Dash is unlocked at 5 reflex, air dashing at 13 iirc, for going faster than the cars you need the full 20 reflex for infinite stamina when air dashing.

You would have to be skipping all dialogue, not bothering with much item / cyberware management, done zero side quests or gigs, and played relatively efficiently to get anywhere near the originally-claimed 4 hours.

Night City and the entire world of CP has so much lore already from the tabletop and then they went out of their way to hire music artists to create fictional versions of themselves and write music as if they lived in night city. I'm playing it through the first time right now after finally upgrading my PC and honestly it's kinda average. Feels like your typical open world GTA clone but with RPG mechanics. Nothing you do in the quests really matter aside from like flavor texts and the main story is eh. I feel like CDPR really bet on the player liking Johnny enough to sympathize, but if you don't gel with him then it's whatever. Like the prologue feels almost entirely different from the rest of the game with the theme "make a name for yourself in night city and go out blazing" being haphazardly replaced with "try to get this chip out of your head and survive". There's also a frickton of glitches like NPCs and vehicles spawning and despawning out of thing air and more gamebreaking ones like dialogue being frozen or NPCs becoming uninteractable. I'm on 2.1 and really thought these would be fixed, but they happen enough to consistently take me out of the immersion.
That said I just started the DLC since everyone told me to do it right before the Arasaka Tower quest so I have hopes it'll be written better by being smaller and self-contained so we'll see. But if nothing changes then it'll be a 7/10 game for me.

I feel like I played this game wrong. I beat it but without using any hacking/disabling my opponents. Soon as I could I did enough side missions till I had enough money for a Sandavistan, dumped all my stats into Body and Cool, grapped a katana and went full on ninja mode. Never really used guns or strategy even, just hop into room and throw a knife at everyone's head until they sound the alarm then go Raiden on everyone
This is perfectly reasonable way to do it and I also ran the whole game with blades and cool. It was gamebreaking after I'd gained some levels, I just ran around slicing up everything with no problem whatsoever. Never hacked once.

After 2.0 i dont see the point of blades anymore. Blunt weapon perks are very powerful and funny, tbh, and being able to crow control by smashing the floor saves a ton of time with mobs

The gameplay is fine, elevated to good with 2.0, but it's also totally trivial to beat anything. After first I was confused on why Jacky was always eating every chance he got, and complaining about how long you took to reach him and that he got hungry just waiting.
Then I realized he was keeping up his nutrition and hydration buffs to be optimal in combat, and how important that health and stamina regen are at almost every stage of the game.
The two most overpowered vidya protagonists I can think of are the main character in VTMB, who goes from a punk eating rats and biting hobos to killing demigods, and the Nerevarine, who basically does the same. In Morrowind you start the game as some guy and within a couple of in-game weeks you can be wielding heavenly artifacts while flying around at 100mph with enough strength to kill ancient deities and wizards, and that's without using exploits.

My favourite part of deus ex was the glorified cutscene of a chase where you can't do anything and your bullets do nothing because it'd make it less cinematic. I also really liked being dropped into another tedious mission after completing the tedious lifepath bit. 10/10 witcher 3 eat your heart out.

I can understand people saying that Cyberpunk isn’t an RPG. What I can’t understand is saying that Cyberpunk isn’t an RPG while saying The Witcher games ARE RPGs. You have far more freedom in how your make your character function in Cyberpunk than you do in Witcher. It is, without question, more of an RPG than The Witcher 2 and 3.
