Can't believe that I used to feel overwhelmed by the amount of content when I was playing the game a few years back.
Here's my team for all three battles, copied it from youtube (stump d gacha) and modified some parts since I was missing a few units, supports don't really matter that much just using them for boosts or frickups.
Robin and Kinemon/Denjiro are useful for removing those pesky defense ups, Shanks for the resilience, and Chopper (also Robin) for the despair.
I use Law as captain since the Def->0 ability of his is useful while Snakeman Luffy (new one) is FC cause his super type is great on that stage where specials get reduced.
While TM was never good. I remember when it originally was announced and the game mode premiered. Hell, I used TM Ace and TM Mihawk a lot in team building. The point gain wasn't fricked either.
Anons here on /optc/, homosexuals on r/optc, and Youtubers are making comments about how the game is dying due to the lack of overall new nonrepetitive content along with the constant flood of lackluster legends banners. Especially with how more and more gem accumulation is exclusive to whatever new legend is out farming event.
If Bandai did any of the following here before the end of the year. I would change my opinion over the game dying. Yet, let's be real. OPTC is nearly 9 years old. Why change what the whales support?
Changes: >new training forests with new ships (Beast Pirates, East Blue memories, Grand Line Paradise memories, etc.) >new story islands that have some difficulty with clearing them. >pace out the new legend banners to where they are not back to back. Not every Wano character requires a legend. >expand extra island to include LLB farming (not for super rare posters) beyond locking them in GV. >expand extra island to include older content such as CC islands with difficulty options. >expand the colo archive to include old fortnights that have been forgotten.
The game may be nearly 9 years old, but it's still based on One Piece, and the manga will probably run for another decade before finally ending, and that's not even including the anime and movies they're planning along the way.
Pumping whales may be the profitable short-term goal but when the game still has a lot of years ahead of it why not at least improve things to draw in more people?
It's not like they can make a new gacha and expect it be a big hit, the market's too saturated these days, catching the eye of new players is going to be hard.
Plus if they don't give F2Ps enjoyable content and great rewards every now and then they'll just leave, and with no F2Ps to lord over whales are just going to hop on to different games.
It's why I hope that things will improve, but knowing jap autism shit will just stay the same until they finally shutter the game.

Vegapunk is probably similar to Mr. House. Where his elderly body is in stasis and his robots are out running tasks.
The raws show that the shark is labeled as PUNK 01, the robot is PUNK 03, and not-Uta is PUNK 02.
Vega could have been an old women. Its possible that when Bonney was captured by the Marines, Vega heard about her powers and made a deal to let Bonney free for de-aging her. I don't think we were ever given an proper explanation as to how she managed to escape Akainu. Also possible that this chick is just self-proclaiming herself to be Vega when in reality, she's like an assistant to the real one.

And? We have the same here with Luffy, it’s normal they are the mcs. Optc is good but it became too complex for a mobile game. At least dokkan is just bubble popping with big numbers.

It's the free Kizuna Shanks 5* you get from the rolls, (though the super evolved version is only slightly better for lvl 30+ since that one can remove 6 turns of paralysis, resilience, and threshold damage reduction)
I don't know much about replacing the other units, but Law has been absolutely essential in this team set-up, his condition of bypassing defense while having increased damage to bypassed defense is the cornerstone for all of my runs.
I got one shanks skull from box 6 and another from box 7 and two will be getting from kizuna rewards,now I only got to go through rest of the box 7 to get the last one,but with my shit luck it'll probably be the last thing in the box

Best you can do is ask here (or on discord or reddit or anywhere else where otpc players congregate) to put the captain up and hope that someone from your list saw it and decided to help.

I've been playing on and off since raid Mihawk first released and i've never seen that, does it still give you the choice to restore battle data or are you just screwed out of that stamina/kizuna points
I've seen it before when you close and relaunch the game numerous times.
Oddity here is that I didn't do that. I could restore the battle and continue playing as normal.

Like in Kizuna, you should be able to receive stat boosts for regular battles or other support functionalities (special decrease or something)

Due to the current trend of back-to-back Wano legend banners with no new content outside of item drop farming. I don't see the NYE or GLB anniversary banners changing anything. We'll receive lackluster Wano legends (new King, Queen, Sanji, Zoro, Kaido, Big Mom, Law, Kid, etc.) during those banners. Bandai will push Toon Luffy to the JPN anniversary. You'll have some returning players, similar to the 8th anni, but those numbers will quickly drop off afterward.
Again, I'll be negative but I don't see the game lasting beyond 2024. Anons can rant about how One Piece makes money but how many fans want to invest time into a nearly decade old gacha game? Merchandise, anime, manga volumes, etc. are more important.

