buying a prebuilt means you have to ship the entire system if one part is broken.
if wrongful installation of parts doesn't kill your pc, gpu sag will. should have just bought a console

I put plastic tube between the farside of the gpu and the psu shroud to keep it suspended. GPU sag has been a problem for literal autists.

I paid for the guy at microcenter to build my pc for me, despite having built my own pc’s in the past, simply because the 100 or 150 was worth it for me not to have to worry about it, deal with the project over a full afternoon, troubleshoot stuff, or deal with clean cable management. Dont like it? Too bad. I exchanged money for goods and services which is my right as an AMERICAN

it really is so much easier than it used to be. motherboards are much more streamlined and instructions are better written. there are fewer finnicky components and even cable management is easier.
Which brands have the best customer service? as in who's gonna give me a refund/RMA/replace my fried components if anything goes wrong?
gonna be buying a new PSU soon.
i watched some pre-built brand reviews and the only ones with good customer service are the outlandishly priced ones like Origins and Digital Storm with the absolute worst service being Dell

nah you can easily get equivalent builds to the average prebuild for 10% less even if its not like a decade ago where prebuilts would have extreme markups and put gtx 460s into 2000 dollar machines.
