I'm genuinely just curious to hear what others say about it that's all, that's why I didn't put any coom thumbnail.
They took away the abundance of shields, which is the correct choice, but now there's just a moronic amount of damage that is just left untouched that was originally intended for destroying said shields. What the game is now, isn't so much chokepoint-y but pretty much a dps frick fest where teams are defined by their dps' to preform. That alone isn't a terrible idea but knowing the playerbase of OW, their gonna complain about why my support can't frag better.
shields were ok, they just needed to absorb only part of the damage + allow low speed ammo to pass through it (like ana's darts)
Shields were terrible. It created an insufferable gameplay loop of "who could cushion the most damage with red/blue tinted shieldds for the longest while we wait for ults to come up. There is nothing particularly interesting shooting at a shield. It does not require though.
