While it is far outside the realm of things he would be discussing, consider if Piracy existed in the Fujiyabashi-verse (which, it does in ToTK, see: the auto build ability, but hes not in that game so that's aside the point.)
You might argue that, since Kass is a musician, he would be against piracy on the grounds that he wouldn't want his work stolen. On the contrary, Kass frequently and almost exclusively plays music that was made by other people throughout the course of BotW. Now this doesn't lean all the way into piracy territory, but it does lean more copyleft than copyright. Further, if Kass was aware of Nintendo's behavior surrounding their derivative works, he would likely find it appalling. Not to mention, Kass values knowledge, and it wouldn't be a stretch to say he values the freedom of access to that knowledge as he has the privilege to travel the world via flight.
Now, Kass is a well educated individual, and an agent of the Sheikah, so he may be aware of the macroeconomic and ethical dilemma's surrounding piracy, and be against it for that reason. I'm sure he could be compelled either way based on that. However, at the end of the day, I think that Kass would say this simply because his wife feels this way about it, and he understands Nintendo has inflicted a significant amount of long-lasting suffering for some of their decisions and behaviors, so he would say it simply to be supportive, because he's a loving and compassionate husband.
