You'll probably have a gameplay reason to keep her around. Her Orgia Mode was way stronger than Aigis's, and she was able to hit multiple weaknesses, so it was ideal to keep her around, even if enemies were a bunch of wienermonglers who carried Evade skills.
I fought one fight in reload after not using Junpei for like 2 blocks and he leveled up to 41 (my level was like 48). It'll be fine with the new way they do EXP

There are a LOT of Fuuka / Koro dialogue moments that show up in Tartarus. It's kinda cute bc everyone loves Koro, but it gets kinda annoying really quickly.
It's simply because they added a frickton of dialogue to everyone, including Koromaru, to spice up the Tartarus grind. Aigis is usually his mouthpiece, but she may or may not be in your party, so Fuuka talks for him instead.
I swear the Fuuka-Koro shit in Tartarus is bugged or something, it ALWAYS happens whereas if you don't have Koro in the party all the other characters will say stuff more often.

Usually it's so weird to start this kind of rpg with already established "badass" characters, because you begin from level 1 since the very initial areas so it feels like they were just weak b***hes all long
It ends up being kind of irrelevant. They were Persona Users for longer but by the time Sanada's back in the game, protagonist, Yukari and Junpei have already beaten tougher foes. It all sort of evens out by the end.

Past the earlygame the only buff you care about vs bosses is tarukaja. So instead of using Heat Riser you can just cast Matarukaja once your auto buffs expire. Masukukaja is good vs Golden Hands but by the time your 3 turn auto buffs expire you've either killed them or they've escaped.
Rakukaja matters vs Reaper but you'd again rather have 2 characters cast matarukaja and marakukaja than just having heat riser on mc.
It's mandatory vs Elizabeth but that's about it.

I think Soul Hackers 2 shows that rather than having multiple playable characters, Atlus is willing to try having games with female protagonists. Perhaps someday, there will be a Persona game with a proper female protag who isn't just an add-on.

Speaking of power levels I just saw the numbers on Theurgies and I love how it basically just completely and UTTERLY proves that Junpei is the strongest character in the game bar mc.
Junpei gets crit amp and slash boost/amp
His slash theurgy is 230 power, for comparisons sake protagonists scarlet havoc is 250 power and protagonist cannot get crit amp only single/multi target boost to compete with junpeis crit damage.
It gets better tho, blaze of life is a colossal 450 power so that means building junpei with fire boost/amp agidyne build makes him hit harder on theurgy than anyone else in the game. The anon maxing his magic stat the other thread knew what he was doing.
From an endgame perspective, Shinji is kind of questionable as a choice. I do agree there. It's just within the context of the game, he is solid for his part of the game, that he is present. And Junpei is indeed a powerhouse, if used right as all the information supports for him, for Reload in general, which is very nice.

Sanada's schtick was always being an all-rounder. His original skillset was entirely based around that:

He was an extremely balanced character, with Fist Master making up for his lack of Phys skills. It's just that debuffs ended up becoming his entire identity. Reload merely reinforces that premise. He did assist with crits somewhat, since Elec inflicts shock which insured crits.
Being a crit specialist wouldn't help him as much here because both his Theurgies are Elec-based. He can't crit with them at all.
The issue is at the end of the day Akihiko just can't compete, he's viable like all the characters but he's on the lower end
He's not bad. Doubles the effectiveness of buffs on him. If you equip him with Strike Amp and Strike Boost, he'll outdamage Aigis with God's Hand, since Primal Force was severely gimped in this game in order to balance out Aigis' Phys Amp. It's too bad there's no real way to meaningfully enhance Aigis' crit rate. Myriad Arrows can actually do some pretty ridiculous damage if you set it up properly, but Aigis just can't really take full advantage of it.
Hes the second best damage dealer in the game and he picks up his stride on mid game when he learns gigantic fist. Aigis is pretty much diet version of both of them due to being pierce based which is fine because she still outdamages the casters while being support based.
Mitsuru really falls behind junpei and akihiko because she lacks the multipliers they both have. Ken and Koromaru are better than Mitsuru mid game and diet Mitsuru late game and I mean like 6th block endgame. Yukari just sucks overall, thats why they gave her the concentrate theurgy but even that is just fricking whatever when phys is just better than magic and fuuka can give you both charge and concentrate consistently anyway if you’re at near full hp/sp and buffed.

