how were these games so kino
Good atmosphere, decent writing, decent gameplay and it respects the source material.
great music
>top tier voice acting
>very one-dimensional, but developed and distinctive characters
>decent D&D rules adaptation
>not hard, but not exactly easy either
>fleshed out character creation
>potential for several playthroughs for dialogue alone
>different environments and fun quest designs
>holy shit Black person, Manaan fills the soul with pure bliss
Old Republic era is awesome
Made by Bioware when they were still a talented studio
because they actually cared about the game they were making and weren't just mindlessly shitting out mediocre garbage designed to steal money from the consumer
well, at least not until me3
why can't you get cool armor like that in the games? Had to mod that shit in, what were they thinking?
Because you're only back to being Revan for a short bit of the game. And even then, it's split between the new good Revan and the baddie Revan.
yeah I know the story, that didn't stop them from making more cool armor sets instead of what we got
because you're supposed to pay 20 dollars for the armor set, goy
This but unironically in SWTOR. With total different versions of Revan armour.
that's what I was referring to yes
i think you literally get that armor on the starforge which is like 5 minutes before the game ends
you get it if you mod it in
Had good characters and story. I’m not the biggest fan of the gameplay but it’s still good enough to keep me invested. The remake will definitely change up the gameplay
>remake
Is there an official announcement?
A remake should just keep the same dialog, characters, voice over, really keep everything the same except the game play and graphics
>Is there an official announcement?
It was announced waaay back but recently the whole project was given to some other studio because the previous one was incompetent. The rumour is they were jerking around and blew most of the budged and dev stime on a demo for the board.
>A remake should just keep the same dialog, characters, voice over, really keep everything the same except the game play and graphics
Sadly, it seems like we'll be getting an "update" to make the story more appealing to modern audience.
it was cancelled.
I have a few bridges to sell you if you think that remake's going to see the light of day
I rue the day it does.
that stance is inaccurate and triggers my autism
I don't get it. As a kid all I wanted was for someone to convince Lucas to make more stuff outside of the trilogy or sell it to someone because I thought all Star Wars side content was going to be as good as KOTOR 1&2,Republic Commando, and Jedi Knight.
Now my wish of endless movies,tv shows, cartoons and games have come true and ITS ALL UTTER SHIT. IT SUCKS. Recycled empire vs rebels shit, awful fricking designs and enemies. I thought we'd see characters as cool as Revan,Desann, Sev,HK47 etc..
And instead we get INQUISITOR #3402 Black Pajeet woman, baby yeed. Mandalorian was such a nice breath of air but then they turned him into generic scrappy rebel vs empire and involve him in Force shit with Jedi vs Sith
WHERES MUH YUUZAHN VONG TRILOGY DAMNIT!?
Current year follywood will make the Vong be the good guys
>that Ozzel
The Clone Wars (both versions) is great.
Battle front 2 classics story mode is what those shows should have been
No him, but I think TCW is an acceptable addition to the canon. Though it’s probably because Lucas was heavily involved in its creation that it turned out to be decent.
>inb4 it’s a kids show
Star Wars is a kid’s franchise in general.
Calling the entire franchise or even show childish seems over the top for me, they have childish elements but not exclusively so.
No, it’s definitely for kids. It’s just the good kind of kids content where they don’t pussyfoot around darker issues.
That’s the key to why SW was successful. It’s engaging for children while also having darker content.
Too simplistic a view for my tastes. That aside Kotor2 is one of the least childish games I ever played so the franchise is not limited to that imo
KOTOR 2 isn’t that much darker than say, Revenge of the Sith, for example.
Even with all the philosophical talk, it’s still filled with a lot of campy swashbuckling stuff that the series is known for. Again, it’s like RoTS where you have intensely philosophical and dramatic scenes being broken up by camp action segments in between.
BUT IT HAS POLITICAL INTRIGUE
>obvious good and bad sides
S-SHUT UP
Everyone knows that in Star wars, evil is everywhere and there are heroes on both sides.
>KOTOR 2 isn’t that much darker than say, Revenge of the Sith
You're moronic. KOTOR 2's themes and subject matter are far more nuanced and explore many more topics. ROTS is actually closer to KOTOR 1 dark side.
lmao no, rewatch the movies and pay attention.
lmao yes, replay the games and pay attention.
I'm not denying that KOTOR2 goes into a lot, but all its themes are already in the movie.
Like, the point of the PT is to play a joke on fans: what would happen if you take kids that play at being Luke and Leia and give them this huge power? You get Anakin and Padmé, two idiots.
TPM starts with the Jedi being sent to intimidate the federation from pursuing their legal rights. In AOTC they lie to the senate and start a galactic war against these aliens. In ROTS they attempt a coup and try to establish a Jedi-dictatorship.
The Jedi are shown, on screen, executing prisoners of war, and it's fun!
>Padawan taking on a war veteran prodigy Sith Lord
Bastila was a Mary Sue.
Did you even play the game bro
I did. The fact that she was even considered for the job is utterly ridiculous and moronic. She is a Padawan that didn't even go to the Mandalorian Wars. She is a special snowflake with he super rare special Battle Meditation. She had no business being abroad Revan's frigate.
1. She has a strike team of Jedi with her
2. She didn't even engage in combat before Revan got knocked out by Malak
3. She is not a Mary Sue because she has a massive character failure in the game
>2. She didn't even engage in combat before Revan got knocked out by Malak
Not the other guy but your first(?) vision shows Bastila actually clashing in combat with Revan. It was probably after he annihilated the Jedi strike team that was with her. Bastila was only saved because of Malak.
No actually she killed a random sith mook https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OE3faHoxDk
Did Revan really get knocked out by a simple ship explosion?
What did Bastilla do to him before the mind reset?
>What did Bastilla do to him before the mind reset?
Probably nothing. I expect she'd get obliterated if not for Malak "helping". Bastila's specialty was her OC inspirational meditation, not melee prowess.
Damn, you're right, I thought it was Revan.
>She also has no character other than being an annoying b***h.
You either played the game a long time ago or watched some homosexual do it on youtube because yours is a very superficial take.
Cry me a river, Black folk. Go jerk off to your bland Mary Sue and relax.
not either of them, but you're a fricking idiot bro
get over yourself
your mom can't get over my huge balls on her face
Still not a Mary Sue, friend.
Kotor 2 for a serious gayming
Lego SW for mindless fun in co-op
>1. She has a strike team of Jedi with her
She had no business being there in the first place. Her being there is a plot contrivance.
>2. She didn't even engage in combat before Revan got knocked out by Malak
See point one.
>3. She is not a Mary Sue because she has a massive character failure in the game
She is. She is a special snowflake with le special battle meditation who got to be Revan's OTP due to plot contrivance. She also has no character other than being an annoying b***h.
>she's a Mary Sue and has no character... because I say so
>Battle Meditation is... LE OP
You didn't play the game.
>battle meditation is le op
Wasn't it though?
