There's nothing wrong with Yukiko deciding she does want to work at the inn, the point was she didn't want to feel like she was being railroaded in what to do with her life, it was just when she felt free of the obligation to take over the inn that she realized how appealing it would actually be.

In contrast, I think P5 is basically a better version of P4 in terms of party S.Links. Rather than retreading old ground, most of them are about the characters dealing with the repercussions of what happened to them in the story. Yusuke's trying to find his own way in the art world after being betrayed by his mentor, Haru's trying to deal with the fallout of her father's death and the effect it had on the company, Futaba's is about her efforts to move forward after the revelations she had in her Palace. None of them really retread old ground as much; they actually can't because so many of their old bridges have been burnt away. They have nowhere to go but forward and I think that makes their character arcs much stronger.
My favorite P4 S.Link is Moon. It's easily the best one in the game by far.
Overall. I think P5 has the best social links, but that kind of makes sense. It was the third time doing it for P-Studio, and they had figured it out at that point. It also helps that they did something that they should have done earlier and the player unlock different QoL through non-party member confidants.

I think that was the wrong move to make, IMO. Then that makes confidants more important to gameplay rather than just fusion bonuses which adds more pressure to the player to try and do them all, turning people into checklists.

You could probably switch out Crit Rate Boost since it only enhances your crit rate by 5%. Sharp Student or Firm Stance could be handy. Firm Stance is the only means of mitigating Almighty damage after all.
No. You can safely use Scarlet Havoc so long as it doesn't put her under 9999 HP. The way most players deal with her is by using Scarlet Havoc and bringing her as close to 10k HP as possible, then switching to a Persona that repels phys attacks. Once her attack is reflected, she'll use her second turn to immediately fire off a Megidolaon. Tank it with Endure/Enduring Soul and the follow up with Armageddon.
Key points: You can proc both Endure and Enduring Soul in the same fight so long as they come from separate sources; having both on your Persona isn't going to do anything.
Enduring Soul will proc before Homunculus, meaning you can waste it if she casts Die For Me!. Die For Me! has such a high rate of insta-kill that having Resist Dark may not be enough. For this reason you may wish to equip Shoes of Bane, which negate all insta-kill attacks without nullifying Light or Dark as a whole.
No. This is why once her HP is down to an acceptable level, you waste a few turns casting non-damaging skills to bring your gauge back up. Once you do, you switch to a Persona that repels phys attacks and bait her out. If you bring her down to 9999 normally, she'll just heal herself and start the second phase of her fight. You can cut fight time by half this way.
You need a good slash Persona for the first half for the Theurgy, and then a good magic user for the 2nd half because you need to save your theurgy for Armageddon.
Charm takes the least, Courage takes a little bit more, and Academics is twice as much as either of those. Maxing them only matters for party member social links and Academics affects your test scores and the rewards you receive from Mitsuru. Basically you want to keep Academics at the minimum to be top of the class and focus on the other two based on who you want to go to the summer festival with (or focus on courage first because Fuuka unlocks first and I guess that's meta for minmaxing)
I managed to max them by october, and that's without really optimizing my schedule. I think you don't have to be that fast though, Mitsuru's social link isn't until the end of november

You're moronic. Healing is a pretty constant thing so you do not want your MC's turns consistently taken up by a role that could easily be done by someone else.
Akihiko's pretty shitty until the tail end of the game. God Hand's crit rate isn't that high unless you can give him something to further enhance its crit rate.
Akihiko's biggest issue is that his strongest skill is at odds with his Theurgy. He doen't have either Charge or Concentrate so he's reliant on either Koromaru or Yukari to maximize his damage.
When talking about Akihiko's strengths, we're really just talking about endgame Akihiko equipped with Double Ziggurat and Strike Bracers. He's not really gonna be critting that much, at least not when compared to the protagonist and Junpei.
First of all he gets an apt pupil weapon mid game.
Second, He doesn’t need charge he is btfo mitsuru without it.
Third of all by mid game he has gigantic fist and strike boost weapon he will be doing well over higher damage than Mitsuru with only ice boost.
Fourth, only koromaru, ken and junpei will match his damage mid game and both him and junpei will overtake the kid and his dog by the fifth block where they will become one more utility and buffbawds. Mitsuru doesn’t hit her stride until late game and is purely useful for only rakunda until you can get varna bracers. Yukari never gets good unless you think masukunda is THAT worth it (it isn’t).
Im not letting anyone else talk shit about akihiko, He hits hard in both magic and phys just because his early game is awful with sonic punch does not mean it takes him a while to get going, the second block is not the entire game, cope.

