executioner yet so I don't know if they need survivability or if you just kill the enemy, but my fallback so far for my build has been Genius + Parry with Spiked Shield

Wasn't the problem that players are morons who refuse to take this? I think the problem with some systems is that Nussy thinks too highly of the average gamer.
Yeah, I never saw an issue coming in fresh to this game without playing BB1, after I died once or twice and figured out the mechanics though, limited use is fine. Just get the items/runes/upgrades to fix it or for your strat. You don't even have to get full reduction or for all skills, just putting it on 1 or 2 skills is sufficient. Or resist the ailments that remove your uses.

Medusasisters...
I've already started taken Remaining Protection +75% every time I see it
>I've given the game 8 hours at this point and BB1 was definitely better.
I think I like BB2 gameplay better. The game is still new so it's tough to say, but I feel like BB1 has more batshit insane godtier OP builds, and then once you assemble your build (and some god tiers function right out of the box, provided you have the correct Lab Parts acquired) you pretty much just press one button until you beat the dungeon, with a 0% chance of dying. So far, I feel like BB2 has fewer godtier builds, with less build diversity, but that actually going through the dungeon feels more like a game that you actually need to pay attention to, instead of just pressing 1 button repeatedly for 100F
I think Nussy needs to revamp both the item and the Lab Parts system in BB2 though. Items are either accidentally useless or they are monetized whalebait, I can't tell, and then Lab Parts are impossible to get good ones, and then once you get good ones you can't share them between builds. "Catch/Capture" also does not always work in BB2, so it's really annoying to try to Catch monsters for the Jail. I spent like 4 hours farming elite mobs in the Outer Eye dungeon with an unlimited use Catch skill, and I only actually caught 5 of them
Genius + Parry makes you basically invincible, and I'm assuming that there are turns where you are sitting around waiting for your cooldowns
>item and lab parts
This, people were mad about the skills having uses, but the longer you play the more you realize it's actually a good mechanic. But items are straight up terrible as they are now.
I am actually not sure about lab parts though. Getting them changed so you can transfer or something along those lines them would definitely be convenient but I also sort of feel that it could potentially make getting them too easy. Which could be a problem since lab parts are basically supposed to be the long term progression system. And you sort of can transfer them anyway, at least initially once you get them and only once though.
>And you sort of can transfer them anyway, at least initially once you get them and only once though.
I wouldn't really refer to that as "transferring". In BB1, you fought Disasters and got random Lab Parts from them mid-dungeon, or you caught monsters and fused them in the Jail to extract the modifier that you wanted into a Lab Part. Certain monsters were like always the boss in certain dungeons, and Capture worked 100% of the time, so it was relatively easy to farm out a lot of the better Lab Parts without there even really being an element of RNG to it. Once you had a certain Lab Part, you could freely attach and reattach it to any Job you wanted (buy paying Fragments of Death, I think it was), though if you only had one copy it was only able to be attached on one Job at a time, so you'd have to unattach it to use it on someone else
In BB2, you get to choose one (1) of 5 random Lab Parts that the game awards you with when you complete a dungeon or die. I have seen screenshots of people with orange and red Lab Parts that actually give you passive abilities, like Necromancer's Command. Me personally, I have never seen anything better than purple and blue, and purple/blue Lab Parts are almost useless. It's like +3 INT/level type of shit, not something like the "Genius" ability. And then once you lock in a part, that's it. You have to hope RNG blesses you with another copy if you ever want to play a different race/job combination. There is no sharing to speak of, it's just that you are able to use your "main" race/job to farm lab parts for you "alt" race/job
>Fight Yakshini as the first enemy on a floor so full skill charges
>Still die via exhaustion anyway because it keeps shitting out summons, restoring its shields, and every enemy in this game somehow takes 0 damage from attacks at random even when no buffs are up for some reason
Yeah this system sucks. I've given the game 8 hours at this point and BB1 was definitely better.
>90% of builds are using summons
>enemy summoner makes you die to exhaustion
>the logical conclusion is that the exhaustion is at fault here
how does summon build works? outside of Highway its like each dungeon has at least 1 enemy carrying dispel so am i supposed to keep March Out just to skip those?
Or just kill them then resummon. Summons have a lot of skill uses. Just very efficient in what you get for skill usage + extra health bar
Keep 1-2 dmg skills, best if they are void or other hard to resist/miss skills
Honestly, people here are really overestimating summon builds. Executioner is much better (probably the best job in the game) and angel paladin is also basically invisible while also having an overwhelming amount of skill uses.
On summon build you can just leave it to auto play, I also use elf/automation executioner and it works great but you can be skill use drained by some infinite evade or drain monsters.
>somehow takes 0 damage
how many damage types do you take?
any resist penetration?
that's what I'm finding is usually behind sudden damage drops, so I'm taking a mix now if I can't find pen
Unions should give you access to 1 star skills to use as you please before starting a run. Maybe lock some to class/race. That would feel way better
>check leaderboards
>90% elf executioners
lol, lmao
why even run elf if you're deleting HP stacks anyway?
pick up acrobatics as well and you're pretty much invincible. don't forget to leave the rune slots empty.
Oh. You can be made to target yourself. Oh and the passive that means you can take out more than one hp pip? Yeah. One shot myself from full health and all pips filled in. Frick might drop the game that's fricking obnoxious no way can I actually be able to tell thats a threat without an active battlelog always up with the have a nice day skill flashing fricking red when its used. Also made sure to put like 60% in ailment resistance....
Status effect is called temptation. Hard to see like all status effects. Will potentially one shot you if you're an executioner.
You should farm all parts with automaton, you get orange often. For red you need to get better lab parts on board and be automaton.
What build are you using with Automaton?
You can die instantly for a chance of your part+1 rarity. You can get full orange that way and he kills himself with the race skill.
For a working build executioner 2/3 backstab and fill other slots with multi hit like shurikens or magic void blade, for free parry or quicken.
Other working build is summoner via valkyrie, fill bar with 2-3 dark knight rest with magic skills and some heal/shield/evade.
Replace his race skill asap as it will kill you.
>Replace his race skill asap as it will kill you.
The times I have played Automaton, I replaced it instantly (summoner/valkyrie) but it never crossed my mind...
>You can die instantly for a chance of your part+1 rarity. You can get full orange that way and he kills himself with the race skill.
...to just have a nice day, bro. Huh, interesting. I'll try that
For a good chance for red parts you have to get 10-20k in battlefield, which you can do if you finish pandemonium.
Also to cheese pandemonium, get 50k score to get pacifist. It disabled elites which makes most builds viable and speeds up pandemonium-battlefield grind
>Also to cheese pandemonium, get 50k score to get pacifist
Do you know how to get Dog? Is it probably also "50k score" on Highway?
Where do I unlock the automaton?
You can check if you don't have it and try to use in preparation. It's from one of dungeons 10k score.
The best I got was one yellow one myself, and I didn't even have the right class for it, so I had to compromise which felt kinda bad.
I can't even imagine how hard getting those red ones would be.
So for sure one, somewhat limited, transfer function would probably be ideal. Maybe pay a small amount of gold for it? Not too sure honestly .
I don't really like this new union system. They shouldn't be as expensive to join and you should at least be allowed to be in two at once. with the option of buying more union slots for gold shards
see
the game is quite generous with gold shards, I'm almost done unlocking all the unions. I wouldn't mind joining two at once though.
So what are the skills for executioner exactly? I'm just stacking pre-emptive strike and sniping. idk what im doing.
Shurikens or backstab
>Not using blade dance
What are you guys even doing
It should really be 3 "Quick" skills (Thrust, Throwing Dagger), Acrobatics, and Parry
is battlefield the only content after ancient king
Tindalos is a Black person!
Any recommend a good magic build? So far I experienced spamming spell shield, auto frost bite then merking them with gravity.
He needs to fix enemy summons. I think it was 30 I just had to kill as a new one would get instantly summoned even though I killed it in a turn. So I guess enemy summons have no CD and extra uses too???
Elite enemies have a lot of extra stats and runes this means they can have 99 skill uses, 1cd/act as quick and 1 charge usage at higher floors and high savage mode.
It seems as if Lab Parts are at least somewhat based on the rarity of your currently equipped Lab Parts, so you should probably always take the higher rarity Lab Part no matter what when you are starting out. I wish I had made this connection sooner
so why do i randomly firststrike enemies before either party gets to do anything sometimes? i don't seem to have any passives, skills, or runes that would do such a thing
Maybe it's the enemies that sometimes have firststrike?
I was playing executioner and wondering the same didn't notice that backstab can proc preemptive strikes and hit on entry.
>Call Miracle
Usually turns you into a Jelly, sometimes turns you into a Gold Dragon
It seems as if it can also give you 100 Soulstones or turn you into the Mushroom from BB1
And it can also take all of your Soulstones as well

>Scheduled to start around Jan 14th to 15th, 2024 (Sun to Mon)
Are keystones consumed upon use?
No.
Got this while farming corpse parts? Should I give it to my automaton or my ghost necromancer? Honestly I have never seen healing used on summons so I don't know how useful it would be.
I also only have an orange leg on my automaton and I am not sure if upgrading it to a red one will yield a better red part drop rate. I know there is a chance to +1 the part but red is the max after all.
Forgot the pic my bad.
I have seen 1 summon with healing and it had no scaling, I would say this is currently useless stat.
>Honestly I have never seen healing used on summons
Neither did I. I think it's supposed to buff their healing skills, but I don't think I've seen a summon with one.
>farming corpse parts
how? do you just have a nice day over and over?
For red parts use automaton and add growth prospect to gear from Darkmoon. If you can make it 10 levels of pandemonium, you should get orange or red pieces if you already have orange in slot.
does growth prospect stack?
Shows as a single passive on character sheet, but who knows
orange/red is kinda misleading because it's just a sum of two 3/4s, when individual parts can be up to 5
Automaton works with red pieces you can die on 1st floor of dungeon and get red parts.
I really want to like Ancientmancer but the low hp and shield dependency is just straight up suicidal.
It pairs well with fairy, I have seen some people making leaderboards before all the elf executioner spam.
I can't find fairy yet. Is ghost a good substitute in the meantime?
You can try, however it is best with fairy for their passive and racial skill. You also want to be able to craft spell shield.
Full build is 2x ancient fire, ancient spark with flat, spell shield and fairy powder, all craftable. Put runes as needed not to run out of charges.
Is there anyway to scale a current piece of equipped gear to the current floor level?
There is duplicate equipment from dark moon which might do it
Unfortunately no, it makes an exact copy, so you'd need to also get the craft that upgrades stats.
There's the "Craftsmanship" equip passive that improves the item as you level up but its a rare one.
Sworn Solidarity Society has "Strengthen Your Equipment", which seems like it might scale your current gear to the floor/level, but I do not have it unlocked so I cannot say for sure. What I can say for sure is that "Duplicate Current Equipment" from Darkmoon Company does *not* do this
I tried killing myself with Automaton, but that didn't really work for me, so I've just been playing the game normally. I have Growth Prospect from Darkmoon, so I add that to one piece of gear during the run, and I just play the game to the end normally. Usually yields 2 red pieces, one for the corpse and one for the battlefield corpse
>Strengthen Your Equipment
Sadly, it strengthens the equipment you rolled, not the one you're wearing.
