I have all of them but Sanji (whos the worst anyway) and every TM half of them come in clutch
Ended up with 4.8M after 20 runs. A bit of a bummer that I was probably a single run away from the second red ticket. Of course the one that I had was nothing new, but it was actually only the second Carrot I pulled since they introduced LLB, so I count it as a good roll.
Hiyori and Pudding are useful, Kuma's support is great, Whitey Bay's very useful too. Diamond Jozu is recent, I don't have him but he's probably good. I haven't used anything else

Franosuke is great, probably the top unit. Man, so many units to farm as a returning player, I remember when I started playing and couldn't clear raid Akainu for 2-3 months maybe more, let alone farm reliably. Frequently? None of them. But I did *just* use Arena Franosuke's support during the TM, and some time before that, Doffy/Trebol for some kinda farming, don't even remember which one. I also may have used PSY Komurasaki recently, but I'm not sure.
In the olden days, Neptune was used a lot, and I assume he's still one of the go-tos for many old-school crewsmiths.
I'd say focus on the ones that have prominent, unique support abilities, since that's what you'll be using them for more often than not, and take your time farming the rest - after all, nobody knows what the future might bring. And it's not like you need stamina for anything else outside of GV and a blitz once every three months or so.

I'm pretty happy with what I've gotten so far considering I've played less than a month but there are still plenty of legends I really want. With your guys suggestions I now have things to farm with my stamina and I'm especially interested in the supports.

You could try your luck now and it'd be worth it, but if I waited this long I'd wait until the next banner is online and pull in both of them. I'm not sure if every part of the first sugo will be online though, so if you want to go for Gear 5 you might have to do part 1.
So Big Mom is like demon Robin where you can stack conditional attack boost or you can stack normal attack boosts? Sad that she boosts dex in pvp, could have been powerhouse they need a lot of help to become interesting. Still, it’s a new viable option for gp lead.
For Law/Kid, I don’t understand how it will work. Double unit with ex/super shit. How do you swap and how do you use the ex. They look fricking amazing for pvp/gp.

TM yamato already covers 6 turns of resilience so that works up to level 30. legend garp with support tsuru can take care of special bind on stage 2 and set you up with eot damage for stage 3. i dunno why you'd wanna go hard on a non-superboss kizuna though.
Franky/Chopper counters the qck version pretty well, you won't need a despair or burn reducer giving you space for a captain swap easy
im using them on my G5 team for int to get rid of poison orbs and kill myself. i never realized until now that you get to keep your boosts upon revive.
You can get the box 6 skull without even using a potion though, box 7 is the grind zone. If you're that worried about missing it then just skip the first three boxes that are full of chaff anyway.

I've had to rely on multiple tries with a Friend Gear 5 just to muddle through. How do people get through Stage 2? That fricking status effect that gives you Atk Down unless your slot multiplier is at a certain kevel just fricks me. Is there any way to get around that?

but you can also stall out the debuff, it's for two turns and you get special reversed after 3 turns I'm pretty sure. So if you don't have a chain booster or chain boundary etc you can bring someone that gets rid of threshold instead

That's what I try because I have units to get rid of the special reverse and damage reduction, but it has such a ridiculous amount of health and even after the debuffs are gone I do virtually no health. The only way I can get past it is reviving with a G5 Luffy friend captain.

Is there a double Robin/Koala team against PKA Ray? I'm sure there were tons of them when the banner first dropped, but now that I've pulled them from the Super sugo I can't find any.
Do the mechanics of the previous boss change? I'm using the same team for both Rayleigh and Big Mom this time, but it's ineffective if you reach lvl 60 for Rayleigh. It's just the Law/Kid batch team + Yamato and PKA O-Tama with no supports.

I had to stall on Roger last month because the team I relied on relied on the CD reduction from the anni ship, but other than that, the only difference in performance should come from the fact you won't have those Straw Hat Friend points racked up at the start. But then again, you shouldn't be able to hit the point where it matters for quite few days at least.

How long the cope lasts depends on how willing a person is to waste their money/gems on pvp in the first place. If the answer is "none", you're lucky to bait the same person even twice. But I imagine someone willing to smack their head against the wall will take several tries until they learn.