I remember playing the game, and it talks about how they were able to turn around battles only because "Battle Meditation".
Did they ever address if it was because she had a surprisingly strong version of it?
Because you can learn it in 2 and even before that Jedi were known to "inspire" thrir troops on the battlefield.
Even then, Battle Meditation in 2 is ridiculously OP from a gameplay standpoint. It’s a must have force power for a combat build.
It has limitations, you need an army and it's also attached to an insecure young girl who can flip sides at any time. If you think about it the Jedi were making a huge gamble tying her to Revan.
She was only there for her unique talent of battle meditation. The rest of the team was supposed to take on Revan. And her arrogant attitude really shows how it got to her head.
That being said I wish I could get the hang of installing Kotor properly with widescreen and HD texture mods without fricking it all up.
yes, that was kinda the point
Yes, and she only won because Malak fired on Revan's ship
It respects the silence which is the foundation of creativity.
Would strangling a twi'lek with their own lekku be painful for them? Like would they first pass out from the pain or the lack of air?
they'd probably cum first since they're erogenous zones
The lekku are extremely sensitive so it would be they'd probably pass out from the pain first
auto-erotic asphyxiation is a leading cause of twilekcel death

We are forever thankful for TFU
How much is it on steam?
Can't you look it up, moron? What a stupid question.
19.99$
Pls don't buy games on Steam unless there's no other vendor. You're only "hurting" your wallet.
>EA Battlefront II
Why are you showing me a game only zoomers care about?
Thanks for the tip though
>Why are you showing me a game only zoomers care about?
Because you asked for it, homie. I guess that makes you a zommer, HAHA
I thought it's modded TFU
With the costume and the reverse grip.
I am apparently a moron
But I'm also surprised anyone put effort into modding EA Battlefront II
It's a replacer for Rey and the reverse grip is a part of animation/emote.
>But I'm also surprised anyone put effort into modding EA Battlefront II
There's loads of neat mods, tho it's usually just model/texture swaps.
I know Ganker likes to dunk on this game, especially without playing it, but I think it's fun. It's got a more enjoyable multiplayer but fricking ATROCIOUS singleplayer. Old BF2 had great sp game modes.
Built for big wookiee dingdongs
Is that what they call it nowadays?
KEE PUNA
Blew my mind when I found out this is Mira.
Wait seriously? The Bounty Hunter from Kotor 2?
Bullshit that's Mira. Nevermind anything else, only like five years pass between 1 and 2.
assuming she's like 17 in 2 it could work
but I think her backstory (as she tells it) might contradict this theory?
the ambient computer beeps are a nice touch
The hum and beeps of the ship are just as important as the instruments.
last nights thread was fantastic. same OP?
Yeah, I wanted another comfy KOTOR thread.
How bout a lil space jazz in here?
Me on the right
imagine being a bith lmao
I would be a Sith Bith.
you mean jizz?
Was Malak a Rattataki or just a weird looking human
he was human and an absolute unit
>2m tall
In awe at the size of this lad.
Give it to me straight anon, how bad is the remake going to be? Or will it turn out alright now that they gave it to Saber.
Refer to
It's a modern remake with likely the usual baggage, however, as long as they don't touch the story too bad and focus on updating the game. It should be okay, at least.
They will probably frick it up though and you'll have to live with a generation of people who think Kotor R is the best thing, because people who are 20 years older than them told them Kotor is the best thing.
Threadly reminder that Ithorians should stay in the slums where they belong.
>t. small human child
People who like bastilla propably like yennefer too.
Imagine going for the cuck option while having acces to all b***hes in the galaxy
what are you on about
your choices in KOTOR are bastila and the ugly alien c**t who most people killed in her first encounter
It's not comparable to the Witcher/Yennefer at all where you spend 3 games cavorting around and then are expected to suddenly give a shit about Yen because it's "canon"
Is KOTOR 2 or Lego Star Wars TCS worth getting if I just want a game to scratch the Star Wars itch?
I'm playing KotoR2 for that same itch right now
It's working
It's working
Depends on your mood. KOTOR 2 is a very somber and eerie type of fever dream and Lego SW is bing bing wahoo fun time.
Play Kotor 2
It's cheap and worth it
Do what
said and play Kotor 2, but make sure you install the Restoration mod. It's almost mandatory
> It's almost mandatory
Some of the shit from TRCM was cut for a reason. Like the Droid Factory.
>Like the Droid Factory.
Holy filtered. HK Factory is kino
it requires hk to be pretty fricking decked out in gear. but this shouldn't be too hard.
end room is a slog tho. when a million fricking hks stand in your way
Post Mission.

Anon, I...
Well I guess i was on the money.
i must be plugged into some matrix device because as soon as i started playing this threads popped up
>start replaying mass effect
>mass effect threads pop up
>start replaying kotor
>kotor threads pop up
locking dialogue options behind paragon/renegade level was a dumb decision
They're pretty regular. You just notice them more when you recognise what they're about and are thinking about them.
I'm doing a schizo run right now and going DS at the temple actually moves you from full LS a good deal into red.
keep me posted
I always liked how there are key parts in 1 and 2 where you can just plunge straight into dark side. It lets you role-play your light side character having a downfall.
it's a bit different from my usual DS playthroughs because you can be surprisingly down-to-earth about the situation when you get back to the ship
>yes Carth, I'm bad now. No Carth, not everyone shares your opinion
also the part where he makes a run for it always makes me crack up for some reason
kek my favorite were those long face bug eye freaks.
>douche para gilfa
If you had to spend a year on a desert planet with only one party member from either KOTOR 1 or 2, who would that character be?
Challenge mode: No sex.
Is that really a question?
Depends on the desert planet
Tatooine is a shithole
T3 would be the most helpful I think and I wouldn't be expected to be social with a droid
Hk-47.
Prolly Bastila even without the sex because she seems like the deepest character and jedi powers are helpful for survival. Canderous would probably be great at survival too but is a bit hostile.
Kreia or Atton
Kreia could teach me a lot about the Force and being a pragmatic dick
Atton is a bro
one of the droids (not goto tho)
Jolee
uuuuhh
Mission I guess
isn't goto some crime lord who wants to keep an eye on the exile or am i misremembering something
Finish Nar Shaddaa
I played this game when I was a kid I'm not going to replay it
either answer my question or frick off
ah alright then I'm definitely misremembering something
You didn't misremember. The AI is pretending to be a reclusive crime lord.
So you played it without restored content?
You should replay it then.
Goto or G0T0 is a droid that was made to oversee the reconstruction of Telos and the Republic after the Jedi Civil War, but judged that the Republic would need a Jedi or Sith Order to survive
you totally should replay it though
even more so because you're not a kid anymore
>I'm not going to replay it
DOWN YOU GO
Goto is an AI trying to keep the republic intact by any means and it sees the exile as a way to do that
HK-47, no contest
I also like being called a meatbag
Either Bastila or Mission.