God damn. So you'd have to Duplicate it and then Strengthen it to actually get a scaled up copy of your current gear? Pretty lame
I wonder if there are going to be more Unions eventually. There was some class in BB1 that I think had their gear scaled up every time they reached a new floor. An option like that would be neat
> So you'd have to Duplicate it and then Strengthen it to actually get a scaled up copy of your current gear? Pretty lame
I actually tried that and apparently Strengthen only improves one (1) modifier lmao
You could also take the armor yellow passive, "Plating" which states,
"Whenever this equipment receives an equipment degradation effect it's performance will be enhanced instead"
from the update schedule:
>There was an issue where "Avoid Critical" for all enemies was too low, so added "Avoid Critical" for some enemies/elites.
rip executioners
Still will be one of the best builds but you won't be able to 1 turn kill all elites.
>you can find Lab Parts with Job/Race passives
What's the most degenerate combo this could enable?
Enhanced reroll frickng sucks
enemies with add action are not fun to fight
>run into an enemy summoner
AIEEEEEE LET ME OUT
>Genius + Parry (+ Acrobatics)
Are there any other massive survivability combos like this?
>Put on the Pacifist origin
>Game immediately becomes several times more enjoyable
Crazy stuff
Freezing is a really shitty dungeon effect to accidentally wander into on a "?" tile
I just got "Ghost" as a Lab Part. What is the most busted thing I can make with it?
>Ghost
When you lose your shield, trigger the HP stack loss trigger effect
>Shield Revival (Outer One - Race)
Whenever an HP stack is consumed, reset your shield
>Spray of Blood (Ranger/Ninja - Job)
Whenever you lose an HP stack, gain Transparency/5 and Shielding/5 -- (immune to phys+magic excluding Critical for 5 turns)
Is there anything more busted that I can do than this? Would Ranger or Ninja be a better target?
I saw a status that said something like "you will not take health damage when you have shield" but I dunno if it means armor gating or just that your shield can't be pierced.
Don't you just love how the health gates existing means your absurdly big damage numbers are completely meaningless
>you can get 2 different unique passives on the same Lab Part
There's going to be some insanely RNG wombo combos
I fricked up the menu and over wrote this part. Frick my life
Pretty sure they only appear on Head, so at least you can't get 10 of those.
Do we have a google doc like we did in BB1 for all the stats and skills and such?
Probably eventually, but the game is only a few days old. I think everyone who would want to make it is busy playing it
Hmm. Any of you happen to have multiple Liches in their Jail?
does anyone else's game pause every few seconds or so? It's VERY annoying
Yeah, my game has gotten really slow. That's apparently an issue he's addressing in the next patch. Something about save data file size becoming too big. You also can't currently upload your Steam data to the cloud (to transfer to phone and vice versa) for this reason
Same. Also the menu opens randomly
Ominous (Jail) Dungeon is kinda insane. I just stuck a bunch of monsters together and it's fricking owning. I didn't start with good skills, but I basically built "Elf Executioner" loadout with the monster, and it's destroying everything because it seems like the monster's stats scale with level
I thought I was drafting a boss so imagine my surprise haha
>you can do Battlefield with your Ominous/Jail abomination
This is the true meta
What the hell I didn't know you can face your own characters. My own bastard wiped all my health with that catastrophe spell.
Got one shot at full everything on floor 19. Enemy got the first shot even though I had 75% first attack stat. Okay. Hot through 150% dodge. Okay. Had 80% armor and a bunch of health but he got a crit. Okay. Deathblow too so I died. Obviously could have gotten an extra health pip I guess but had to max my dodge and defenses and skill use protection and accuracy. Think this has the PoE problem where you kind of need all defenses maxed since enemies are so rng. Anyway im seething and progression feels like shit
Just put on the Pacifist and don't worry about the bullshit RNG Elites again.
How do you get it?
50k score on Pandaemonium
If you know what you're doing, probably Elf. If you are a noob like the rest of us were, probably Necromancer. Then, make your own decisions. As the other anon said, Parry is good, and you get Throwing Blade in the same Contract as Parry, and that's pretty decent. There's also "Quicker" which can turn any attack set into a traditional Elf Executioner build. Really though, Elf should carry you until you are experienced enough to make your own decisions, and Necromancer will carry you until you switch to Elf
There is enough free Gold in the game to unlock all the Unions (and get free costumes, as well), and I have unlocked about rank 10 in every Union. The more Unions you can unlock, the better, because the first few quests for each Union are easy, then they get harder, so the most efficient strat is to unlock all of them asap, then complete a few missions for each Union every week until you unlock everything
My issue was that I didn't realize that the rarity of the Lab Parts you get is based on the current rarity of your equipped Lab Parts. I figured it would be based on Floors or Savage % or something like that, but nope, just your equipped Lab Parts and then whether or not you have the Growth passive
Okay my gambit paid off. I uninstalled after dying (before picking lab part) then reinstalled and was put back during the start of the fight. Finished then killed the ancient king. Feels good
Avoid Crit, my friend. Very useful with those execs flooding the scene.
What race are you guys using with spellblade. I literally have no idea which one to pick.
Battlefield needs a sudden death or concede mechanic.
What union rewards should be prioritized?
Necro then Elf then parry then quick shot I guess
What's quick shot from?
Uh darkmoon tier 8 on the third option iirc. Oh probably could grab the lab part + craft before it
Elf executioner is the fastest build as others said.
If you like summoner then elf Valkyrie with entangling burst spirit wolf and dark knight can do all content but slower and you need a backup direct damage when enemy dispels your summon.
If you like shields fairy ancientmacer, reflect with angel paladin, however most builds can't delete HP stacks as executioner so they will be slower
>most builds can't delete HP stacks as executioner so they will be slower
I got 400k score in Battlefield with this set on my Jail monster. Sword of Darkness turns any build into Elf Executioner (but better, because it deals multiple damage types as well)
Why Jab over, say, quickened Thrust or Double Strike? And why Phalanx instead of Parry or something else?
>Why Jab over, say, quickened Thrust or Double Strike?
I kept finding Jab and I had higher STR than anything else, and Jab also applies Blind on Burst. Quicker is not really a feasible rune to fish for imo (you don't get Contracts for Jail monsters), and I think I had "Auto: Combat" on those anyway. The amount of damage you do isn't really that important, you just want to hit multiple times and to crit, and my crit was near 100%. You're very likely already doing "enough" damage anyway, you just need to hit more damage types and/or apply more effects. Hitting for 20k damage is useless if the enemy has 2k hp
>why Phalanx instead of Parry or something else?
I spent probably over 1,000 Soulstones trying to reroll for Parry and I never found it, so around floor 35 of 43 I gave up searching. My Parry would have only been something like 80%, and I'm not sure which one would have been better. I also had Blink on the Phalanx. If I found the +15% Parry and put it on the Parry (plus the Jab blind effect) that might have been better? But I never found Parry
Probably parry with rare strong boost rune, but good luck rolling both.
You guys have no reason to complain about the new corpse system. I literally get all reds every single run in battlefield even if I immediately lose. It's easy as frick already, transfer of any kind would make it just ridiculous.
im still doing panda..
Yeah its way better after battlefield but on the other hand it slows down build testing to an insane degree. Also wish I could store and change out body parts on the same race/class
Are purchased skins race locked?
No
So the keystone with the +99CD to a skill per floor. Replacing them is the play right?
I only know of the skill that gives evade called that. Something that can only be lucked into?
Wererabbit starts with it. An alternative to replacing them
How do you get more keystones? I've been clearing some dungeons but no dice, do I need to clear pandemonium again?
I've been using my highest possible keystone +F amount and clearing Pandaemonium
it should be anything on floor 20+
I've been getting them from Disasters at the very least.
Are Disasters those events that show up which feature a powerful enemy? In BB1 there was straight up a room effect called Disaster, so in BB2 it's unclear to me. And then Conquests seem only to come from those useable items?
Disasters are event dungeons that show up once in a while on the world map.
Ah okay, cool. I didn't realize those were the Disasters
I wonder if I'll ever find another Ghost/Zealot Lab Part
That was such a perfect combination for Outer One
I think the most exhausting thing for me is getting duplicate keystones. I got 5 duplicates already and I have 4 unique ones.
>duplicate keystones
Are you just repeatedly using the same keystones over and over again in dungeons? Every time I get a new keystone, I use it, always doing my highest floor combination, and I've never seen a duplicate
Well what else am I supposed to do, when two of them are absolutely terrible for my build?
Tweak your build or try something new
Any idea how to get 6* item boxes?
I think it's just RNG, same way you get any other items. Events like the homeless guy who wants 10 Soulstones and then the Treasure Chest event thing. There are also *RED* items you can get. I died to I lost the chest, but I did pick up a red chest and it also showed up as red on my kill screen
I did three more 20+ runs and still dupes. Yeah, I'll try a different job tomorrow.
If you're using the same keystones repeatedly and getting dupes, it makes me wonder how many keystones there even are. I've only gotten new ones, never a dupe, maybe because I always use my newest one. But does that mean that every unique keystone combination rewards a unique keystone? That'd be fricking wild
I actually tried different keystone this time (together with another one I always use), and a different race, in a different dungeon.
Unless it's tied to job alone, I'm getting fricked by RNG, or my account got bugged somehow.
DROW b***h GAMBLED BY STONES AND NOW IM BROKE
After playing this game much more, I do think there are (so far) a handful of "OP" builds, the least of which is Summons
Dungeons are starting to take a really fricking long time
>Flaus
Nice translation gays
What is it supposed to be?
Floors obviously
Oh, no, that's the name of the dungeon. It was the Flaus dungeon
see pic related
Falus
How do you counter a character that has 100% magic and physical absorption, 100% usage reduction protection, 50% parry and inflicts insanity every round? The bastard just slings spells then poisoned me till I'm dead. Whoever created that character frick you.
>starts having fun
>suddenly 8 hp stack homie randomly appears and spams pertify no fun allowed
any easy way to deal with those hp stacks in later floors outside of just using executioner? i got death word once but its too damn hard to get
If you get 50k score in Pandaemonium, you unlock the Pacifist Origin, which I feel like most people are using because it removes Elites fromt the game. It makes the game way more fun and way faster, which is helpful because I'm starting to get 80 floor dungeons and it's seriously taking like 2 hours to beat, maybe longer. I feel like you're either using Pacifist, or you're using the 100 Soulstones one to cheese farm parts with Growth, or you're using the one that spawns only Elites for scoring. I don't know why you'd use any other Origin
Final Blow or whatever it's called is just a stat you can roll, so you can always get it potentially. There's also a "Slayer" rune that does the same thing iirc. There's also those orange/red spells that straight up kill or remove HP stacks, but mostly if you're using Pacifist you wont really be up against any really b***hy enemies. As far as Petrify goes, "Remaining Protection" is basically necessary, but I think it's far less frequent if you're using Pacifist
what the hell does "Skill Boost" do exactly? It's so generic and vague that I keep forgetting.
I thought the Shadow Servant would summon another Shadow Servant thus creating an infinite feedback loop of your clones. I assumed that given the ridiculous game mechanics this game presents.
>I assumed that given the ridiculous game mechanics this game presents.
Yup, me too
I think one of them makes the skill activate twice, and the other one boosts the power of the skill. I forget which one is which
Does higher number in Savage mode equals to harder enemies or is the enemy pool the same? Or is the number just measurement on how hard or is it to go back to normal mode?
Gold name elites almost every fight
Then I pray catastrophe graces my rolls because Black folk with 8 health dots and 20 hp and a million dodge is ruining my experience.
RIP
To be more specific I am getting diffirent enemy variety and they have larger health pools/lvl/and HP stacks
This happens everytime I use quickshot because of the Auto Intelligence rune and seemingly only takes 1 use of the skill instead of the 5 If used directly.

