Broncherry and Kingpaca has 100, Wumpo has 120. Compressing carry weight Pals (the stars) increase it by 10 irrc. Wumpo caps at 160.

It probably depends on exploration or fighting a boss, but the mandatory staple should be a good mount to get you from point A to point B in no time, flying mounts are pretty good but i'm fond of grounded mounts but mostly because i get to see shit, i hope Palworld makes flying pals something that actually fricking flies and picks up fights even if you're soaring at mach 3 with Jetragon in the endgame.

I mean at that point, its on you for being a moron - especially when the game provides single-player and private server options.
It depends how they release the content as well.
If it's like minor content updates introducing only 1-2 QOL features or a couple new pals, the game's longevity will still fall short.
Honestly, they need to release a major content update within the next 5-8 months to a year if they want to retain their player base numbers, or hope of instilling any kind of longevity to their game (new zone/island, 25+ pals, base-building overhaul, dungeon overhaul, massive combat & AI improvements, pathing overhaul, 20+ new tech tree upgrades, level cap moved to 60-70; things like that.)
I feel like the big content updates will come with a new island map to explore.
First major map island update will likely be the big tree, but who knows. Personally I'm looking forward to the giant flying city from one of the trailers - assuming it's still a thing that hasn't been scrapped.
Honesty I would prefer if they several revamped each of the alternative starting island with level design on par with the default area and completely different starting pals.
The "main" first area is really well done, but the 3 others scream "done in 5 minutes to experiment with Unreal's terrain painting tool".
And having 3-4 actually different starting area would help a ton with replayability.
I would rather have this first before new area content too. It wouldn't be too hard to make those starting places into something much more interesting.

While a large chunk of the map is fairly well-designed, there's still a ton of areas that feel rushed and rough around the edges. The entire desert island area is just bad and comes off as a last-minute map addition, for example.

Elemental Buff rank 1 is 10%, rank 5 is 20%. This is only to allied Pals and not the player. Gobfin has the same numbers but applied to the player and not Pals.

I find Ignis Rage missing a lot more then Seed Mine. I wouldn't say either of those are the strongest move, just very situational. Seed Mine is very reliable DPS and Ivy status application though. I think Fireball is more reliable than Ignis Rage.

It only shows up in Frostbound Mountains at night. On top of this, it's an uncommon spawn. I've seen a few in the wild, curiously they don't aggro unless you attack them.
Go to lily's tower, wait until night, and they should be everywhere.

I never caught many so didn't notice. Wouldn't surprise me however, and I always wondered what the point of some of the boss spawns there was beyond just bloating the pool. Like you can get two boss azurobes and breed a normal one. So its not like you need one from the sanctuary.
I pick whoever has the highest attack passive then by style.

Don't be a baby, they are way easier to make than red spheres. Pal ingots are dirt cheap, they just take some time to smelt if you don't have a jormuntide ignis.

The tooltip on the sphere tells you its capture power. For greens the capture power is 14. Don't use blues for 14 and above.
If you're playing single player just change the world options to 2x capture chance.
Legendary Spheres are piss to make. I have used them on low levels when feeling lazy.
Blues fall off at lv 8-10. They are trash. The game doesn't tell you this but the balls are level bracket based. It's not like Pokemon where you can catch a legendary in a basic Pokeball. You can manage a good chunk of the game with Gigspheres, until the volcano and desert. Turn in your Effigies, level up and weaken things.

Also player work speed secretly buffs your odds without showing it on the percentage. Can't really say how much but 19 points invested with 4x motivational leaders is giving me much better odds than just Lifmunk statues, but the statues are worth collecting and insanely easy to max out.

I dislike how the lucky/alpha size never breeds down. In most cases it's useless because the frickhuge size fricks up pathfinding and makes their hitbox a massive target, but I want an alpha Frostallion Noct for the massive alpha healthpool and minor speed increase. I'm going to save edit one to alpha after I've finished breeding the passives I want onto one.

Stand on a cliff, blast with rocket launcher, when it shoots at you run back out of the way. You can solo all of them that way but Jetragon is the biggest pussy. The two megaman centaurs are the hardest because there are two and you have to use the treetops instead of a cliff.

Honestly, If I didn't need a place to get coal I would just have a spare base and use it as a portable pal box. That way I could switch my actual team and """HM Slaves""".
It's honestly faster to have that one portable fast travel in the endgame for mining too. One 4* Astegon with an AOE skill can instamine an entire plateu of ore/coal for you with the only drawback being how you get it all home, which is best done with the spare palbox. Raise one Astegon. Find a few favorite ore/coal hotspots. Blast it all. Build a palbox. And fast travel it back home.
I never felt the need to make a base for coal. I just mine coal occasionally in dungeons or in the volcano area near a teleport.
Once you hit 44 you dont even need coal anymore
There's a hill near Anubis that has 8 coal veins all clustered together. Drop a base there and go to down then remove it when you are done.
Did they bug out traits on some pals? Every single Relaxaurus I've caught has the Glutton trait.

Certain species of pals will ALWAYS spawn with one specific passive. Relaxasaurus will always have glutton. Loveander will always have Abnormal, Cattiva will always have Coward, etc.

I used the firefox for the first 35 levels or so for flame harness and had 3 fire buff pals to support him and he deleted bosses for me pretty easy. Now i have the firefox still, a flyer, the same ground mount i caught at the start (has swiftness and runner), and rotate the last 2 pals around for whatever i need, currently using the one that scans the area and sets pals on compass.

It's an abomination in every way. Hell its design is significantly worse than the pokemon its trying to knock off, and cinderace already has a shit design.
IMO, the only design in the game that needs to be completely scrapped. Granted there are other bad or bland pal designs, but they could use some slight revisions or touch-ups more than anything else.
I'm holding out hope that since the game is EA that they'll actually fix some of the designs for pals because this one is complete dogshit. So many better ways they could have done a grass bunny pal than that abomination
Seconding Verdash, it's really bad. Redesign it to be a Satyr, thematically that fits its ability set and animations. A hooved kick would really hurt, having a magical goat person increase your movespeed is also very much in-line thematically. Turn the ears into horns, rework the face and hands, add hooves and it should be mostly good to go then.
Kelpsea needs a rework too, but one anon did it by just making it a bit more seahorse like with a back fin. For that reason I feel Kelpsea is less urgent. Would still like a fix for Kelpsea since I think if I run any monotype, it'll be water.

I lucked into catching anubis with red ball and it has like double the power and double the range of tombats and afaik anubis is just 3 mining over tombats 2. I don't get why the difference is so huge, most skills don't seem to change in one level, just work faster
Mining and woodcutting have higher priority. If you want good handiworkers that will work your shaft at a moment's notice, then you either need to scrap the stone mine or hire Lunaris.

Yeah mining level matters for that, 2 can break ore but nothing above that which is why your tombats can't do coal.
Also the default level is the only thing that matters for that, if you max condensed a tombat it still wouldn't be able to break coal even though it would a mining level of 3 now.

i personally can recommend ice wind island northwest from anubis dune, it's low level, the raids there don't seem to happen for whatever the frick reason, it has a ton of flat space northeast and the said anubis dune is near so you can farm the pal oils

There is only one for each type as far as I am aware. Neutral might have two.

AFK in the farm until lv5-ish, then do dungeons. You might or might not care, but if you overlevel or skip levels Pals don't learn moves even when it says they do. Largely redundant with skill fruit, but you can miss signature moves. I'd recommend checking for signature moves and judging what level dungeon you tackle appropriately. Without doing this, my Lyleen Noct hit 40 in two days of casual play, without really grinding.
