I don't think Palworld is going to lead into any less Pokemon sales. Nintendo might start worrying about Palworld if they actually manage to do profitable merchandising with toys, tie-ins and licensing deals, which is where most of Pokemon billions are.
Affecting the video game sales would affect the adoption rate of Nintendo consoles so it would be a bigger issue than that. It won't affect the video game sales though, nothing ever will
I don't know is this just me but I actually see no point in a new pokemon game (because it will be the same old junky shit thanks to gamefreak) and will not buy it.
Because they can't do anything about it. They didn't protect their IP in 2021 when the trailer showed up and now they're paying the price by letting this sneak up on them.
If by "Nintendo" you mean the person they hired to monitor youtube to look for copyright infringements.
No, Furukawa isn't searching for Palworld videos on youtube
>>"indie company" blatantly stealing their designs under the guise of inspiration and makes millions out of it
yeah enix was really chill with just letting pokemon steal their designs back in the day
Because they don't want Palworld taken down. They're happy it's humiliating GameFreak and are likely using it as leverage in backroom negotiations right now.
>mod with stolen assets >selling mod with stolen assets >promoting said mod via youtube >surprised they get C&D'd
wow, who could have seen that coming?
Everything in Palworld was created by them, from scratch. 'likeness' doesn't matter.
They have:
Original model mesh files they created.
Original bones/rigging they created.
Original textures they created.
Original animations for walking, idle, death and attacking for each monster that they created.
Original audio for each model they created.
It was going to be a paid mod.
>make mod of copyrighted billion dollar IP
>paywall it
Subscription sites were the downfall of modding, what happened to the old comments about mods back when Gaben tried to israelite his way into it?
They were just upset they didn't think of it first.

I would unironically by palbro plush toys just to spite nintendo
The dreambro would be a good plushie tho ngl

>illegal mods
>illegal youtube videos talking about mods
Copyright needs to die
Copyright is the right to copy. It's the law that attempts to prevent copyright.
It's trademark. Dude was selling the mod which infringed on TPCi trademark of Pokémon. Had he not paywalled it they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
They're also taking down any youtube videos mentioning the mod.
NOT /ourasmon/?
Now they've gone too far.
Because they can't do anything about it. They didn't protect their IP in 2021 when the trailer showed up and now they're paying the price by letting this sneak up on them.
because there are no pokemon in the game. hope that helps.
also deserved for being a cuck that paywalls a fricking pokemon mod. fricking morons. everyone knew this was gonna happen.

>Pokemon fan makes content expanding on their IP
>:(
>"indie company" blatantly stealing their designs under the guise of inspiration and makes millions out of it
🙂 no comment
Just do not call that content "Pokemon", it is that easy to avoid getting C&D'd.
Do you think they will refrain from commenting on individual cases?
they're not going to comment on court cases, moron. Plagiarism is different from fans doing hack shit.

None of that Dragon Quest artwork was traced and you know it. Direwolf and Verdash are the 3D model equivalent of tracing.
there is nothing illegal about making work that's inspired by another. Modders are directly ripping of their ip
Because they don't want Palworld taken down. They're happy it's humiliating GameFreak and are likely using it as leverage in backroom negotiations right now.
Keep dreaming, you just know they will release another Pokemon: Scarslop/Vislop soon
>Pokemon: Scarslop/Vislop
Scat/Vomit is good enough
>mod with stolen assets

>surprised they get C&D'd
wow, who could have seen that coming?
>Why can't they do the same with Palworld?
because they didn't break any laws stupid 9-year-old groomed homosexual
>thinks nintendo isn't building a case against them
Palworld doesn't contain any intellectual property, characters, or software produced by the pokemon company, gamefreak, or nintendo.
anyone got the mod?
Dont think its been released yet

There is literally _nothing_ Nintendo can do.