>“Final blow” build
- (Give monsters crit avoidance)
- Reduce HP stacks and increase HP (while keeping the total amount of damage required)
- Adding skills and abilities that provide HP stack reduction effects other than “Final blow”
>“Infinite Shield” build
- (Ancient Shield uses nerfed)
- Fairy Powder changed somehow "Specifically, we are planning to adjust the effect so that it does not increase shields by itself by having an effect that assists the amount of shields gained."
Each will be adjusted during the update (v1.0.7~8) around the end of January.
>>>The Remaining of skills will not be eliminated in the future.
>>“Final blow” build
>- Reduce HP stacks and increase HP (while keeping the total amount of damage required)
>- Adding skills and abilities that provide HP stack reduction effects other than “Final blow”
Fricking finally. Thank Flaus we have the option to nuke like a healthy sane individual.
March update preview sounds neat
>1000 extra goldshards from every dungeon
that doesn't sound right
A single new class adds thousands of gold, similar for a new dungeon. At some point you will be swimming in gold
more like 400 but I get your point
Fricking finally. 25 floors was pretty draining I struggle to imagine all of Pandemonium. Also 4 star belt > 7 star accessories.
Bro, an 80F dungeon takes multiple hours
>Unless it's tied to job alone
Can you post a screenshot of your keystone inventory? I tried a lower keystone dungeon just to blitz through it, and I still got a unique keystone from it, but it did make me notice that all of the green keystones have very similar names. If you are getting literally the same one over and over again, that's really weird, because I have never gotten the same one twice
Yeah it was duplicates duplicates, I could tell that the effect was exactly the same as the keystone I used before.
I did some runs with Elf Exec now and well, 3 for 3 on new stuff.
Which would you prioritize for an executioner build?
Accuracy one. I often end up with way more crit than I need but ymmv.
Yeah I was thinking the same but the enemies supposedly getting more crit avoidance might change things. I still doubt it will be as needed as accuracy so I will go with that.
I'd go with crit, when the patch drops you'll need over 100% crit chance to keep up with elites/bosses
Shit I knew we could get some passives but I didn't know job specific ones were included as well. In your opinion what's the best job/race combo for this?
Personally I don't really feel like Dark Priest is a particularly strong unique passive. You'd probably want to put it on Fairy, I'm guessing, or maybe Saint. Or maybe put it on an Angel/Saint. Those are just the first things that come to mind, but you should probably read them yourself and make a decision. It's lame that you can't store these parts for use later
The game has been giving me Ghost over and over again, so I've been using it on every Shield Revival combination. Then I got Shield Revival itself so I put it on Ghost. Be careful not to accidentally delete the part. I auto piloted the menu and deleted a Ghost/Templar which would have been pretty cool on an Outer One Insanity build
Yeah I realize myself it's a pretty weak passive. Especially because most shield specific builds keep increasing their shield as the fight goes on so this does pretty much nothing for a lot of them so probably fairy is a no. I will probably do angel something since you really want to spam heal with them.
I was thinking angel paladin but that build wants to go full hp, so I am not even sure if sacrificing a health stack for some shield is worth it even with this.
Angel/Saint as you said is probably what I will go with since it's the best combo for heal spamming.
any health scaling skills so I can be a can stack regen and smack people down except shield bash?
I haven't really noticed any, but I could be wrong. The best you get are the Shield based "Ancient" spells (and Shockwave), which are pretty powerful. The other HP scaling skills are Lycanthrope's unique and Vampire's unique (iirc)
There is a self damage skill that s scaled by % iirc. Hope we get an online database like https://limbus.kusoge.xyz
How is this game compared to the first one
If you are familiar and experienced with BB1, there is a definite learning curve in BB2. There are some questionable choices, like Lab Parts are not shareable anymore (once you set them, they are set and you cannot move them off of that race/job combination), and the item system seems either completely useless or as if it is intended to be whalebait (because you can spend 20 gold to get an item that returns your items to you after the run), but overall I think BB2 is the superior game. It took me a while to arrive at that conclusion. At first I thought it just had better gameplay but was a more shallow game. Now that I'm playing it more, I'm finding more busted combos and the game is opening up a bit, and I still also think the gameplay is better than BB1. There is a vancian casting system (skills have "uses", similar to Pokemon) which has gotten a lot of pushback, but the people doing the pushback invariably have less than 5 hours played in the game, and in many cases have less than 1 hour played. In my opinion, the pain points (if there are any) is the Lab Parts system because you can't store them and you can't share them, and then the item system because if you use an item you lose it unless you beat the dungeon, which is not guaranteed. Another small tertiary complaint is that you get "Keystones" which add detrimental modifiers to the dungeon while also increasing the Floor count, and this iis a good system that I like, but once you start getting to higher floors counts (80+) the dungeons start taking literal hours to complete. I usually spend the first 30-40 floors assembling my build, and then I spend the remaining floors navigating away from as many fights as possible just making a beeline for the exit, and it still takes multiple hours to complete a dungeon
TL;DR - I think BB2 is overall better than BB1. I have hundreds of hours in BB1
Honestly I find the lab parts to fine as well now that I have more experience with it. Even if you say frick up by placing a head with a class passive at the wrong job/race combo, the fact that you still have it makes it infinitely easier to get it again as long as you use the race/combo that has it (since lab parts you get always keep one of the two abilities on it).
So ultimately once you unlock something you can pretty much give it to whoever you want with a very slight amount of additional part farming.
Sure maybe it wont be a perfect part but this is a partial transfer system of sorts of you think about it differently.
>since lab parts you get always keep one of the two abilities on it
Huh. I thought I was just RNGing the Ghost passive a lot. That does make it a lot better since realistically, the only thing you'd need to do in order to pass a part on to some other race/job is clear one dungeon
I wish I knew the inner workings of the systems more. I thought that getting red pieces was a huge b***h at first also, because I kept giving the parts to race/jobs that I wasn't playing. I didn't realize that the rarity of parts you get is based on the rarity of parts you have equipped, so I was getting fricking nothing until just recently
>as long as you use the race/combo that has it
you don't, you can move the new part any race+job and switch it to any race+job by clicking this button
No no, he's right. If you play as the same combo again, one line gets rerolled, but the other stays the same. Then you can move that to a new combo. So if you get say a Job part on your head, you can duplicate that line 50% of the time.
I believe he was meaning
>[the fact that you have a lab part with an ability on it] makes it infinitely easier to get [a copy of one of the abilities on that lab part] as long as you use [the race/job combo that currently has that lab part equipped] (since lab parts you get always keep one of the two abilities on it).
So if you want another Ghost passive like the game has been giving me, I'd need to use one of the race/job combinations that I have already equipped a Ghost Lab Part to (which I have been doing, and it has resulted in my getting several Ghost Lab Parts)
I didn't know some parts could be straight up superior to others even in the same tier. I mean sure level scaling health will almost always be better than raw, but they also work different, this is literally the same but better.
Might make the rolls higher
The game's rating seems to be recovering on Steam.
Has anyone gotten a part with two job/race passives on it? Or even know if it's possible? Cause I was thinking of using the one I got on my automaton so I could potentially get a part with two class passives on it.
On a completely different subject though, if that's actually possible, those parts would be really fricking rare since you can't actually reliable get it again in by clearing just a couple of dungeons. After all only one of the two modifiers carries over per part.
see
>Has anyone gotten a part with two job/race passives on it? Or even know if it's possible?
see
(I deleted this part on accident)
also pic related
Seems like Head is for Job/race passives, and that the other passives can roll on some of the other extremities
I see, so you pretty much want only one job/race passives on the head of your automaton on all times (for lab part farming).
With any head with 2 passives been too rare to waste on an farming bulld, not too mention it really doesn't help you in getting another 2 passive head in any way.
>so you pretty much want only one job/race passives on the head of your automaton on all times (for lab part farming).
I have inadvertently been "farming" the Ghost Lab Part using a race/job combo that does indeed only have Ghost as the passive (the other one is some bullshit), so you're probably right about that. It has resulted in getting Ghost I think every single time when I complete a (highest keystone) dungeon. I don't know what the lower threshold for getting parts is
>automaton
Your farmer doesn't need to be specifically Automaton though. I think it's the Darkmoon company has a Contract that allows you to craft the Growth passive on a piece of gear
Considering that after your corpse is fully geared out in red parts, you pretty much get red parts every time in the battlefield, the growth passive seems to be pretty pointless. Unless it helps you get job/race passives, which I guess we simply don't know.
>deleted this part on accident
Damn. At least viking is pretty bad as a passive and doesn't really pair with ghost in any particular way.
Hmmm. Would Elf be the best one to farm with? Seems like every build could take advantage
Elf is definitely pretty strong, but me personally I'm just trying out new builds when I find new parts or when keystones demand that I must change my build, and I'm crafting Growth on everything I play
>which I guess we simply don't know.
Yeah, considering I'm still finding new stuff out (like having a part makes you more likely to acquire one of those same attributes) I'm crafting it just to be safe
I still haven't beaten Pride yet. I don't know how to deal with her copying me
Sam as always, executioner and kill her on 1st turn.
>Disaster dungeon
>only 1 keystone (27F)
>with red parts equipped
>defeated the boss
>no red parts (tried twice, no red parts either time)
So I think that the parts are also partially based on either your dungeon floor or your score, because if I do my max floors I get red every single time
>Need to be playing a game at a specific time for disasters to show up
Fricking moronic system.
Is it not that they are available during certain hours only? You could just pick up your phone, start a run, and then return to town until you can actually do it
>Is it not that they are available during certain hours only?
Yes, that's still fricking moronic.
>unlocked all unions
that was nice, when's content tho
does rerolling 5* skills give you a higher chance of receiving another 5* skill?
the amount of times I've rerolled one into another one is weird and webm related just happened too
Are there any busted combos I can make using these parts?
I can now conjure more of these basically at will, and it sounds like a really cool effect, but so far it has not met my expectations. I think the fundamental "flaw" with this is that Shield does not function the same as HP Stack, meaning that when the shield breaks it's awesome that you get your shield back, but you need to have survived the attack eating into your HP in order to do so. This is not an issue in PvE (but also, my Shield doesn't really break in PvE in the first place), and in PvP I will get insta gibbed by a giant Elf crit just the same. I would need a Dragoon (immune to crits at max HP stacks, in this case zero, but it's 3 or something for Dragoon) lab part as well in order to actually survive the ridiculous crits that happen in Battlefield
Those two in one part would probably work really well in some sort of build that builds both shield and HP.
But yeah, dragoon is probably the strongest pvp passive since it absolutely destroys executioner builds.
I've tried it on Fairy, and it still gets one shot by Executioner. I've tried it on 100% Phys Resist/Ironclad Ghost and it still gets one shot by Executioner. I've tried it on Ninja/Rainger and it still gets one shot by Executioner (Transparency/Shielding does not block Criticals)
I feel like Dragoon lab part (on a zero HP stack race/job) is just about the best thing you can possibly get
what am I doing wrong with these necromancer builds can't clear anything and have a hard time past floor 10 elites just owning me with additional actions - I don't know what to do with runes at all, thank youu
It's hard to tell what you're doing "wrong" without more description of how you die. You aren't using a "Free" skill though, the ones with the blue outlines. If you are using Ghost, a good Free skill to aim for would be Phalanx, because I think it should give you max phys resist, which will translate into 75/75 magic/void resist as well
You could also just switch to Elf, unlock Executioner, and do the one shot build that's getting nerfed (by giving enemies crit resistance)
Is Vampire bugged? Killing elites are supposed to restore HP to max, but nothing happens.
