The frick is this survival horror bullshit? If you do it on the intended difficutly, the owls zoom onto your location on the smallest shred of light, if you play it on baby pussy mode then they just don't do anything pretty much, there's no "just right" difficutly
Also getting really tired of every single loop starting with
>get in ship
>fly to stranger
>get on raft
>navigate to hidden canyon
>go up elevator
>get latern
>NOW you can do whatever you actually wanted to do
there must be a more accessible one I just haven't found yet but the past like 10 cycles I've done are all like this

Forced soul: the video game
tf does that even mean
idk on god
>If you do it on the intended difficutly, the owls zoom onto your location on the smallest shred of light
Sounds like skill issue to me.
>getting really tired of every single loop
>there must be a more accessible one I just haven't found yet
There is no other way. And it takes only a minute to get there
>And it takes only a minute to get there
maybe once you're on the stranger, but from loop start to getting the latern you've definitely wasted a few minutes already. it's tedious
There's an artifact like 5 feet from the entrance at that destroyed shack, it definitely doesn't take more than a minute.
yeah i found that but couldn't get in til after the dam breaks because of the ghost matter. maybe i'm moronic and there is some angle in i didn't see
Here's a hint, there is already a watery path in.
yeah you're tarded and need to be handheld because you miss obvious shit, fricking tard
>entire game is about finding info for how to get past obstacles
>find an obstacle
>instead of trying to find more info, bash head on obstacle for 5 hours
op confirmed filtered
idk, is there a smarter way of doing this? they clearly put enough effort into these encounters, enough that they had to put in an easy mode. if there's some backdoor where i can just skip then them that would be even worse. one on the bridge is fine, its that b***h on the second floor with all of the screen doors that was terrible because there is so much shit to run into
and don't give me that "just memorize that layout when the lights are on" bullshit, you can still run into them in the dark
massive massive spoiler for spoonfeeding
big spoiler for moron babies who don't want to explore on their own
your a baby, drop the lamp, your a baby
actual spoiler
how does that help, the specific sequence i was on needed the lamp so i could turn on a bridge. or is the bridge on when i go into matrix mode?
holy shit
how are you still struggling after finding matrix
i haven't done another zone yet, that was the first one i did. was just assuming there's more and i don't see how the matrix shit helps if i still need the latern for shit like using the projectors
>how are you still struggling after finding
100% he didn't even find it but read spoilers, actual mongoloid, it's that schizo who constantly posts obnoxious threads too
didn't read spoilers. got to the part where there are three pictures of three locations in the dark world. went to the one that was closest to the gorge because i've been getting lanterns there every loop, got filtered by owls so i put it on baby easy mode. said all of this in the OP m8. maybe i was "supposed" to get filtered by this one and do the other two first to learn the mechanic better or something, idk, but it was more frustrating than anyhting in the base game
*pics are of light world not dark world, whatever
you not only missed the obvious way to the first artifact, you also missed the hidden shortcut to the hidden gorge
that encounter you complained about is probably the only one that can be deemed frustrating, so the worst is behind you, and there is in fact a way of smartly dealing with them, you haven't thought of it but it exists that's all I'll tell you
now frick off and stop reading this thread until you finished it
>that encounter you complained about is probably the only one that can be deemed frustrating
ok thanks, hearing that restored my will to finish
It's been awhile since I played so I don't remember exactly what they are, but yes, there are ways to mostly skip the stealth sections, and you won't be cheesing it, these methods are intentionally included, but it will require some thinking outside the box.
Shut up and run on the wheel you hamster brained muppet.
git gud
>owls zoom onto your location on the smallest shred of light
This is the intended difficulty. Git gud the whole game is about gitting gud, how could you not have figured that out yet? gitgud at gitting gud.
>Uwaaaaa it's a walking simulator
>Uwaaaaa it's too difficult actually
/v/...
Yeah the dark stealth sections are garbage and the looping gets really old in Echoes. It's cool and all, it just should have been a new scenario, not added into the base game.
1. FILTERED
2. GET OUT OR YOU WILL GET SPOILERED moron
I watched somebody on youtube beat the game and dlc so I consider myself an expert
dam, that's actually kind of sad. i wish i could wipe my memory and play the game a second time but you wont even be able to ever appreciate a first playthrough
Yeah they're bullshit, you pretty much have to bait them out so they aren't standing directly in the middle of the path you have to take.