Ken gets vile assault, a spear that changes his regular attacks to dark, kougaon right from the start and zionga.
If you use him to exploit light and pierce weakness thats a free 10 sp return hes getting each time on top of effectively reducing the cost of all his skills by 10 sp.
Healing skill sp reduction wasn’t good in persona 5 and its not good now, you don’t spam healing skills that often.

The spear changes his element to light and gives him light boost, he typod. The moment you get cu chulainn (level 40 persona) ken can get innate light boost for damage and if you keep vile assault ken can also stack it with null dark accessory late game and also light amp which he gets natively and sooner than the other characters amps, although he doesn’t really need it since he also gets evade dark shoes and nulldark instantkill armor.
I was talking about his midgame weapon the strike boost knuckles he gets in the third block. double ziggurat comes in the fifth block and strike amp bracers come in the fourth.

I think all the characters have some sort of utility still in general, regardless if it changed or not. I feel most/all the characters in Reload are still viable in some way, especially considering the new gameplay elements helping everyone out to some general degree.

Maruki svery good, I think Akechi was always good and they made him better in Royal, he still has issues but I think the biggest issue with him isn't even with him, it's how others react to him and Adachi is very entertaining.
What helps with Akechi in Royal, is that during the 3rd Semester, he drops the act, and decides to just more or less let it all out, or more of himself out, towards Joker and the other characters in general, with most of his new scenes and moments. More done with him compared to original P5 at the very least.
You also got his Confidant on top of the story he already had, turns out an antagonist might be better received if you get a real chance to understand him.
Yeah. Royal in general did it's best, trying to give some/all of the returning characters more moments or something in general, alongside all of the other new content and additions, which was nice. Akechi in particular did benefit a lot from it.

Persona 4 is still the best easily for me. The setting, the fact that I dont have a kid and dog companions, the fact that the game actually lets me play most of the time instead of having weird parts where you cant do anything wins me over.
Id say gameplay was way too easy but had a lot of cool new features mixed with QoL that makes it almost the perfect combat conceptually in the series.

Hell. Haru joins when there is still like 30-40 hours of P5 left. The issue is when she joins is also when the plot kicks into overdrive, so she gets no time to adjust into the team or anything.
I think it's even weirder that by halfway into the game you don't even need navigators anymore and they're more annoying than they are useful. At least Fuuka had a story reason for navigating, Tartarus is constantly shifting and someone needed to be outside observing at all times.
I think it's more of a sign of how worthless and unnecessary navigators are in 4 and 5.

If 5 didn't have Mementos which is explicitly a shifting labyrinth, it shouldn't have a navigator at all considering Palaces give the party a physical map. Nothing in 4 is grand enough to require a navigator, and the party does perfectly fine without one.
Gameplay-wise, you still don't need a navigator as their abilities are mostly unneeded. Your party's strong enough as it is, and the navigator's mainly serve as a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Teddie can serve double-duty. He had no issues doing that before Rise comes along. At he can outperform Rise if his motivation's high enough as shown towards the climax, so what the frick do we even need Rise for. Sure, maybe for figuring out enemy weaknesses if something like Shadow Rise comes along, but nothing of its caliber ever shows up again.

But again, they're unnecessary. In Golden especially, your party's so fricking strong even without navigator support thanks to the follow-up attacks and All-Out Attack extensions. And that's not even mentioning the perks from raising the party members' social links.
You've got maybe one use, and that's using Rise as a meatshield against Margaret to facefrick the Megidolaon, but you could just use Naoto for that too.
There's just no point, in terms of both gameplay and story, for a navigator to exist in 4, and 5 if we exclude Mementos. But even in 5, Morgana was good enough and never got lost.