When is this dumb hitching going to be fixed? Keep having to exit because the game can freeze on a description screen you can't exit from.
>The release of v1.0.6 is scheduled for 18~19 Jan 2024.
I know I'm probably late to the party, but I just kinda accidentally assembled this combo and it feels pretty nice. It's basically Fatal Blow
Steak reviews really are a marvel to look at. Literally all negative reviews are from sub one hour morons complaining about the skill use system. Meanwhile every review with several hours of playtime is positive.
At release it was much worse where you met skill charge draining elites starting from 1st floor and equipment mods to counter them were half as weak as they are now. I would assume most are from first days after release.
Majority of negative reviews is actually not in English, and it's about the shit translation (or game straight up not running in Korean).
If you're going to be moronic at least don't make it so easy to call out.
So are we going to play the screenshot game? What are you even trying to accomplish here?
Try to be less moronic next time.
>Literally all negative reviews are from sub one hour morons complaining about the skill use system.
>Literally all
>Meanwhile every review with several hours of playtime is positive.
>every review
So you are basically just a autist that can't help but take everything literally, looking to create trouble over literally nothing because you are bored?
I didn't expect the thread to have morons like you with how niche the game is but alas.
>make stupid claim about how anyone displeased with 2 is just a whiner who barely touched it
>get called out
>"I-I didn't mean it literally, bro! Chill!"
Don't be moronic next time.
>"I-It doesn't matter! I won!"
You are such a sad existence it actually saddens me we share the same thread.
It would probably make you sadder to know that I gave the game a positive review and I still think you're moronic.
Why does that even matter? I never said you hate the game, you are just a moron with too much time fishing for imaginary wins in a Mongolian basket weaving forum.
I wonder if the people complaining about exhaustion and uses/Remaining Protection remember that in BB1 you absolutely needed:
>Alert
>Mirror
>Limit Break
Or else you would randomly get instagibbed by just about everything
In other news, I hope he brings back Shield Disconnect
You can also find Origin passives on Head lab parts. I just found Pauper. Weird
At this point it's safe to say you can pretty much find any passive in the game. Although origin passives would probably be the least desirable ones.
You say that, but there were a handful of passives in BB1 that were impossible to get as passives (the most noteworthy one probably being Wavy Attack). You could even catch monsters with these passives, but if you tried to extract them it would skip over that passive and extract the next one instead
I know elf executioner is the meta right now but theoretically how would dragoon executioner compare? I can guess elf/exec would be better for pve but what about pvp?
It's good too. Elf is the braindead poorgay build but once you have contracts with good runes you could probably make something that works well in PvE. Shuriken has better crit rate, so if you have the damage to kill you don't need Genius.
Yeah genius is perfect for low level runs and low level pvp but once you start doing 20+ floor runs, it's probably doing more harm than good.
Also I know that it doesn't matter that much, but dragoon also has much more suitable executioner stats. And having like 4 health stacks that can't be death blown is pretty crazy. Especially if you somehow get the immortal passive.
>immortal
is there benefit to having more HP stacks when Dragoon wants to stay on the first one as much as possible?
No there is not, I am just moronic and forgot the dragoon passive requires max stacks.
For this reason, I think the God build is to have found Dragoon on a lab part and attach it to a combination that has zero HP Stacks. For example, Ghost Death Knight would give you 75%+ resists to all damage types, immunity to crits, and immunity to status effects
Yeah that's what I realized as well. Dragoon as a race is fine but it's passive is kinda wasted on it.
Having it as a lab part would be god tier though.
Imagine a ghost death knight with the dragoon passive AND shield revival.
Good luck killing that.
What's the best race for death knight? I really want to play this job but it just seems so clunky.
>>make stupid claim about how anyone displeased with 2 is just a whiner who barely touched it
I'm not that guy, but this did predominantly seem to be the case when I looked at Steam reviews over the weekend
tfw this comfy niche thread already has a schizo
Are there any tank jobs that aren't the paladong?
I wouldn't really refer to anything in this game as "tank" (or "DPS"), because you pretty much need to be tanky no matter what you play. When you say "tank", do you mean "reflect damage"? Since getting a Shield Revival lab part, I've been playing Ghost as a Shield mage basically, and one of the Ancient spells gives you magic reflect damage. Ghost is inherently tanky as long as you stack phys resist, so you can pair it with any job (including paladin). There's also the typical Elf Executioner build which dodges and parries everything and is incredibly tanky because of that
Tank as in actually focusing on defensives, rather than just "being tanky enough". I imagine that aside from Reflect there's also MaxHP.
Basically if there's anything that benefits from stacking autistic amounts of bulk and/or if any job gets some defensive stats by default.
>and/or if any job gets some defensive stats by default.
Giant, Dragoon, Ghost, Paladin, Angel, Saint, Fairy
Again, also Elf because she gets 1 turn of Transparency/Shielding every time she evades, and if she's not evading then she's parrying. Elf Executioner is the fotm OP cookie cutter build for a reason
>lizardman gets 1 health stack back if you escape
>absolutely useless if you remove the 100% utility skill from your bar
>escape sometimes doesnt work despite being 100%
>loses it all to executioners anyways
i don't get it, is it really good enough to be a passive??
Escapes are useful, and it doubles as healing.
Is it better to play on mobile or PC?
Probably just whatever you personally prefer. The next patch should repair/implement the cross save function, so you'll be able to upload your data and download it to whichever device you prefer interchangeably

>We have decided that “Non-permanent resources” are indispensable in realizing “Difficulty in which players have to deal with gradual approach to death” rather than “Unreasonable difficulty in which players suddenly die with a single blow,” which has always been considered a problem in the previous Buriedbornes1.
Suddenly dying in a single blow is still a problem in 2, though.
Avoid critical + plate armor seems neccesary
I hope the performance is fixed. The hitches were to the point it was too unfun to play and I just dropped it until it would get fixed.
I'm mostly sure it's that auto save doing the hiccup. There must be some way to implement it without the performance issue.
the stuttering is gone on my end, looks like the update fixed it.
Its better but I was still feeling the lag deep in pride. Specifically moving between rooms
eho is making the new update thread
You can. Include the trello should be it well and finding a better picture

i would if i wasn't phone posting while waging

How the frick do you even read this site? Is it left to right chronological? Is each column its own issue? Are these basically just his own notes to himself for things to work on in the game, in public format?
It's not that hard
Each column is a category
Each post under those categories is a seperate note, sorted chronological
It's just a devblog about releases and planned features
What is Sociability?

Thanks, seems like you can click on everything in this game, not used to it.
>finally can do pvp with my pretty good builds
>get 3 executioners who get to spam their whole combo before I can press a button
ok
>start DS4Windows while the game is already up
>set up a profile using the keyboard shortcuts
>play just fine
>DS4Windows is still up from yesterday
>start BB2
>my DS4W profile is overwritten by the fact that BB2 now recognizes my controller as a controller
>I do not like BB2's default keybinds
annoying
Bros, I'm gonna do it. I'm going to use an item and hope that I don't randomly die to something along the way
I've been bringing anything that I can buy with silver coins. Having a spellbook to replace some trash right from the start is great, and the +25% HP/damage ones are useful too.
Lost angels wings
>[Each dungeon] Added a bonus mission to earn up to 1000~3000 gold shards
>[Each dungeon] Added a bonus mission to earn up to 1000~3000 silver coins
>[Each Union] Add a bonus mission to earn up to 100~500 Union Credits every week.
The gold shards missions PER DUNGEON seems fricking OP
>keystone that disables healing is 11 floors
>keystones that reduces healing by 100% is 22 floors
lmao
What's the easiest dungeon to do after Highway? So far I only really do well with Cleric, working on Ranger now.
Click the bottom right. This is sorted by "difficulty"
Either the drop rate is extremely low, or getting 6* boxes has some hidden criteria.
I was at 500 risk from about floor 10 and did every side dungeon, and got 30 5* boxes, about half of which were event rewards. but only one 6*.
Oh I should mentioned the box in question dropped on floor 28? And my run was to 31, so not many chances to get more after that.
Any info on scoring yet? I wanna get rid of my shameful elf exec high score on my profile
Uhh... I just noticed that I unlocked a red contract somehow
So that's a thing I guess. I have already had 3 or 4 times where I die, and on the killed screen it shows a red treasure box. I guess these contracts are what's inside the red treasure boxes
>robbed of HIS family
>if only SHE had stopped
what exactly is behind machine translations doing this? I thought gender was pretty clear in japanese, but I keep noticing this lately
As soon as I can tear myself away from my addiction of grinding this game, I plan to throw in my hat to help the translation. I had in my head an entire uniformity to the lexicon of BB1, but I never acted on it. If nussy does actually add the skin for BB1's Demon class into BB2, then I will owe it to him to help out
I got one from clearing Disasters.
Called "Revenge" and dropped from Avenger, name makes me think it's related.
I see, maybe I got that from Pride then. I wonder what the chance is? Because I've killed more than just Pride but this is all I've got
>Excessive Defense
>Whenever you take direct damage, Revenge is auto-used
So this is significantly underwhelming. At least on my build. Not worth 250 Soulstones (for me). This contract seems to want to be on a Saint heal/reflect damage build, maybe with the self-harm spell equipped with a healing rune
Actually, I take this back. It is fricking shredding people in Battlefield. Not very useful for the actual dungeon though
I think it's good, Revenge is staple for Paladins and this would basically be an infinite use version that doesn't take up a slot.
Probably much easier to find as a lab part than a contract though.
Why is it so addicting?
I feel bad for my poor miner, he's been stuck for weeks in a room mining soulstones with a scarecrow that slowly nibbles his health as he constantly regenerates it with autoheal.
I promise the next one will be put in a room with a cute harmless monster like an alraune.
Got this guy as a boss in Spire, instead of Kidnapper. Might be because of being at 600 risk?
I guess that explains the two empty spaces between each boss in Buriedpedia.
That's pretty sweet. Good to see that risk/savage actually does something somewhere
How are you farming risk? Are you doing high floors and fighting every enemy and taking forever, or are you doing something else?
Challenger, Snowbros contract has it. I'm actually running the Pacifist origin too.
You get two fights per room, 6% each, and then lose 2% (unless it's a dark room). Adds up very fast.
Some events give a nice chunk as well, killing the event monsters is a big boost too.
How many floors? I've done a couple high risk runs but it took way too long for my liking. Are you doing low floors high risk, or high floors high risk and taking hours?
I'm still a keystonelet so I'm in the 30-40 floor range right now.
Does doing 30-40 give you red parts (assuming you are equipped with red parts)?
Yeah, I've gotten a job head already. Plenty of 4* lines too (as in, 20-40%, so I assume they're 4*)
I do also have the contract with Growth Prospect though, and I try to slap it on near the end.
Cool, sounds good. Maybe I'll try a ~30 floor run next time instead of 80+ and see what happens. I also use the Growth Contract. I'm still have no idea what the lower threshold for any big drops is, so I've been going balls to the walls every time but it is taking so long now
I would suggest going for ~40 instead, since if the 6* coffers start popping out after floor 25 or something, it might be worth getting more time in the sweet spot for them.
Will do, ty
Another one, from Caves. Only a bit above 500 risk this time.
