I wouldn't say it's dogshit. It does a lot of good things that make it great. It's just that the UI and the camera needed a bit of polish
Nah man, craftopia is just jank and bad.
Prior to it's overhaul update, the game was this weird student project looking ass test game with varying levels of polish all over the place. Part of me suspects that the overhaul update was just palworld work mishmashed and shoehorned in with craftopia assests in order to give it a better look. Even now the game remains horribly unfinished with perks, animations, systems, and ages just not implemented.
Palworld looks fine, but I don't suspect it'll be nearly as good as the trailers make it look. If anything, I'm prepared for the absolute worst. I hope I'm wrong though.

the concept of a game killing another is just moronic, the implication that just because you can draw parallels between one game and the other means it will somehow syphon all of one games players is just plain ill conceived
there are enough people in the world with different tastes and opinions that both games can usually exist at the same time, but you will never cause a mass player exodus from game one, most people already entrenched will choose to stay, maybe play both, but very rarely move over.