For people that don’t have them, next medal shop is really nice. Get that Big Mom asap, she is crazy for psy kizuna bosses. Also get the tm rr Luffy and Hyo for their supports, and the lrr you are missing

They also added these limited Kuzan and Sakazuki who were very good back in the day, I even remember them being useful in some of the Garp challenges, and I think it's the first time that anniversary(?) Perospero rr arrives. I got him on release for the guaranteed 2nd or 3rd multi, his support is sick.
I think, if you can only get one, get Hyogoro for maximum value. But if you've pulled a lot lately and have medals to spare, get as many of the rest as you can. Luffy is good if you have any of the Kid legends.
Big Mom is very good especially if you have like Kaido vs Yamato but 600 medals are too many. Depends on the box and how many medals you have, she's very good, I think easily the 2nd best Big Mom in the game but I think it's better to get like 2-3 useful units instead of 1 legend
This. That Big Mom sucks. The way this shit game turned out, the only characters worth getting in the medal shop are old limited 100 medal units with supports like TM characters, etc. Even old "top-tier" LRRs are fundamentally useless nowadays because of the content drought.

You probably can clear at least 2-3/5 difficulty on the earlier GV maybe like until Buggy and Luffy? Generally for GV I went on youtube, the best teambuilder for GV is Chauzu but anyone will do as you'll watch the playthrough and see what debuffs etc you need to prepare for

I remember fighting an exact same quick team, even the order. Looked at their characters and they were weaker than me stat wise, yet i lost the fight because my characters would chill down with their specials to use for 6 seconds or more.
Yesterday i lost a match because my characters kept missing the finishing blow to some enemies. I repeated the match, same happened but this time my characters did their job.

It’s 20 passive DEF and hits like 60 ATK with the bonus of Law getting your specials out early.
I used the STR team first more because it’s usually a free win against DEX (unless they have the new BM). Then I just save the G5 burst for the next fight for an easy clear.

but its really flexible, I'm overkilling the boss in 4 taps so bepo is optional if you would rather run a regular despair reducer

you can also just use Luffy special on stage 4 and not bother with a special bind reducer and run other damage boosters on big meme
Start on Kid
stage 1-2 swap Law/kid until ready for super swap
stage 3 remove despair, use Momo and kill, you can take an attack if you need to you will only be hit by burn, on my team I use Zoro here as well
stage 4 activate Luffy's EX and clear, you can use Luffy special here if you don't want to bother with the special bind next battle
stage 5 use Law/kid super swap and launch all remaining specials
Looks like the last super sugo will be released on kizuna. These are the tm rr's and the f2p unit are the calamities. My guess is we'll get a STR super sugo Kaido, and a v2 Orochi as regular legend.

That Gear 5 surely help me doing the content in PKA. I literally don’t know what I should farm for the f2p units or oh man those some units literally are obsolete
Generally the arena units are the best but also harder to clear when you're new, because of the debuffs etc. From clash, colosseum etc I'll have to go through the recollection archive, but some units like raid Zoro can still be a great help.

You just started so you are in east blue. Just slap your highest boosters in a team and auto the fights. Fights give you points and points get you rewards. If you don’t like the farm, try to at least go until you can fully lb the tm unit
Generally there are 3 "seas", 3 levels of difficulty. Since you haven't played it before you'll play in the east blue difficulty. Generally it's a map with rewards and minibosses you fight. You also fight the remaining minibosses and the boss on the end of the map. You grind with high-boosted teams (and in your case, you can make just one team for all so put your highest boosters there, higher levels of difficulty you must not reuse units for different bosses) and repeat the map. It's a grind but it won't be too hard so you should at least max the new f2p unit

No Kaido is a super sugofest, he just debuts here. I think Kanjuro is a regular legend, not a kizuna legend, like Momonosuke or Queen. Orochi, the Oniwabashu guy and DEX Momo are probably kizuna rare recruits