I just got Automaton. How should I go about farming lab parts?
it'd be nice if we could tag a number of skills/equipment/runes so that when you're rerolling for something it'll give you the confirmation window(for rerolling 6-7* items) in case you click too many times
I'm sick of accidentally rerolling quick shot
Books cost only 100 silver and Reuse exists if you need more than one.
and if I don't have Reuse?
my point is that there's already a bunch of ways to eliminate RNG from the run but not very early on.
in a hundred hours I might have most of the contracts from a few or most of the unions and then I can just craft anything I need during the run or bring it in beforehand.
but until then I'm stuck spamming reroll and getting impatient.
Yeah not much that you can do then, I'd say bring contract but that one's level 8.
Hard to do especially after battlefields got flooded by instagib builds so you can't even do the 15k quest.
Oh huh, I found a 6* box on floor 24.
Why is there even an option not to have the rabbit take back your boxes?
Finished farming gold shards in BB1 for transfer, time to finally start to grinding BB2.
>farming
you can only transfer purchased gold shards
Yeah I had bought 1800 before and had 1300, so I farmed some leftover missions to get the full amount back.
Man, dual-wield is pretty wild on a Fairy Ancientmancer. Doubling your schield count with a free skill is nothing to scoff at.
do you know if dual wield on samurai makes the double slash hit 6 or 5 times?
I think it should? All my fairy's skills trigger twice.
>my God Mode Fairy run was ended only by Temptation
In the end the only one able to kill me was myself...
Deep.
Duplicate/Strengthen Equipment feel way too good to never bring as contracts
I think that for 150 you have a good chance to just roll another one with enhanced reroll.
Takes too long and if youre also throwing a few crafts at it no way is it cheaper if you do it like every 5 floors
Ive seen it strengthen all 5 stats. Percentages max out at 25% and might depend on floor though
Ehh.... Duplicate equipment just makes a straight copy of the item and strengthen doesn't really improve it all that well for how much it costs.
>One of the better builds is a shitty fairy pushing people off ledges
SOVL...
Reminder that Fairy's skill is apparently getting nerfed in some way along with Executioner
I've just tried running a fairy with a Spell Shield skill instead and it still does good enough, especially when you pile up skill boosting.
Yeah, I've basically been doing Fairy with Spell Shield on non-Fairy builds as well
How do you deal with 200% evade if Aiming isn't a skill anymore?
True shot skills/runes. Retaliation skills
Throw Blades burst s guaranteed hit.
Evade doesn't work on non direct damage like delayed or reflect.
Keys still drop in other dungeons when high enough, right? Very tired of my high score getting fricked over by 700 risk Ancient King random.
I've gotten random green keys every time I've tried stuff like getting the 50k score on Highway for Dog
As long as you have at least floor 20, keystones drop.
Rerolling hundreds of Soulstones for runes has now become my least favorite part of the game. I'm almost to the point where if I can't craft the rune, then I'm just gonna forget about it. It's insane that sometimes I will go 500+ soulstones without getting something like Shift, but I'll pass over multiple yellow or orange runes in the process
Yeah, I grab a recipe for whatever rune is essential for my build, and only start rerolling once I have enough slots on 3-4 skills to have more options.
It seems like the pool of skills/runes is limited in a single event.
Well then I'll stop dropping 100+ stones on one thing hoping to get it. Thanks
Do auto runes ignore cooldowns?
Yes in the context of "skills will have CD of 1 when activated by an auto rune"
No in the context of "skill will activate when it's on CD"
Different anon, but do they also gain a consumption of 1 when activated by auto?
So if you pick up, "Maximum Uses" on a piece of equipment or something, it will not up the count of your current skills but all skills acquired only after the "maximum uses" is picked up? Does it work the same way if acquiring "maximum uses" through the skill tree?
No, it raises your maximum uses for all skills, including current ones, and once you reach a camp they all will be refilled to that level.
Now I only need a keystone to remove health stacks and it's total shieldlet death from there on.
I wonder how existence of this thing is supposed to be balanced with the upcoming rework that pumps HP while reducing the health stacks lol
Some of the keystones don't make any sense to me. Like, how is that keystone only +11F? Meanwhile I have a +22F that is only "your level is capped at 50" which really isn't that bad
Does that one also caps the enemies?
No it does not
Well,, now that makes senses.
Because Kimaris caps EVERYTHING at 1 hp. Nussy what the actual frick
Ahhhhh okay. I guess that does make more sense
After more in-depth investigation, it seems like the cap only applies to the enemies after their first health stack.
Which is still broken.
There's a 20 something one that's just "healing reduced by 100%". Meanwhile reducing your HP to 1 (basically negating healing) is 11, and so is "healing is disabled".
Who knows what he meant by this.
This would work with effects that say, "when cooldown is x or more x happens" correct?
yes
Found a bunch of these today. There should be one for each attribute, but drop rates are wrong and Red one is way more common.
So, uhhh...Has anyone checked what happens when you put Inverse rune on the smoke bomb?
You make the opponent run away. Doesn't delete stuff in the room like it usually would.
What are the bestest uses for Invert?
I somehow unlocked Dragoon but I'm confused as to how he got unlocked.
All those elf executioners that I've encountered are nothing if they cant kill you first round. Running an ancientmancer ghost helps a lot. But the status ailment temptation especially if you are not aware of your status bar? 1 button press is all it takes for you to fail...
>elves now crit my fairy for ~30 damage
beautiful
Is there a shield ignore skill or stat? Running into a fairy who somehow pumps their shield to like 40k before I could attack is scary...
I haven't found any. If there were Shield ignore skills/stats, then I think Shield builds would be completely worthless and you wouldn't even see them anymore, because pretty much everything that uses a Shield has low HP
In BB1, Shield functioned basically like the HP stacks do now. There is no such function in BB2, so to be able to bypass it would cause it to be strictly worse than an HP Stack or HP
Is there much reason to use any of the unlockable origins besides Pacifist and Avenger? The rest seem really underwhelming in comparison.
Healthy enhancement 20% vs 4/level stat?
Probably per level stat since it's always active. Also do both healthy/defiant % work if your corpse has no health stacks?
>Also do both healthy/defiant % work if your corpse has no health stacks?
They seem to both work at the same time, yes
>keep trying to roll a good Boost rune for my shield free skill
>Get 2 Barrier and Slayer runes instead
RNG-sama...I kneel.
Anyone know how ironclad and sanctuary work/stack? If you have 75% phys res and 20% ironclad, do you get 95% as per the cap? Or you can have 0% phys and 95% ironclad and you have 95% as per the cap?
Any way that this could work, it seems like the design would be off.
I believe it's the latter, because Caterpillar gives exactly 95% Ironclad and Sanctuary.
>Quick Shot Pertification/Invincibility spamming Elf Executioner
Battlefield is so fricking cancerous holy shit
>reached a lab part progression point where my fairy can no longer be killed by anything in battlefield
>but now i run into stall, which i must manually out stall
>then I run into this mother fricker (with the BB1 ancient king skin) and i can't hurt him and i can't out stall him
How do you even get 99+ uses of Invincibility?
In my case he had Quick Shot with the invincibility rune that triggers on burst and the rune that always makes the skill burst mode + another Quick Shot with an invincibility rune, all with maxed out skill uses. Every other skill also was Quick Shot, all with Petrification. It took like 30 minutes for me to finally run out of skill uses and die. Such an obviously intentional build to frick over other players like Jesus Christ what the frick is wrong with you
I'm now gonna sit 40 minutes rolling for an Expel rune just to avoid shit like this.
That auto rune when you use a free skill + ancient shield is just bullshit.
Dancing sword is the best int based summon right?
What are Dancing Sword's parameters? Because I was never impressed by Dancing Sword any time that I summoned it
Outer One's Evil God might be the best INT based one in my opinion. I don't know if the special summons (like Miracle) are your highest stat or are something like PIE
Yeah about that. I'm wrong in assuming dancing sword is actually not the best int summon. So it's still str/dex based and adapts your weapon's properties. The best int based summon is the frog in ninjutsu. The Evil God is too risky as I'm going insane in each use and doesn't really fit into my build.
I don't remember if the Entangling Roots wolf is int/dex or if I'm just tripping, but that one is pretty good too. It gets +50% accuracy I think
Is there any way to grind for goldshards or does it just want my credit card?
There are a shit ton of mission in each dungeon for 10 gold shards a pop for completing the dungeon with the various jobs and races, and then there are gold shards for floor count and I think score as well. He said he's also going to add 1k-3k bonus missions for gold to each dungeon once all the bugs are fixed (it was supposed to be 1.0.6, but now it's 1.0.7). There are also 10 gold rewards for leveling up later Union ranks, and each new dungeon and each new Union will also have the gold missions
Otherwise, yes, your credit card
>There are a shit ton of mission in each dungeon for 10 gold shards a pop for completing the dungeon
I haven't seen this, do I find them in the dungeon or is their a list somewhere? Apologies if these questions are moronic, still trying to navigate my way through the overworld map.
Click the icon on the dungeon screen that is a pile of gold
Ty
You get enough to buy all the unions from clears. Then each class or race give shards based on floor breakponts per dungeon. 10 per. Then next patch a mission for 1k will be added. Besides skins don't see much of a point but im using a no inventory keystone lol
It says it inherits your weapon's abilites. But it's attack and HP varies each time you summon it for some reason? I know summons scales with levels but that's not it. I experienced it getting summoned with 10k HP and some odd 5k-8k damage. Other times it's 170k with 200k damage average then summoning it again it goes back to a lower stat. That's what I'm observing, so could it be the current state of your character with some buffs or boosts? It really varies for the most part.
Got challenger for the head part. Should make pacifist able to hit heat nice
Speaking of Pacifist, I got offered Rebel but passed it up. I didn't think of it back then, but now I'm curious what happens when you disable both normal and elite mobs.
How do you even deal with high heat? I've been to 400%~ before, but lately I've been getting fricked with regards to camping not showing up for enough floors that it starts becoming an issue
Depends on your build and stuff. I just finished a 63 floor run with a 999% Risk with my Fairy and it honestly wasn't particularly difficult as I deleted all the elites in one-two turns.
Damnit there goes my 300 gold I accidentally created a syndicate. What advantages does it have anyway aside from being a guild with a list of players?
I don't think anyone knows. I don't think Syndicates even work right now
I joined a random syndicate from the whisper chat, all you get is a private chat and a list of members.
I assume the dev will give newer skins right? I really want a lich skin. I'm also willing to shell some cash out if that's what it takes but none of the skins interests me, Well maybe Godric or the Ancient King one but those are not what I'm looking for right now.
I am already completely over this Invincibility abuse shit in Battlefield
Anyone figure out how to get the red contract drops more reliably?
Disaster ones?
If it's the same as regular monsters, it's probably 1% drop chance when you kill the boss.
You don't need savage or high floor for them, so unless those increase the drop chance your best bet would be speedrunning them.
>it's probably 1% drop chance when you kill the boss.
God damn, really? That sucks, but also I've been extremely lucky if it's only 1%
As far as drop chances or whatever, I've been doing level ~40 runs, and anecdotally, I feel as if my part luck has been worse. I've been getting reds (because I'm running with red) but I feel as if they have been lower quality, and I have not gotten any new unique passives. I am starting to feel as if the breakpoints are the same breakpoints for gold missions (0/25/50/100) so I'm going to start running 50F and see if I notice anything different
I made it up, it sure feels closer to 3% or something now.
>25
You mean 30
>You mean 30
Sure, yeah, whatever the gold missions are I don't remember
>Ghost has a skill that does 3x Delayed Damage
>Pirate has a passive that accelerates Delayed Damage by 1 turn every time it's applied
Oh yeah, I'm brewing.
