One of the most moronic dev teams I have ever wittnessed. >eah bro just build our f2p game around needing 25k concurrent players on steam
Not having gambling as one thing but not having anything at all while you keep giving away so many customes for free because of you moronic streamer cup challenge is a whole other level of selfinflicted harm.
>Farming Simulator 22 >Russian Fishing 4 >Governor of Poker 3
The frick? Is this bizzaro steam chart? How the frick shit like that even have 20k consistent concurrents?
Genuinely one of the most fun I had with a video game in a while.
Devs however were moronic and expected massive numbers for a niche multiplayer game.
The greatness that is Juliette will be forgotten and that makes me sad.
I wanted windjammers with waifus but instead I got league of legends. The game just felt like shit to actually play despite the fantastic character design.
wow I literally said this. My friends were like no thats moronic. but like if this game out 15 years ago and had arcade, a career mode or something and like some DLC people would still be playing it. then just sell skins forever. they also should of sold it for like $15 bucks
artist should just make porn games tbh. art carried the whole game. if anything the game was detrimental since the characters were so small and could get such little screen presence because of it.
>3v3Air Hockey >Ok I can get behi- >moba cooldowns >impossible to tell whats going on at any given time
Why do indie devs have this obsession with pointless complexity when Rocket League was so successful because of its simplicity?
Smash clones suffer from this shit as well.
Because you have to differentiate yourself from the crowd. Nobody wants to play a game that is exactly like Smash but has no Smash characters. You just play Smash at that point.
The difference here is that there's not that many air hockey games, so just having tight responsive gameplay and good character designs would have worked.
Their monetization was dumb and could never be self sustainable. That being said the game was already very niche so they should've charged up front instead.
It was a sweaty competitive game with depth and all that jazz, the kind of thing people will only play seriously for only one period of their lives, but if they do it's going to be for around 4k hours on average, and by people i mean zoomers, but to get zoomers you need marketing, and this game didn't have it. Older players might play for a bit but simply can't/won't stomach this kind of sweatyness again in their lives.
With that said every single character design was god tier, this game deserved an anime, or should've been an anime from the get go.
>Bad matchmaking >No leaver penalties(based) >Game not fun
Good riddance to PvP garbage. Remember, Genshin makes crap tons of money and it's PvE. PvP slop don't make shit unless it's pay2win
It was really fun but shit like the perspective, controls, and slow character movement really held it back imo.
Shit sucks, everything else about the game was god tier. Even the idea of dota soccer.
Could still have life if it had a pve mode for casuals to grind and play around with.
>Sweaty competitive game >No practice mode >Autistic teammates who rage when people don't know how to play or react due to no practice mode for a while.
A death deserved.
>hot characters
>shit gameplay
This happens often doesn’t it?
F2P games without hardcore FOMO usually don't survive for very long

Like yeah bro we totally going to have a top 50 game on steam with our noname brand new IP.
9 of those games are not sequels and started off as "no-name brand new IP's"

blame the krauts
Another case of pvp only game that tried to get streamers and esports gays behind it as the only way to keep it alive.

did they just now finally end development? after finally getting friend chat? so customs lobby chat never?
also post nao
The gameplay
Not supporting windows 7 and lie that it does.
Should have been normal paid game with single player arcade mode and optional local/online multi.

this. I don't have an interest in a game that only has multiplayer and no solo arcade/career mode
artist should just make porn games tbh. art carried the whole game. if anything the game was detrimental since the characters were so small and could get such little screen presence because of it.
Too concerned with trying to be a real esport instead of a casual game and just general unrealistic expectations.

it was better in beta
No cute barefoot girls
wrong
we have mods for that

It was a shit game where the only appeal was bland fap fuel and everyone knew it. The devs pandered to esports autists and ecelebs more than anything.
