Not really when you have vsync, 30FPS, depth of field, 60 FOV, upscaling and TAA forced on you.
Funny how there is never any proof, builds, or anything else to ever back this up.
Not anymore lol
Post some builds then
maybe 10 years ago, not anymore with $800 mid-range gpus
It all depends on how smart you are. Hobbyists know how to get what they want, and how to get it cheap. Consolegays aren't hobbyists so they don't understand, they just take the "deals" given to them.
So why would I play on a platform with half assed ports? Oh right cause only losers play on PC
Consoles have no games, and shitty ports will be fixed with mods and ini tweaks if they're bad enough to need fixing. Bad ports are mostly a thing of the past in the era where everything is an IBM PC anyway.
No one needs to prove self evident things. >ps5 is $11000 >xbox x is $10000 >xbox s is $6000 >switch is $6000 >I got a medium pc for $8000 >later upgraded to one that can play everything for $16000
Not in the mood to convert to american coin
>INB4 SEEE ITS EXPENSIVIER!!!!!
A pc is a work station that can play every game ever, a console is a game machine that becomes mostly useless in the next gen.
Well 1, you need to pay for online functions in all consoles now which adds up. 2. Games are more likely to still be playable on PC for the future while you have to rely on console makers to install backwards compatibility with theirs in order to secure a future for your older games. 3 if you do want to play older games that are not present on new consoles the pc offers you emulation otherwise those games go up to hundreds of dollars if you want to play on the original consoles.
>Funny how there is never any proof, builds, or anything else to ever back this up.
Steam Deck is literally less than $400 and can emulate everything up to Xbox 360 and PS3, also you have the entire Steam catalogue, and Proton runs almost any Windows game. The only games that won't run are ones with ring 0 anticheats, and ones that demand 4K specs for the lowest settings.
I play Genshin, Honkai, TF2 and many more old and newer games on a Iris XE notebook, it's way more acessible, and the cursed word of the moment, democratic to play.
I’ve heard way too much bullshit to try that. If I did try pc I’d build every single time. But I’m just too fricking lazy especially to learn about how to trouble shoot and make sure a machine works properly. Plus the state of most releases recently is really discouraging.
People say this and then go buy a $4k setup anyway. I'm people, by the way. Sure, you can scrounge up a $400 shitbox, but it'll be nothing but a headache. I'd much rather just stop eating out for a couple months and then build an actual good PC that'll run everything I throw at it for the next decade if I want.
true, but consoles could be better if players were not complacent.
One Xbox youtuber basically admitted he "likes the worse product" and then bought an ROG ally. Console mediocrity broke him.
Dev-mode pulls all the energy out of jailbreaking the system.
kinda genius if you ask me.

Deck pulls the rug out of the value of consoles, 400$, almost any game (+ mods) and still no online.
PC is filled to the brim with American, Chinese and now Indian hackers. Even IF console was more (its not), console would still be worth it in the year 2023 and 2024
well console is more comfy

This image BTFOs the consolegays.
>Doesn't even give pc specs
>Just gives GPU
What's the point of the comparison if you're not even going to give people the means of making a custom?
nta but I knew you were going to cope like this, you could've googled the title dipshit.
I mean you're really fricking pushing it with those parts, the Thermaltake Smart PSU is known for being pretty bad.
the GPU is 90% of the specs, tardo
Meabwhile a 4090 PC running a PS5 game lol
>using a halfassed port as proof
oh nononononoNONONONO AHAHAHAHAHA
So why would I play on a platform with half assed ports? Oh right cause only losers play on PC
in DMC5, the PS5 loses to a 1060
FEAR literally runs at 720p30 my man.

It really is and it will offer you the broadest game library
I’m too lazy for pc building so I don’t care
you can buy prebuilt
Not anymore lol

If you just want to play some old school or indie games, sure. But if you want to play big new titles then no, not at all.
I’ve heard way too much bullshit to try that. If I did try pc I’d build every single time. But I’m just too fricking lazy especially to learn about how to trouble shoot and make sure a machine works properly. Plus the state of most releases recently is really discouraging.
Damn it meant to respond to
you could buy a deck to try PC, won't be perfect, but is alot cheaper than going all in.
It's not cheaper, but I don't give a shit.
I have a good rig for whatever isn't on Xbox.

right?
if you're gonna buy a PC at least make it frick games like a Japanese school girl.
All these console comparisons are moronic.
Absolutely. I can 100% attest to this as current gen consoles don't allow piracy (Team Xecuter is no more).
t. turd worlder.
PS5 is sort of hackable i guess but yea can't pirate ps5 games. switch just needs modchip. nobody cares about xbox

in the long term yes but consolechuds don't think about the long term

is everybody on this board wrong about everything ALL the time?