You can transfer things over, but you can't pick Merciless again on your NG+ or else nothing but costumes transfer. So just pick Hard difficulty or something

Invigorate on ken is really good early game just for conserving sp, especially when the clock fricks you out of twilight shards, its real value is that it also enables his theurgy condition.

Sp conservation is consistently an issue in every single persona game except golden and 5r LATE GAME because of sp wave from navi
P3r navi does not get sp wave and her theurgy is not reliable.
Soul drops are plentiful but will not permantly solve the issue either, I was still running out of sp with every character except mitsuru (spirit drain) and ken (spirit restore) even by the 5th block. Sp only stopped being an issue once door kun and junpei started getting access to shit like vorpal blade and I could just phys nuke everything, and thats well over level 68 and rank 10 magician, which is basically the last block unless you overlevel.
You want to avoid using clock as much as possible in p3r, thats why the hangouts are so valuable since mitsuru/ken give you sp items and the planters give you sp items as well, but you only get so much of those.
Its pretty dishonest to devalue sp preservation or even the fact that it enables his theurgy, which is the best defensive utility in the game.
You can reliably restore your sp with fuuka with a little savescumming, also it's a really high chance of sp restore if you have multiple characters low on sp.
Your Personal experience doesn’t mean anything. Its complete bullshit that sp has never been an issue for climbing the tower when your main sources of sp restore without the clock are accessories, fuuka theurgy after you tanked everyones sp to zero, and soul drops. You absolutely run tight on sp on every block until vorpal blade becomes more readily available, especially on merciless, being able to save my sp restore items for akihiko and koromaru was absolutely useful
You can reliably restore your sp with fuuka with a little savescumming, also it's a really high chance of sp restore if you have multiple characters low on sp.

If you're resorting to something like Gae Bolg's normal attack to conserve SP, you may as well just have a Persona with all the rank 1 spells. It'll make every battle a lot smoother and it's easy with skill cards.

There are better weapons with more practical effects. The timeframe in which tactics like that are useful is very limited. After the halfway point, there's not much point to normal attacks anymore.
Admittedly, Ken's one of the better characters to use that strat on, but I would never, ever give Junpei Laevanteinn.
Unfortunately, this isn't like the old days where you can give Ken Gungnir and stack it with Spear Mastery for obscene results. Weapon Mastery skills don't exist anymore and by the endgame, you're not really using normal attacks anymore either. And by that point there are like four characters who outdamage Ken provided they have the proper set-up, and that's not including the protagonist.
Just use a persona with Spirit Drain on MC with a Drain Ability passive so each drain gives you 40 SP and have MC do the majority of the elemental weakness damage.
I always end a Tartarus one night run to the border floor with MC with full SP and the rest of the party members at around half SP.
The argument was moreso comparing Yukari to Ken for usefulness since they both have passives focused on sp preservation. At some point it got sidetracked into saying that invigorate isn’t useful because you should never have sp problems, which is honestly a dishonest argument but whatever, the thread is clearly full of autists.

This doesn't make sense as of Reload because Fuuka can pre-buff you, restore everyone's SP and HP, give everyone charge/concentrate, map out the whole floor and analyze enemies.

Pretty sure they do. And I've never really paid attention until I was dicking around at the final block, but her skills don't seem to cost anything during it, just like with Metis's Orgia Mode.
Like against bosses? I didn't do any testing, but I'd assume they should be relatively similar in total output, unless your Aigis just spams normal attacks like a fricking cracked wrench.
Most of the time, no. Only if you need the AoE or against nyx where maximum output does more damage than his phases have health so you might as well take the orgia mode buff into the next phase.
Why are there certain demons that just straight up never seem to appear in Persona despite rather consistently appearing in other games? The most significant ones I can think of are Muu Shuwuu, Turdak and Preta, but there are definitely others.
It's kind of fricked that we never get a Strega boss battle against the entire group at once. Especially since they even made it so that they Shift to each other now.
The only opportunity to do that would have been the Chidori fight, but it didn't happen for some reason.