Yeah, I guess I was being melodramatic. I'll blame it on tiredness, and the fact that the only two other INT paralysis reducers in the boosted pool, PKA Sanji and TM Bege, also boost orbs as well. But I guess I can make do with three INT units.
Funny thing is, I'm not sure why, but the TM Planner doesn't even register PSYHat Nami, she doesn't light up when filtered by Paralysis, and clicking on her doesn't open her window. Same with Chopper.
Why does G5+ need 3 different characters to use his EX? I really want to use regular G5 with a friend captain G5+ but getting 3 specific characters which need to be str/dex/qck/int will be extremely difficult. I wish they had lowed it to 2 instead of 3. Also his EX should have been 1.5x damage debuff to enemies that goes through immunities.
I mean, why would they? It's a 3-part celebration banner, it's always been like that. Why would Luffy show up in Part 1 AND 3? It's like movie RED, Uta was only on part 1 iirc

Or they should have made his EX better by making it go through immunities though possibly lowering it to 1.5x. Or both G5s should only need 2 instead of 3 characters to activate their EXs.
I was thinking what of G5+ not having the color requirement at all but that would have been too ridiculous. Honestly a simple solution that they should have gone with to make the 2 G5s easier to use together was to make G5+ int instead of psy. Pretty weird too that they said a month ahead of time that G5s plus form will be staying the same type and classes.

there used to be a notice in game how to do it, might be still there if you scroll down
so just in case anyone is curious, the duel type superboss is just half the bar one type and the other half the other, and more importantly it carries over so once half the bar is gone it stays gone and the next one won't be half and half again
if you don't want to fuss with G5+ all type gimmick you can just run a mono team on each half
Just have a plan for the Sblock if you choose to completely ignore G5+

Turns out I'm too moronic to do it on my own. I figure I could copy this team:
Leave the Lead Performers and Friend Kaido as Captains and put the two RRs in the crew, but who should I use to fill the other two spots?
I didn't bother with a 1 for all team but my teams look like this:
vs DEX
Kaido, tm Lead Performers (with some Kaido support for their special, I use v2 Kaido for the stats)
STR Jozu for stage 2, STAMPEDE Buggy for atk down on stage 3
Orochi for stage 2, f2p turtle-farm Ulti for the threshold on stage 3
You should do fine with the ninja and filler units
For vs QCK I use ST Nami with friend Law/Kid (use Kid to swap into Law and use their special on stage 2.)
I also use Franky https://optc-db.github.io/characters/#/view/3663 for special cd and chain, Nami also handles everything so just bring atk boosts etc. There's no type advantage here so it's fine, you probably can modify your vs DEX team and be gucci because of that.
For vs INT I use my Gear 5+ with friend Gear 5* and bring someone for atk down like Robin/Jinbe on stage 3. Friend 5* Luffy ex special and regular special to take out stage 2, and the rest on stage 3.
Okay, I think I actually figured it out. I really only need someone to take down Paralysis on the Law and Friends stage, as well as their barriers, or INT Yamato's barrier, that's also boosted. So I'm guessing 6+ Sanji/Judge (one of the optc youtubers calls them "Jumanji" and I think it's chuckleworthy enough to mention it. Maybe it was even Stamp, the guy I linked before) and Tobbi Roppo Sitting Around Batch X Drake. Which just leaves the problem of INT Stage, which needs Mr. Fivehead special on both the second and third stages. Unless you can beat Luffy without getting rid of his rainbow shield.

I think Invasions are dead, you can buy the dupes of the units in the PKA shop, and they'd only do that if there was no other way of getting them. So now only the Invasions where you farm the unit specific Skulls an LB mats remain, so Kaido and probably CP9

We get only 2 characters per month discounted and they are going in order of the first characters with Kizuna skulls. At this rate Roger won't have discounted skulls until about 12 fricking months.
they keep trying to tweak TM when all they need to do is double the multiplyers and point drops and people will stop complaining

from what it seems to me the auto upgrade doesn't work if you have all the potentials unlocked, even if you have the level LB at 0

With a blitz battle or PvP grand party during bigger celebrations, and then random grand voyage quests (that nobody touches because it’s for whales). And you need boosters for all events if you don’t want to do 10x the runs.
It’s why participation for F2P players and retention of new players is at an all time low.

