this shit was brilliant and it happens when you’re the most invested into the game, too. i thought my disc fricked up and was so confused for a good five seconds.
Some people really hate the open world for some reason, even though you can ignore most of it and at worst have to spend 5 minutes crossing it to get to the next dungeon.
City is superior all around. Imagine going back to the barebones combat system of Asylum after experiencing City with all the cool new gadgets. The Asylum is also lacking in visual diversity. After being there for a couple of hours the visual monotony gets to you. The Scarecrow 4th wall breaks are the only thing Asylum has over City.
>Rocksteady makes 3 amazing games in the span of 6 years. >8 years after Arkham Knight and they still haven't released anything else, and their only announced game looks like absolute trash
I was fairly hyped for Suicide Squad when they just showed the cutscene trailers. The performance capture is some of the best I've ever seen. I thought that the worst we could hope for was something like Guardians of the Galaxy, i.e. a mediocre linear slog where you listen to the hilarious banter as you journey to the next arena where you spam abilities to defeat the mob of 10 identical damage sponge enemies. My heart was broken and shattered when I saw the gameplay trailers, it was so much worse than I could have imagined.
This game was such overrated consolized cinematic trash for morons, holy shit.
Atmosphere was nice in places but other than that it had absolutely NOTHING going for it.
I enjoyed this game a frickload and I hear there's rumours of an RTX remaster
I'm almost scared to replay it in case it's not as good as I remember.
The remaster we already have is inferior because of fricked lighting, RTX version would be even worse.
I was about to ask in this thread. If my only choice is the 360 game or Xbone collection surely the collection is better right?
they are fine
what were they thinking?
>Yes sar indeed I can be doing the remaster for you, we will be doing it very cheap for you sar
>he didn't use the middle stick to dodge
I'm glad to have experienced this part without spoilers
bravo to the devs

City is superior in every single way, unless you really like the story in Asylum for whatever reason

nostalgia makes the first one the best for me
Is there a lore reason? Is he stupid?

and I meant to say, the extra development time can't fix this. It's not going to be good.
>a mediocre linear slog where you listen to the hilarious banter
lol bro do you write for kotaku
why do you ask?
cause you write like a homosexual
I disagree, because I'm not a homosexual so I don't write like one

>Absolutely NOTHING going for it
Is that why games are still copying it's combat system to this day?
Everyone is copying Dark Souls these days
DC>Marvel
>suicide squad kills the justice league is set in the arkham verse
>looks gay and moronic
>
>multiplat outsells an exclusive
HOLY SHIT
>exclusive
also on PC
