Where are the games?
>just dropped
no. it dropped hours ago. there were already threads about it.
frick off it's old news. get something new homosexual grandpa
>he was on Ganker hours ago
LOOOL WHAT A LOSER
Yakuza again?
is this what people are paying for now? A subscription to play games you don't own for as long as papa m$ says you're allowed per title? Are we in zombo-wombo land? Have we really reached the bottom floor of hell and started digging only to find another, exponentionally worse hell with an elevator straight to the absolute bottom of that? Its gone beyond tiresome. There is no hope, not even the absence of it, there is only a negative void filled with an infinite amount of compounding suffering where the further you look for reassurance the more the industry beats you into a monetized coma.
i'd rather pay $9.99 to play a single player game through in one month then cancel my sub than spend $60 on it and finish it in a month and never touch it again you over dramatic homosexual
t. useful idiot
kys israelite
None of those games are $60. The only ones worth buying are Yakuza and I'm pretty sure you can grab the entire collection for like $30.
I played red dead redemption 2 and monster hunter world trough gamepass, of course I bought them after I finished playing them because these games are worth buying, and I've played a lot of games for 1$ buck broken dollar some weren't Worth buying, but I played them for free
So yeah, I think gamepass is good
The problem is, that the save games are locked into the shitty xbox client. I will get a steam deck, so every pass game is a game that I cannot play on there.
There are more games than just the ones shown in the picture idiot. Those are just the ones they added this month.
Chekd
I think these morons think that the games showcased are the literally only games. PS+ can be blamed for that.
If that were the case then of course it would be fricking moronic to get a subscription to play eight games. Aren't there like over 150 games. A lot of the games I see Ganker talking about are on there.
>is this what people are paying for now? A subscription to play games
Yes.
renting games from selected range of games is in no way new concept. you're like 4 decades late you absolute underage homosexualron
>renting games from selected range of games is in no way new concept
Yes it is moron.
>too young to know what Blockbuster is
Maybe if you're from third world shithole like America. Game rental was never a thing and the fact it is now a thing it will kill video games.
>what is blockbuster
>what is gamefly
lol homosexual I've had GamePass since I got my Xbox in 2020. I've played more games than I ever have done in my life and it has cost me next to nothing.
Keep seething in irrelevance dumb child.
He's probably a snoyroach (they always are, we have no problems with nintenbros, and pcbabies can pirate games) that needs to pay $70 dollarinos + tip to play a shitty game
Game pass has easily saved me 300 bucks since January in single player games not to mention the abomination that is halo.
>is this what people are paying for now?
Well, I played DQ XI and the FFXII remaster when they were available, and recently Omori and the new TMNT game, there is no way I would've paid for those games to be honest. Also you have the bethesda games and EA
Yeah man, let's go back to the past when blockbuster was a thing and you'd pay the exact same amount to play 1 game for 5 days. Truly this is the zombo-wombo land.
Oh frick it’s Peppa Pig! At least Microsoft understands its Game Pass user base is mostly children.
Game pass is unironically a fantastic service for kids, I would have given anything to have had it when I was a kid. Yeah I used to rent games, but not every weekend, and half the time the one you wanted was checked out.
Ehh, I guess not a single think for me this month.
peppachads, ww@?
are these not old
>peppapig
YOOOOOO LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It's yakuza 0 a good starting point?
yes
yeah, the only "problem" is that is it also the best entry so you get to experience the peak first.
Good since I only want to play one.
I have no interest in any of those.
I'm enjoying Far Cry 5 though since that was added.
like a few weeks ago there were news about xbox servers breaking and stealing all people's games (or was it ubisoft??? same thing anyway)
are you guys really ok with this
PEPPA PIG? HOLY SHIT KINO
Gamepass has been pretty shitty this year t b h. We had megatons like AOE4, Halo, FH5, Ori, Flight sim, last year but this year frick nothing.
Phil spent all his money on Activision please understand
I use gamepass for almost everything and if a game isn't available there, I use gamefly. Most games aren't even worth half the asking price, so I rent them. Outside of games that I know I will be playing for a lot time, I either wait for gamepass/Gamefly or a sale. Buying most games are a scam anyway since you will probably play through them once.