Funny how Stampede of all things was peak OPTC to me, the last time they really tried to celebrate something. G5 and Film Red were abysmal in comparison, sugos really are the only "content" we get anymore.
I keep the same teams usually. Just abandoned my int/driven team because of previous seasons, where they boost class/colors that didn't need any boost like psy or fs. This season might be okayish because there's no boost to meta shit

it really is. the damage threshold to activate it is way too low. just stack CT up on your meta team of choice, watch your specials launch, then either wipe the opposing team or use it during the next round to soften the next team you're facing. Bamco will probably nerf PSY/free spirit for the next couple of GPs until they release another broken super sugo unit.

There's one more day, hopefully you'll have more luck.
I think the trick to winning against a G5 Leader is to kill the first team fast, before the burst has a chance to charge, and then either do the same with the second team, or sacrifice your own second team and hope to win against the third one. Of course, that would require some measure of luck. But I managed to do that once myself.
Or maybe the secret lies in cranking up the Miss buff, since the attacks that miss don't count for the charge. Of course, that's a double-edged sword if you're using a Leader that charges his burst through damage taken, like Roger or Woger.
Of course, the BEST solution would be for everyone to have an AI-generated crew as one of the options and swap into that one for the 23.5 hours a day when they're not clearing GP, because there's no ranking, one person winning doesn't mean another loses something and it doesn't have to be a zero-sum game. But that in turn would require everybody agreeing to not frick everyone else over just for the sexual thrill.
I did it, 9 wins, i am free of this shit. Somehow i beat a team with Rogers and got one with L/Y as leader, no fricking gear 5s for a change But this last guy taught me something, the new Zoro with Momoshield and Kin/Den means danger.
Thank god for dex BM burst, that shit saved me.
But it really sucks not having a Gear 5, a Momo, any Yamato(only have L/Y), Roger, WB/Roger, Sanji, Zoro, or heck, the int Uta. This shit is getting worse and worse.

As expected of Bandai, they fricked up big time. The current events like TM/Kizuna/GP/PR actually are pure cancer for new players. Once they learn about booster meta, I doubt they will stay when there are unfun shitty gimmicks running rampant required you to have 2 year+ box

I think so, there should be some tutorials on youtube. And yes you should reroll, lots of legends can clear almost everything and I think the most important in this game is having a diverse box. But you should reroll to get g5, even two if you can for the 6 and 6+ when the skulls will become available again

if you have never seen a seemingly good unit being used, theres probably a good reason why its not
the mode is mostly solved, and G5 is a harsh gatekeeper to experimentation
So this is what I came up with for PKA with none of the new units.
Yeah I know "just use your G5 and Momo" isn't really that impressive but what can you do.
Friend ShanksCrew, superswap isn't needed anywhere in particular.
Stall stages 1 and 2.
Pass one turn on stage 3, then use Robin/Koala and clear.
Stage 4, Captain swap doesn't matter but you lose super type if its Robin/Koala so at high levels you'll want to reset for Momo or Yamato.
Make sure someone on bottom 2 rows enters next stage without a wano orb.
If Robin/Koala use Momo and Yamato and clear, otherwise pass one turn then use Momo and Yamato and supertype and clear.
Stage 5, swap and use Shankscrew special and pass turn, then use Ussop and Luffy and clear.
You can get to level 120 without any buffs but after that you need buffs or hp cuts.
Roger/Whitebeard is better then Ussop but you will have to clear boss blinded and I'm too much of a pussy to do that, if you choose them move Flampe support to Luffy.
You can also clear stage 3 immediately if you want to keep Momo's sailor buffs but again you have to clear while blinded if you do.
Oh right, Robin/Koala can be replaced by any barrier remover that clears 2 or more really, I just chose them for the extra healing while stall, but it literally doesn't matter.
Also swapping on final stage does dickall so ignore that.