Imagine the sweat trickling down her sun-clad body
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sand People are going to kill you so HK-47 is a no-brained, also translation as well as him giving me bedtime stories
the OT would've been VERY different if they had HK instead of 3PO lmao
Billions of human children are being indoctrinated since very early to be obsessed for Twi'lek pussy. How do you feel about this?
>Tantive IV turns into a meatgrinder for 'troopers since HK is at the end of the hall
T3 would help keep me alive and doesn't need resources to survive.
Teee wanga titty pinchy, jabba won jerrrr
No problem...
DIDN'T WORK
pure pazaak
there ARE things a Remake could actually improve but of course they're not the things that are gonna get changed
Step 1: uglify every character to avert the male gaze
Lads are the TOR stories that bad? I watched that 9 hour Revan story video yesterday and the TOR stuff seemed passable at least. Is it worth just playing the free mode for the story and ignoring the rest of the game?
The class stories are hit and miss. Some are really good (sith warrior, sith inq, agent) and some are shit (jedi consular) but the game is free so you might as well give it a go and try them all.
Ok I'll check it out. It seems like they made him a raid boss or something in an expansion? Bit of a shame but understandable. Going by that video summary at least they didn't make him a little b***h for the sake of upping the stakes.
Sure he lost 1v1 to the emperor but delaying him for 300 years is a great feat and his appeal as a character was always his tremendous willpower, even beyond the dark/light side divide, and pursuit of the ultimate right goal even if people around him didn't understand or support him. Something about that just gets to me.
Only the last season was made under Disney. Rebels was a lot weaker, though still had some neat moments. Thrawn's VA did a great job.
>Only the last season was made under Disney.
It was great besides the middle arc where they put in the lesbian Puerto Ricans to fulfill the diversity quota
I wasn't convinced by the Bad Batch but they're alright. The fricking twins were a complete travesty though, you're 100% correct.
Yeah that part was shit but the cartel planet they were on was neat. I always loved the crime underworld side of SW and wish it got explored more in a big way. Rip 1313.
here's hoping that the Ubisoft game will remedy that
I know lol
lmao even
The Revan raid boss is a pretty fun fight actually. There's even a phase where hk47 comes in.
Tor stories range from bad to good but pretty much everything directly connected to Revan is shit.
The basic class stories (so lvl 1-50) are totally fine, no harm in checking them out. There might be some moronic f2p limitations still, though.
KotOR is overrated.
The first game was literally a collection of Star Wars tropes and plot points. It was The Force Awakens before The Force Awakens, packaged in a mediocre DnD 3.5 RPG.
The second game was half-baked, buggy, unfinished mess with the writer's mouth piece not being able to shut the frick up because he fundamentally did not understand and hated the setting.
Also, the designs were mostly atrocious. Technology being the same as in the movies despite being set 4000 years before them makes no sense, and it was done only because people needed recognizable Star Wars stuff for it to sell. Revan is a bland self-insert power fantasy with no character.
>Revan is a bland self-insert power fantasy with no character
It's almost as if he's got amnesia for 90% of the game.
and they're some the best SW games we've ever gotten
shit damn
>The first game was literally a collection of Star Wars tropes and plot points
Yeah but it actually pulled this off perfectly, unlike The Force Awakens
>Technology being the same as in the movies despite being set 4000 years before them makes no sense
Perhaps technology had already reached its peak
>Perhaps technology had already reached its peak
and we STILL can not get stable holo communication!
>Yeah but it actually pulled this off perfectly, unlike The Force Awakens
Same shit, really. The amount of blatant ripping off in the same vein as "DUDE THIS IS TOTALLY NOT TATOOINE, THIS IS JAKKU!" is astonishing. The entirity of KotOR is just the same shit from the movies, but with worse designs.
>Perhaps technology had already reached its peak
No. The technology clearly progressed between the PT and OT. It is seen not only in visual language, with the PT being mostly art deco 1920's-1930's style and the OT being WW2 style, but technologically, too. The PT starfighters didn't have hyperdrives, Imperial Star Destroyers were better than Venators, some starfighters started to have shields, Death Star, which was a marvel of technology, etc.
KotOR having literally the same tech is absolutely stupid. It was supposed to be a sequel to those Tales of the Jedi comic books, which looked absolutely archaic, but they made it look like the movies, so that people could recognize Star Wars stuff and it would sell better.
Kotor 1 was a collection of tropes, because how else would you sell a disconnected piece of Star Wars media?
Kotor 2 was unfinished, because Lucasarts was run by morons.
Why are you mad it was a criticism of Star Wars within Star Wars if you didn't like all the tropes in 1?
Because he's a shitposter and a contrarian who only wants to complain. Hence "overrated". No one who says the word "overrated" is ever worth paying attention to, because they're telling you right off the bat that what they really care about isn't the actual quality of the work, but how that work is perceived by other people.
I at least agree with the point about technology, it feels pretty lame
The whole "stagnant tech" aesthetic of the OT loses its cool factor if it never progressed in the first place
Would've been cool to see really ancient Star Wars tech
You kind of do with the Rakata. I think the comics go into it more but basically they invented the advanced tech of the setting and nobody could really do any better than that. Before them you had cryogenic sleep on exploration ships and no hyperdrives.
I dunno, even the transition between some PT tech and the OT felt more significant
4000 years is a real frickin long time for nobody in the entire galaxy to be innovating
Play it now
Maybe mod it
Darth Tenebrous?
>Darth Tenebrous?
Exactly
>4000 years is a real frickin long time for nobody in the entire galaxy to be innovating
I'll keep the suspension of disbelief in order to enjoy these games.
Humans went a hundred thousand years with no innovation.
Maybe a bunch of other stuff was being innovated in star wars, like medicine, food, art
You could just assume that most tech is more or less at the pinnacle of its possible level of efficiency and further research just isn't really worth it.
It's clearly not though. Look at the changes in technology over the course of the prequel trilogy.
>Look at the changes in technology over the course of the prequel trilogy
There are none besides the death star
There are new ship designs, better clone armour, better vehicles, improved battle droid AI
And coated vibroblades capable of stopping a lightsaber somehow disappeared.
For me it's blue.
Minimal from what I can see, especially on a galactic scale.
Not exactly, most single pilot fighters don't have hypersapce drives, Jedi fighters need to use external rings
>I'll keep the suspension of disbelief in order to enjoy these games.
Don't get me wrong, I can still enjoy these games, it just takes me out of it a bit
The upside is that I get to spend time thinking about what it could've looked like instead
But ultimately the real shame is that the designers probably went with the familiar aesthetics because that's what sells, like what Bethesda did with Elder Scrolls Oblivion, I just wish designers weren't so constrained by IRL limitations
>The first game was literally a collection of Star Wars tropes and plot points
that's exactly why it's loved. You got to play a Star Wars story but it had OC donut steal characters that didn't impact the orignal characters and films
>because he fundamentally did not understand and hated the setting
and it lead to one of the greatest games and characters in the series
>Technology being the same as in the movies despite being set 4000 years before them makes no sense
this always felt strange to me as well
it sounds like you fundamentally dont understand and hate the setting. opinion noted, and moving on.
homosexual
>DS Malak fight turns into "who can suck the most jedi popsicles"
I never actually played KOTOR, is it worth playing right now or should I wait for when the remake (probably never) drops?