DJMax is fricking amazing if it includes all the DLC. Sad about Last Call being the last Zachtronics game, hope it'll be a great one.
Why is it going to be the last one?
Zachary is retiring from vidya dev to become a programming teacher.
Ah, I see. A shame, but if it makes 'em happy it's for the best. Opus Magnum was a great time and a lot of the others are clever as well.
i want to play more djmax but it feels way harder than project diva even at 4 button for me
DJMax is merciless towards new players but I seriously recommend you stick to it. I struggled hard with 4-star songs and now I beat (barely) 13-star songs in 6button mode and it feels great.
Play Yakuza.
>Peppa Pig
IT'S OVER SONYBROS
Peppa pig has a game? Right on
>powerwash simulator
>peppa pig
Gamepass is only worth getting once every five or six months to play a bunch of games you want to try but don't want to buy. 85% of the games are dogshit, but I believe they have all the Gears of War, all the Halos, all the Doom games (even the classics), the three Mass Effect games and the remastered trilogy (plus Andromeda if that's your thing), Sniper Elite 4 and 5, and Shredder's Revenge.
Oh yeah, it also has Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. Plus Fallout New Vegas, 3 and 4. I think they still have ESO and 76 to try. They have Project Wingman which is an Ace Combat clone, I actually enjoyed that and might buy it. Sniper Elite 5 fricking sucks and I'm glad I didn't buy it and tried it on Gamepass.
Any one of those games is like $5 in a Steam sale and since they're long a subscription service isn't as good value for them.
Like I said earlier, it's good to try games out. I've played all the Elder Scrolls games before, but never played any Fallout games, so I was able to see which ones I liked, and then bought the ones I liked. I also got to try Sniper Elite 4 and 5 and bought SE4. I also played Streets of Rage 4 and Shredder's Revenge which I have no intention of buying, just wanted to try. I was also able to play the Mass Effect remaster, and actually try the shitty Andromeda to see how bad it was for myself.
I only get it for a month or two every few months to try a bunch of games I normally wouldn't even look twice at. The reason is a lot of the games are really shitty "rogue-like Earthbound inspired deck building" games or those storytelling games like Life is Strange. Plus a lot of weird simulators like Lawn Mowing simulator.
It is though since you can get it constantly for 1 buck.
PEPPA homieS RISE TF UP.
Oh shit, DJMax is absolutely worth it, it will probably have the base game only though, but still that's a lot of songs.
too bad I bought it on release and already put 300 hours in
I'll probably do the SC charts just for the sake of completion.
Shitty disappointment. Oh well. Too busy playing fallout 3, next im either going to play Hitman trilogy or something else.
When is djmax getting added?
July 7th
I've tried this when it was $1 and I didn't like the subscription model.
The issue is that I always had this feeling that I only had a limited time to play video games whereas with the games I own I can put them in standby indefinitely if I'm too busy IRL.
I know most games don't take over a month to beat, but it was still bothering me.
I like that feeling, it motivated me to beat more games instead of dropping them.
That's the reason why I buy games instead of just pirating. However, I don't need more "motivation" than that. It makes me anxious.
Also, and this is subjective, but I think the regular price is totally not worth it. I think they know it too hence why they are offering 3 months for $1 each all the time.
I agree, the regular price sucks. I wouldn't subscribe for full price.
>start game
>your 1€ runs out
>now you must pay again to finish game
i'm sure thats part of their plan . luckily i have little social life nowdays and can finish a game in 2 days
All subscriptions work like that. Do you think gyms expect all the people who got the new year special to show up for the rest of the year?
dunno about that . i just payed monthly on my gym and never missed a day
YOU HAVE TO LIVE IT
But in all seriousness, they count on people who buy the subscription and then show up twice a month to feel good about themselves. It's basically free to exploit people like that.
Also, people who forget to stop the Netflix payment after setting it up to be automatic.
You know what? I'm still not done. The reason above is partly why some content creators are inactive for months, but still receive money each month. People forget.
