The first game was fine, it's probably the first game I've played where dialogue fits with the action and adjusts in real time with whatever the frick you are doing.
Yeah it took some getting used to really, and to be honest I still dislike that I basically always had to interrupt whoever I was talking to or risk not saying anything at all.

There were things to like in LiS1. The problem is that the official forms only cared about lesbian shipping the two lead characters despite Chloe being a fricking awful friend let along girlfriend, and you can see how some writing was changed in Chapter 5 to accommodate this by doing weird shit like vilifying the completely harmless Warren in Max's dream sequence
I really liked Oxenfree 1. Think it's the best of the "narrative-focussed choices matter story about quirky college students have a slice of life adventure that gets derailed by supernatural shit" genre. So even with Netflix publishing it, I'll still get this.

The Twin Peaksy ambiance of a town full of mysteries and secret occulty shits. But the authors in truth just wanted to remake the goonies.