My consciousness is going in and out from traversing 37 floors of Pandemonium only to get my run ended because of that damn charm status. My fault for not paying attention but still damn, RIP.
Is there some build that uses energy transfer?
Is Outer One (Insanity) basically the only use of Resistance Reversal? Are there any other uses at all of this thing?
Doesn't Outer One get some Void nullification? The ones I faced in PvP just took no damage from me.
I don't know. I thought they gained Insanity from some skill which I thought lowered Void resistance, so in my mind RR would increase Void resistance on Outer One (or any Insanity build) but I could be wrong. I just can't think of a use for it outside of Insanity
Yeah, so Insanity decreases Void resistance, and Outer One starts with it. So if they had Resistance Reversal, it would be +100% Void resistance at max
Are there any other uses for Resistance Reversal?
But that doesn't explain it, Insanity needs to build up, so how would they be taking 0 damage from the very first turn?
>But that doesn't explain it
I have no idea anon, I don't know what your build was or what their build was in this scenario. I asked a question about Resistance Reversal and asked if there are any applications of than Insanity
Just installed BB2, and almost all the icons are blue squares. Tried reinstalling and waiting for a bit as per the user support, same result.
I searched the discord and there is one person who has the blue squares also, but it seems as if no one replied to him. He apparently has a Moto e7
I think I saw the dev say this is due to phone having not enough RAM or something like that and he'll fix it by cutting up the icons file into multiple separate ones.
>not enough RAM
that tracks for my device's specs, guess i'll just have to wait
https://nussygame.com/en/bb2/bb2_v10007p/
1.07 beta
>[JST] 2024/01/25~26(Thu~Fri) Scheduled to be released.
Full release
Dragoon unlock is from something in the 5F Caves dungeon right? I've ran it like 10 times, is the unlock something else, or something specific I should be doing?
You need 10k score.
That explains everything, thanks.
Cheaters?
>Character data from cheaters has been confirmed, and the start of PvP dungeon challenges has been temporarily restricted.
>The restriction will be removed when v1.0.7 is released.
>We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
I'm betting it was the Invincibility abusing Petrification mother frickers that only recently started popping up
Would it be difficult to just send any character with like high winrate after X fights for manual checking and remove it from the pool until then?
It is time
I have no idea, but if I made a game I know that I would hate to have to manually review possible cheater accounts constantly
There was a retaliation paladin that seemed to be invincible in battlegrounds at lv100~ about a week or two ago. They were taking 0 damage somehow without any buff indicators when I had more than enough damage to one shot anything.
It came to a point I just ran his skill uses down to just his free skill. Unfortunately they can't die this way, and I was still doing 0 damage. I'm not sure if it's possible to reduce damage to 0 with any combination of items and skills without cheating, 95% is the reduction cap isn't it?
>It came to a point I just ran his skill uses down to just his free skill. Unfortunately they can't die this way
Enemies in Battlefield can die this way
>95% is the reduction cap isn't it?
My Fairy has 100% (capped 95%) Defiant Resistance. I never stack any more resistance than this, and the most damage I have ever taken from anything is ~60, which is not enough to eat through Shield. I would imagine that a Ghost equipped with 100% Phys Resist (or Phalanx/Ironclad) as well as 100% Healthy Resist and 100% Defiant Resist (plus 100% Insanity) would take 0 damage from everything, since maxed out Defiant Resistance on its own is enough to literally never take triple digit damage
Huh, was that guy definitely cheating then? I ran through like 300 turns of skills, I had a lot of skill use and preservation, and that paladin ended up only using 1 skill towards the later half.
Eh, if this is true, does anyone have any idea how damage works then? The paladin didn't have any buffs aside from retaliation, and they were clean hits, no parry, miss, etc.
>Eh, if this is true, does anyone have any idea how damage works then?
Apparently my -0s have been the random Parry I have on my equipment and I just didn't notice, but I also do not have all of the layers of resist that's possible to have. It could round up to -1 as suggested
>Huh, was that guy definitely cheating then?
Possibly, I have no idea. I would think that cheating in BB2 would involve crafting a "perfect" loadout and then entering that into Battlefield rather than cheating infinite uses, but I don't know. All I know is that I've have exhausted a few guys before that I could not hit through their defenses. If the Paladin had like Remind on all skills except for one of them, then he'd never use that one and if you do not yourself have Exhaust or something then the uses on that ability would never lower
There's the invincibility from few effects, but you'd see it in their status effects. I think even the most mitigated damage gets rounded up to 1.
>I think even the most mitigated damage gets rounded up to 1.
It does not. I very frequently take "-0" damage with my only defense being 100% (95% capped) Defiant Resistance. I'll try to grab a screenshot
>Parry
I'll see if I can get one without a Parry. I have a random 12% on an equip, but that could also answer the question. It could have been stacked Parry on equips or lab parts
It does seem like all my -0s are Parry, so you're probably right. My bad. All of my non-Parry hits are like -6. I don't have all the different resists stacks though, but regardless my -0s seem to be Parry like you said. The answer to the question could have been Parry though. Lab parts and equipment wont show up as a buff
So an easy add would be a daily dungeon with a set layout and set race/class/contract/inventory with a leaderboard
Does the Expel rune even work? Doesn't seem to do anything.
I think that neither Expel nor Lift actually do anything. At least I haven't noticed them working
Just got ~15 6* chests from a single Temple run. Three contracts, two equipments, a few books and 6 potions.
How many floors? How much Item Rarity+? How much savage %?
Also, does anyone know which hours are the ones Disasters appear during?
only 43 floors, +1 flat and about 40% rarity, and a lot of savage 500% very early on, I got turbo lucky, like 70% of chests were orange
Does 2 Equipment Rarity +1 passive bonus stack with each other?
I believe all the +1 rarity effects have a cap of 1, right?
Where to get more keystone?
Do any dungeon at floor 20+
>pick a no crits keystone
>mod board is has three final blow nodes and 10 crit chance nodes
>4 days without battlefield
>4 days without efficient lab parts farming
>If you do too many runs you might even waste characters
They are basically asking me not to play at all at this point
Time to buy more graveyard spaces, gaijin.
I have been actually thinking of doing this since we will get some extra gold anyway.
Are we certain this is how it works though? I don't want to buy it just for it not to matter.
I assume that's how it works but I just want to make sure.
Hey bros, I haven't played in a week since I've finished my first Pandemonium with Lizard-Exec. What should I focus on?
I'm about lv15 in 3 different clans and will probably do lv10 with everyone to get some easy shit.
Need some general progression tips, or throw in some interesting combos if you have any.
>beta has Battlefield reenabled
>it's just Invincibility abuse again
How do you deal with this other than running their uses out? How is it so common to have permanent (and multiple) Invincibility buffs?
>Need some general progression tips, or throw in some interesting combos if you have any.
The best/easiest cookie cutter builds for clearing are
- Elf/Executioner with Parry and Quick skills
- Fairy and/or Spell Shield with "Ancient" (shield based) spells and/or Shockwave (also shield based)
I recommend joining every Union and doing a run or few in each one. The first Union quests are very easy to complete and rewards a lot of points, but the later ones are more difficult and time consuming. Since the points reset each week, I think it's most effective to get a few thousand points in each Union and then go to the next one. As far as other progression, it seems to be framing Lab Parts and rare Contract drops that are not attainable from Unions
>you can use the menu to run away now
Well that solves that problem
In BB2? I'm in the last room before the camp and about to die to an Inmortal Basilisk, I don't have time to spend 10 turns on him
In the beta build, yeah. I don't know if it was added in 1.0.6 and I never noticed or if it's a 1.0.7 beta thing, but you can run away from the menu now. Very helpful for the Battlefield dudes who have seemingly infinite Invincibility buff on them
I've only used it once myself but it took like 30 uses from one of my skills.
For me, it took 20 from one, 10 from another, 10 from another, and left one alone. Still, not a bad trade off against the infinite Invincibility builds
Seems that it takes 10 charges from a random skill 5 times, and it can hit Free skills too, but not already exhausted ones.
>Fixing a bug that caused the effects of keystones to be applied to enemies.
>Adjusted the performance of the free skill "Parry" downward.
From 1.08 notes. 1.07 is in review on app stores now
So how many of you guys are playing on the beta build?
I am thinking of doing it but I am not sure if it's worth the risk of getting your account rolled back.
I am, just upload your save to the server if you're worried, maybe backup the folder in appdata too.
>theorycrafting a pvp build that's as obnoxious as possible to fight against
>realize the best combo is probably just Devastating Blow with Auto:Damage and stun protection
For my money, the most annoying combo is whatever the build is that gives permanent Invincibility and Petrify
I found one of those permanent Invincibility + Petrification while I had Scouting. This is the most annoying build imo
Did Nussy just add 3000 fricking gold shards for just doing each dungeon 3x?
>got a really bad run chest wise, only 5 oranges in 60 floors
>three contracts
okay
also has anyone succeeded in finding the key subdungeons? as far as I know they're impossible to access right now, but maybe I missed something
>really bad
>5 oranges
That seems pretty good to me. The only special contracts I've gotten are 2 from Disaster bosses
What happened to the 1000 apologems?
https://nussygame.com/en/bb2/bb2_v10007r/
>Dungeon missions with a total of 3,000 gold shards
>Dungeon missions for a total of 3,000 silver coins
>Weekly union missions (for each of the currently implemented unions) for a total of 450 credits per week.
>*Will be added sequentially at the weekly update of each account’s union mission.
They were always going to be apologems that you had to earn, not given for free
All the early classes feel like fricking shit to play in this. And it feels like they're extra worthless without getting lab parts on them first. And then the dungeons all having gimmicks added to them makes it even worse.
Caterpillar seems to be bugged, it appears to only count the 3% mutation gained from Chrysalis, and not mutation gained from runes, so even if you enable Chrysalis and then go over 100% mutation by using skills with mutation runes, you won't transform until you pass a minimum of 34 turns anyway.
The bug is that you need to get hit after reaching 100% to trigger transformation
why is the music so shit in bb2? I don't want to use my smt ost
You can take -0 damage from an attack that was not a Parry
what the frick of Bravery?
The little white fire things under yours and the enemy's HP bar that when you get to 4 you enter Burst
well, I should have figured it out myself, but seeing how I butchered the past above maybe I'm just moronic
thank you anon
>Avenger (or whatever her name is) - Revenge
>Orcus - Satiation
>Pride (?) - Accomplishment
Anyone have the others? Agonis, Flaus, Outer Eye, Prophet. Is there 7 of these, or are there more? Are they supposed to be the 7 sins or something?
There's 8. Here's the Outer Eye one. Could have more but didn't bother getting them since they mostly aren't very good.
Evil Research is "20% of Shield is added to INT"
I've been enjoying Excessive Defense quite a bit. I haven't tried Cursed Spirits or Spider Incubation yet. Evil Research does seem pretty lackluster though
When I end up getting all of these, I want to try them out at the same time. Like a Ghost build with Spirit Form that stacks HP would have a really good Retaliation (Excessive Defense), it would have a really good Curse (Grudge + Cursed Spirits) because you're stacking HP and that value is added to your Shield, and then with Evil Research part of that would be added to your INT, and the Poison spell is INT based (Spider Incubation). In this little brainstorm, however, I kinda feel like the Evil Research and Spider Incubation are a bit superfluous, because they'd take up room, the spiders are only summoned on a kill, and you'd probably just have a Cursed Spirit out most of the time anyway
I wanna try Ghost Pirate but Pirate doesn't work right now. Spell Mine and Grudge preemptively applying 3 stacks seems fun on paper. I think the job is meant to tick them down by 1 whenever you apply another one, so one cast would trigger the other immediately.
