Why do you even want to go to a Green Day concert in 2024? All their songs are about being a young person struggling with the way of the world and at war with themselves. They're old and rich now. At least they were lesser hypocrites 25 years ago, when they were young and rich.

All the mainline games belong in the trash, but gen4 was extreme shit. Zones are terrible. Pokemon designs terrible. The one redeeming quality was finally splitting physical and special.

The idea of a central dungeon that you come back to several times throughout your adventure as you unlock new abilities and enter/exit from different points is great but it was implemented by Gamefreak so lmao
i agree the concept of mountain coronet was really cool but was a fricking chore navigating it and confused the frick out of kids. Still appreciate the lore of how the spear pillar at the top transports you to a different dimensions

it does exist, if you use walk through walls cheats you can see all the space between playable areas is just full of trees
its full of trees because everything out of bounds is automatically filled in with trees. no one actually placed those trees there
Because they're not supposed to be little areas, they're supposed to suggest that the rivers and streams go somewhere that you just can't see

Gen IV was the peak. Diamond/Pearl were kind of annoying because of the slowness, but Platinum fixed that and then HG/SS were fantastic.
