I still can't figure out how to deal with Phase 2 itself, but my solution was to skip it entirely by nuking her Jack Frost with a fully set up Inferno once she was close to the HP threshold, and then following up with a Morning Star to force her to heal.

Nocturne is a great game, bear in mind its 20yrs old and the HD Remaster adds some QoL, but it has aged well and has a feel like no other, you could also try SMT IV if you have a 3DS handy, an excellent game deserving of a future port

In a battle against him? Depends on how well they're willing to accept that he is part of them. The IS cast got mad as frick at Nyarly and they lost hard, but the EP crew didn't deny that humans are a fricked up species and they won. The distinction here is the EP cast are actual adults so they don't have as much trouble with this kind of stuff as angsty teenagers do.

He's not really with us long enough to make an assessment about whether it's going to go berserk and based on his actions in battle and the effort he expends when summoning, he's going much more hardcore than the rest of the group so there's an assumption that he's just putting in infinitely more work than everyone else to make sure his team mates don't get fricked but do remember that willpower isn't infinite.

Link Episodes are actually really fricking great and should be the correct way to handle party members instead of individual social links going forward.
Nah, I still prefer S. Links. The Link Episodes are better than most S. Links in P3, but that's just because P3 doesn't have great S. Links. Link Episodes aren't functionally that different from S. Links aside from being much less rewarding, and if that's how they're going to be I'd rather just have it has an S. Link so I get to spend my time on an actually interesting narrative and get a meaningful change to the dungeoncrawling/combat instead of being in a position where I have to ask myself do I want to spend my time on a character and story I'm actually interested in with a Link Episode while knowing it's not an efficient use of time and will probably just give me a point in some social stat I'm long past the point of needing, or should I spend the time on an S. Link with a character I don't care about because it's more rewarding mechanically, and also a bit more interesting on its own mechanically seeing as there is the little bit you influence in it in trying to get as many points as possible with your dialogue options each rank.
I don't think there's much about the Link Episode structure that does anything good for it that couldn't be done with a S. Link. They are better than the S. Links in P3, but it has nothing to do with the structure s compared to S. Links, it's because they're about more interesting characters, which can be covered with S. Links, they're longer than the very short S. Link ranks of P3, which can be covered by S. Links, and they generally tell more interesting stories, which can be covered by S. Links. I think they're a good addition to P3R seeing as it's a way to let you spend time with party members without replacing any S. Links, but P6 isn't going to have to work around existing S. Links so I see no need for anything like Link Episodes.
The issue with party member social links has always been that they're generally irrelevant to the main story, since they have to be optional and can be done at any point. Any kind of development that happens in them generally ignores what happens in the main story and vice versa. While Link Episodes don't completely alleviate this, them being time-limited means they can easily reference events in the story and complement it. If they keep party social links, I'd hope they can at least make it similar to Link Episodes in that they complement story events instead of completely ignoring them.
That also is not something inherent to S. Links at all. Both Kasumi and Sojiro's S. Links do the same thing in P5. I do think there'd be no harm in timegating more S. Links to reference story events, but it's not something only Link Episodes can uniquely do.
People may hate to hear it, but the ideal approach to party member social links would be just throw timelocks onto them so they can reference events in the main story. They do seem to playing with the idea considering how Kasumi's stuff works in P5R with half her confidant being locked until her time in the main story.
Link Episodes are pretty much where modern Persona is with social links, which is why they are kind of jarring when you compare them to how simple the links were in P3.
It honestly kind of took P-Studio 3 full games to figure it out.
P4 was realizing "Oh yeah. We should probably give the male party members their own links, and maybe we can make it so your party members unlock abilities as you level up their link."
The fox was also a beta what would later become Confidants
P5 was them realizing "Maybe we should make it so that your non-party member links actually give you some kind of skill or ability that can be a major QoL feature for the player like Kawakami's massages or Chihaya's stuff."
I would say P5 is when they really figured it out, since I don't really think there was a bad confidant in that game. Some were definitely weaker, but I can remember more about the side cast in that game than I can from P3/P4.
I like that linked episodes are locked behind story events so they actually integrate. More social links need to pull this shit with party members.

Persona's are a part of you so they can be summoned IRL in stressful situations but are mostly only available in Shadow like realms.
It's because recasting in Japan is a serious deal. The VA has to be involved in a scandal, retired, or dead for them to recast. It doesn't matter that most of the cast is in their 40 to 60s, meanwhile people think a big reason why the dub was recast was because Atlus thought all of them were too old. Some of the old dubs VAs even voice npcs now.
I think it's cool, like a new generation of VAs. Younger voices for a teenage cast. They mostly sound similar enough to me. MC is fine, since it's similar to the JP but I do miss how Yuri screams the persona names. Only Akihiko's voice took a while to get used to. It's cool the older ones got cameos

In the case of Strega, probably. Personas and Shadows are two sides of the same coin; in particular, Strega's Personas are very close to Shadows since they didn't awaken properly (hence why their Personas are trying to kill them).
However, occasionally there are people who just happen to become active during the Dark Hour despite not being able to summon Personas. These are the ones who end up getting devoured by Shadows and contracting Apathy Syndrome. Amada and his mom just happened to wake up during the Dark Hour which unfortunately coincided with Shinjiro losing control over his Persona.

This is actually something I find really funny and kind of dislike about the game- you're often rewarded for making the objectively wrong choices, solely because it gives you more points, which is why you're doing the Social Links in the first place. Kind of makes Minato seems like a sociopath, which admittedly fits his character.