Yes play it if you like Star Wars you will probably enjoy it
I’ll give it a try then thanks Anons
I’m a poor moron though so no PC, but for 5 bucks you can’t go wrong.
Oops forgot pic
Wouldn't surprise me if Kotor could run on a tablet
It does. You can buy it on the google store.
the mobile port is actually decent afaik
It’s on mobile
But I’m not paying 30+ bucks for 20 year old games.
How fixed is the KotoR 2 version?
>s/But I’m not paying 30+ bucks for 20 year old games./But I'm not paying 30+ bucks for watching a video game in a 6' motinor handled you by the chinese government to do whatever
Surely. That's what anon meant. Surely.
I'm losing my mind here. Do anons really wana wanga on small 4' inches monitors nowadays? What the smallest they would go for?
I bought KOTOR on Xbox and another anon asked if there was a mobile version.
Bought KOTOR on Xbox for 5 bucks, KOTOR on Mobile costs 13.99
Anon it's 20 years old you could play it on a microwave.
in that case skip Kotor 2 until you can play it on pc with the restored content mod, trust me on this the game is not finished in vanilla but with the mod it's way better than the first one
Will do thanks, pulling a wagecuck move and waiting for my tax returns to get a PC.
Got a friend who knows how to build PCs and he’s teaching me, not falling for Prebuilt dogshit.
good on you anon, hope you enjoy Kotor 1.
thankfully you don't need a 4090 or some shit to play Kotor2 lol
True but I plan to switch to PC as my main platform. israelites at BestBuy are trying to sell me a 1060 build for 1300 CAD
hot damn, that IS quite israeli
Oh sorry, if I buy now I can save 500 bucks on a 1660 build for 1000 bucks. Oh god the israelitery is in the air. https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/asus-rog-strix-g10dk-gaming-pc-grey-amd-ryzen-5-4600g-512gb-ssd-12gb-ram-geforce-gtx1660-ti-win11/15737357?icmp=Recos_3across_tp_sllng_prdcts&referrer=PLP_Reco
they'll most likely frick up the remakes anyway so just play the originals. Don't forget the restored content mod for Kotor 2
Play it now. The atmosphere is kino and there are probably graphical mods anyway. Last we heard the remake was a complete shitshow.
It's great, play it now. Get flawless widescreen if there's something iffy with your resolution.
credits boizzzz
>MALAK IS DEAD
For me, it's Sith getup and appearance and using a blue lightsaber with lawful good alignment.
just for Ganker reasons or can you back that up with lore?
I just want to roleplay as a punished Jedi going through penitence. Preferably still struggling to let go of the Dark Side, or accepting it is already a part of my being and have to use it for good no matter how delicious the temptation to sperg out is
man, that reminds me of a neat part in swtor
>get sent to help out a redeemed sith protecting a republic base
>Emperor's attack dog also on his way there
>former sith goes "I can't deal with this shit, if he gets to me I WILL relapse"
fricking darkies lmao
The grip, man, the Dark Side grabs you so tightly it's insane. Miss me with that purple lightsaber shit, though, it's so gay. Either give me gray or red or blue
MUCHA SHAKA PAKA
I wanna replay both games
only played them once and I was dual lightsaber flurry in both
what other lightsaber build options are there?
I'm not going fricking blaster or vibroblade in a fricking Star Wars game that gives me the option to use a lightsaber
>single blade
>dueling feat
Time to save the galaxy.
There is literally no reason to play lightsaber when you can spam Force Storm. Combat sucks in those games. There are no other build options when there are only 3 attacks available, with all but Flurry sucking ass.
calm down Sheev

Try asking on Reddit, you obviously just came from there
try go fricking yourself and ask tyrone from around the corner how much dick do you think you'd be able to take, how about that.
Go blaster or unarmed. Frick lightsabers.
>can't get the cool alignment based star forge robes until 20 minutes before the end of the game
why do game devs do shit like this
Yeah it would be understandable if there was a post-game or NG+ but that's just dumb.
I think the medicine improvement is actually a thing as they go from kolto in KOTOR to bacta in the OT which is synthetic iirc.
Double-bladed
fricking shame it is
Trolling Bastilla the entire game until she admits she loves you was kino.
I love her lines when you're playing a dark jedi. Pretty cute writing.
kotor's blue UI
or
kotor2's green UI?
What do you guys think about the Darth Jar Jar theory? Personally I find the evidence pretty convincing and wish Lucas had kept it in the plot. It would have been an amazing reveal.
it's pants on head moronic BUT there's a logic to it
still, Sith Lord getting himself almost killed multiple times just for the long con seems like a bad idea
>Sith Lord getting himself almost killed multiple times just for the long con seems like a bad idea
Have you seen how many times Palps almost dies in the prequels?
He was never in real danger. Everything was planned meticulously. 300IQ moves every second of the day.
Idk I think he thrived on the sense of danger
I like to think that there was some danger, just for the thrill of it.
They will but at the same time their nation itself is gone because they listened to dancing gay israelite.
>They will but at the same time their nation itself is gone because they listened to dancing gay israelite.
moron.
I don't think the CIS ship breaking in half and then crashing was planned.
You say that but this is Sheev we are talking about.
The CIS ship breaking in half with the best pilot in the galaxy and force nexus he made at the helm? He was never in any danger.
>The CIS ship breaking in half with the best pilot in the galaxy
Well, under the circumstances I'd say the ability to pilot this thing is irrelevant.
>force nexus
Sounds like headcanon.
EU shit, Sheev and his master tried to manipulate the midichlorians to create life, Anakin was the result, he was lowkey telling Anakin how he came to be in that one scene.
>Completely safe in Phantom Menace
>Completely safe in Attack of the Clones
>Imperiled three times in Revenge of the Sith with less control each time
Three times, three, one of those wasn't even legitimate.
It's hilarious and I like the fan theory but from what I understand that's all it is. Lucas never had it in the plot. Jar Jar was made to be a funny character for all the kids who Lucas wanted to grow up watching the new trilogy
Didn't Jar Jar's actor confirmed that there were major rewrites as a result of backlash? Idk anon it just makes too much sense to not be in there. Count Dooku comes from nowhere and is only in like 5 scenes across two movies. But Jar Jar being Plagueis would fit.
Jar Jar being a dark side mirror to Yoda in the OT fits with Lucas' writing style, as is the claim that he's inspired by The Mule from the foundation series and Bink from the Xanth series.