I think the reason they split up on the Promised Day is because they had no illusions of actually being able to win. Their goal was to stall for time since we only had an hour to stop the Fall. Though I'm not entirely certain why they bothered. Takaya was 100% certain that there was no way to stop the Fall so I don't really get why he fought at all.

Never played any of the Persona games but was thinking about trying out Persona 4 Golden. You have to activate the romance flags in the Ikutsuki social link which makes jealous and will let you romance her, but if you're already in a relationship with Yukari then it won't happen.

You get it late enough that it's already after her dad dies and it could have been this really interesting exploration of her feelings and inner doubts, but instead it's just her acting like she's from another planet while doing poor people activities. "Wow, this is a ham-bur-ger? And you eat it with your hands? How quaint!" Give me a fricking break Atlus.
They should have just half-assed it and did female Door instead of trying to convert everything into FeMC, much less work and the end result would probably look better.

I've got Fuuka's SL at level 7, Yukari at level 3 and maxed all other school SL's except Fortune (art kid) and Moon (Gourmet King) because I don't give a frick about them. Am I on track to complete all my team's SL's (including Mitsuru and Aigis) before end game or have I royally fricked up? All stats are maxed out btw.

I did spoil myself (names of) Social Links and anons told me about Dating Site item. I fricked up because I did gourmet king and old couple links during normal school days instead of leaving them to the end of Dec.
If I knew that, I would have max S.L. on this playthrough. But since I fricked up I have everything at max except for Aegis.
I did not follow any guide.

It's just too easy. I can't even imagine playing this on anything lower than Merciless
Baton pass is fine and early on where you actually have to use it it's fun. The game is too easy, but it's the strength of physical, Theurgies and weak enemies with weak AI that make it too easy. From around midgame on you're barely even ever going to see the Baton Pass mechanics because of how unnecessary it is to use with all the other options available to you to just clear every encounter mindlessly.

The powerpyx guide is extremely rough around the edges. Just modify it to your liking, if you follow the guide to a t you can optimize certain things and get ahead so that you aren’t unlocking party passives and tartarus dash at the butt fricking end of the game.
If you’re following the powerpyx guide: >even if you’re following it to the t it misses 1 nurse visit so you can get ahead there >you can also use temperance to get ahead another day or two >you can modify the first and second tartarus visits so you can get a nurse visit on the first and so that you can unlock akihiko for the first dive of the second block instead of brute forcing it with only 3 characters >don’t do the extra fuuka hangouts for slink points and instead do other hangouts, especially shinji, so you can unlock passives much earlier use the dating website later on to catch up with fuuka >its smarter to not prioritize koromaru for hangouts early on cause hes much more available than the other party members for hangouts
The way they spread out the slinks is fine but some of the things they do are hyper inefficient. Your first Tartarus run is done on a day where you wont get nurse access the following day and you also dont have any slinks so you can’t get bonus on magician fuses.
The second tartarus visit is done so early you have to brute force the 3rd block with only 3 party members, that felt like I was fighting tooth and nail and I seriously thought the guide was made on peaceful difficulty or some shit

There's nothing wrong with Yukiko deciding she does want to work at the inn, the point was she didn't want to feel like she was being railroaded in what to do with her life, it was just when she felt free of the obligation to take over the inn that she realized how appealing it would actually be.

In contrast, I think P5 is basically a better version of P4 in terms of party S.Links. Rather than retreading old ground, most of them are about the characters dealing with the repercussions of what happened to them in the story. Yusuke's trying to find his own way in the art world after being betrayed by his mentor, Haru's trying to deal with the fallout of her father's death and the effect it had on the company, Futaba's is about her efforts to move forward after the revelations she had in her Palace. None of them really retread old ground as much; they actually can't because so many of their old bridges have been burnt away. They have nowhere to go but forward and I think that makes their character arcs much stronger.
My favorite P4 S.Link is Moon. It's easily the best one in the game by far.

Overall. I think P5 has the best social links, but that kind of makes sense. It was the third time doing it for P-Studio, and they had figured it out at that point. I think that was the wrong move to make, IMO. Then that makes confidants more important to gameplay rather than just fusion bonuses which adds more pressure to the player to try and do them all, turning people into checklists.
P5 links annoy me with them all ending the same way: they get in trouble, you go to Mementos to fix it, then they announce they know you're in the Phantom thieves.