You missed Sentinel
Where do you get these exactly, and do they stay or get consumed?
Random drop from the Disaster final bosses.
How do you see when the next disaster is?
check if belly hurts and dinner was indian
Can you link mobile and Steam yet?
Can you guys show me your own ancientmancer build? Preferably under ghost.
What does Ancientmancer bring to the table? Why choose Ancientmancer over any of the other things?
Because I want to play with a lot of shields? Besides that you can take advantage of pretty much the other skills that sets you at 0 HP dot. I want to play around that pretty much. Also that's the class where I was most successful in the Battlefield.
I've been mostly playing shields but I see zero reason to choose Ancientmancer. The only reason I'd choose Ancientmancer is to give 0 HP Stacks to Dragoon so that Dragoon can ignore Critical hits. Any reason you'd choose Ancientmancer, I think you'd be better off choosing Fairy
Ok Fairy it is then. I just want to play around a character which has immediate 0 HP stack and so far it's the one with the best runs I have. Not even executioner gives me this much success in runs. It's something that I clicked with if that makes sense.
Yeah, I've been liking Fairy a lot more than Executioner, but I've never actually played Ancientmancer. I just don't see why you'd pick it besides to give Dragooon zero HP stacks
Basically it comes with Ancient Fire as a starting skill and the restore shield on burst saved me on a lot of sticky situations. Now that I think about it, I think the reason I was more successful in an ancientmancer start is because of the smoother early game compared to other classes, at least in my experience. You could call it just "clicking" for me and say I now formed an attachment to it.
Ancient Fire and Ancient Spark are both on the same Contract that you could take, and I've never had an issue with needing more shield as Fairy. Depending on how Fairy Powder gets nerfed, that could change though
I don't know if this is gonna be nerfed but if you are aware Ancient Shield's burst basically gives you Str+Dex which scales with how much shield you currently have. It gives your summons a butt load of HP and damage. That's the build I'm running and that's where I'm mostly successful. I don't have fairy yet but I imagine that's the race that will maximize ancientmancer so I'm going with that.
Yeah, I'm not a fan. I feel like it's trying to do too many things. For summons, I just take Shadow Walk if I find it (duplicates your character)
I want to pleasure ohnussy's boynussy showing my gratitude for releasing bb2 ToT
The 25% one should be better, right?
Yeah, it'll affect events, and I think every single enemy drops at least 4 soulstones.
spent over 100 gold but managed to clear pandemonium, now what?
>Unlock everything from all Unions
>Kill Disasters
>run Ominous/Jail dungeons
>farm Lab Parts
>try to get all unique contracts
There are 6* and 7* contracts that drop from dungeons, 6* seem to be from chests, 7* seem to be from Disaster bosses
How do you go into Savage if you bring Pacifist? If I don't find/bring Challenger and if I don't find one of those boss-type event things, then I have no idea how to get enough risk to get into Savage
You find/bring Challenger, simple as.
>BB1
>A disaster / season / other strong enemy appears in a dungeon
>You probably have a good chance against it if you have a halfway decent build going
>BB2
>One of those strong enemies appears in a dungeon
>You don't stand a chance unless you've already got strong lab parts on that character from succeeding in many runs with them already
I think you are over estimating the importance of lab parts. I was killing those things with noob level Necro/summons in the first few days
Sorry, I was assuming we weren't relying on the one gimmick build that we all know is completely broken.
Summons aren't even that good, bro
If you have a half-functional build you can take them on. I've been killing them with Human Ranger on day 1.
Honestly, how the frick do you even beat the build that have the Invincibility rune + permanent Burst rune in every single skill?
Patch notes for 1.0.8 are up on trello
Considering loading up on run slots just to ensure I get these stupid Disaster contracts
There's actually a pretty easy way to do that. The boss loot drop is rolled when you kill it.
I'm not sure what you're insinuating. Are you saying you can reset if you don't get the drop, or are you saying blitz to the boss?
Well if rushing to the boss was what I was saying, why would it matter whether it's rolled at the start of the dungeon or at the end?
I shall try, thank you
Just backup before the boss, I'm not actually sure if it's rolled when you kill it, or when you start the fight.
I have been trying this for quite a while now. I'm not sure it works like that. If it does work like that, then I have unironically previously had better luck just running the dungeon normally
I spoke to soon. It has eventually worked. God damn. The rates for these feel terrible. I've only done maybe 3-5 clears of the Disaster dungeons that I have the contracts for, so I thought the rate would be much better than needing to reset for over an hour to get this. Maybe I just got fricked by RNG this time
Is there a limited pool of skills for a particular run or something?
Yeah, 6 and 7 star skills and equips only appear in few dungeons each.
Fairy is completely ruined. It doesn't even give shield at all anymore. This should be something more like "gives 50%/100% of your max shield" in contrast to Spell Shield's "give 25% of max shield", kinda like how Angel's unique skill is just a strict upgrade to First Aid
Did the 5% over Spell Shield really give that much of a difference to warrant being nerfed?
Spell Shield
>25% of Max Shield
>Shield Amp +10% (lasts the entire combat)
Fairy
>30% of CURRENT Shield
>(no other effects)
Functionally, they [were] basically the same effect, but Fairy got to 9,999,999 shield faster. Spell Shield [had] the upside of increasing Shield Amp and also generating shield if you had zero, whereas Fairy did not generate shield unless you already had it, but you could scale to max much faster. I say they were functionally the same because you will never need your shield to be 9,999,999. Now, I think Fairy is just useless. It requires a 2nd spell in order to do anything; it does absolutely nothing on its own despite being a Free Skill. You'd have to get Skill Duplication and then equip Fairy's unique with Shielding (2% of max HP as shield) in order for it to do anything at all on its own. It's fricked up because Fairy's passive cleanses one debuff every time you gain a shield, but now they cannot give themseves a shield without jumping through hoops
Angel's skill is just a strict upgrade over First Aid. I forget if First Aid gives additional healing bonus or Prayer or something. This is what Fairy's thing should be, honestly. It should be a strict upgrade to Spell Shield, something like 50%/100% of max shield maybe. I have no idea why it's just 100% Shield Amp now. It does nothing on its own, but it's a free skill that you can't even easily put runes on
Angels skill is actually just a temporary upgrade to fairy because of their other passive that makes all health skills scale with your max healt.
You only keep it for a bit and then replace it with a first aid with multiple rune slots. Sure you are sacrificing 5% health but you are gonna get so much more from those rune slots.
*temporary upgrade to first aid
>pedantics about angel instead of anything about the fairy skill
You have missed the point entirely. You could just get skill duplication, rune release, and have a 4 slot Angelic Feather if you wanted it. As I pointed out, the real difference is the additional +10% that lasts the whole combat. I see no point in the new Fairy Powder. It should have been a strict (base) upgrade to Spell Shield the same way Angelic Feather is for First Aid
I have no idea why Fairy Powder is +100% Shield Amp. I see no reason why you'd want to scale Shield Amp on Fairy of all things without also providing Shield in that same button. I don't see the point in new Fairy Powder when Spell Shield exists
(You)
And I actually just realized that the +100% Shield Amp only lasts 2 turns. Spell Shield's is +10%, but it lasts the entire combat (stacking). What even is the intention for this ability?
It's like he nerfed Fairy Powder to the point that you can literally only use it with Ancient Shield
>turns
acts
it's basically doubling your next shield spell
>semantics
If you had read my post instead of trying to be correct or a know it all or nitpick or whatever you are trying to do, you would know that I very well understand what this is doing, and that it is seemingly pointless. It has been nerfed to the point that it can only really seems to be be useful with Ancient Shield
>inb4 you go look up some skills and then needlessly point out that things like Ancient Fire's burn scales with Shield Amp
If you want it, it is pretty easy. Skill duplication is pretty common on rerolled accessories at like +8%, and rune release is on at least one contract
I haven't missed the point. I don't play fairy and simply aren't interested in discussing her. My response was solely about angel because that's what I care about.
And unfortunately getting skill duplication or rune release isn't nearly as easy as you make it out to be in most runs.
Where?
Temple
>update gives out a bunch of gold shards
>nothing to spend them on but skins
>don't actually like any of the skins
do i just save them for when more unions get added?
This. I was gone buy Uriel's skin but I feel like I will get bored of it eventually and feel like I wasted them.
Although am also thinking of buying the extra 5 loadout slots since it seems like the best value.
>unlocked all the unions already
>got 3k gold shards sitting in my account
>still have 2k to get from the apology missions
>another 2k from transfer next month
nussy-san so generous, I wanna buy more gems to spoil him a bit~
keystones acquisition all rng? what can I do to get more of them?
>get more
play more, mate
I feel like my gameplay has progressed the the point where 90% of the time I am rerolling for red and orange runes that refuse to show up
I hope he adds contracts that can lock rerolling to a certain rarity.
I'd rather a contract that can just create all the red runes for like 500 soulstones each. I just spent like 30F trying to get the last -99 cooldown rune that I wanted and I gave up and went with a -5 instead because I got tired of rerolling
Or an auto-skip list you can modify, or reroll history, or probably like 10 possible improvements.
Yup yup
But yeah, earlier today I rerolled with skill dupe and rune transfer to get 5 slots instead of 4 on all my skills, then I didn't even bother filling them out in the end.
Yeah, even with Avenger it's such a fricking drag to get what you want.
Does there exist yet a list of unique 6* and 7* drops per dungeon? Like, I know that the Disaster contracts are unique, but are the 6* contracts also unique, or does it all pull from the same pool? And then what about 6* and 7* drops? Do those equipments and books all pull from the same pool, or are there, for example, only like 3 red drops in the entire dungeon, and this changes per dungeon?
I can't remember the exact numbers off the top of my head, but each 6* contract drops from exactly 3 dungeons (not counting Disasters).
Interesting. Do you know anything about the 7* drops? When I've been doing farming runs, it seems like I only ever get the same ~3 or so red drops over and over again each dungeon, but I don't know if that's the way it is or if that's just my RNG. Like I'll come back with 5 or 6 red drops, and they'll always be the same 3 or so drops multiple times
7* contracts (not disaster) I think are also 1 per dungeon, I think there's space for exactly 10 in pedia
equipment should also be 1 per slot per dungeon, but disasters seem to have a bigger drop pool for them, I got two accessories once, neither of them being the one you can get during the run
books and passive/consumable items I can't remember, there's multiple of the latter at the very least
I just got dark Knight and I cant stop losing lol but I have no idea how to start thinking about how to make a cohesive build even with all the skills I saw so far :X
>Limit download frequency from saved data management to every 30 minutes
Rip
I don't get it can you do 2 preemptive turns after you made your turn? For example killing a summon and then having your turn again.
5* crap now drops on newest patch. You can get more Explorers and Ass Dags from Highway now.
There's also new 5* contracts that can drop.
>Go on a multi-hour high floor run
>Barely get anything useful out of it
Sigh
Yeah this is kinda my issue right now I can do a 40+ pandemonium a day but not getting any good items or lab parts from it makes me feel like I wasted my time
Does equipment fade while exploring or going through floors? I swear one of my equipment gave 25% focus and 14++ something shield but suddenly it's 15% and 11++. No I am not hallucinating and I took my meds (I think).
Oops did not meant to reply. This is my 4th run on a 45th floor dungeon forgive me if I'm a little on edge.