I understand that point of view but if you rewatch TPM while thinking of it all the hints are there. Especially the "bigger fish" scene. If Yoda wasn't revealed as a jedi until episode 6 everyone would have just thought he was an annoying moron too.
BBBBut Lucas said Jar Jar was the keyyyyyyy
A Sith Lord playing the fool is one thing, but he can disarm people without stepping into actual shit and behaving like a gorilla Black person.
If Jar Jar had been toned down I wouldn't have minded tho it is hard to imagine anybody being above Sheev.
>tfw Palpatine just gets off his seat
Palpatine fighting just activates almonds than I couldn't possibly imagine. I wish all Sith could make autistic sounds and insane moves like him, but I guess that's why he's the GOAT.
Truly their feeble skills are no match for da powa of the dark side
it's fricking funny going from Dooku's elegant and refined fighting style to literal autistic screeching
And you know you love it
Could Batman defeat him with prep time?
Lucas never thought of it until people started bringing it up, he played into it to cover his ass because he realised fans were sick of him pandering to 6 year olds with comedy in the space opera.
Dumb reddit cope by people who hate Jar Jar and have no soul.
>that episode where everyone thinks jar jar is a jedi master
jar jar is the luckiest Black person in starwars.
and we all know luck = strong in the force.
there are no coincidences. homie is blessed by higher powers
the theory is funny but that's it. Lucas is not one that would've changed course like that if it truly was his idea
It's dumb and it ignores a lot of the interesting things Lucas was already doing with Jar Jar. The name of the Gungans comes from the story of Gunga Din, a story of a water bearer in the British Raj who is abused despite his service. In the final line, the soldiers admit he was the better man than them.
In TPM, Jar Jar is effectively the protagonist, but he is replaced and forced out of the story after the Jedi find Anakin and determine him to be genetically superior after a blood test.
well Ganker 1 or 2? prove you have good taste
1 for comfy safe predictable Star Wars experience.
2 for KINO
I prefer 2
2 was predictable too. You just have to think "What would a pseudo-intellectual that wants to deconstruct Star Wars instead of just write a normal Star Wars story do?" and that's it.
Terrible bait
I like 1 more as a game but 2 is more interesting.
1. 2 is a good game but even with the restored content mod its still a buggy, unfinished mess. I prefer 1 because its more consistent.
Ironically the only game breaking bug I encountered was in 1. I had to restart because I couldn't leave the Hutt planet due to a bug. I did have the restored content mod in 2, thoughever
Not even close.
Pure kino
I don't wanna go off-topic but this is very much what's happening to Ukraine right now. Whether they win or lose they will after this conflict have a complete separate identity from Russia. Something they've struggled with since the 19th century
Ukraine translates to borderlands
Portugal translates to port port, what's your point?
>Portport
Incredible, thank you for informing me of this, I'm gonna call it that exclusively from now on.
I know
>Jar Jar's actor confirmed that there were major rewrites as a result of backlash?
From what I understand that was just the character being cut from most of Episode 2 and 3 because of how hated it was.
>Jar Jar being a dark side mirror to Yoda in the OT fits with Lucas' writing style
agreed, I mean I love the theory I just don't think it was Lucas intent.
TELL THEM MOTHERFRICKERS 'BOUT THE SHEER DARK SIDE!
Reminder that Revan is a groomer. He's pushing 40 while Bastilla is barely 20. I don't care how "cute" their romance is, that's not okay.
That's called a normal human relationship. Women like older men.
Don't care, still jack off to the thought of him impregnating her ripe, fertile womb.
Based Revan.
Meanwhile he didn't even need to groom Mission since she is already a Twi'lek.
How did Twi'lek's get known as SW bawds when Zeltrons exist?
>Zeltron culture was highly influenced by sexuality and the pursuit of pleasure in general. Most of their art and literature was devoted to the subject, producing some of the raciest pieces in the galaxy. They looked upon monogamy as a quaint, but impractical, practice. They were also very gifted with holograms, and were the creators of Hologram Fun World. Their Elixir of Infatuation was notorious for its powerful amorous effects.
>Zeltrons were known to dress in wildly colorful or revealing attire. It was common to see male and female Zeltrons wearing shockingly bright shades of neon colors in wildly designed bikinis, or nearly skin tight clothing of other sorts with bizarre color designs, patterns, and symbols.
>Zeltrons were often stereotyped as lazy thrill-seekers, owing to their hedonistic pursuits. Indeed, their homeworld of Zeltros thrived as a luxury world and "party planet," as much for their own good as for others. If anyone wasn't having a good time on Zeltros, the Zeltrons would certainly know of it, and would do their best to correct it. Though their first inclination was to love, if pushed to do so, Zeltrons could prove to be formidable warriors.
>when Zeltrons exist
No one knows who that is. No one cares.
Besides, they are just
>humans but pink
Boring.
Because Twi'lek's are everywhere and I've never seen a Zeltron
>They were also known for being extremely gullible
A race of bimbos, holy shit. But I think it's because up to this day I haven't heard shit of them, so lack of content is the explanation
I guess Twi'leks are much more of a slave race, to the point that slavery is seen by some as a good thing because it means they get to leave their shithole homeworld Ryloth
That Zeltron lady on Telos seems to be doing well for herself until the Exile came along, being more of a notable criminal instead of a total prostitute
She could be both but the former stands out more than the latter when you're interacting with her
oh shit I always wondered what race Luxa was
>that slave outfit during the Zygerrian arc in TCW
Because Zeltrons are NON-CANON
because twilek appear in pretty much all of star wars media thus more people know about them
He didn't groom anyone, she's the one who fell for him. And who can blame him?
>jedi ladies in skimpy see-through clothing
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH
Jerk off before posting, gay.
Keep crying about attractive women, homo.
You're either a walled roastie, or you're simping for walled roasties. That's not okay.
Their love is bound by the force, true love.
>it's not okay for a grown adult to flirt with a grown adult
Okay.
A 40 year old and a 20 year old are completely different. The label "adult" doesn't mean anything in regards to a two decade age difference.
So 20 year old women are children that cannot possible know what is good for them.
Good thing they have such fine white knights, like yourself, to protect them from ramming the wrong wiener into their c**ts.
So? They're both still adults.
The reason pedophilia (actual pedophilia with children, not the moronic shit you're implying) is bad isn't because adults and children are "completely different", whatever the frick that means (for the record I've known plenty of 20 year olds that are precociously mature and plenty of 40 year olds with maturity of teenagers), it's because children don't have agency and aren't mentally and physically developed.
I wish I had a 40 milf lusting after me when I was 20.
I mean...
Nah thanks, I'm not into grannies
mucha shaka paka
What would you do if you found a e-girl in your cargo hold who can't even speak basic to alert the authorities?
didn't see thread so i will ask here:
did anyone else think the genoharadan shit was a missed opportunity?
i feel incredibly shafted every time i finish that questline. like i am not allowed to have fun.
why are games so averse to letting you join a brotherhood? same with the sith. you can't join them in this game
>wwnh characters this kino ever again
for me, it's hanharr
he's my boyest boy in these games.
does he act reformed how he was before?
nah still a psycho i'm pretty sure (not my pic)
>C3PO but evil
They did that.