What was the last official Wano banner? Back in May or early June with the Toppi Roppi trio? Everything else that has premiered has been celebrating RED or summer in general.
I'll say this now that I've been thinking about it. If Bandai is stupid enough to make movie RED Uta have a 6++ or 7* evolution due to the artwork complaint. The game is dead, since this will tell homosexuals on rapeddit and botwitter that they can dictate the direction of the game moving forward.

I hate to tell you this but I highly highly highly doubt that the Chopperman rookie, advanced, and master missions will reset for the THIRD time.
Dude it takes like 3 hours just to Max LLB one (1) character. No one has the mental power to do 2 or 3 a day. So if you'd do one every single day, you'd still have to go through like 200 or 300 characters in the archive.

I'd love to see your math on that. You need nine dupes to fully LLB a unit. That's three runs on triple stam and you're finished unless you go for the difficulty that doesn't spit out a guaranteed dupe for some reason. It takes like twenty minutes, thirty tops, and I include checking the usual sites for a good team into that timeframe.
Then you wait those 18 hours until stamina recharges back to 360 and do the next one. Unless you use your meat and go straight back to farming.
Character recruitment units are even easier, you can do it with any farming team on auto, it only costs 45 stamina to max one out, and you get nine hime turtles from it as well. Literally five minutes and you can do whatever you want otherwise and only have to make sure to start a new playthrough once the old one is finished.
I think you misunderstood me. With Max LLB I mean actually getting a unit to 150 by farming hime turtles in the recruitment quests.

Don't know bud, I completed the missions years back when Bullet was originally announced. You should be able to use any unit that has Luffy's name in it. However, knowing Bandai coding, any Luffy unit post-Bullet's release will probably not work.

Rather than assign units with a tag of #Luffy or #Sabo. The code is programmed to look at the full character name or assigned unit number. It is why the filter tags for units are all fricked up and we can never have #MarineFord or something similar.

QCK Bullet wasn't used too frequently after his release. I can only recall dropping him into four or fewer team combinations over the past three years. I'm saying this as a nearly 2,700-day player though.
With you being under a year, he'll be a good unit to have due to his SP. >Reduces one enemy's HP by 25%, and if 6 STR, QCK, or PSY characters are on the crew. Boosts the type effects of normal attacks for STR, QCK, and PSY characters by 2x for 1 turn (1.75 otherwise)

Each character class can be applied before every battle for support.
During the battle, you can use a limited number of action characters (Chopper or Franky, to heal and rebuild) or (Luffy to launch a powerful super attack).
Maybe have it similar to Yu-Gi-Oh where there are one or two rows before the ship that must be defeated or have a limited number of uses before being discarded?
Add in a gacha pull system for new support characters. Make your ship upgradable with free and P2W features.

At least these turtle farms can be done with an auto team so you only need a few minutes of manual input for the whole duration. Makes me question if playing the game is worth it though when you just want to go out of your way to NOT play the game.

Here are my teams for the tm. Once again looks like a really shitty tm, where needing 2 Hinas and one of the Smoker/Tashigi for the boss and inva is almost mandatory to farm comfily
What you SHOULD avoid is a heal build QCK team. Onigashima Robin (especially one that's lvl 120+), Legend Halloween Hanwiener and Ivankov - it's RNG reliant, but if you don't kill at least one right away, you won't be able to keep up with them healing.
The teams you have to look out for are >INT (ESPECIALLY if they have moria and perona, they will literally not die ever) >Slasher/Free Spirit (they deal way too much fricking damage it's unreal, chances are they will one shot you in the first 30 seconds >DEX, waaaaay too much health and revive, QCK teams can't even hit them
STR and QCK are fair game, challenge them with their counter team and you will get free wins. Be on the lookout for powerhouse teams which are also quite good rn and whatever you do, for the love of all that is holy in life, NEVER challenge a v2 Strawhats team. NEVER
i try to avoid v2 Strawhats , its my trap team with oden and yamato/ace not sure if i should add some level 1 to make the bait better

Only running expeditions would net you about 800k if you started a new one the moment the last one ended. (400 TM points per stamina point, which equals 3 minutes, and the TM lasts 101 hours) - not enough to even max out the unit.
Orbs it not an issue. If you play with a Hina fc you will get all the qck orbs you need. On my team I use the summer Marguerite, Vivi, Kuja 5+ and Cav has supps. There are still lots of others that can give you qck orbs. If the orbs don't switch with support, Hina takes care of it with her super type

I think we did some math a few months ago and came to the conclusion that the top spots HAD to play non-stop for the whole time, and it would still require some serious time-saving to be able to fit all the levels they played in the allotted time. Time-saving that would require machine precision.