I just don't understand it bros. When do I fuse my dudes? I know you get a bonus if you fuse it to a persona with your high social link. But I haven't found some of the social links in the game and it's frustrating because I want one of the fused characters but he gets no bonus exp because I never found the social link for it.
Fusing when your stock is full is a fine time to do it, obviously it's better to fuse when you're S. Link is high, but don't be too precious with it. You're not going to unlock some S. Links until way late in the game and you're not going to use every Persona you fuse anyway. You can also just by back any Persona you fuse from the compendium, so even if you fuse one you like using you can just buy it back if you want to hang on to it.

Registering to the compendium just registers the Persona in its current state, they're all automatically registered when you get them for the first time, but registering them manually overwrites the registered version so it'll have whatever level, stats and skills the version your registering has. If you mean is there no point in leveling a Persona of an Arcana you don't have the S. Link for, there's no more or less reason to do it than with any other Persona, the boost from the S. Link just makes the process of levelling them quicker because they get an experience boost when you fuse them.
Just keep fusing, keep personas near your level. Don't get too attached.
This is not Pokemon, you aren't supposed to keep the same personas until they reach level 99 and evolve. You have to keep fusing in order to get stronger. Think of your persona compendium as your toolbox, if you dont fuse and get new skills your toolbox isnt ever going to grow.

Elaborate, what are you trying to fuse? What social link are you talking about? Im going to tell you straight up that you will not unlock Empress, Priestess, Sun, Lovers and Aeon right away. Judging from the screen shot you're at level 18, thats like 2 months into the game and every other social links should be available to you at this point.

Honestly I wouldn't classify Persona 1 through 4 to be particularly stylish in terms of the UI, it was very standard, with some nice visual touches (like the battle menu in 3 being a revolver cylinder)
Persona 5 is where they really put the effort into the UI, having Joker appearing with different animated poses in each of the different screens, or how the screen is like a sheet tearing off when you get a Once More, etc
Persona 3 borrowed heavily from this, when you open the menu, the MC falls into water and floats in the background and changes poses depending on what menu you are in and it adds some new flourishes of its own, like how when you get the flash of a characters eyes when scoring a crit/weak exploit, it shatters with the persona emerging, P3R upped the UI considerably compared to how it was originally
In the original game and its rereleases, you could split up your party and they would fight their own battles or try avoid them per your orders, this has been removed and now they just follow you (though you can occasionally send one to scout ahead if you get a prompt) you can also dash and break objects, you could also ask Fuuka to change the background music, but this was also removed, there is also more background chatter amongst the group

P3R is very obviously influenced by P5 in its UI. It's not ripping it off, but to act like the very specific style that P5 was first to do and was popular for with having flashy menus that show the protagonist doing different things for each menu was something they decided to do for P3 completely separate of any influence from P5 is silly. It's not just vaguely falling under the same description of putting effort into its UI, it's taking a lot of specific things from how P5 did its UI and creating a new one from those things. A lot of games have good UIs, not a lot of them have good UIs in the way P5's is good, but P3R is one of them.

The music point was just one I thought up off the top of my head and I miss being able to put on Mayas theme but exploration feels much closer to palace/mementos exploration, even the camera is much closer to how it tracked Joker than in either P3 or P4

These numbers all seem blatantly wrong. Also I'm pretty sure that Armageddon's number is literally impossible. Armageddon does flat 9999 damage no matter what. It shouldn't use square roots and it should ignore all factors including Atk, Ma, En, etc.

Those are actually the right attack values for all the Theurgy skills, but it's just putting a square root in front of them and assuming they're plugged into the same damage formula as regular skills, which you can tell just from playing the game they don't. And obviously Armageddon's attack doesn't get plugged into anything at all.
As for how Theurgy damage actually is determined, I don't know. I think character level is the largest factor.
Actually a few other skills in previous games seem to work in a similar fashion. This same site lists Pralaya's power in P4 as √220, which anyone who's used it in that game would be able to tell you isn't accurate. That would make it only slightly stronger than Vorpal Blade.

Many of her effects are combined. Her HP heal either removes ailments or also restores SP, which makes it a lot easier to use her as a free full SP restore.

You use sundays to hang out with your school SLs because sometimes they require two hang out to level up. Only sunday exclusive SLs are hermit and sun, and they only need like maybe 21 weeks to complete

So what is Ryoji born from? It's clear that he practically is the same as Nyx -- one half of the same coin, you might say, so he already exists as long as Nyx exists, which can be understood since forever. However when we met him at the beginning of December at the bridge, he said that he was born from the experiment ten years ago? So from when Nyx was 'born' until that point, where is Ryoji OR what form does he take? Was he implying that he's the whole shadow, and 10 years ago was just he gained his singular form (the Thanatos-looking one)?
On that note, let's assume that the experiment 10 years ago never happened. Will the Fall still happen?

Okay you nearly convinced me. One last thing, is Scarlet is just that strong that you don't need to charge it? Also I built this Futs as one of the Persona for the Liz fight, where if I understood her fight correctly, one burst damage is more valuable than chip damage.
Charge is good, since it's a 2.5x modifier. You just don't need it on the attacking Persona. Also be careful about using Personas that null anything. If Elizabeth's attacks get nullified, she'll instakill you.

The smart thing would be to start on Merciless and at the end, make a separate save. For one save, turn the difficulty down and beat Nyx. For the other, keep the difficulty on Merciless.

Basically don't hang out with people outside your school in weekdays and you'll be fine. The fatfrick doesn't count as a student for some reason.
don't worry about, just accept that you aren't getting 100% on your first run
and don't use guides, they only suck all the fun out
general tips:
days are for SLs only, prioritize school SLs
evenings are for social stats, SLs can wait, social stat priority is courage > charm > academics
dual stat jobs are bait, food and arcades are always better if you arent strapped for cash
You will get to romance junpei as femc if you let chidori die.
