Opinions on PGR (Punishing Gray Raven)?
Well one is an open world game and one is an action game.
I prefer action games too.
Genshin is an action game.
I played at launch, liked the gameplay but it had problems where the global release charged more for gacha currency (even after exchange) but gave less actual currency compared to CN/JP. And had reduced 'new player' rewards. Devs response were basically "deal with it" so I just dropped the game.

No idea, haven't played PRG since that shitshow happened. Also the 'new player' questline gave out a character skin (that no one wanted) instead of gem currency like other servers got. "But you get a free skin!" No we didnt, you replaced the gems with a skin, you basically just forced us to buy a skin.

they never did anything like that again, since then if they gave us anything, it was on top of the black cards.
Gameplay is cool, the problem is the way the gacha is setup. Every f2p account will have the exact same teams with the exact same equipments because there's no real choice to make, you need every new character that comes out for the next 2 years. It makes it boring because there's no strategizing resources or account specialization choices, everybody's the same as everybody else.
Good game but I don't like "bonsai" games. I like to dig into the game and spend a lot of time doing many things. PGR isn't designed for people like me, you can do a few dailies, some event stages and quit for the day.
Anyway this game is one of the good choices for f2p folk.
Best mobile action game hands down. Superb soundtrack and very polished. If you like AAA quality for free then this is the game for you.

I didn't like it. I thought it had a lot of style and speed, but things get boring fast, and the clunky controls don't exactly help.
Why everything is so GRAY?
When I'm on google translated JP websites this game often gets translated as Punishing Gray Rape.
I only played it because of the doujin of Sofia getting raped by a horse, and then she wasn't out at launch so I dropped it.
to many buttons on screen that pop up. the first boss battle seems like its a bit much given i need to look at the right side of the screen and bottom to know when i can hit new buttons to do ore damage
its doing everything it can to avoid the fact that for attacks only 2 buttons are ever needed if the developers werent moronic

had a really funky start, but outside of that hasn't really done anything to make things worse for global players.
it's a pretty good action game and it's pretty easy to be f2p.