Well it seems that kizuna bb will have the annoying blow away captain/switch captain with bottom row character mechanic for int and Psy,and demage reduction for str variation
Now that the TM is almost over, I've had an idea: an additional TM reward lottery. After every TM ends, one participant is selected at random to receive a pack of gems equal to his percentile place, inverted. So say you end up at exactly the 20% mark and you're selected, you'd win 80 gems. Rounded up so that in case the literally last person gets selected, he'd still get one gem.
I think it would rejuvenate TM somewhat, or at least make people play it more just to rank a little higher in case they win, so that there's a few more gems going their way.
Whether there should be a cut-off because the top spots are already getting extra rewards, or if there should be a <1 "multiplier" for EB and GL Leagues so that people don't abandon NW for easier prizes is something that could be ironed out.
It hardly would be a bad influence on the gem economy, since between the two versions only six people would be getting some extra gems, and at most barely enough to do two multis each.

Here's my team for all three battles, copied it from youtube (stump d gacha) and modified some parts since I was missing a few units, supports don't really matter that much just using them for boosts or frickups.
Robin and Kinemon/Denjiro are useful for removing those pesky defense ups, Shanks for the resilience, and Chopper (also Robin) for the despair.
I use Law as captain since the Def->0 ability of his is useful while Snakeman Luffy (new one) is FC cause his super type is great on that stage where specials get reduced.

While TM was never good. I remember when it originally was announced and the game mode premiered. Hell, I used TM Ace and TM Mihawk a lot in team building. The point gain wasn't fricked either.
Anons here on /optc/, homosexuals on r/optc, and Youtubers are making comments about how the game is dying due to the lack of overall new nonrepetitive content along with the constant flood of lackluster legends banners. Especially with how more and more gem accumulation is exclusive to whatever new legend is out farming event.
If Bandai did any of the following here before the end of the year. I would change my opinion over the game dying. Yet, let's be real. OPTC is nearly 9 years old. Why change what the whales support?

>new training forests with new ships (Beast Pirates, East Blue memories, Grand Line Paradise memories, etc.)
>new story islands that have some difficulty with clearing them.
>pace out the new legend banners to where they are not back to back. Not every Wano character requires a legend.
>expand extra island to include LLB farming (not for super rare posters) beyond locking them in GV.
>expand extra island to include older content such as CC islands with difficulty options.
>expand the colo archive to include old fortnights that have been forgotten.
The game may be nearly 9 years old, but it's still based on One Piece, and the manga will probably run for another decade before finally ending, and that's not even including the anime and movies they're planning along the way.
Pumping whales may be the profitable short-term goal but when the game still has a lot of years ahead of it why not at least improve things to draw in more people?
It's not like they can make a new gacha and expect it be a big hit, the market's too saturated these days, catching the eye of new players is going to be hard.
Plus if they don't give F2Ps enjoyable content and great rewards every now and then they'll just leave, and with no F2Ps to lord over whales are just going to hop on to different games.
It's why I hope that things will improve, but knowing jap autism shit will just stay the same until they finally shutter the game.

I don't think we were ever given an proper explanation as to how she managed to escape Akainu. Looking at it now I think the supports aren't needed, I forgot that the free Kizuna Shanks can remove paralysis as well, main reason why I added Cora and Barto as supports.
It's the free Kizuna Shanks 5* you get from the rolls, (though the super evolved version is only slightly better for lvl 30+ since that one can remove 6 turns of paralysis, resilience, and threshold damage reduction)
I don't know much about replacing the other units, but Law has been absolutely essential in this team set-up, his condition of bypassing defense while having increased damage to bypassed defense is the cornerstone for all of my runs.

Best you can do is ask here (or on discord or reddit or anywhere else where otpc players congregate) to put the captain up and hope that someone from your list saw it and decided to help.

Due to the current trend of back-to-back Wano legend banners with no new content outside of item drop farming. I don't see the NYE or GLB anniversary banners changing anything. We'll receive lackluster Wano legends (new King, Queen, Sanji, Zoro, Kaido, Big Mom, Law, Kid, etc.) during those banners. Bandai will push Toon Luffy to the JPN anniversary. You'll have some returning players, similar to the 8th anni, but those numbers will quickly drop off afterward.
Again, I'll be negative but I don't see the game lasting beyond 2024. Anons can rant about how One Piece makes money but how many fans want to invest time into a nearly decade old gacha game? Merchandise, anime, manga volumes, etc. are more important.

Dude it takes like 3 hours just to Max LLB one (1) character. No one has the mental power to do 2 or 3 a day. So if you'd do one every single day, you'd still have to go through like 200 or 300 characters in the archive.

