Super is a tough case. Too RPG to be in the normal Mario list, not RPG enough to justify putting in the Paper Mario list. But it does have Paper Mario in the name, so it should be acknowledged by the appropriate list. Maybe not ranked, but noted at least.

I'd argue SMRPG LOTSS had aged kind of poorly, but for the rest of the M&L series, they mostly get worse with each passing game. It's just nonstop cutscenes, and nonstop tutorials, and nonstop minigames completely disjointed from the rest of the game and you'll never use again.

It's not Paper Mario, it's Super Paper Mario. It's a spin off/alternate take. Paper Mario died with Sticker Star, retroqctively blaming Super is incorrect. You can hate Super, but it is its own thing.

There's no use hoping for TTYD to come back, if your not a mental patient like pic related, you guys would realize that Paper Mario's current direction after ToK is the best it's ever been, for a lot of reasons that improved the originals, all we really need is an exp system and more original characters, which i think is easy for Tanabe to understand at that point.
Most people exposed how full of shit his interview of restrictions was when we have a bunch of other Mario spin offs making characters, even his own fricking game had a ton of them that were simply not Mario characters.
Either way, Paper Mario is a in good direction regardless of how much the Ring System filtered you, everything else was very well done
