The fact that they're using Unreal Engine means a switch port will be hard if they've been targeting high end platforms. Look how long it's taking to port Hogwarts Legacy and took to port DQ11. If Switch 2 is Q1 2024 it makes sense to just port to that instead
The last game Atlus just made though was UE too, SMT V which is a switch exclusive. Working on that game is probably why they decided to go with UE for this game and not the p5/Catherine engine. I think it would run fine on switch, it's not nearly as graphically intense as something like harry potter.

Next week regardless of what anyone says. They have an investors meeting and only have Pikmin 4 announced. Everybody 1,2 Switch will be a flop and MP4 is vaporware until they actually show it.