Invasion my Tesoro is LBmax after pulling him twice a month for 2 years, so I don't need to run him as captain since he hardlocks the top and bottom but I'm stuck with the 1.1 orbs and only have 2x atk and 1.5 affinity.
I checked what the invasion does on stage 2 after a turn and they put up 5 def, inflict blind and boost their attack so I might have to change it at higher levels

Yeah Franosuke's support is very good. Let me open my game and check out the rest, but generally just try and clear everything once for the rewards. Alright, let me see the more useful ones I can think of.
Clash: Zoro, Bonney, Magelan/Hanyabal and Coby/Helmeppo (used them on some kizunas, because of the dual type and the buffs usually for stage 2)
Coluseum: Opera (amazing support), Morley, Kikunojo, Magellan can do a lot of useful things but haven't used him in a while, and considering the latest batches maybe invest in Hiyori? She has nice utility and can work with many units like Momo etc
Event: just used Zorojuro for this tm, also by unlocking O-Robi and Bonekichi you get all the straw hat pairs to drop and clear the chopperman missions, which means you get more gems than the rest. A clear gem plus 1 gem for each unit.
Arena: honestly all these are nice except from like Sanjuan Wolf, Kamazo, Queen and Hawkins? I don't remember what Hawkins does. Not really sure about Crocodile either. Franosuke is great, probably the top unit. Man, so many units to farm as a returning player, I remember when I started playing and couldn't clear raid Akainu for 2-3 months maybe more, let alone farm reliably. That was before kung fu Luffy and Luffy/Ace arrived, probably 4-5 months earlier? Can't imagine returning now and trying to catch-up, but hey you gotta start with something might as well get to work. I think these are the more useful ones, however there might be others that are more suitable for a beginner's account? Hard to judge though because if you pulled a lot of good stuff along with like Gear 5, you can cover a lot of holes already.

Frequently? None of them. But I did *just* use Arena Franosuke's support during the TM, and some time before that, Doffy/Trebol for some kinda farming, don't even remember which one. I also may have used PSY Komurasaki recently, but I'm not sure.
In the olden days, Neptune was used a lot, and I assume he's still one of the go-tos for many old-school crewsmiths.
I'd say focus on the ones that have prominent, unique support abilities, since that's what you'll be using them for more often than not, and take your time farming the rest - after all, nobody knows what the future might bring. And it's not like you need stamina for anything else outside of GV and a blitz once every three months or so.

We're getting another super sugo soon with a new Big Mom and dual Law/Kid. You could try your luck now and it'd be worth it, but if I waited this long I'd wait until the next banner is online and pull in both of them. I'm not sure if every part of the first sugo will be online though, so if you want to go for Gear 5 you might have to do part 1.
So Big Mom is like demon Robin where you can stack conditional attack boost or you can stack normal attack boosts? Sad that she boosts dex in pvp, could have been powerhouse they need a lot of help to become interesting. Still, it’s a new viable option for gp lead.

TM yamato already covers 6 turns of resilience so that works up to level 30. legend garp with support tsuru can take care of special bind on stage 2 and set you up with eot damage for stage 3. i dunno why you'd wanna go hard on a non-superboss kizuna though.
im using them on my G5 team for int to get rid of poison orbs and kill myself. i never realized until now that you get to keep your boosts upon revive.

You can get the box 6 skull without even using a potion though, box 7 is the grind zone. If you're that worried about missing it then just skip the first three boxes that are full of chaff anyway.

Ugh I can get around the Dex and Int versions of the Level 10 Kizuna Clash battles fine, but my lack of good Dex units just fricks me on the Qck stage. I've had to rely on multiple tries with a Friend Gear 5 just to muddle through. How do people get through Stage 2? That fricking status effect that gives you Atk Down unless your slot multiplier is at a certain kevel just fricks me. Is there any way to get around that?

but you can also stall out the debuff, it's for two turns and you get special reversed after 3 turns I'm pretty sure. So if you don't have a chain booster or chain boundary etc you can bring someone that gets rid of threshold instead

That's what I try because I have units to get rid of the special reverse and damage reduction, but it has such a ridiculous amount of health and even after the debuffs are gone I do virtually no health. The only way I can get past it is reviving with a G5 Luffy friend captain.

Do the mechanics of the previous boss change? I'm using the same team for both Rayleigh and Big Mom this time, but it's ineffective if you reach lvl 60 for Rayleigh. It's just the Law/Kid batch team + Yamato and PKA O-Tama with no supports.

I had to stall on Roger last month because the team I relied on relied on the CD reduction from the anni ship, but other than that, the only difference in performance should come from the fact you won't have those Straw Hat Friend points racked up at the start. But then again, you shouldn't be able to hit the point where it matters for quite few days at least.