Its only purpose is for using Scarlet Havoc. It has no active skills, only passive ones. Your other Personas can handle casting Heat Riser, Debilitate and Charge. You could probably switch out Crit Rate Boost since it only enhances your crit rate by 5%. Sharp Student or Firm Stance could be handy. Firm Stance is the only means of mitigating Almighty damage after all.
I thought if you used a theurgy and it didn’t kill you got nuked
No. You can safely use Scarlet Havoc so long as it doesn't put her under 9999 HP. The way most players deal with her is by using Scarlet Havoc and bringing her as close to 10k HP as possible, then switching to a Persona that repels phys attacks. Once her attack is reflected, she'll use her second turn to immediately fire off a Megidolaon. Tank it with Endure/Enduring Soul and the follow up with Armageddon.
Key points: You can proc both Endure and Enduring Soul in the same fight so long as they come from separate sources; having both on your Persona isn't going to do anything.
Enduring Soul will proc before Homunculus, meaning you can waste it if she casts Die For Me!. Die For Me! has such a high rate of insta-kill that having Resist Dark may not be enough. For this reason you may wish to equip Shoes of Bane, which negate all insta-kill attacks without nullifying Light or Dark as a whole.
Does Enduring Soul give you back your Theurgy gauge?
It's essentially a second health bar, you won't be considered dead
No. This is why once her HP is down to an acceptable level, you waste a few turns casting non-damaging skills to bring your gauge back up. Once you do, you switch to a Persona that repels phys attacks and bait her out. If you bring her down to 9999 normally, she'll just heal herself and start the second phase of her fight. You can cut fight time by half this way.
You need a good slash Persona for the first half for the Theurgy, and then a good magic user for the 2nd half because you need to save your theurgy for Armageddon.
How fast can i max out my charm, courage, academics to get these social links?
I think i have 3 in all at the end of May
Charm takes the least, Courage takes a little bit more, and Academics is twice as much as either of those. Maxing them only matters for party member social links and Academics affects your test scores and the rewards you receive from Mitsuru. Basically you want to keep Academics at the minimum to be top of the class and focus on the other two based on who you want to go to the summer festival with (or focus on courage first because Fuuka unlocks first and I guess that's meta for minmaxing)
I managed to max them by october, and that's without really optimizing my schedule. I think you don't have to be that fast though, Mitsuru's social link isn't until the end of november

Magic Ability from Messiah. Or Firm Stance for extra tanking, or Single-Target Boost for extra oomph against that boss. You sure as hell don't need Multi-Target Boost since your heavy AoE's already good enough as it is against mooks with the other passives.
Shock/Freeze Boost and Ailment Boost for your Ice and Elec Personas. Magic Ability is good but by the time you get Messiah you're going to have the weapon that just gives you passively.

Akihiko's pretty shitty until the tail end of the game. God Hand's crit rate isn't that high unless you can give him something to further enhance its crit rate.
Akihiko's biggest issue is that his strongest skill is at odds with his Theurgy. He doen't have either Charge or Concentrate so he's reliant on either Koromaru or Yukari to maximize his damage.
When talking about Akihiko's strengths, we're really just talking about endgame Akihiko equipped with Double Ziggurat and Strike Bracers. He's not really gonna be critting that much, at least not when compared to the protagonist and Junpei.

Fourth, only koromaru, ken and junpei will match his damage mid game and both him and junpei will overtake the kid and his dog by the fifth block where they will become one more utility and buffbawds. Mitsuru doesn’t hit her stride until late game and is purely useful for only rakunda until you can get varna bracers. Yukari never gets good unless you think masukunda is THAT worth it (it isn’t).

The spear changes his element to light and gives him light boost, he typod. The moment you get cu chulainn (level 40 persona) ken can get innate light boost for damage and if you keep vile assault ken can also stack it with null dark accessory late game and also light amp which he gets natively and sooner than the other characters amps, although he doesn’t really need it since he also gets evade dark shoes and nulldark instantkill armor.
Apt Pupil isn't as valuable as Strike Amp. Crits provide a 1.5x damage buff, but Strike Amp does that permanently.

