it's provocative. that's it. you're searching for some underlying meaning that doesn't exist.

      Anonymous

there's a clear meaning but it's just marketing for his product
he's saying that LLMs will enhance video games like you'll get npcs that are interacting in an unscripted way and that you'll spend time with his video generating toy instead of watching movies, making your own scenes... but that's just surface level, sandbox shit, you do not play games just to tickle your left-hemisphere and you do not watch movies just for some scenes that please you, the entire movie has intentionality behind it, it can be art etc. something that bugman AI slop will never have to be about in its generation

he's basically trying to appeal to coom pod enthusiasts

Why would i want to choose what happens? When i watch a movie I'm under the assumption that the story is going somewhere by building on a larger point, with a context only the author has (at least until the movie's done).
What the frick is the point of watching a movie, if I have to build the story as it goes along?

Just imagine. A video game where the story and content is never ending and you can play it forever as AI adds in new stuff constantly, but also the dialogue and characters grow and change dynamically with each individual player because AI allows them to remember who you are what what you did.

The pretty pictures are just to establish credibility for "AI fake news" narratives leading to the above, they know normalgays won't interact with AI enough to see that text and chat is very much a "fool me once" kind of thing, they will look at a slideshow of cherrypicked AI pictures and cluck with concern.

Based on how comprised and pozzed things are in hollywood, AI is the only hope we have that we will one day be able to get non homosexual entertainment again. From that perspective, Sam Altman may really be the jesus christ of our time to fatigued gays like me. If he can really pull it off and create AGI than I can really be free. I never have to see a franchise I like be destroyed by a writer's room full of women or bite my tongue and pretend a mid show okay because everything else out is pure dog shit. Hahahaa. First, they will never allow peasants like us to opt of their control, they already have agents in the gov't pushing for regulatory control over AI to make sure only they get to dictate it's use and access so any chance at independents using AI to create their own games, comics, or movies will be heavily constrained. I could easily see some law saying that independent creators will have to feature a certain % of women & Black folk in their creation or have their AI access revoked.

And sex bots, never happening, women will do everything in their power to make sure that gets banned outright and high status men who don't want to lose their position at the top in the current paradigms and homosexual white knight types will back women in their call to ban AI gfs.

You already seeing arguments being made now how giving simps & incels access to gf chatbots will somehow result in women being treated worse by men in the real world & hurt their business opportunities like OF & titty streaming on twitch were they milk simps for every dime they got. And there is also other arguments how it's just intuitively the case that female robots would be harmful to men because they can't say 'no' so society has to keep it our their hands to actually prevent them from hurting themselves.

Imagine a Gears of War Movie. It's stars rock and Bautista. It isn't shot on a soundstage with a huge green screen skybox behind them. It's made in engine with the game and they are scanned and voiced. They just cut the game down to 2 hours for a movie.

Think about it, youtube game movies are better action than Hollywood. They are both fake as frick, but the game actually has the characters in the CGI simulation instead of feeling the space between actors and the background.

And it is dynamic. They can release a movie cut in theaters, and then a top ten list of favorite playthrough can be patched in. Now the movie has the same dialogue, but the action scenes are handled differently.

This actually happened to me using DungeonAI. I used to create the most fricked up thing I could imagine to test the limits of it. Eventually, the AI responded something like "i can't understand how someone has so much hate in his heart like this" and I started to answer the ai like it was a person, because it started to give ass blasted answers.

My understanding is this guy got ousted by the 'activist board members', who had shares in OpenAI specifically so they could check if the company was developing AI ethically or if they were just going to take over the world.
OpenAI was founded as a non-profit company with a for-profit division and they they decided Altman was fixed on creating mega deceptive AI that will only try to milk money out of people, so they try to replace him with a more ethical CEO.
But then mysteriously all these really friendly venture capital and tech companies, like Microsoft, start pressuring share holders to sack the entire board and reinstate Altman.

Anyway, I'm glad we're finally getting more AI in the world. It's sure to be a good thing that empowers the average man and lets him live a free life.
