I enjoyed Stellaris, but they clearly don’t give a frick about supporting it beyond shitty updates >you vill get no ground combat update and you vill like ze shitty ms office spreadsheet, yes?
>ck3 base game is better than ck2 base game
And why is this supposed to be how you run a competition? CK2 is fully released will all dlcs freely available for anyone who can operate a PC. CK3 is supposed to surpass that mark, that's what it's competing against, not some hypothetical base game CK2 release back in Paleozoic era
Stellaris got a lot of updates but they aren't fixing the fundamental issues such as poor late-game performance and that still kinda riles people up because you need a high-end CPU to play the game at a decent speed after about 100 in-game years in.
And they're determined to ruin HOI4 with each new update + dlc. Who cares about the international market? Why was half of south america given a dlc but not germany or japan? Why hasn't the japanese ai been fixed so that it can actually take all of China?
I like the game so far, despite its looks it's not actually Civilization 6, it has some elements from Civilization such as barbarians and stuff but that's it.
So far the biggest criticisms I've seen of it were how others rushing through the ages dictate the ages for everyone, probably meant to be player-centered AKA the player gets to dictate the ages but it just means some AI empire or another is in charge of that while the player is researching all of the era's techs, and how the AI can be needlessly aggressive.
It feels early access but it's overall pretty nice from what I've played so far. 4X certainly needs a shake-up, the last Civilization game was released more than 7 years ago and Humankind didn't work out as something to budge Civilization 6 out of the throne, despite Civilization 6 being a bad game.
A bit but I didn't play much beyond the tutorial, I should try it again sometime, I really liked what I've seen of it because it also aimed to fix issues that were pretty common to 4X games in general, such as requiring a limited resource that refreshes each turn in order to both move military units and perform domestic improvements, or having preset locations for colonization to avoid forward-settling shenanigans. The only thing I didn't like much about it was how short the game would feel in the grand scheme of things because it doesn't progress past the classical times, but that's just because I'm used to Civilization and space games. I really liked Empire Earth though but that's an RTS.
>worse graphics than Civ5 >worse gameplay than Civ4 >does absolutely nothing we haven't seen in this genere thus far
This game had no fricking chance
like, who the frick at Paradox approved of this? It looks like an indie kickstarter project
Its a shitty hex Civ clone made in an engine that supports provinces and other stuff from EU4 and stellaris but only uses some of it so its mishmash of game mechanics from grand strategy and turb based 4x...
>paradox israelites you out of every possible dime, makes shit content for god knows how long by this point >people still give them cash
what gives? there's some people who dish out thousands for paradox DLC
What's up with the price tag? I was going to pick it up thinking it would be literally half the price it ended up being now I'm literally never going to buy it out of anger.
To be fair, their idea of Ages that can evolve into something completely ahistorical like Victorian steampunk is pretty fricking neat and I'd actually like to see that in a proper Civilization 7.
Paradox hasn't released a good game since Hoi4
Well technically ck3 and cities Skyline count I guess
Nah both are terrible, and CK2 is better
I enjoyed Stellaris, but they clearly don’t give a frick about supporting it beyond shitty updates
>you vill get no ground combat update and you vill like ze shitty ms office spreadsheet, yes?
ck3 base game is better than ck2 base game you delusional Black person, tours and tournaments is the best piece of dlc ever made in the series too.
CK2 with all dlc>CK3
All CK3 does is take up more space
>ck3 base game is better than ck2 base game

Too much effort, just update the graphics (add ugly 3D models) and sell the redditors 100 DLCs all over again.
Eh, I'm looking forward to this Sims for males direction they're going for. It's a different game, not CK anymore, but I'll gladly pirate and play it.

>CS
No idea
>ck3
>good
Truly frogposters are moronic
>Paradox hasn't released a good game since Hoi4
Since 2013.
*ck2

Paradox games were never good

Have you tried the Old Word?

What? Civ VI came out like 2 years ago
Anon, I... I... I thought you were a GEP gun
Paradox is one the scummiest companies out there. Frick their shit
>t. assblasted Sid Meyer consoomer
it looks like a mobile game
No demo? So we just have to trust that their shitty civ clone is worth $60?
there was one during steamfest, wonder if they'll do it again
I'm a hoi4 modder, ama
1. Are you transgender or in the process of transitioning
2. How many hours do you have logged
3. If the answer to question 1 is no you are lying
1) no, but i am bisexual
2) 3462.8 hours
3) i'm not

And have you game development experiece or what experience?
>worse graphics than Civ5

why do the combat scenes look so cheap?
>game isnt even made by Paradox
>its even in the OP
>made by some shitty mobile company
>Ganker manchildren get mad with rage at paradox
Come on bros. I hate paradox (for their dlc policy and shitty online pass) too, but they literally didnt do anything this time.
It's made by people who worked on AoE1 and 2 IIRC.
Still, Paradox rushed them. Again. They keep doing that with their published games.
you must understand Johan needs the dosh cuz hes about to fix europa universalis once and for all
That image looks completely AI-generated. Is it just me?
No, does look AI-generated.
Concept sounds kino, what's wrong with the game?

How preachy, gay and lame it is?
I get HUMANkind shit vibes from it
No one answered this, not even discord troons.
Give it straight to me, how bad is the pozz?
I never played that, was it pozzed?
I've never played a single one of their games vanilla so I couldn't care less. Let me know once it gets some cool mods if ever.
What's up with the price tag? I was going to pick it up thinking it would be literally half the price it ended up being now I'm literally never going to buy it out of anger.
Here's my main question. Can I play without Black folk?
Depends on your definition of the word.
I guess I will have to look it up then. The defnition is of "without Black folk" is "there are no Black folk".
Is a person here with game dev experience?
I made some porno text adventures when I was in college. Does that count?
>They want $52 for the demo of a paradox game
I saw a video on it. It looks average but I like the idea of "Crisises" in a 4X setting.
To be fair, their idea of Ages that can evolve into something completely ahistorical like Victorian steampunk is pretty fricking neat and I'd actually like to see that in a proper Civilization 7.