Maruki svery good, I think Akechi was always good and they made him better in Royal, he still has issues but I think the biggest issue with him isn't even with him, it's how others react to him and Adachi is very entertaining.
What helps with Akechi in Royal, is that during the 3rd Semester, he drops the act, and decides to just more or less let it all out, or more of himself out, towards Joker and the other characters in general, with most of his new scenes and moments. More done with him compared to original P5 at the very least.
Her Halloween costume was nice.
You also got his Confidant on top of the story he already had, turns out an antagonist might be better received if you get a real chance to understand him.

Id say gameplay was way too easy but had a lot of cool new features mixed with QoL that makes it almost the perfect combat conceptually in the series.

I think it's even weirder that by halfway into the game you don't even need navigators anymore and they're more annoying than they are useful. At least Fuuka had a story reason for navigating, Tartarus is constantly shifting and someone needed to be outside observing at all times.

If 5 didn't have Mementos which is explicitly a shifting labyrinth, it shouldn't have a navigator at all considering Palaces give the party a physical map. Nothing in 4 is grand enough to require a navigator, and the party does perfectly fine without one.
Gameplay-wise, you still don't need a navigator as their abilities are mostly unneeded. Your party's strong enough as it is, and the navigator's mainly serve as a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Teddie can serve double-duty. He had no issues doing that before Rise comes along. At he can outperform Rise if his motivation's high enough as shown towards the climax, so what the frick do we even need Rise for. Sure, maybe for figuring out enemy weaknesses if something like Shadow Rise comes along, but nothing of its caliber ever shows up again.
That's why in Golden she's given a slew of support skills.
But again, they're unnecessary. In Golden especially, your party's so fricking strong even without navigator support thanks to the follow-up attacks and All-Out Attack extensions. And that's not even mentioning the perks from raising the party members' social links.
You've got maybe one use, and that's using Rise as a meatshield against Margaret to facefrick the Megidolaon, but you could just use Naoto for that too.
There's just no point, in terms of both gameplay and story, for a navigator to exist in 4, and 5 if we exclude Mementos. But even in 5, Morgana was good enough and never got lost.

Invigorate on ken is really good early game just for conserving sp, especially when the clock fricks you out of twilight shards, its real value is that it also enables his theurgy condition.

Sp conservation is consistently an issue in every single persona game except golden and 5r LATE GAME because of sp wave from navi
P3r navi does not get sp wave and her theurgy is not reliable.
Soul drops are plentiful but will not permantly solve the issue either, I was still running out of sp with every character except mitsuru (spirit drain) and ken (spirit restore) even by the 5th block. Sp only stopped being an issue once door kun and junpei started getting access to shit like vorpal blade and I could just phys nuke everything, and thats well over level 68 and rank 10 magician, which is basically the last block unless you overlevel.
You want to avoid using clock as much as possible in p3r, thats why the hangouts are so valuable since mitsuru/ken give you sp items and the planters give you sp items as well, but you only get so much of those.
Its pretty dishonest to devalue sp preservation or even the fact that it enables his theurgy, which is the best defensive utility in the game.
You can reliably restore your sp with fuuka with a little savescumming, also it's a really high chance of sp restore if you have multiple characters low on sp.
It's never been a problem for me. Like I said, I've always neglected Life Aid and Invigorate and I've never had any issues.
Your Personal experience doesn’t mean anything. Its complete bullshit that sp has never been an issue for climbing the tower when your main sources of sp restore without the clock are accessories, fuuka theurgy after you tanked everyones sp to zero, and soul drops. You absolutely run tight on sp on every block until vorpal blade becomes more readily available, especially on merciless, being able to save my sp restore items for akihiko and koromaru was absolutely useful

You really do not need to go this far. I only got fuukas sp restore twice on block 2 tartarus thru sheer luck and never had to use it again, those are the times without the soul spinach and dorm hangouts.
If you're resorting to something like Gae Bolg's normal attack to conserve SP, you may as well just have a Persona with all the rank 1 spells. It'll make every battle a lot smoother and it's easy with skill cards.

