For some reason P4 and P5 completely frontload all their characters. As soon as you meet them, surprise, it's their arc, and after you deal with their shadow they join the team and sit there happily for the rest of the game with no problems whatsoever. In Persona 3, every single character (even the fricking dog) is touched by death, literally and figuratively, and have a reason to be there, and even better, their stories unfold as the greater scope narrative unfolds; they exist as actual people in the world rather than just party members to collect and fap to.

Remember when there was a shot of both Mitsuru and Yukari where Yukari is looking off to the side, seemingly annoyed? She just looks up like “whuuut??” Here. No interesting shot composition or anything. This is a nitpick but I think it’s one that speaks to a larger problem. These people didn’t make Persona 3, and probably don’t care about the sort of tiny details that make it what it was.

If yukari uses diarama, a single target move, that means one of your allies are below 50% and the others are above 50%.

I think adding various easy modes and free healing and no gameovers and the ability to leave tarturus at any time and return to exactly where you left off and removing characters getting sick and tests and dying and any kind of challenge or difficulty would make the game better than the other editions.

The classic bands only appear twice in this trailer (junpei and yukari wear them for a split second) and the nubands are in the anime cutscenes too. There's absolutely zero chance they reanimated them. The classic bands are likely a costume you can wear and they are hiding the redesign from japs.
Im guessing it's gonna be a "original in the real world/ redesign in Tartarus" kinda thing since the original are more decorative while the ones are more "solid" like a piece of armor

The fact that it's included at all is already a compromise to the game's artistic integrity that the original devs wouldn't have made. P4G and P5R had new endings, so it wouldn't be something new for Atlus. To have Makoto live would diminish any real threat Nyx ever had ("can't be defeated"), undercut all values of sacrifice/selflessness/friendship established throughout the plot, and make the symbolism of Messiah being the final persona fall flat on its face. Having the MC turn into yet another anime protagonist that changes their fate would be such a bore.

As soon as you meet them, surprise, it's their arc, and after you deal with their shadow they join the team and sit there happily for the rest of the game with no problems whatsoever. In Persona 3, every single character (even the fricking dog) is touched by death, literally and figuratively, and have a reason to be there, and even better, their stories unfold as the greater scope narrative unfolds; they exist as actual people in the world rather than just party members to collect and fap to.
