Everything needs to have meaning to zoomers because the world they've inherited has no meaning.
The biggest thing about nu-doom peeving me off is the blatant lack of level design. Everything is just a giant open arena with some shoehorned platforming and collectables.

The best part about this clip is that he has to memorize and actively go seek enemies because there's like three of them spawning in at a time. The game even has a system where only a couple of them will attack you at once, even if there's a whopping eight of them spawned in. The rest will just run and jump around waiting for their turn
