Playing on the couch is way better. That's why I play on console.

What about connecting a HDMI to your TV and using a controller?

consoletards are mentally challenged, as evidenced by the great Logitech "real sub captains use a controller" fiasco that's all over the media

HDMI cables somehow do not exist to console players.
couch PC players are magic users.

silly anon, people have been using stuff like macro controllers in shooters for decades. now, they even have gimmicks like the cronus ZEN to aimbot , remove recoil, etc

read what Ubisoft did to Siege on consoles, its ridiculous.
instead of combatting cheaters they just removed the ability to select fire modes and gimped m+kb with artificial lag. it's hilarious and also sad, such incompetence

Siege should just allow cross play with PC like CoD does. What’s the point in keeping them separated now? Console is full of modded controllers and m/kb anyway.

          Anonymous

          Siege does have crossplay.
it's kind of shit because pwning consolen*ggers is no fun after a while, there's no reward in it; if you turn crossplay matchmaking off you never find a match. worst of both worlds.
same in CoD i tried it on both console and pc

            ???
I thought crossplay was only between Xbox and PS. When did they open up it up to PC?

              Anonymous

no idea, i haven't played for over a year because i was in rehab, sometime Q3/Q4 of 2022 i think.
it's still filled with sweaty nofun zoomers, at least the consoleturds play without mic mostly so no text/mic spam from them. also your progress from pc transfers over if you happen to switch platforms and vice versa

I’m not doubting you, but I’ll have to check when I get home. Last I played -l like maybe a month ago, the crossplay for consoles was only between Xbox and PS, while you COULD transfer your account over to PC and or from PC to your console, you couldn’t actually play against console plebs while you were on PC.
I’ll have to go and check again, maybe they updated.

Lmao, as if its even remotely comparable. I have never known a single person who played pc games not to cheat, while console chads can’t be bothered. You sound like a BLM guy saying “white on black crime happens too you know”.

Yeah, some percentage of PC gays cheat. However, 99% of you console gays use aimbot so frick off.

As always, the pc user has an excuse ready to go about why they NEED to cheat in every game they play.

      > Cheaters are a thing at consoles too, moron
This. It’s mind numbing to me how many legit stupid people are out there. While major banks and government agencies can get hacked, they believe a $300 toy from Walmart is impervious.
Hacking on console isn’t as bad as on PC, not by a long shot, but it absolutely is real.

        Way less cheaters on consoles.

The only people who cheat on consoles- are pc cucks who also own a console go through the trouble. So again, it comes back to the pc cheaters.

I prefer couch gaming so ill choose console over pc for any games with good controller support. Pcm and hdmi dont work the best with the receivers ive used and consoles get the surround right more often

Sf6 has crossplay, but the first thing I did in it was turn off matches with pc users. Frick them all, I’m not wasting time fighting these disconnecting shitbags. I haven’t had a single disconnected match thanks to that.

    >get steam deck
    >play on a secondary tv setup in my room more with a comfy rocker chair
    >barely use my PC at a desk for single player games
honestly its been kinda surreal for me ill admit its been fun not being just limited to my desk just was too lazy to move my whole setup to an hd tv

I also have a hacked Switch, but I didn't include it because it's not really that great of a console, few games that I thought were really great and I can get them all for free

my pc is a rolling stand that locks. if i ever want to go on a couch, just roll my pc out and connect the power and hdmi. best of both worlds.

based. i got that rolling stand from IKEA, o was going to do couch gaming when i get my new flat because i don't have room from a decent TV right now. although i have less and less time and energy to game now after work/gym since i quit being a boozehound coomer and I'm more intrigued by big brain games that are m+kb
that said I've been couch gaming with X360/xbone controllers since 2014 and op is a homosexual

    >2023
    >not owning a 4090 pc, switch, series x.

Hooking up a pc via hdmi on a tv can be a bit of a pain. A series x controller works with MOST games wireless, but some do not. So you boot up your pc with steam big picture, hit play, maybe a launcher pops up, which is a huge pain, and then there's still an 10% chance it doesnt work correctly with your controller.
So you need a wireless keyboard and mouse, and trouble shooting on a tv is a pain in the ass. Also surround sound doesnt work 80% of the time.

A console you just plug in your reciever and you're good to go.

Actually saves money since you can use one high quality TV for everything.