Great Clocks makes it irrelevant since you can just instantly catch up anyone falling behind. Not that the game is hard at this point anyway, but he's easily the strongest party member and makes clearing any of the floor bosses or full moon boss that much easier in the month he exists.
Did they ever find out how you even get them to trigger? People always say this but I only ever was able to get the great clock like three times in my first playthrough.
Anytime you open a locked chest on a non-boss floor, there's a chance that it will spawn. I think someone calculated it out to being it being a guaranteed pity spawn after ~20 chests if you get really unlucky.

Min-maxing isn't that relevant by the end game. Once everyone's more or less set up to optimal conditions, Yukari, Amada and Koromaru pretty much do half the damage that Junpei, Sanada, Mitsuru and Aegis can do.
In terms of normal, uncharged damage, Sanada performs the best thanks to God's Hand, but his numbers aren't tremendously higher than Mitsuru's. If he doesn't crit then Junpei's numbers are the lowest of the top four. When he crits, his damage almost triples, shooting him up to the top. Mitsuru may be able to eventually outdamage Sanada over time if she uses Concentrate, provided that Sanada doesn't crit.
Akasha Arts can outdamage God's Hand provided that both hits proc. However in the case of Aigis, it's probably unwise to prioritize it because Akasha Arts is Strike while both her Theurgies are Pierce. Myriad Arrows starts slightly outdamaging Primal Force at four hits and outdamages God's Hand at five hits. I don't know what the probability is that she'll proc all five hits though, but even at four hits it outdamages Primal Force. If anyone can work out the math to the hit proc probabilities, that would be nice. Aigis has the POTENTIAL to outdamage Sanada, but it's probably unlikely she will most of the time. And she'll never outdamage Junpei's crits without being able to crit herself.

Things to keep in mind:
I'm not actually sure if Criticals do 1.5x damage normally in this game, as some of the numbers seem a bit iffy. What I do know for certain is the Crit Amp triples Junpei's damage when he crits. I'm going off crit values for past games, and the base crit value may have changed for P3R.
Likewise, I'm not actually certain if Tarukaja adds a 1.5x modifier in P3R. I'm only assuming it does, but it may be less.
Magic Mastery can only be obtained via skill mutation so it's not the most relevant factor.
Protagonist cannot reach the same base damage as Sanada and Aegis, nor can he achieve the same crit damage as Junpei, but he's unique in that he can both stack buffs and max out his crit rate on a single Persona. What this means is that he'll be critting much more often than either Sanada or Aegis, and he'll probably be critting slightly more often than Junpei if he has Crit Rate Boost as well. His average damage will outperform any other character's for this reason.
Sanada will probably crit less than a fifth the amount Junpei does. Aegis will crit even less.

Also, my team is like 8 levels behind me because I've been trying to keep everyone around the same level which I now know is a mistake. I'm interested to see what people used as their, "final teams." I always use CHADmaru because he's great in every situation and Ken as my healer for similar reasons, then switch between Akihiko and Mitsuru for my fourth depending on if I want more physical or magic damage.

This moment made me realize that Aigis' romance has to be canon because it explains nicely why she was able to summon Orpheus. It's not just some vague gesture - the MC literally left a part of him inside her as a symbol of love as she requested, and that let her manifest his Persona. It's similar to what Chidori and Junpei did, but more straightforward.

If you asked me, I want them to just get on with it and rescue the protagonist instead of repeating The Answer verbatim. They've been teasing it with Elizabeth since Persona 4, and I'd much rather tie this plot thread in the P3 DLC than wait for some spinoff fighting game or whatever.

It will most likely involve the living P3 cast, courtesy of this line from P4. It's a prime example of a Chekhov's gun that's yet to fire. And knowing Atlus, it will involve some sort of a grand battle against Erebus, with an ultimate goal of sealing him, or reeducating him, or doing whatever the frick that would reunite the MC with his harem.
