Have you ever had a game you loved killed? I hate the concept of dead games, but can't actually think of a time it affected me personally. I guess I just have a natural aversion to live service shit.
I generally stay away from MP games, so no. One that's close to my heart is TF2 and it's in a bad shape, but not dead. But I do play a mobile game that I know will die.
There is a couple of mmo's that have died over the years that i loved but beyond that not really.
I do worry that games like Rayman Legends on PC will be unplayable in some future whenever Ubisoft decides to axe services
My only pain is for Gigantic, game had such love from their devs as much as got badly managed by all their publishers before shutting down.

I liked original diablo 3 with auction house or path of exile before the powercreep meta but that's gone forever since those are online only games. Now those game aren't technically dead but they are to me because I can't play them like they used to, with diablo 2 for example I can always play 1.09 patch but no such luck with online only clones, you play the latest patch or you don't play at all.
This is why if a game requires me to connect to a server I just don't bother it's only a setup for future disappointment.