There are better weapons with more practical effects. The timeframe in which tactics like that are useful is very limited. After the halfway point, there's not much point to normal attacks anymore.
Admittedly, Ken's one of the better characters to use that strat on, but I would never, ever give Junpei Laevanteinn.
Unfortunately, this isn't like the old days where you can give Ken Gungnir and stack it with Spear Mastery for obscene results. Weapon Mastery skills don't exist anymore and by the endgame, you're not really using normal attacks anymore either. And by that point there are like four characters who outdamage Ken provided they have the proper set-up, and that's not including the protagonist.
Just use a persona with Spirit Drain on MC with a Drain Ability passive so each drain gives you 40 SP and have MC do the majority of the elemental weakness damage.
I always end a Tartarus one night run to the border floor with MC with full SP and the rest of the party members at around half SP.
The argument was moreso comparing Yukari to Ken for usefulness since they both have passives focused on sp preservation. At some point it got sidetracked into saying that invigorate isn’t useful because you should never have sp problems, which is honestly a dishonest argument but whatever, the thread is clearly full of autists.

Pretty sure they do. And I've never really paid attention until I was dicking around at the final block, but her skills don't seem to cost anything during it, just like with Metis's Orgia Mode.

Like against bosses? I didn't do any testing, but I'd assume they should be relatively similar in total output, unless your Aigis just spams normal attacks like a fricking cracked wrench.
Most of the time, no. Only if you need the AoE or against nyx where maximum output does more damage than his phases have health so you might as well take the orgia mode buff into the next phase.
Why are there certain demons that just straight up never seem to appear in Persona despite rather consistently appearing in other games? The most significant ones I can think of are Muu Shuwuu, Turdak and Preta, but there are definitely others.

I think the reason they split up on the Promised Day is because they had no illusions of actually being able to win. Their goal was to stall for time since we only had an hour to stop the Fall. Though I'm not entirely certain why they bothered. Takaya was 100% certain that there was no way to stop the Fall so I don't really get why he fought at all.

You have to activate the romance flags in the Ikutsuki social link which makes jealous and will let you romance her, but if you're already in a relationship with Yukari then it won't happen.

I don't use any exploits, I don't use items besides revives, I don't do anything to prepare for fights. In the OG P3 that was a recipe to get blown up. In this game I feel too safe. I also noticed the AI targeting my AI party for single attacks if their attack would kill the MC. Also Baton pass is cancer.
It's just too easy. I can't even imagine playing this on anything lower than Merciless
Baton pass is fine and early on where you actually have to use it it's fun. The game is too easy, but it's the strength of physical, Theurgies and weak enemies with weak AI that make it too easy. From around midgame on you're barely even ever going to see the Baton Pass mechanics because of how unnecessary it is to use with all the other options available to you to just clear every encounter mindlessly.

The powerpyx guide is extremely rough around the edges. Just modify it to your liking, if you follow the guide to a t you can optimize certain things and get ahead so that you aren’t unlocking party passives and tartarus dash at the butt fricking end of the game.
If you’re following the powerpyx guide:
>even if you’re following it to the t it misses 1 nurse visit so you can get ahead there
>you can also use temperance to get ahead another day or two
>you can modify the first and second tartarus visits so you can get a nurse visit on the first and so that you can unlock akihiko for the first dive of the second block instead of brute forcing it with only 3 characters
>don’t do the extra fuuka hangouts for slink points and instead do other hangouts, especially shinji, so you can unlock passives much earlier use the dating website later on to catch up with fuuka
>its smarter to not prioritize koromaru for hangouts early on cause hes much more available than the other party members for hangouts
The way they spread out the slinks is fine but some of the things they do are hyper inefficient. Your first Tartarus run is done on a day where you wont get nurse access the following day and you also dont have any slinks so you can’t get bonus on magician fuses.
The second tartarus visit is done so early you have to brute force the 3rd block with only 3 party members, that felt like I was fighting tooth and nail and I seriously thought the guide was made on peaceful difficulty or some shit