Should have gotten the 3 month for 1 buck deal. I finished forza and halo and still had 2 months left so I never felt that way.
>Try to play game.
>Can't concentrate because of my constant boner throughout the whole session.
>Lose.
Nice game buttholes.
>I WILL PAY 20 DOLLARS A MONTH FOR PEPA PIG
>dropped
Found the Black person.
PEPPABROS WE WON
I'm happy that they're committed to keeping all of the Yakuza games but Microshit please enough with all the shovelware indie games.
anon.. that's the end objective of all subscriptions. you lure new users with fancy AAA games, and then you drip feed the cheapest crap imaginable because they are invested in your ecosystem anyway, so they are not going to move elsewhere
snoys are paying for pal psx games, and have you fricking seen the snes games reaching nintendo online lately? holy shit
Good/decent old games are still better than new shovelware
>DJ Max
Pretty based, but I'm sure it won't have any of the DLC
They removed those yakuza games a few months ago just to add them again? My pass expires this month. Not renewing.
They negotiate the license for the game for so many months then it eventually expires. The only games that don't have this problem are their own studios.
Half of this shit was already on there. What the frick?
What the frick is Dj Max Respect?
a korean made beatmania type game, it's been around since 2004
Worth a download? I’m down for rhythm games, but I thought it was a EDM song or set maker,
i'd say so, this particular entry has songs from every other game in the series, only thing is the DLC is pretty pricey and there's no mention of whether it includes it or not
the base game is fun enough though
>Worth a download?
If you are into rhythm games, yes absolutely, it's mostly electronic/pop but it has a bunch of everything from Metal to sampling, it also has a ton of collaborations that add into the genre of songs.
peppaKINGS we eatan good tonight
>I bought Kiwami 2
It thought me a lesson, it’s a bad idea to rely on subscriptions for long running franchises.
I initially bought in for Yakoozee, KH, FF. I’m stuck on FFX.
Starting to look like PS+ when it was based at first but gradually got worse over time in conjunction with the subscriber base getting bigger. My card expired and I don't think I'm gonna bother updating it on my microsoft account.
Check that shit and formally remove it. Subscription services can talk to your bank to automatically update expired cards and continue charging you.
Those sneaky bastards.
There is a drought in MS's first parties in general. Starfield was supposed to be the big game of the year but it got delayed. I will resubscribe when it drops next year.
It's not really worth having more than a month. Their library is packed with really moronic games like Unpacking. A game where you literally unpack boxes in a new apartment. Or House Flipper. Or Lawn Mower simulator. I see they just added Power Washing Simulator. Pupperazzi, Pokemon snap kind of game but with puppies. Snowrunner, the sequel to mudrunner, where you play driving a truck that gets stuck in the mud. A Power Rangers fighting game. Pac Man. Tetris. Fricking NHL '94. Boyfriend Dungeon. Bejeweled, Peggle and Plants VS Zombies (aren't those cellphone games?) Plus a shit ton of walking simulators and half finished games "preview only".
Long story short, Gamepass is only worth getting for a month or two and then waiting a half year to get it again.
This moron doesn't even know what EA play is.
Yeah, play a bunch of shitty EA sports and Star Wars games packed with microtransactions. Very cool, can't wait to play fricking Cricket.
You are a true DJMAX fan, right Ganker?
>Peppa Pig
>Paw Patrol
>Power wash simulator
It's a good time to be a gamer fellow XChads
peppabros we won
only good games are Yakuza, which have been on and left Gamepass at least once already. Didn't take long for them to sink to the shitty selections of TV/movie streaming services
Why are they removing 360 games?
djmax is nice
>Subscription for Video Games
How often do games come back on gamepass? Anyway, it's a shame, i was expecting them to put the Evil Dead game
I don't how often they come back, but they usually stay for a while before getting rotated out. I mean months and months. Some games just seem permanent like Minecraft and Minecraft dungeons.
>Pepa Pig and decade old yakuza
OMG WE WON PASS SISTERS!!!!
Anyone remember when they've removed and readded fallout 4 like 4 times?
The same with Dishonored i think
