There is not a single positive comment about Gaiden's dub, which is pretty funny. I will give the English dub credit for ONE thing and only one thing. Even with the autotune, Zhao's new karaoke song is unironically better in English compared to the Japanese version

It's pretty hard not to spoil what happens in the game since the whole thing just ends up being an explanation of how Kiryu got to Watase's conference in Yakuza 7. The only thing we didn't already know was what Kiryu was up to before then, which is what you see in Gaiden's basic premise.