Enemies with Dissolve do that. Plating prevents it.
Ah I see so that's what plating is about. Sometimes this game has the wonkiest translation that some skills I can't decipher.
It would have been more "intuitive" if you had played BB1. In BB1, your equipment could even lose the named abilities on them. At least in BB2 it only seems to degrade numerical stats while leaving abilities alone
You can just do that copy equipped gear then enhance for 150 so plating never seems worth it
I think also that Craftsmanship almost has a sort of built in Plating. At least, if I pick up something with Craftsmanship, it always ends up with higher stats than even when I try to add new modifiers to it
>in battlefield
>can't die
>"abandon" no longer gives you lab parts
>don't want to waste several hours hoping that something can kill me
I guess I'm going to buy more slots
Does parts improve the more points or progress you have? From what I'm experiencing 0 points or 100,000 points is almost the same shit. Head part gives me 50% uses then another effect just replacing the second slot. Are good parts RNG regardless of sucess?
>Does parts improve the more points or progress you have?
>Are good parts RNG regardless of sucess?
Anecdotally, I tend to believe that higher floors or higher score correlate with a higher propensity to acquire new unique abilities on parts, but truthfully I do not know. The main thing is that I can't just abandon the run because you get no lab parts, but I also seemingly cannot die. I am in limbo
Additionally, lab parts seem to also be at least partially based on what you currently have equipped. If you have 7*s, you have a better chance of acquiring 7*s regardless of floor or score. If you have 3*s equipped, you will be hard pressed to get any 7*s even at high floor and score. So if you're building lab parts up for the first time, you should pretty much always choose whatever is the highest rarity. Not doing this cucked me for the first few days after release, I just didn't relaize it
You're right but not correct. "7* part" is irrelevant here.
Each part can have two lines, and each line can be between 1-5* rarity. The display caps at 7, but it can technically go up to 10.
I think around floor 30 you can only get 4* with a tiny chance for a 5, and as you go higher the chance for a 5 increases.
So if you have a 3* part, which is most likely a 1* + 2* lines, one of those will get replaced and you end up with a 5-6* part.
But in practice it's irrelevant, as you get a good line, and you can then replace the bad/empty one.
Huh, I didn't know it worked like that, thanks. That does track with my experience, which is that if I do like an 80+F, 200k+ score run I tend to get double uniques on at least the head piece. Getting uniques on the hand pieces seems a lot more difficult, and I've never seen uniques on the legs
If your goal is only doing well in BG, then 50F should be good. I guess that depends on your build and your contracts (and/or items) though. If your goal is farming the 6* and 7* drops or lab parts, then I have no idea, but I'm of the belief that the deeper you can go in a single run, the better. Anecdotally, I feel as if I get red drops more frequently at higher floors, and orange more frequently around the 30-60 range
Have you tried using Breakaway until you run out of skill charges?
Actually, I'm moronic. I found a camp which dismissed the Shadow Servant, and from there I was able to freely Breakaway. I am now dead. Thank you
I swear I'm going mad from all this farming. I'm currently at the point that I'm going through an average of 50 floors and I'm struggling to think that it will add on once I get more of those keystone drops. I don't even know what parts I'm aiming for to be honest. What floor limit is the most optimal for farming to keep my sanity? I can't just BG all day without doing a dungeon dive while making sure the character survives.
Did I miss the Prophet dungeon? Earlier, I saw that it was supposed to be later, but I can never fricking keep track of when the Disasters are, and the timer seems to only be active during the previous Disaster's time window, despite the fact that this is pretty much the exact inverse of what would actually be helpful
If you're still here, it just started a few hours ago anon.
>having fun all day
>get a run where I find one chest every 5 floors
>end with two 6* chests and no 7* chests, both are elixirs anyway
>fun is gone
why in the frick is this garbage on a disaster contract?
Seriously I don't see any value in that skill. Great if you get it very early and at low levels which is unlikely but seeing you only get it at savage mode and the contract clearly wants you to spend 300 stones, is just a big no. Almost every skill scales like crazy and this meme skill and to a certain degree paradigm shift exists? I think this skill needs to have all the effects under the sun and scale or adjust it to 666 to keep the meme to at least give it some use.
Show us the burst homosexual
>homosexual
I absolutely will not do anything for you. Find the shave a nice day and view exactly how completely and utterly shit it is yourself, and then think to yourself "damn, maybe I was the homosexual the whole time"
Seems like I touched a nerve homosexual.
You are in no position to demand anything, and you are in no position to insult a person you are demanding information from
I was just pointing out the obvious. If you are gonna complain about a skill being dogshit, and went out of your way to post a pic of the skill, may as well actually post the full skill instead of half of it.
Believe me, there are no demands here homosexual.
You sure are a demanding crying little homosexual aren't you? One day when you're a big boy and you find this skill (which I've done numerous times before getting this contract) you will see it for yourself, and you will remember this moment, and you will think to yourself "hot damn, I really was the homosexual the entire time"
>you will remember this moment, and you will think to yourself "hot damn, that homosexual was such a sensitive crybaby"
ftfy
No schizo, you will see it and you will indeed realize that you have been the homosexual this whole time. You will learn to ask for things like a human being. You seem to be quite pompous, so you wont, but that is what I'm trying to teach you. And trust me, when you grow up and see the skill, you will truly will know how much of a homosexual you are
>he keeps writing paragraph after paragraph because he got called a homosexual
Stop crying and grow up
>a double dose of no u
I accept your concession, schizo
Concession of what? There was no argument at all. You got called a homosexual, you cried about it, the end.
In case anyone is still curious, here's the burst. I'm not sure how it would be usable in any way.
It's probably just a remnant of the flat damage skills from BB1, but even those were useful as starting abilities.
>the schizo is still throwing out no u after no u in an attempt to save face
Trust me bro, when you finally grow up and find it on your own, you will realize how much of a homosexual you have been. Will you learn manners then, though? Probably not
>get called a homosexual
>butthurt about it
>pretend being called a homosexual is an argument so you can throw fallacies around
>win?
If it will make your day, so be it homosexual, you are indeed a true winner
>further butthurt schizophrenic rantings
It's all so tiresome
Vaxx really destroyed zoomers' ability to function like humans
How do I necromancer?
Just gun for instant cooldowns and spam summons?
Since enemies can recall your summon the ability to do damage on summon death seems crucial
>tfw keep dying around 10F in pan
I'm afraid I'm too dumb and will eventually drop it like the previous game
If you want it, just push on bro. Find some build(s) you like and the game opens up. My pipeline was
>necro summon spam
>elf executioner cookie cutter
>fairy/shields
And then there is also the self-harm/heal build I wanna try out when I get around to it, there's wererabbit/scavenger for collecrting things, and next patch Pirate will actually work so I want to pick my Ghost back up and try it out with that. Demon will also work in the next patch so I can start giving parts to it as well
Elf executioner is really braindead automode easy win stuff. Just get Parry, don't put any runes in it, and then fill the rest of your slots up with Quick skills
I just got a Werewolf head part. Not Lycanthrope, the transformed skill that gives 1 consumption and crit.
I wonder if you can find the Caterpillar ones too.
Using anything but Pacifist makes the game unplayable. Not because Elites are bullshit, but because they lag the frick out of the game for some reason. Using anything but pacifist results in like 3-4x as much time being spent just loading shit
I'm really curious what happens when you stack Pacifist with the one that disables regular enemies.
You could still farm soulstones with Mining + Auto:Move, but keeping Savage up would be almost impossible I imagine.
Might be BB2's version of that Flight + whatever the other modifier was in BB1. Could be useful for chest runs, assuming reds and oranges still drop in non-savage. Do they?
I heard they do, and I heard they don't. The don't was more recent however, so it'd basically require hoping for roamer event, which would then give you 2 floors of savage.
At the very least it's an easy way to farm up 4/5* stuff. Don't even need to kill the boss as you'd gain more crow skulls.
I think there needs to be more incentive to do short 10-20 floor runs.
The incentive is that they don't take multiple hours

Patch is live
>The next update v1.0.9 will be a revision focused on improving the overall game UI.
>The release date is scheduled for 7~9 February.
>didn't get to cheese Agonis drop
Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Thank you anon
savescumming on PC is still as easy as always
>switch contracts around
>unwittingly ditched the contract that lets you remove equipment lines
Holy frick, I did not realize how much I was crutching on this thing. It is so convenient to be able to remove stat lines from new armor and not being able to do that fricking sucks

Huge
Just finished a 60 floor Avenger run with Elf Executioner, new crit changes are annoying I love having 180% crit and still not criting because enemies get 280% crit avoid.
Also what is the point of player hp stacks? got to the last boss did my preempted quick spam removed all of its hp bars.
Boss does one move Scream I think removes my only extra hp stack instantly and then kills me in two turns because i cant land crits and its ignoring my 140%+ Evasion and 80% parry with barrier and substitute.
>Also what is the point of player hp stacks?
That is a very good question. I can't remember if it was "barrier" or "shield" (cuz iirc there were both) that basically functioned like that in BB1, and I remember I think it was Sylph functioned as having 3 of them and that was their gimmick
but anyway I've never valued player side HP stacks. They seem detrimental, honestly. Once I saw how easily I was able to shave off enemy HP stacks with Executioner, I instantly knew they were bad and a trap. Sure, they might buy you an extra turn when they work, but when they don't work you are completely fricked. Not to mention that shit like [Defiant/Healthy] [Enhancement/Resistance] functions simultaneously if you have zero HP stacks, I just don't even see the reason to have any, and in fact I actively avoid acquiring them
In case anyone was wondering, even though this says 99 treasures you can get more than that. I'm assuming this means like you can pick up 99 of the same item? Or it's a forgotten fragment of an earlier build. I ended up with ~150 chests and actually got all of them
Might be, since treasure used to go in your 5 inventory slots.
Seems to be fine even if you don't send them up.
Not a fan of the new nuke meta.
What is the "nuke meta"? I like all of the changes except Fairy. I was playing a lot of Fairy so obviously I don't like the change, but it's to the point that Fairy is useless. I have all of my good lab parts on Fairy, so I'm still playing it, but I'm taking the Spell Shield contract now because Fairy Powder has no use whatsoever outside of the Ancient Shield combo, which I was not using anyway. My build is functionally no different with Spell Shield, but it is incredibly annoying to have to bring that contract when I otherwise do not want it for anything else it brings. Fairy has an ability that cleanses debuffs when it gains a shield, so in my mind its ability should generate a shield. I probably sound like a broken record, but Fairy Powder should be to Spell Shield what Angelic Feathers is to First Aid. 100% Shield Amp is useless, especially given how fleeting it is
He nerfed the wrong thing, honestly. Fairy Powder still deserved a nerf, but if he's trying to kill the Ancient Shield + Fairy Powder combo, he should have killed Ancient Shield, not a Race's unique sklill
The meta where you get a 7* big nuke skill of your choice that does too much damage.
Eh, I've seen Fairies still doing really well, just ditching their racial skill. Half the racials suck honestly.
Yeah, that's what I said; I've been annoyingly bringing Spell Shield contract instead of using Fairy Powder. If I could freely move lab parts around, I wouldn't even be playing Fairy anymore, I'd be playing Ghost probably
>runs take entirely too long
>only have one Explorer item so I can't even park multiple corpses for future runs
>can't abandon the run because you lose the items if you do
bros i'm not comfy anymore

So if demon's selling point is oblivion gate, then why does zealot also get oblivion gate? While also getting to have another race? While also getting access to equipment?
