As someone that plays Forza and AC, GT7 has the best experience when it comes to having quick clean races with skilled drivers. The perfect game would have GT7's graphics and multiplayer experience, AC physics and mod-ability, and Forza's customization / tuning.
Now let's compare the gameplay
gt7: driving rally car on rally stage race that lasts 3 minutes for 20 hours to grind money for a car or upgrade
FM: driving any car you want on any track you want in anyway you want still gets you reward and cars aren't too expensive.
if you want multiplayer experience then go play some real games for real men like asetto corsa competitzione or Iracing.
it's the exact same guy who scream iRenting will defending Gaas 7. Even after the Gt Sport fiasco.

It genuinely doesn't look as good as PCARS 2 on PC and PCARS 2 had a shitload of things going on like full dynamic time of day and full dynamic weather while GT only has Static TOD and weather including track temprature effecting grip. GT hasn't been impressive since the PS3 when you consider other PC racing games have been doing so much more while also having good graphics. Fricking iRacing got a full dynamic time of day and dynamic weather system including track temprature before GT did.
How the frick did GT, the so called standard bearer in racing games end up having less features than a super autistic racing sim made in unity engine based off 2003 NASCAR game's physics engine? Fricking HOW? Sony spends $200 million per fricking GT game and Polyphony still haven't fricking figured out things developers of other racing games did DECADES ago.

GT fell off after 5. GT and by extension Forza are very funny to me in that neither series is truly regarded for its simulation accuracy, theyre regarded because theyre THE racing game for their respective console. PC users have 2 bakers dozen of decent racing sims made by, upkept by, and modified by car autists down to the most miniscule details of accuracy in physics and performance with plenty of games that focus on different disciplines of racing, but only console morons lord their substandard racing sims as THE GOAT over everyone else because its all they know. Itd be like if Switch got a racing sim called Super Nintendo Racers and they started threads with shit like "Damn, its a real shame the best racing sim on earth is stuck to my system" But ya know, its their only racing game so.....

It's what really fricks me off whenever sony fanboys brag about GT. The car models are good. That's it. The tracks still look like they are ripped from the PS3 with 2D trees and assets. PCARS had fully 3D environments nearly 10 years ago. PC Sims have vastly surpassed the console sims with 20 times the autism that Gran Turismo has. Fully dynamic weather. Fully dynamic time of day. Every feature and discipline you want and consolegays still come in and say "Muh simcade is best simcade because photo mode".
No one on PC who plays racing games seriously actually wants Gran Turismo 7 on PC. At best its a mild curiosity before going back to the other, better sim games like Assetto.
someday. since r&c, horizon, gow, etc. came to pc atoo. even if never, i'm not gonna buy a PS5 for just 1 game. and besides, it's a ps4 game at its core, made with it´s hardware limitations in mind
Because it's the only option, what if people don't want to sink hundreds of dollars into one game? That's why GT7 would be a competitor to iRenting, no dumb subscription model, proper matchmaking with ratings and it's enough of a sim to satisfy sim racers.
