exactly. Fighting beasts and beastmen in yharnam was so kino. Didn't enjoy the nightmare realm stuff and alien plot in the lategame.

It's not baiting out the same attack. You can easily dodge basically every attack from this boss by dodging to the left (except for the exploding mist attack). It makes the boss trivially easy once you know that.

In case you didn't realise - it doesn't matter if a From game is objectively garbage anymore. It just needs to "filter" people to keep the fans happy.
Killed me more than every other boss in Bloodborne combined on my first playthrough, and the only boss that killed me more than once.
I thought I was the only one that had trouble with this boss. Hardest boss in the game hands down.

It's a buzzword gamers rely on when they don't have valid criticism and can't come to terms with the fact that there might be a disconnect between their ability or their tastes and the game they're playing. It's never "I didn't like it, not for me" it's always "It's OBJECTIVELY poorly designed"; engaging with media isn't a two-way street for them, it's all one way -- everything HAS to pander to my tastes and if it doesn't it's BAD design.
Anime and manga fans have the same issue, if a piece of media isn't a fit for them it's "poorly written".