How long the cope lasts depends on how willing a person is to waste their money/gems on pvp in the first place. If the answer is "none", you're lucky to bait the same person even twice. But I imagine someone willing to smack their head against the wall will take several tries until they learn.
With that said, I'm not even sure if I've seen a 3-unit team on my opponent list.

Rumble already sucks and is dominated by people with parties way stronger than I even knew you could get, and now you need a specific set amount of wins AND they start to limit how many times you can refresh? Awesome. LOVE seeing 200k+ power teams against my 120k. Feels extremely balanced, it makes me want to stop playing again
if the devs would just stop putting limited time skulls in the mode it would be easy to just ignore completely like regular rumble

For people that don’t have them, next medal shop is really nice. Get that Big Mom asap, she is crazy for psy kizuna bosses. Also get the tm rr Luffy and Hyo for their supports, and the lrr you are missing

They also added these limited Kuzan and Sakazuki who were very good back in the day, I even remember them being useful in some of the Garp challenges, and I think it's the first time that anniversary(?) Perospero rr arrives. I got him on release for the guaranteed 2nd or 3rd multi, his support is sick.
I think, if you can only get one, get Hyogoro for maximum value. But if you've pulled a lot lately and have medals to spare, get as many of the rest as you can. Luffy is good if you have any of the Kid legends.
Big Mom is very good especially if you have like Kaido vs Yamato but 600 medals are too many. Depends on the box and how many medals you have, she's very good, I think easily the 2nd best Big Mom in the game but I think it's better to get like 2-3 useful units instead of 1 legend

They've dropped a bunch of gems on us recently, so I decided to go for three more multis on Part 3, from five to eight. Got new Bepo, so at least now I've got *something* from the new batch, but also finally pulled the exp boost Marco, literally the oldest regular legend I was still missing. So that's a bit of a win, I guess.
The live action thing is actually pretty fun (and no, I'm not giving Netflix any money)

You probably can clear at least 2-3/5 difficulty on the earlier GV maybe like until Buggy and Luffy? Generally for GV I went on youtube, the best teambuilder for GV is Chauzu but anyone will do as you'll watch the playthrough and see what debuffs etc you need to prepare for
95% of the player base hasn’t played that mode in a year so there will always be a lack of teams. It’s also kinda designed that way.

I remember fighting an exact same quick team, even the order. Looked at their characters and they were weaker than me stat wise, yet i lost the fight because my characters would chill down with their specials to use for 6 seconds or more.
Yesterday i lost a match because my characters kept missing the finishing blow to some enemies. I repeated the match, same happened but this time my characters did their job.

I used the STR team first more because it’s usually a free win against DEX (unless they have the new BM). Then I just save the G5 burst for the next fight for an easy clear.

I'm running friend Law/kid, G5, Momo, ray/gab, f2p psy Zoro and new Bepo with supports to reduce 5 turns despair on stage 3
but its really flexible, I'm overkilling the boss in 4 taps so bepo is optional if you would rather run a regular despair reducer
Any Zoro fits the critria for both captains EX
you can also just use Luffy special on stage 4 and not bother with a special bind reducer and run other damage boosters on big meme
Start on Kid
stage 1-2 swap Law/kid until ready for super swap
stage 3 remove despair, use Momo and kill, you can take an attack if you need to you will only be hit by burn, on my team I use Zoro here as well
stage 4 activate Luffy's EX and clear, you can use Luffy special here if you don't want to bother with the special bind next battle
stage 5 use Law/kid super swap and launch all remaining specials
forgot to mention this is with no map effects at all

Generally the arena units are the best but also harder to clear when you're new, because of the debuffs etc. From clash, colosseum etc I'll have to go through the recollection archive, but some units like raid Zoro can still be a great help.
Don't give new players bad advice, the game has fundamentally changed to the point that no old units are worth farming. It's like telling someone in 2023 that TM Big Mom is worth getting, lmao. Pull the new units or play a new game.

