Ahhh! Stahp, I wish you could just black list certain skills. This is why Ken and Koromaru suck so much. All they do is spam light and dark spells that never work.
>I wish you could just black list certain skills
Yeah, it really needs this. Ever since I learned you could do that in Star Ocean 2, all the AI-companion games without this feature have been disappointing.
I would prefer it if the AI had a remote bit of competence.
It's an okay idea in theory. But the AI is really terrible at not doing the obvious wrong thing.
It's not perfect, but it's not too terrible. You can usually make them do roughly what you need. You just have to plan around the lack of absolute certainty and be willing to endure the occasional turn being wasted.
Edgy contrarian. Absolute zero taste and love time wasting over npc ai mistakes. You're not proving us you are better at anything rather that you have zero control and judgement on how you waste your time.
I think when I played FES decades ago I did experience almost infinite loop against some early boss (the one with repel/immunity). Basically you just watch your never ending stun loop but non of you can die either.
I maintain that outside of Heal/Support being dogshit and the Ma- spells seemingly being only mapped to Act Freely, the tactics system works perfectly and anyone who complains about Mitsuru using Marin Karin simply is too low-skilled to use it.
Aki and Aigis stopped being useful for support at a certain point because I couldn't rely on them to cast the proper Ma- spells.
Instead I had my own character take on that role, except for Marakujaka, which Junpei reliably pulls off.
I never had a problem otherwise. Marinkaringays got filtered hard.
>characters act on their own in battle and have lives of their own that don't revolve around your schedule
P4 weebs and P5 zoomers will never understand this
fr fr. I played the original when it came out. Never found it that tough. Also I think it was a mistake to remove the fatigue in the remake. It was cool to let people rest after a trip to tartarus. Or like someone can't go 'cause they're sick. Now it's just less interesting. It's like they took away the complexity to appeal to the weakest players.
>being handicapped is le good
>handicapped
>MC can use every weapon, fuse personae beyond his level, grind for stats and use items
Pure skill issue, I fear.
Marin
Karin

Tales of games have always had the ability to blacklist skills and it's great there as well.
>knock down for mobs
>full assault for bosses
>support/heal for akihiko and aigis
Easy game.
It works in 3 but not a single person would prefer this to complete party control.

I'd argue that it doesn't work, it just doesn't completely break the game.
>bringing in party members to a fight in FES
A rookie mistake.
I would simply rather play the game for myself
>he used the bathroom at school
Trust issues. Gamers are control freaks and want all the credit.
Just put the game on easy and solo the fights.
Or just play reload.
I miss Marin Karin memes
FES Black folk coping tonight

>Absolute zero taste
Unlocking new Tactics as the team grows stronger together is peak soul though
DOGGY!

Marin Karin gays never set Mitsuru off Act Freely. She does not cast Marin Karin otherwise. Don't let them lie to you.
at least they out themselves quickly.

not being able to directly control your party members was always moronic.
>gameplay bad
At least Personagays are honest
>characters act on their own in battle and have lives of their own that don't revolve around your schedule
P4 weebs and P5 zoomers will never understand this
>muh filtered homosexual is moronic
Shocking.
Not an argument
Correct. It was a statement.
yeah i figured the people complaining are just the typical morons who suck at jrpgs and complain about the genre as a whole