I'd love to see your math on that. You need nine dupes to fully LLB a unit. That's three runs on triple stam and you're finished unless you go for the difficulty that doesn't spit out a guaranteed dupe for some reason. It takes like twenty minutes, thirty tops, and I include checking the usual sites for a good team into that timeframe.
Then you wait those 18 hours until stamina recharges back to 360 and do the next one. Unless you use your meat and go straight back to farming.
Character recruitment units are even easier, you can do it with any farming team on auto, it only costs 45 stamina to max one out, and you get nine hime turtles from it as well. Literally five minutes and you can do whatever you want otherwise and only have to make sure to start a new playthrough once the old one is finished.
I think you misunderstood me. With Max LLB I mean actually getting a unit to 150 by farming hime turtles in the recruitment quests.

Don't know bud, I completed the missions years back when Bullet was originally announced. You should be able to use any unit that has Luffy's name in it. However, knowing Bandai coding, any Luffy unit post-Bullet's release will probably not work.

Again, Bandai has spaghetti coding for OPTC. Any Sabo or Luffy unit that is newer than the Bullet missions of three years ago will not work for the clear conditions. Rather than assign units with a tag of #Luffy or #Sabo. The code is programmed to look at the full character name or assigned unit number. It is why the filter tags for units are all fricked up and we can never have #MarineFord or something similar.

Sengoku isn't even good in that event if you don't have the whole batch. Just stall and use a good team to do the hard difficulty once.

Eh, I have a good DEX team where everybody resists QCK, so it's free points for me.
What you SHOULD avoid is a heal build QCK team. Onigashima Robin (especially one that's lvl 120+), Legend Halloween Hanwiener and Ivankov - it's RNG reliant, but if you don't kill at least one right away, you won't be able to keep up with them healing.
The teams you have to look out for are
>INT (ESPECIALLY if they have moria and perona, they will literally not die ever)
>Slasher/Free Spirit (they deal way too much fricking damage it's unreal, chances are they will one shot you in the first 30 seconds
>DEX, waaaaay too much health and revive, QCK teams can't even hit them
STR and QCK are fair game, challenge them with their counter team and you will get free wins. Be on the lookout for powerhouse teams which are also quite good rn and whatever you do, for the love of all that is holy in life, NEVER challenge a v2 Strawhats team. NEVER
i try to avoid v2 Strawhats , its my trap team with oden and yamato/ace not sure if i should add some level 1 to make the bait better
sometimes i lose vs STR too but i guess too much difference in levels or what you said about powerhouses

Only running expeditions would net you about 800k if you started a new one the moment the last one ended. (400 TM points per stamina point, which equals 3 minutes, and the TM lasts 101 hours) - not enough to even max out the unit.

Orbs it not an issue. If you play with a Hina fc you will get all the qck orbs you need. On my team I use the summer Marguerite, Vivi, Kuja 5+ and Cav has supps. There are still lots of others that can give you qck orbs. If the orbs don't switch with support, Hina takes care of it with her super type

I think we did some math a few months ago and came to the conclusion that the top spots HAD to play non-stop for the whole time, and it would still require some serious time-saving to be able to fit all the levels they played in the allotted time. Time-saving that would require machine precision.
Do keep in mind though that I may have no fricking clue what I'm talking about.

Well it seems that kizuna bb will have the annoying blow away captain/switch captain with bottom row character mechanic for int and Psy,and demage reduction for str variation
So far still out of demotion just by auto sailing in NW on JP, might need to do like 2 runs to make it safe.

Now that the TM is almost over, I've had an idea: an additional TM reward lottery. After every TM ends, one participant is selected at random to receive a pack of gems equal to his percentile place, inverted. So say you end up at exactly the 20% mark and you're selected, you'd win 80 gems. Rounded up so that in case the literally last person gets selected, he'd still get one gem.
I think it would rejuvenate TM somewhat, or at least make people play it more just to rank a little higher in case they win, so that there's a few more gems going their way.
Whether there should be a cut-off because the top spots are already getting extra rewards, or if there should be a <1 "multiplier" for EB and GL Leagues so that people don't abandon NW for easier prizes is something that could be ironed out.
It hardly would be a bad influence on the gem economy, since between the two versions only six people would be getting some extra gems, and at most barely enough to do two multis each.

Tandem Luffy, Sulong Doggy, Sulong Kitty, Zorojuro and 6+ Brook for healies, they tank everything QCK teams can dish out and then proceed to dispatch them (as long as nobody on the enemy team is too llb'd)
v1 Oden, Rogbeard, Wano Law, v1 Doffy, v1 Kizaru with Tama on the bench for random assortments. Could probably replace Doffy and Kizaru, but I'm lazy.