HK is far more interesting than this reflective Black person
Literally the exact same shit.
If you are clinically moronic
epic rebuttal, my friend
doesn't change the fact that they are literally the same shit
I, and everybody else have been completely and totally convinced by your sound argumentation.
Congratulations!
HK-47 and C3PO have nothing in common beyond being robots that can talk, and HK-47 isn't "evil".
How would he be? Someone like Kreia but way more fatalistic and pessimistic berating the MC for trusting in others and not seeing the clear signs of manipulation from the higher powers that be stretching across the galaxy, while preaching extreme racism and violence toward the Hutts? Or would he be another mook that you kill in a random, unimportant location?
Someone with a dark past who wants to do the right thing but finds it difficult to overcome his scars. His character arc is a deeply introspective journey to repair his own psyche and make himself strong enough to be his own foundation, rather than clinging to external circumstances.
Would Anon do it alone since I'm sure he'd be moronic enough to think "external circumstances" also include people or would he actually the MC's group?
Give this man a twi'lek of each color in the spectrum
He would be the MC. After all, you have to be the MC of your own life.
I CAN'T STOP THIS FEELING
DEEP INSIDE OF ME
So if that scrapped remake actually came out considering who the writer was how much of a fricking mess would it be?
Cyberpunk 2077 levels of shit
I want to cum inside mission
I know it's a KotOR thread but I've been replaying Galactic Battlegrounds recently and there's just so much stuff that reminds me of the good times
I always thought Echuu Shen-Jon was a pretty cool guy, and it's cool hearing Mara Jade narrate the Empire campaign
I hope Expanded Fronts keeps on expanding
Is that the RTS made by Ensemble?
Also, I think I still prefer Sev'rance Tann to Asajj Ventress
Hard to go wrong with a Chiss woman
I think LucasArts just licensed the engine from them, but yeah
There's a mod/team called Expanded Fronts that's keeping the game alive, making it run on modern systems and adding shitloads of new content in the form of entire factions (double the total amount of release factions, I think) and unique editor units, it's pretty cool
>you can literally turn bastilla back to the light side with the power of love
who wrote this anime shit?
>Darth Vader got turned back to the light side with the power of love
Anon?
That's different. Vader went back to being Anakin out of love for his son and it worked because he was Vader for so long that it made his turn meaningful. Bastilla went to the darkside for day and then immediately went back to the light after Raven went "uwu I love you Bastilla" and got drenched over the thought of having his babies.
The differences are irrelevant, the overarching theme of Star Wars has always been that love is at once your only hope and the path to damnation.
Was Palpatine asexual?
He loved the Dark Side, why would he get away from it lmao
Who knows, who fricking cares, he's a rhetorical device for the protagonists as the embodiment of the end of the path of damnation.
I care, maybe asexual was the wrong term but did he just not care about relationships? Did he ever love anyone besides himself?
EU says he was always just kind of an butthole, he wasn't angry, he wasn't horny, he wasn't afraid, he just wanted to be the strongest, most influential guy ever.
>Was Palpatine asexual?
Nonsense, he loved democracy
Demosexual?
The Plaguious novel implied he was quite the ladies man when he felt like it.
The difference is tremendous because Luke and Vader was the love of father and son, which is unconditional and compassionate in nature, whereas Revan and Bastila was just regular romance bullshit, and besides, they married afterwards, thus completely shitting on the themes of Star Wars. Jedi don't marry.
Most brainlet take in history. Who hurt you anon?
>completely shitting on the themes of Star Wars
You're a moron, Luke ultimately rejected the strictures of the Jedi, which would have had him kill his own father no matter the cost. He had no romance sub-plot after Empire we don't talk about that, Yoda literally told him he was not a Jedi yet, and that he knew all he needed, the EU goes into greater detail with this in that the Jedi order he goes on to build allows marriage.
>Luke ultimately rejected the strictures of the Jedi
No, he didn't. He embraced them. Which is why he let go of his attachment to his sister, friends, and his own life. Attachment, which nearly made him kill Vader and fall to the Dark Side.
>muh EU
Irrelevant and not canon. Jedi don't marry. The EU was written before the prequels came out, and instead of correcting their mistake, they doubled down on it. And even then, no Jedi in the original film was married. Nothing of sorts was even implied. On the other hand, Yoda said, "A Jedi must have the deepest commitment. The most serious mind." Which the marriage inherently contradicts. Kinda obvious if you think about it, which the EU authors did not. Lucas was right.
Yoda and Ben remained such absolute Black folk they told Luke he HAD to kill his father.
They themselves were too attached to their status, their power and the idea of themselves as righteous heroes, that is how Palpatine fricked them over.
Luke didn't embrace the old Jedi Order, he threw it into the trash where it belonged.
Absolute brainlets. I guess Lucas has to explain it to you, since you are incapable of grasping it yourselves by watching the movies alone:
>“A Jedi can’t kill for the sake of killing. The mission isn’t for Luke to go out and kill his father and get rid of him. The issue is, if he confronts his father again, he may, in defending himself, have to kill him, because his father will try to kill him.”— George Lucas
>PAUL DUNCAN: Obi-Wan knows more than he lets on.
>GEORGE LUCAS: He knows that, eventually, Darth Vader is going to come looking for them. He knows this whole thing is going to blow up into a big war. He knows a confrontation is brewing between Luke and his father. Ben hopes Luke will either save his father or kill him, because whatever extra powers Luke’s got in his lineage, he is the one person that can probably fight his father and win.
>He held onto his attachments
No, he didn't. He attacked Vader in rage because of his attachment to Leia, and nearly fell to the Dark Side. That's when he realized he was wrong and he was becoming Vader. Because he did the exact same thing. That's how he became Vader: he could not let go of his attachments. He literally, physically let go of his weapon, let go of his attachments and let go of his very life.
You people are very, very stupid. Though, should be expected. This is Ganker.
tl;dr
Old Jedi are Black folk, Luke knew better
No, they weren't. It's just you not understanding Star Wars. Also, saying "Black person" doesn't make you fit in.
They old Jedi were such utter and complete Black folk they caught blaster shots with their bodies in order to protect the guy that was killing them en mass.
They were beyond pathetic
>No, he didn't. He attacked Vader in rage
You must have missed the whole bit before that where he was defending himself and outright saying 'I will not fight you father!'. The whole segment was a struggle with temptation, he almost let his attachments draw him to the dark side. The weapon and throwing it aside was an act of proving that he wouldn't sever his attachments to Vader or be consumed by them by fighting further. Regardless of what you say, Lucas himself canonised the EU works, which explore that further.
The Jedi were wrong, they always were.
