You switched the images bro
The girl on the left is cuter so no.
PLA is average at best and I'm tired of pretending that everyone liked it on it's own merits. It's obvious people called it a "breath of fresh air" only because it was different from the regular Pokemon formula which people have gotten tired of but continue to buy. It has literally the same problems as S/V in:
>level design
>empty open world
>easiness
yet with even more problems on top. People just love it because it was a change and the art style was slightly less ugly on surface level since it was a tiny bit more stylised
It is average, but compared to modern Pokemon games it's fricking great. I am mostly salty about small things like how wild Pokemon behave, or how you could catch and stalk Pokemon. Then the next generation literally ditches all that for no reason.
Gameplay wise.
The battle system can be left out, yes. It was a fun idea but Game Freak can't get a simple fricking thing like turn orders correct so just forget it.
a shame the battle animations look so lame in SV when it looks like they actually put in work on them in PLA
Need more regions set in Asia
Only if it's another Legends game or if it's a new game without it being Japan
I will never accept PLA as the better game with that dogshit battle system
Do you mean graphically or gameplay-wise?
Goddamn, it's incredible how fricking ugly the ScalViol artstyle is. What were they thinking?
Good enough for nearly 10 million people to choose it over Pokemon Legends Arceus which only sold 15 million
I think the aliasing is what makes it especially ugly, but that's the fault of the Switch
>”we want to make money”
PLA flopped.
>flopped
no
>still didn't surpass BDSP and LGPE
Yes.
don't care, still didn't flop
Cared enough to reply, NPC.
They wanted a ghibli studio artstyle instead of generic lame anime artstyle
"We still want the GO audience, so let's make an art style that acts as a bridge between GO and standard Pokemon."
ScatVomit doesn't look like Pokemon, play like Pokemon, or sound like Pokemon. It just isn't Pokemon, and it's the first game I didn't buy or finish.
>One step forward
Where?
We come together, cause opposites attract.
Hey, Glad you you enjoy either but 99999 steps back / 100000 steps back.
I've sank about 150 hours into Arceus, but close to 300, maybe more, into S/V. Looking past the framerate and PS2 textures, as a video game, S/V is lightyears ahead. If you're willing to look past visuals and 10 FPS, it is the best Pokemon game, just a shame it has Bethesda-tier problems.
What have you been doing for 300 hours? I’m trying to understand and not be annoying.
PvP is fun, raids are boring, and shiny hunting is fun for a certain crowd. But someone who plays other games, there’s nothing to bring me back to SV until DLC.
PLA was a thousand steps back, literally and figuratively. It's not a true pokemon title, at best it's a spinoff. BDSP are the first real pokemon games since HGSS.
PLA looks hideous, SWSH tier even. Maybe even worse.
How was PLA a step forward in any shape or form?
Nobody gets too far like that