After you play for a while you will eventually just enter a state of never running out of forbidden tomes but since most events now use alternate stamina you shouldn't have any pressing needs for your regular stamina if you want to farm dupes

You just started so you are in east blue. Just slap your highest boosters in a team and auto the fights. Fights give you points and points get you rewards. If you don’t like the farm, try to at least go until you can fully lb the tm unit

Generally there are 3 "seas", 3 levels of difficulty. Since you haven't played it before you'll play in the east blue difficulty. Generally it's a map with rewards and minibosses you fight. You also fight the remaining minibosses and the boss on the end of the map. You grind with high-boosted teams (and in your case, you can make just one team for all so put your highest boosters there, higher levels of difficulty you must not reuse units for different bosses) and repeat the map. It's a grind but it won't be too hard so you should at least max the new f2p unit

No Kaido is a super sugofest, he just debuts here. I think Kanjuro is a regular legend, not a kizuna legend, like Momonosuke or Queen. Orochi, the Oniwabashu guy and DEX Momo are probably kizuna rare recruits

Yeah, I guess I was being melodramatic. I'll blame it on tiredness, and the fact that the only two other INT paralysis reducers in the boosted pool, PKA Sanji and TM Bege, also boost orbs as well. But I guess I can make do with three INT units.
Funny thing is, I'm not sure why, but the TM Planner doesn't even register PSYHat Nami, she doesn't light up when filtered by Paralysis, and clicking on her doesn't open her window. Same with Chopper.
Why does G5+ need 3 different characters to use his EX? I really want to use regular G5 with a friend captain G5+ but getting 3 specific characters which need to be str/dex/qck/int will be extremely difficult. I wish they had lowed it to 2 instead of 3. Also his EX should have been 1.5x damage debuff to enemies that goes through immunities.

I was thinking what of G5+ not having the color requirement at all but that would have been too ridiculous. Honestly a simple solution that they should have gone with to make the 2 G5s easier to use together was to make G5+ int instead of psy. Pretty weird too that they said a month ahead of time that G5s plus form will be staying the same type and classes.

so just in case anyone is curious, the duel type superboss is just half the bar one type and the other half the other, and more importantly it carries over so once half the bar is gone it stays gone and the next one won't be half and half again
if you don't want to fuss with G5+ all type gimmick you can just run a mono team on each half

I really doubt Str teams are going to make a big impact on pvp, it was already arguably the worst type and I don't think Kaido is the big push that will bring it into the spotlight

Leave the Lead Performers and Friend Kaido as Captains and put the two RRs in the crew, but who should I use to fill the other two spots?
I didn't bother with a 1 for all team but my teams look like this:
vs DEX
Kaido, tm Lead Performers (with some Kaido support for their special, I use v2 Kaido for the stats)
STR Jozu for stage 2, STAMPEDE Buggy for atk down on stage 3
Orochi for stage 2, f2p turtle-farm Ulti for the threshold on stage 3
You should do fine with the ninja and filler units
For vs QCK I use ST Nami with friend Law/Kid (use Kid to swap into Law and use their special on stage 2.)
I also use Franky https://optc-db.github.io/characters/#/view/3663 for special cd and chain, Nami also handles everything so just bring atk boosts etc. There's no type advantage here so it's fine, you probably can modify your vs DEX team and be gucci because of that.
For vs INT I use my Gear 5+ with friend Gear 5* and bring someone for atk down like Robin/Jinbe on stage 3. Friend 5* Luffy ex special and regular special to take out stage 2, and the rest on stage 3.
Okay, I think I actually figured it out. I really only need someone to take down Paralysis on the Law and Friends stage, as well as their barriers, or INT Yamato's barrier, that's also boosted. So I'm guessing 6+ Sanji/Judge (one of the optc youtubers calls them "Jumanji" and I think it's chuckleworthy enough to mention it. Maybe it was even Stamp, the guy I linked before) and Tobbi Roppo Sitting Around Batch X Drake. Which just leaves the problem of INT Stage, which needs Mr. Fivehead special on both the second and third stages. Unless you can beat Luffy without getting rid of his rainbow shield.

That would be a better solution. I was going to ask if every hit he does during his rush cuts the barrier down because of 30+ INT Yamato's increased turns, but I guess I forgot.