>The weapon and throwing it aside was an act of proving that he wouldn't sever his attachments to Vader
No, the weapon and throwing it aside was an act of compassion towards Vader. Unconditional compassion. Regardless of how evil he was, regardless of the fact that he threatened Leia. It was an act of letting go of his attachment towards Leia, the one that nearly made him kill Vader. It was an act of letting go of his life, but staying true to his principles. There was no attachment between Luke and Vader, Luke never knew him. The only Vader Luke has ever known was the monster that mutilated him, tortured his friends and threatened to do the same to Leia. And despite that Luke showed him *compassion*. That's why it is unconditional. You people fundamentally miss the point. Probably because you read to much fanfics - I mean EU.
>Lucas himself canonised the EU works
No, he didn't. They were a parallel world that had nothing to do with his world. He let them do their own thing and he didn't read it.
>The Jedi were wrong, they always were.
No, they weren't.
>No, they weren't.
Considering the Jedi let themselves be wiped out by a guy smiling in their faces, I would say they were pretty wrong.
They were manipulated. They weren't wrong. They didn't let anything. It just happened because they were exploited and outmaneuvered. Thinking they are to blame for their own genocide is extremely juvenile and largely missing the entire point. Which Star Wars fans do a lot. It's their specialty.
They are a galaxy spanning organization that has existed for literally thousands of years.
If they are too bone-headed to understand they are being lied to and manipulated then they deserve everything they get.
Protectors of the galaxy that cannot protect themselves, what a complete joke.
>get murdered buy a bunch of moronic clones with laser weapons
Where was that force deflection? Where was that famous jedi 6th sense of theirs? They were too weak to live and Palpy cleansed them from the galaxy.
I think you're being too hard on them.
THE DARK SIDE CLOUDED THEIR SENSES, OK???
>the Jedi Order got roofied by the dark side
>1000 force sensitive jedi trained to detect faint traces of the force across planets cannot even get a hint of lvl 99 dark force master sith when they shake hands with him because he put on his glamour just right that morning
Lucas took weeks to come up with that plot, weeks!
Sheev is way beyond that, in the RotS novel Dooku notes that even when viewed through the lens of the Dark Side, one could not detect Palpatines true power.
>literal "good luck I have a gorillion force proxies"
the madman
>thousand years old jedi grandmanster realizes Sheev is so much more powerful than him, he immediately shits his pants and goes into exile realizing he's wasted his life and has no chance to even make a scratch against such a force of primordial evil
Yoda is a little b***h - decided to fade away before the ultimate battle instead of supporting Luke. Just like Obi-Wan
little he is, force big he thought had but overestimated himself did
In the ass, he got fricked.
Lube, his tears were
Like a pig, squeal he had
Most of the Jedi are incompetent. Qui Gon was the only Jedi who had the right idea.
Him selling it doesn’t change the fact that his word is law on the pieces of media he created, especially since everything Lucas made is still canon under the mouse. Unless you subscribe to “death of the author” bullshit.
>doesn’t change the fact that his word is law on the pieces of media he created
It literally isn't. Not anymore, at least.
It was only ever law for absolute morons too stupid to think for themselves.
I bet you would have a nice day too if somebody with authority told you to.
>this anger
Goooood...
>he actually believes sapients can get rid themselves out of base emotions
I often though something similar when I was watching the film but I rewatched it recently and the duel looks much closer:
>ends with a draw, kinda
>yoda is lighter so he falls down a long distance and lands on his dumb ass
>loses his lightsaber but even if he didn't, no way Palpatine would get overconfident again and it wouldn't be a 1v1 fight
>by the time he climbed up again, the building would be swarming with enemy troops and Palpatine wasn't really injured
It was either running away/exile or a suicide mission. Tho it's kinda weird he didn't co-operate with rebels or anything. Maybe they could've pulled off an assassination or something.
>build Jedi Temple over a location strong with Dark Side energy
>wooow how was I supposed to know that would weaken our connection to the Force?!
Not quite right, they built the temple thousands of years ago and only got blinded a few years before TPM.
The real kicker is that Coruscants undercities are bigger shitholes than Nar Shadaa but 1000 generations of Jedi never managed to make any difference there.
That’s the point. The Jedi were so arrogant and caught up in their detached ways that they couldn’t make a difference.
Pretty much, not even sure if they failed to change Coruscant or never even tried to.
Never tried to is more likely. The Jedi philosophy is passive. Plus, I suppose the Jedi are aware that you can never be rid of evil and crime, so they don’t bother. They only concern themselves with things that throw the Force out of balance like the Sith.
>The Jedi philosophy is passive
pic related.
That asided Jedi supposedly travelled all over the galaxy solving conflicts as diplomats, killing threatening entities and upholding Galactic Law.
Even if you say one cannot eliminate crime there is a difference between having the occasional criminal run around robbing people and hosting not only the gang wars between Bloods n' Crips as well as the Sicilian Mafia.
The Clone Wars happened because the Jedi suspected that the Sith were involved. They were reluctant to go to war until Sidious and Dooku forced their hand.
I know what you mean, the Jedi were generally passive until they had no choice.
Guess that is why their second favourite weapon was the Pacifist Pattern Flamethrower MK V
>They were manipulated.
Yes, the infinitely wise order of psychics with precognitive abilities were hoodwinked.
Almost like their tragedy was a result of their own arrogance and hypocrisy, and not just one dude being an obsessed incel.
How can you call Sheev an incel when he fricked the Jedi order to death?
Checkmate atheists
yo before the thread dies, is ther any way to play this cutie in 2
there are mods that port heads from k1 to k2
will go digging then
based, Lara Croft is the best female Revan
i enjoyed a dark side bald headed b***h one, but aesthetically lara is superior
>Refuses to kill his father dispassionately as a real Jedi with no attachments would have
>N-No he embraced the way of the old Jedi, you see!
It went over your head because it wasn't spelled out for you directly in a little epilogue moral lesson. He held onto his attachments, because while they can be a weakness, they are just as much a strength.
>No, he didn't. He embraced them.
No. He states pretty plainly, "I am a Jedi. Like my father before me." That second statement, "like my father" is the important part. Not "like Obi Wan", not "like Master Yoda". "Like my father".
It's a statement of unconditional love, compassion and filial piety that Jedi dogma would balk at. And it carries a deeper meaning, in that Anakin/Vader was someone who "fell" from the Order. Yet despite that, this is the Jedi that Luke compares himself to, and aspires to be. Almost like nothing Anakin ever wanted was wrong, and the only reason he ever fell to begin with is because the Jedi Order's dogma and politics drove him into a corner.
Luke also throws away his lightsaber in this scene. Remember this is before the prequels where everyone and their dog has a fricking lightsaber. Here it is strictly a "Jedi weapon", as Palpatine states, and the only reason Vader has one is because he was once a Jedi himself. Luke throws this away, this ultimate symbol of a Jedi. This is in stark contrast to his statement "I am a Jedi", at least seemingly. One can view the lightsaber as the ultimate symbol of Jedi hypocrisy. It is a "peacemaker", a weapon designed to bring about peace. But no weapon can ever be used "peacefully". He's also abandoning his imperative as a Jedi to destroy the dark side and save the galaxy from a doom of darkness and evil, in the hope that he might save his father.
