Malver will stay alive as long his wonder drug won't run out. Rahn from the website description and Rahn from the final missions are like two completely different characters. You forgot to mention Reznov and Krukov but they are mind-raped even though they were immune, like cyborgs. Rashidi's character arc ended in Obsidian Sands, whatever he is going to do now as part of Foehn will be just repeating his arc of the inventor and manufacturer for a rising faction, which already happened with Epsilon, also, how he and Yunru managed to figure out chrono tech and Siegfrieds Foehn theory, if Rashidi is an engineering genius, but not a quantum physician or anything, while Yunru... Oh yeah, Yunru knows everything, from nanomachines, cyborgs and nuclear research, to plasma technologies and particle collision, and she is only 18. Soviet player character is mind-raped, which is, ok, happened before, can be undone again, but he was separated from the player by having his own lines and acting on his own. Allied player character, or rather, characters, not only were separated from the player by acting on their own and having their own lines, but they are dead, both campaign Allied commander and spec ops Allied Commander. Boris is fricking dead (twice), Chitzkoi is probably dead too after the ending (or worse).
I think people doesnt have problem with characters as a silyl character but with story too much focusing on them. All RA story was always centered over (you) saving you country or conquering other and thats it. Literally only time when series went into focusing on anime mary sue was that one yuriko campaign in RA3 uprising and that was the worst campaign in all RA history.

Still clearing the 2nd act for each of the campaigns, finally seeing the first introduction of the Foehn as the soviets. Why did they give them such an out of place design? All of their buildings & units seem far too futuristic compared to anything that the epsilon, reds or blues have to offer. Might be cool gameplay-wise but man they clash visually against both the landscape and the opposing three factions so much

Actually forgot about that. I remember installing a giganto add-on for english translations. From what I remember, most of the animu is the story and the gameplay is pretty much Tiberium Sun. I have no experience with TS though so I want to know: how differently does this play from vanilla Tiberium Sun? Aside from QoL improvement from using a newer engine (I think). Did the original TS also have subfactions?
I can't say I found MO too much fun to play but I appreciate the effort that has gone into it. Some of the maps look real neat.