Is there any way to play Invasion raids anymore? I played a long while back and just jumped on to do pulls recently, I've been enjoying running old content with new stuff. The only invasion I've been able to find is Kaido on his own raid

I think Invasions are dead, you can buy the dupes of the units in the PKA shop, and they'd only do that if there was no other way of getting them. So now only the Invasions where you farm the unit specific Skulls an LB mats remain, so Kaido and probably CP9
That really sucks because spending 10k Ray points for a skull is a lot for a newer player.
Don't worry, you can also buy skulls with Kizuna Insignia, which is even worse!

unless I did something wrong I think you don't realize that Urouge is mandatory to block the stat boost from Sanji and Yamato blowing away the entire crew for 5 turns

it really is. the damage threshold to activate it is way too low. just stack CT up on your meta team of choice, watch your specials launch, then either wipe the opposing team or use it during the next round to soften the next team you're facing. Bamco will probably nerf PSY/free spirit for the next couple of GPs until they release another broken super sugo unit.

I think the trick to winning against a G5 Leader is to kill the first team fast, before the burst has a chance to charge, and then either do the same with the second team, or sacrifice your own second team and hope to win against the third one. Of course, that would require some measure of luck. But I managed to do that once myself.
Or maybe the secret lies in cranking up the Miss buff, since the attacks that miss don't count for the charge. Of course, that's a double-edged sword if you're using a Leader that charges his burst through damage taken, like Roger or Woger.
Of course, the BEST solution would be for everyone to have an AI-generated crew as one of the options and swap into that one for the 23.5 hours a day when they're not clearing GP, because there's no ranking, one person winning doesn't mean another loses something and it doesn't have to be a zero-sum game. But that in turn would require everybody agreeing to not frick everyone else over just for the sexual thrill.
I did it, 9 wins, i am free of this shit. Somehow i beat a team with Rogers and got one with L/Y as leader, no fricking gear 5s for a change But this last guy taught me something, the new Zoro with Momoshield and Kin/Den means danger.
Thank god for dex BM burst, that shit saved me.
But it really sucks not having a Gear 5, a Momo, any Yamato(only have L/Y), Roger, WB/Roger, Sanji, Zoro, or heck, the int Uta. This shit is getting worse and worse.

I did 10 multis on part 1 and got nothing lol. I did the same with Sanji on part2 or wtv the best rate for him and nothing. There was some banner with Roger this year did 10 multis too and nothing.
So yeah, i missed a lot of the GREAT shit, but still got things like qck Law, Shanks Red movie and got great pulls on BM and Law/Kid banner since i got both and dupes for BM

I think so, there should be some tutorials on youtube. And yes you should reroll, lots of legends can clear almost everything and I think the most important in this game is having a diverse box. But you should reroll to get g5, even two if you can for the 6 and 6+ when the skulls will become available again

if you have never seen a seemingly good unit being used, theres probably a good reason why its not
the mode is mostly solved, and G5 is a harsh gatekeeper to experimentation
So this is what I came up with for PKA with none of the new units.
Yeah I know "just use your G5 and Momo" isn't really that impressive but what can you do.
Friend ShanksCrew, superswap isn't needed anywhere in particular.
Stall stages 1 and 2.
Pass one turn on stage 3, then use Robin/Koala and clear.
Stage 4, Captain swap doesn't matter but you lose super type if its Robin/Koala so at high levels you'll want to reset for Momo or Yamato.
Make sure someone on bottom 2 rows enters next stage without a wano orb.
If Robin/Koala use Momo and Yamato and clear, otherwise pass one turn then use Momo and Yamato and supertype and clear.
Stage 5, swap and use Shankscrew special and pass turn, then use Ussop and Luffy and clear.
You can get to level 120 without any buffs but after that you need buffs or hp cuts.
Roger/Whitebeard is better then Ussop but you will have to clear boss blinded and I'm too much of a pussy to do that, if you choose them move Flampe support to Luffy.
You can also clear stage 3 immediately if you want to keep Momo's sailor buffs but again you have to clear while blinded if you do.
Oh right, Robin/Koala can be replaced by any barrier remover that clears 2 or more really, I just chose them for the extra healing while stall, but it literally doesn't matter.
Also swapping on final stage does dickall so ignore that.

I checked what the invasion does on stage 2 after a turn and they put up 5 def, inflict blind and boost their attack so I might have to change it at higher levels