In throwing away the lightsaber, Luke throws away the dogma, pretensions and hypocrisy of the Jedi Order.
In saying "I am a Jedi", Luke states that despite the aforementioned, he has not abandoned the teachings of Obi Wan and Yoda, the ideals and the inherent good that the Jedi stood for.
And in adding "Like my father before me", Luke is saying that he is not beholden to the past, and will walk his own path. Even if his father did fall because of love, he will not. Not because he will deny love, but because of his own inner strength and character.
Wrong. Nice head-canon, but Lucas says otherwise.
moron.
Lucas has said plenty of moronic things, he isn't the fricking divine prophet who's every word we need to give a shit about.
Imagine actually using your own brain for once.
He is, when it comes to Star Wars - he is the creator. Your interpretation is wrong and misguided, and you'll have to accept that.
>he is the creator
Which literally doesn't mean shit, especially since he's sold his own creation to the mouse
Holy bootlicking Batman, are you a fricking commie?
Our holy venerable divine creator sold his precious treasure to the israelites at Disney.
His opinion has exactly as much worth as I give it.
Maybe one day you can activate your brain and come to a conclusion all by yourself.
Anon, the bare and honest truth about George Lucas is that people kept asking him questions about shit he hadn't bothered to think about, so he rambled some bullshit off the top of his head, Star Wars is literally full of retcons because of this.
Don't care moron. Lucas can dictate stupid shit like the inner workings of the universe he created, midichlorians and all the other stupid puerile nonsense. He cannot dictate morality and psychology, which exist independently of his work, thus he cannot dictate interpretations of the morality and psychology within his work.
The fact that both you and he think you can just say "The Jedi are good and just because I say so", and that makes it so, speaks volumes about how inherently flawed, arrogant and hypocritical the Jedi are.
Also, I really don't believe this is true. Especially in the prequel films, where Lucas was more of an auteur than ever, there are way too many things that point the audience to believing that the Jedi are in some way flawed, wrong on some level, and that their order and philosophy need to be reexamined. It's the whole reason Obi Wan and Yoda are implied to have gone into hiding for. "We failed, and we need someone who is stronger than us (morally and in character, not in midichlorian count) and not held down by all our pretensions and trappings to succeed where we could not". Maybe George is moronic, and just put all that shit in unwittingly, but I don't want to believe that's the case.
>just regular romance bullshit
You realize you can shit on anything by being disingenuous, right?
>just regular family drama crap
Luke married Mara Jade in the EU, George just has weird ideas about romance
it wasn't a day
Bastila struggled with resisting the dark side the whole game. Her arc was going from suppression at sticking to rigid rules, to excess once breaking them, to completeness at feeling the spirit of the rules with love.
first time i see a woman without some headgarb
is the naked head meant to be kinky for twileks?
From what I have heard, yes. Bare head for Twi'leks is like going commando in a mini-skirt.
>My big juicy breasts keep every man around docile, I'm sure of i-ACK
>He didn't leave the crew sans Mission on the hideout on Taris while fricking her in the Lower City after making sure there were no witnesses

What planet/species has the best pretzels, do you think
Coruscant
Surely their specialty is the the croissant
>Not fried youngling
That's the Sith Lord specialty
The Jedi specialty is Sith Lords
And she was a good friend.
They really, really really need to make a Star Wars game where you can impregnate a Togruta.

post pics of pregnant Togruta
unfortunately, I cannot
you don't wanna know about anything post-nut
frick off with these disgusting abominations spawned under Yidney
That was spawned under Lucas, actually
Didn't that goblin appear after the buyout?
No that's like from season 3 or 4
fricking Filoni
pretzels lie! they manipulate!
Corellians, the setting loves sucking them off, so I don't doubt for a second they have the best of anything.
So does KOTOR1 run through Steam decently or is it busted? I picked it up a while ago when it was really cheap apparently
It runs but you need a patch for widescreen support. Check out the kotor page on pcgamingwiki.
Alright thanks anon

>tfw you realize Sidious and Rey are basically Bison and Rose
Hackery
>you are on this council
>but we do not grant you the gender of woman
I can imagine Palpatine doing a Risitas remembering how fricking stupid the Jedi were by ostracizing a single Jedi, one strong in the Force and with issues at that, out of everyone just because one Master said he was the 'chosen one', basically giving him more and more reasons to betray their asses.
>boot up 2 on the switch

wow they didn't even try
What are the approved SW Gankeridya? This thread is really scratching my itch.
I had a demo/full game of The Phantom Menace (1999, PS1) but it was confusing and got terrified after falling into a fan at the start and getting dismembered.
Later on I had a demo disc of Lego Star Wars: The Video Game (2005, PS2). It was really fun but never bought the full game.
These KOTOR threads and old EU content are very interesting tbh. Should I emulate xbox or is the PC version the way to go? Also which other games are pretty good and not sequel trilogy-tier shite?
classic battlefronts, lego games (very IF when it comes to Skywalker Saga), Republic Commando and Empire at War
Thanks anons. I'm glad they're all on PC. Things are going to be easier than expected
KOTOR 1 & 2 (stay away from TOR)
Jedi Knight series
Republic Commando
Battlefront 1 & 2 (pre-Disney)
Empire at War
Rebellion
TIE Fighter
Forgot about the Episode III tie-in game, that one was fantastic
Is that the one with the amusing alternate ending? I've heard praises of that one.
Also, is there any definite versions for the ones mentioned as well as
?
I'm concerned about accidentally getting a bad port or inferior version.
>any definite versions
Honestly dunno, but for KOTOR2, TSLRCM mod is a must.
Also, be sure to download the HD mod for K1, if you're triggered by 3:4 that is.
Did anyone else read the Tales of the Jedi comics from the 90s? I’m honestly disappointed how there are so many KOTOR fans that don’t know about Exar Kun/Ulic Qel-Droma or the Great Hyperspace War. After all, those comics were the inspiration for the video game.
Kind of hate how even in the games Exar Kun is a trivial footnote that no one other than Jolee brings up. Dude nearly crushed the Republic 40 years before the start of the series
>Did anyone else read the Tales of the Jedi comics from the 90s?
I have and it fills my soul with joy when people remember them
>those comics were the inspiration for the video game.
More like, KOTORs were the literal sequels to TotJ, but I'm honestly glad they didn't keep the aesthetics of the comic book series and instead opted for more classic SW look.
>even in the games Exar Kun is a trivial footnote
Have you played K2? Exar Kun gets mentioned quite a lot by many characters in game
ACHUTA
Echuta
How come Aspyr has not yet released a widescreen patch for 1 like they have with 2?
