Pretty sure all of them require rewrites, the party member SLs are super conscious of the fact that the MC is a girl and it usually comes up more than once and even the new characters like Rio really play up the female friend vibe.

Honestly, I always figured that in the (then) hypothetical event of a P3 remake, FeMC would be left out by default. No video game is made with the eventuality of a remake in mind, least of all a game from 2007, but FeMC definitely takes the cake. Her route has multiple unique NPCs, including two unique S.Links and a cameo from Yukiko. Plus she gets a ton of special treatment, since only she gets to have an S.Link with everyone in the party. You might almost get the wrong idea and think she's the true protagonist or something, when she was always just an extra.
The way she works isn't entirely compatible with P3's Link Episodes. Because she can already S.Link with everyone including Ryoji, Link Episodes sort of become redundant.

I tried to make physical attacks deal more than 10 damage to it over and over, but I simply couldn't. Tartarus is so fun now, not sure if its the dashing or the fact that the dungeons are actually uniquely designed now, they even change the corridor layout between blocks.

More character interactions, more shit to do, the cutscenes feel better (I really liked the awakening cut scene. You actually got a feel for how large the shadow actually was for example), small things like everyone hesitating when they first use their envokers, some massive QoL stuff like Liz's quests no longer having to be done on specific days (I do wish they had kept the 'collect x item' ones though)
Biggest downside is 100% the VA changes though, I can't lie about that. It sucks because the new Junpei is really good to the point I can only sometimes tell it's not the OG and even then it's not too far off so it's not like it's a Chie situation from 4. I wish they had just kept everyone else.
Gameplay, generally, is better in my opinion. Tartarus is a lot less tedious, party members are more balanced, the VN part of the game is way nicer too since there are more "viable" activities for a full SL run. Just make sure to play it on Merciless if you've already played FES, this is going to feel a lot easier than that game on Hard and below. Voiced Social Links have kinda changed my opinion about some of the shittier ones I never cared for, like Bebe, for the better. The new party hangout events are pretty cool. The text for a lot of the main plot has been changed for the better, mostly.
Some other things were made worse too, though, especially if you're emotionally attached to the original. It's not a very ambitious remake, though, so I wouldn't say it's worth buying unless you just want to play P3 again. Buying it for the "new" content would be a waste of money, it's just a nice thing to have for people who are already P3 fans, the target audience of the remake is clearly people who started with 5.

that being said its easier to raise your social stats overall, so even if its a tight end it should be easier to get there, just make sure to prioritize school social links even if you want to play with Maiko

Don’t stress about it. Boost your socials for the NG+ playthrough. Prioritize school socials since you dont get to see them a lot. Bring the correct persona.

You will enjoy the themes and story more if you just do what you want. You get powerful enough persona's with normal fusion. You wont get soft locked.
Merciless is hard at the start but gets easier as the game goes on. P3 is pretty easy, even on hard, so if you actually want some fun and engagement play it on that.
Also yeah, play it blind and don't worry about getting absolutely every S link, just prioritize the ones you like most. You would have to autistically grind out everything to the exact day to get all the s links and at that point you may as well just watch a lets play.

If they wanted her in, they would have put her in from the start as they were making the game. Alternate UI and animations, altered dialogue, different Social Links, etc., etc. To add her in after the fact as DLC isn't very pragmatic. It's an exorbitant amount of mindless busywork for very little pay-off.

Pretty sure all of them require rewrites, the party member SLs are super conscious of the fact that the MC is a girl and it usually comes up more than once and even the new characters like Rio really play up the female friend vibe.

Honestly, I always figured that in the (then) hypothetical event of a P3 remake, FeMC would be left out by default. No video game is made with the eventuality of a remake in mind, least of all a game from 2007, but FeMC definitely takes the cake. Her route has multiple unique NPCs, including two unique S.Links and a cameo from Yukiko. Plus she gets a ton of special treatment, since only she gets to have an S.Link with everyone in the party. You might almost get the wrong idea and think she's the true protagonist or something, when she was always just an extra.

You actually got a feel for how large the shadow actually was for example), small things like everyone hesitating when they first use their envokers, some massive QoL stuff like Liz's quests no longer having to be done on specific days (I do wish they had kept the 'collect x item' ones though)
Biggest downside is 100% the VA changes though, I can't lie about that. It sucks because the new Junpei is really good to the point I can only sometimes tell it's not the OG and even then it's not too far off so it's not like it's a Chie situation from 4. I wish they had just kept everyone else.
tons more party interactions, actual social events for male party members, fully voiced social links. Also the game is just gorgeous
Gameplay, generally, is better in my opinion. Tartarus is a lot less tedious, party members are more balanced, the VN part of the game is way nicer too since there are more "viable" activities for a full SL run. Just make sure to play it on Merciless if you've already played FES, this is going to feel a lot easier than that game on Hard and below. Voiced Social Links have kinda changed my opinion about some of the shittier ones I never cared for, like Bebe, for the better. The new party hangout events are pretty cool. The text for a lot of the main plot has been changed for the better, mostly.
Some other things were made worse too, though, especially if you're emotionally attached to the original. It's not a very ambitious remake, though, so I wouldn't say it's worth buying unless you just want to play P3 again. Buying it for the "new" content would be a waste of money, it's just a nice thing to have for people who are already P3 fans, the target audience of the remake is clearly people who started with 5.

Don’t stress about it. Boost your socials for the NG+ playthrough. Prioritize school socials since you dont get to see them a lot. Bring the correct persona.
day is for SLs, evening is for social stats and occasional tartarus
mitsuru unlocks very late, you have the pllenty of time to max out academics, focus on courage and charm first
Always eat the secret menu at Wakatsu instead of studying, never sleep in class, do the Wilduck burger challenge
you're gonna start the girls late in the game its normal, dont worry about it and focus on the other school links first so you can just spam the sees girls later

Merciless is hard at the start but gets easier as the game goes on. P3 is pretty easy, even on hard, so if you actually want some fun and engagement play it on that.
Also yeah, play it blind and don't worry about getting absolutely every S link, just prioritize the ones you like most. You would have to autistically grind out everything to the exact day to get all the s links and at that point you may as well just watch a lets play.
